"Similarly, the three co-founders of Project Warung — Muhd Shah Indra Jasni, Lee Syafiq Muhd Ridzuan Lee and Mohd Ridzuan Ayob — all have star-studded resumes that include internships and positions at restaurants like DB Bistro, Bar-Roque Grill, JAAN and two-Michelin-starred La Pyramide in France. At their last roles, Syafiq and Ridzuan were on the opening team of Terra which went on to win a Michelin star in 2016. When they turned in their toques and set up gourmet burger joint Burgs By Project Warung at Golden Mile Food Centre in May 2017, they were adamant about only putting in their own savings and not taking loans, even if it meant going without an income for the first six months. Burgs launched its second outlet at Viva Business Park just 10 months into opening its first." - Rachel Tan

Ordered a chicken and beef-shroom burger! Relatively cheap, though still more expensive than Mac’s. The quality scales up accordingly though. Juicy beef patty, though the chicken wasn’t quite as impressive. Love the value for money deal of the added cheese fries (only $1 and enough for 2). Place is rather small, so don’t expect a restaurant style setting. - a broke college kid

We had the classic cheeseburger and the beef brisket burger. The bun is super soft and the patty is well done. The beef brisket was delicious and flavorful as well. Fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And this was quite affordable! A good, unique alternative to McDonalds.

My second visit to Burgs. First was a few years ago when they were still at Golden Mile hawker centre. This eatery never failed to satisfy my cravings for a good old burger. We ordered the classic cheese and herb grilled chicken burger. The juicy cheese burger still retained its standard with the unforgettable sauce flavour. The fried shallots added to the great taste yet not overpowering. I regretted not getting the double! The herb grilled burger had the very Italian herby flavour that will mesmerised every burger lover. Accompanying fries was superbly done that was still crispy after 10 minutes of taking away. Thumbs up for providing burgers of such high quality at this price range. Will definitely go back more often and not wait till few years later now.

My meal at Burgs was really good. I really felt like I needed to give them a good review (even though they have many already). The two of us shared 2 double burgers and I must say, despite some people saying that the portions are pretty small, they filled us up pretty well. Don't get me wrong, we aren't small eaters. Portion size is decent in my opinion (definitely get the double). I personally feel that all things considered (price, taste, portion, wait time, availability), Burgs is hard to beat. The fish burger was good but I definitely recommend going with a beef burger. We had the bacon cheese burger and the sauce went really well with the meat. The beef was done really well, from the taste to the texture. Absolutely delicious. Fries were good too. Well seasoned and cooked to the right point. Burgs is definitely a place I'd easily recommend to anyone.

Ordered the Classic Beef Single for 5.50. Didn't have to wait long even though it's during the lunch hour. Better still, they pass you a buzzer so that you can wait in comfort at your table. The beef patty was surprisingly thick for the price, good enough to fill your tummy. It's juicy but not as flavourful as I would like. Still it's better than some gourmet burgers I have tried. The fries are crispy on the outside and worth the calories.

BAD Classic cheese burger order on 26 May 2023 12:37pm I would give 0 star but Google does not allow Burger lovers better avoid this stall Everything is overdone, patty and bread Size very tiny, diameter smaller than my fingers (btw I am the one with smallest fingers in whatever group) Look at the charred bread I can even taste bitterness Beef patty very hard to chew that I even spit out some tendons, no juice at all Please do not waste your money here, especially given the hot hawker centre setting Fries are just okay, average level but the ketchup and chill sauce on the sweet side. Personally prefer more refreshing sauce. VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT A BAD BURGER RUINED MY DAY

Simply delicious! From burgers to fries to honey chicken! You can use Timbre+ app for payment also. Anyway, you guys go down to Timbre+, do download the app and top up the store credits. You’d get 10% off for the meals purchased when you pay via the app 👍 There are payment scanners at the stalls where you just need to flash the QR code. Usually we need to scan QR code first, key in the amount, swipe left to confirm and show the hp screen to the vendor right? This one skips all these steps. So seamless. Just scan the QR code in your Timbre’s app to the stall scanner, and thats it!

buns were soft and slightly sweet to taste, meat patty was juicy and flavourful, fries were crispy, non oily and generously given as well. truffle mushroom may be a tad milder as compared to there truffle competitions out there. however, our classic cheese burger this time came without fried shallots, which changes the overall textures and taste of the burger quite a fair bit sadly.
