The frozen margaritas were so good! I loved the passion fruit more than the mango, but both are pretty solid. They have tasty Mexican candy shots too!

Google
Drinks were tasty and refreshing. Play area for kids was decent. Thats where the positives stop. Only about half the food we ordered was edible due to the intense level of salt. Food is pretty pricey for mostly just being dropped in a fryer. The bathroom was so disguising I almost threw up. I just held it for a gas station. The place was super dead at lunch time on a Sunday which should have been a red flag.

Google
This location is relaxed and family friendly before 9pm. They have craft beer on tap. A full bar. Daily specials. Happy hour. TVs for sports. Small kitchen. Outdoor picnic tables. Simple playground to keep the kids busy. Adjacent to small business & one other bar. I would not recommend walking to this location from downtown. There are homeless in the area. Once at the location it does feel safer to walk The parking & location do feel safe.

Google
Lots of space, great happy hour both for beer and margaritas. Playground available and train passes nearby with a scenic view.

Google
I met some friends here for a drink, and I was surprised at how spacious this place is once you walk through the doors. They have a huge outdoor area with a play area for kids. So don't let "Beer Garden" lead you to think this isn't a family place. With plenty of room to spread out, this would be a nice place to hang out anytime, or especially if you might be seeing a show at the Alamo Dome. They have a variety of beer on draft, and their frozen margaritas pack a puch...so pace yourself!

Google
It's just an awesome place to hang out with coworkers, friends, or family. The staff are awesome, wonderful, and beautiful people to assist you in what you need. The food is simple and very tasty, and the atmosphere is fun and delightful. I and my family had a wonderful great time, and so did my little niece. Thank you to the whole beautiful staff ❤️ at Burleson Yard Beer Garden 🍺 may God always bless 🙌 🙏 the staff 🙏 at this awesome place 😀 😊 ❤️

Margs were good and cheap! Atmosphere was nice on a Saturday night.

Google
This place was an awesome beer garden. I did not get to try the food, but it did smell amazing. The beer options were great, and they had great beer specials. Prices were fair, and there was plenty of seating. The only thing I was not a fan of was all the kids, but if you come after nine, it's 21 and up then.

Yelp
My friend wanted to come here but we regretted it after 2 beers in - the girls that were bartending, were rude it was a weekday and they weren't busy when we came in - we went outside and got a warmer reception from the weather than from those two The place looked amazing, the drinks tasted wonderful but we won't be coming back

Yelp
Such a great place and lots of fun. Came here one Saturday night to support some local bands and it was badass! Wife and i got pretty toasted last night so you know we had fun. Its also great to see tons of children and infants at this bar. The true south San Antonio experience. Not all the service industry workers at this establishment are stuck up POS, so that's another plus for this place. They do have a kitchen however you must not be in a mixed race relationship here because if you are they will tell you that they have stopped serving food. While others will be eating all around you oh well just another true San Antonio experience. But the beer and Tequila are good so its got some more positives.

Yelp
We finally had a chance to come and try this place out, with the kids. We are so thankful for spots with playgrounds. Especially when they have great drinks and eats. The kids had a great time on the playground and were entertained while we kicked back and relaxed. I had the cucumber margarita, frozen and on the rocks but favored on the rocks. It was nicely balanced and helped cool me off in this Texas heat! The hubs had the pear snap beer and fresh kicks hazy IPA. He was really looking forward to the Electric Jelly Fish but they were out. I just need to say, the fries here are so good. They were the stand out dish all around, and they're a side. My girls really enjoyed the chicken strips, they were tender, juicy and a good portion size. The cheesesteak was nothing extraordinary, kinda plain tasting but not terrible. I don't think it's really the thing to get here. Not pictured is the burger with just about everything except avocado. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese and bacon. My husband devoured it and boasted about its deliciousness. We didn't get to partake in any live music but the stage setup is really nice and there is plenty of seating. If you're lucky you can snag a table with a fan! Everyone here is super friendly and service was pretty quick with drink and food orders.

Yelp
Daydrinking is always a great time when you can vibe out in a lowkey spot with great drinks, music you like and small snacks. We walked to Burlesons from Alamo Beer Co. and were excited to see that they have happy hour on Saturdays and ALL DAY SUNDAY. Who doesn't love happy hour? The margaritas seemed to be the star on Yelp and they indeed were in real life. My strawberry margarita on the rocks was great, I loved that the flavor wasn't overpowering and the lime still shined through. The prickly pear margarita was good too, first time trying this flavor. It was sweet and tart, well balanced and with it frozen it definitely tasted like a popsicles. Let's talk about these fried pickles. I probably could've ate two more baskets they were good af. I love a good bread and this was so flavorful and was hitting all the right spots. I don't know if the music playlist is the same all the time but they were on one yesterday. Chill spot to enjoy a margarita and maybe even play some cornhole, check 'em out.

Yelp
We found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out after a downtown show. We were pretty impressed with the food. It was very good and one of the best burgers I've had in a while. They do have a play area for the kids as well as a outdoor and indoor seating area. Everyone was super friendly, and the drinks were on point. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Yelp
This was a solid place to kill some time while visiting the city and avoiding some of the touristy places. It served as a nice break for me and my spouse while also letting the kids 5&3 run some of their energy off in the playground. Despite what Yelp might say the hours are, it was open well before 3pm. I think Friday opens at 12pm. They also had a happy hour from 12-7pm which we took advantage of for some Dos Equis and a frozen margarita.I did also have a craft beer which was ~$7.

Yelp
Disappointed in the service try to watch the game sat down for maybe about couple minutes. Had to go up and ask for a menu. No one helped out as I try to grab a chair to sit out front. They stopped me and told me I can't stand or sit in the middle section, wouldn't bother going in here again. 0 stars

Yelp
So, I have been to this spot several times and will continue to go. It's always fun and so bike friendly. If you live and ride downtown, you need to check it out. The food is good....about what you would expect from a bar/icehouse. The wings were awesome. The drinks were poured excellently, too. Good music and family friendly. A train comes screaming by every now and then. The kids love it! The only thing is the one bartender that was working (on my last visit) seemed very unhappy...like she just didn't care.....her customer service was nonexistent.

Yelp
When I paid for my purchase I used my card and I someone tried to run my account for more money but didn't go through thanks to my bank. Food was okay, pay with cash!

Yelp
We came to Burleson Yard Beer Garden after a couple of drinks at La Ruina Bar. We went with their loaded fries, chicken wings, quesadillas and fried pickles. The fries and the wings were good. The pickles were a tad bit over breaded and the quesadillas were ok. You order at the bar and the tip was automatically added to the tab. There's an option to add more tip to the receipt which I thought was odd since the tip was already added without our consent. There's outdoor seating but we opted to sit in and every table had a game piece for entertainment which I thought was pretty cool. All together, not a bad place to hang out. It's obviously a popular place for the younger crowd.

Yelp
Here are the most recent menus! Food was hot, staff was friendly, and being outside was the perfect touch for the beginning of spring!(:

Yelp
Recently visited during the week midday and of course it wasn't busy ... walked in and approached the bar and JOHN who was our bartender didn't even look up at us to say hello He seemed rather annoyed that I had to grab his attention when I said hello to him. In fact he seemed very annoyed that his conversation with some guy was cut short to attend us and " do his job " I had a question about a particular drink and honestly wasn't helpful at all And when he finally gave us our drinks he made the wrong one I asked for watermelon margarita And he gave me mango Very different drinks so I mentioned that to him and he couldn't hide his annoyance literally rolling his eyes I was having a wonderful day until John and his horrible attitude Seemed really homophobic because there's nothing I could say to make an excuse for his behavior Lastly the restrooms are always disgusting that's never changed ... it's been almost 10 years that I've been going and no one seems to care about cleanliness

Yelp
We had just gotten a nice drink at the Artisan Craft bar and our slight buzzes reminded us we should find something to eat. We walked around the corner of Artisan to see what we could find and we found this beer garden among several other bars, cafe's and other businesses. This place had plenty of seating inside and out. They don't brew their own beer but had plenty others to choose from. We got a BBQ burger and quesadilla with Hoppadillo and Electric Jellyfish beers on tap respectfully and were happy with our choices. The fries seem to have an extra coating that made them crispy and delicious. The quesadillas came with sour cream and pico de Gallo, but not guacamole. I didn't miss the guacamole much though because the quesadillas were so well toasted and tasty. They weren't overly stuffed with chicken which I prefer and had plenty of gooey cheese. My fiancé really enjoyed his burger and liked the sweet BBQ sauce on it. There was a down-to-earth vibe here where we saw lots of friend groups gathered and having fun. You'll pick up your food outside in the back of the beer garden, the friendly staff will guide you. They have a play ground outside but children aren't allowed after 9 pm here, which seems appropriate. They allow smoking outside as well as dogs. There were signs throughout saying they will be happy to help people call a taxi or ride share if they feel too drunk to drive. This is a nice relaxed place to grab a drink and then a bite to soak up the alcohol.

Yelp
Two thumbs up today. Great food, great drinks and great music. What more can one ask for? Seriously, if you haven't been here, you must go soon. This local hangout offers a great vibe for a nice price. The frozen strawberry margarita was good and strong. And the barbecue chicken tender basket totally hit the spot. I highly recommend it. I will definitely order it again. The chicken tenders were fried hot and the fries were nice and crispy. Perfect.

Yelp
Wonderfully spacious beer garden with live music and Guinness on tap. Accommodating bartenders who know how to correctly pour Guinness, a definite plus. The Japanese punk band is surprisingly melodic, they don't feel the need to scream every song like western punk band!
google avatar

Tracy G.

Yelp
Bartender's are rude never smiling they look like they don't want to be working we left after one beer! Cause of their attitude I'll go waste my money else where!
google avatar

Krystle V.

Yelp
Always a great selection and great service. Never had food but always smells delicious! Bartenders always make sure you're happy and offer suggestions when asked.

Yelp
This place was really fascinating and fun to have some drinks with friends and family. I came here with my brother-n-law for some Fiesta 2022 fun to meet up with his crew of friends. We all sat here and talked about what we planned on doing while at Fiesta. A lot of great areas for seating. The bartenders here were very tentative to everyone ordering drinks. They don't hold on to your card here either when you leave your tap open. Parking is semi limited when packed but there is street parking etc to park.

Yelp
Super family friendly with a play ground, bag toss, and ping pong tables! I came for their happy hour because the $5 frozen margaritas ($1 extra for flavor) are so good **and strong. They put on some really fun events from time to time including djs, live music, and vegan pop ups! They do have food options as well that you can order at the bar. Definitely a solid spot, great to visit when the weather is nice, for a family outing, get together with friends, or even if you want to work on some stuff (they have wifi).

Yelp
IG & FB GoodEatsInSA A well known hidden gem in SA, Burleson yard beer garden is a great place to meet up with friends and grab a couple high quality beers/ipas/bocks/etc or cocktails while sitting in a relaxing outdoor patio. This was my 3rd time visiting and i loved the atmosphere, music, food, and prices during HH. The food from the food truck was also really good and fairly priced considering the amount of food given. The 2 hand filling double cheeseburger was definitely belly filling, flavorful, and cooked just right. Cant wait to go back when they have live music and sports on the TVs.
google avatar

Gunnar T.

Yelp
Great spot to meet up for beers, cocktails. Lots of space outdoors with TVs to watch games. Cool spot.

Yelp
Fun beer garden with playground. Kids have to leave by 9. Burgers are good and they come with tator tots. The margaritas are very strong, but dont taste to good. I'd stick to beer here. There is an inside area to sit and a big patio/outside area too.
google avatar

Laura F.

Yelp
I have been coming to this place for a few months at least once a month for a book club. The place has a menu that changes regularly and old favorites to keep you coming back. My favorite are the deluxe tots with the over easy egg on top. They also have a great Happy Hour that you can check out on Facebook. I highly recommend their frozen Margaritas too. The place has ample parking and there are a lot of cool local shops in the same area, like a plant shop. There is also great indoor/outdoor seating. You place your food and drink orders at the bar and pickup your food outside when your buzzer goes off. Also, huge plus is that it is pet friendly.

Yelp
I forgot to take pictures but I had an absolutely amazing time at Burleson Yard Beer Garden. It was difficult to find parking because a lot people were out enjoying themselves. We dined outside and it was quite decent. The weather was perfect. I noticed there were people under the back patio that had heated tables (hopefully my observation is correct). The Margaritas were pretty tasty as well as the Cajun wings. I didn't realize that this place was so close to the train tracks. We got a big choo choo surprise. Hahaha. Anyway, there's a lot of seating outside or you can sit inside at the bar or tables. I hope to visit again soon for a better review and pictures.

Yelp
Stopped in with my dad, cousin & her husband after a family photo shoot in the area for a quick drink. I always go with the bartenders pick. A delicious porter indeed! Appetizer we ordered was stellar. The crowd was live and loud! Just like we like it! Definitely a fun exploration on my visit to San Antonio from Fort Worth.

Yelp
Spent a nice Sunday afternoon getting "warmed up" for a Spurs game. Drinks were great as well as my burger. Good vibes. Definitely makes my list of backyard chill spots. 2 thumbs up!

Nicole S.

Yelp
Great bar. Love the outside space. I don't love drinking at places that allow kids, but if parents want to bring their kids to a space with a bunch of adults drinking, that's up to them.

Larissa H.

Yelp
If you're okay with bar vibes this is the outdoor place for you. I would love to see food trucks come back to area and a little bit more awareness of drunk patrons.
google avatar

Alicia G.

Yelp
It's a hit or miss with this place. Sometimes it is good sometimes is bad. Drinks are decent price. I've been there multiple times but the last two visits I sat at the bar during daylight, both days were not busy, it took them more than 5 minutes to ask what I would like to drink. Female bartender was too busy chatting with other friends and male bartender saw me but he ignored me. They don't acknowledge you when you sit at the bar or say I'll be right with you, I had to ask them.
google avatar

Kassie B.

Yelp
Cuul scenario just a bit dirty. Outside patio area great for big groups a decent bar. Nothing impressive about it... But might work for other folks.
google avatar

Angela M.

Yelp
Best frozen margaritas in town, at least i think so. My favorite is the cucumber margarita, my sister had the chamoy . We tried out the loaded fries. Theres a play ground for the kids and great music, and tvs for sports.

Yelp
Best Micheladas! $3 on Saturdays! This place is a great, clean and a vibe! 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Friends and I were struggling to find a place we would all love when it came to the drink menu and ambiance. So glad we came across Burleson. Super cute little place inside and out with plenty of seating. Service was quick. Ordered some chili cheese fries that were yummy and some drinks. I'd say the Margarita was on the stronger side..which isn't bad! But it tasted like 95% alcohol,5% the flavor you ordered.(but maybe it was just that day) . Also had some table top games spread around.. like connect four and so on. DJ played some music that I think resonated well with the younger crowd and older ones. Cool place and a good time.

Yelp
We came here for St. Patrick's day with family. It's hidden but very nicely decorated. The atmosphere was relaxed, I particularly loved their food. Margaritas are not my first pick but my nephew recommended them, they were too strong to enjoy the taste. It was a busy night and our first time there as well, we walked up to a long line to place our orders. When we finally reached the front the bartender looked and sounded a little frustrated. Her customer service can use a little refreshing. Be careful when placing your order there is a tree root sticking out which tripped many people including myself. Overall I would return solely for the food not so much their drinks
google avatar

Bruce B.

Yelp
FLIES EVERYWHERE. Also, weak pour & super sugary margarita mix. Might as well be street-side lemonade.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place for watching sports, great live music and their food truck sells amazing burgers!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice chill place, but come on Burelson, let's upgrade the kids play area??? Workin parents come here to chill and RELAX, but sheesh this playground is rough!!
google avatar

Robby L.

Yelp
This was my first time at this establishment and I will be back. They have a great selection of craft beers as well as some delicious burgers that are made in their food truck. I got the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and they are made to order so they are as fresh as can be. Fries had the perfect crunch as did the tator tots. We sat outside and the oscillating fans made a huge difference cooling on a summer night in August. It would be great if they could sync/time them so they flowed in a way you didn't have to wait several seconds for the refreshing air to be blown back towards you. Can't wait to be back.

Yelp
Great outdoor venue for socially distanced drinks and food. My friend ordered 5 different beers, ranging from IPAs to sours, and they were all delicious! Our second round included frozen margaritas - my personal favorite was the prickly pear, though the mango was enjoyable as well. The menu was short and sweet, but the Korean bbq wings were spicy and delicious, and the fries were exceptionally crispy and hot. I was impressed. Great atmosphere and crowd in the evening, and a band was playing live music all throughout. It was a bit loud for my taste, but still possible to hold a conversation. Would definitely return again!
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
Came here with some friends and this place was awesome! Lots of open seating for good social distancing. Dog and kid friendly. Areas for games and even a playground. There is a stage for live music and when we visited the one man band was great.
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
One of the few breweries that is dog friendly (inside and outside) & has great frozen margaritas!
google avatar

Yelp
amazing the outside space is awesome. the food was perfect. the service was unmatched

Yelp
One of my favorite places downtown. Relaxed atmosphere, good food & great drinks. Always friendly service. Great for early family dinner or late date night.

Yelp
After a fun evening at CineFestival, my friend and I went looking for a night cap to end our adventure. After Siri once again failed us, we found Burleson Yard Beer Garden, and I was instantly won over when they said they can make my go-to drink, the Old Fashioned, with my favorite bourbon, Buffalo Trace. After we ordered we took to the pet friendly patio, which despite the no smoking sign, allowed smoking. (Much to my friend's relief) We proceeded to spend an hour or so talking, smoking, and nursing our drinks on the colorful and relaxing patio. This is a great spot to bring a group of friends, or have some quality time with your significant other, or in my case, just enjoy a friend's company.
google avatar

Kelli J.

Yelp
Such a cute place - great for when the weathers nice and you wanna relax and grab a drink outside. They also have indoor seating. Like the name suggests they have an extensive beer list. They also have wine but no liquor. The frozen margs are wine based and seemed too be a hit amongst the crowd. I tried the canned rosè - $12 enough for 2 glasses. Nothing fancy about the place but overall a good time. Also good for kids!

Yelp
First time coming here was for a friends birthday gathering. It's actually a nice spot to grab a drink. I guess it's good I waited so long to make it out to the beer garden because parking must have been terrible before. Luckily for me the parking situation is fixed and I had no trouble finding a parking spot around 8:30 pm. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I thought the lay out and design was nice. While it's more of an outdoor place they still were able to not have it look like a dingy back yard patio. We hung out outside luckily it was a great evening. It was a Saturday night and they had a Dj play some hits and throwbacks. We even stepped out on the makeshift dance floor and the dj was quick to take it back to '99 with back that a** up. Drinks are bit pricey but luckily for me I didn't pay for them :p I got the watermelon margarita and I think it was like $9.25 at least it wasn't a weak drink though.
google avatar

Josiah G.

Yelp
Live music outside and plenty of seating. Very dive bar feel. The burgers are actually not bad and the tater tots are crispy. Suggestions- Covered outdoor seating available if its raining Moose Out
google avatar

Melanie O.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday when they had a vegan market going on and really enjoyed ourselves! They have plenty of seating inside and outside and a good selection of beers on tap. We stayed inside and felt like it was quiet enough to have a conversation despite how busy it was and if you like the louder atmosphere, they had a DJ outside.

Yelp
Love Burleson. IF Mother Nature is bring fear this is the perfect place to sit out hanging out with friends enjoying a few drinks is and playing Somme games. I think how it's also a family friendly place with a fenced in outdoor area and play scape for kids
