What started as a truck known for craveable fried chicken and Juicy Lucy burgers now also anchors a gluten‑friendly brick‑and‑mortar—without abandoning the truck circuit. Highlighted by Restaurant Hoppen and noted by Grow Omaha for its expansion, it’s beloved for celiac‑safe fryers and big flavors.

**New Favorite** They advertise Gluten-free! Walked in to order from the counter, was skeptical! I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich on a gluten-free Bun! It was amazingly scrumptious, crispy, hint of spice & yumminess! Crispy Breaded Chicken that's Gluten-free!!!!!!!!! Others ordered the Korean chicken sandwich & fish sandwich! Also Gluten-free goodness! They must change their menu for season as the cashier told us it was the last day for the fish sandwich. I will be going to their website to see if they post new menu items! They also have burgers! And the Twisted fries were great too. Prices for just the sandwich might be considered high for some people but we think it is SO worth it! You must try! Best sandwich ever!!! Can't wait to go back and try another flavor! 😋

Sandwiches were ready really good! Honey mustard sandwich and Nashville hot chicken. Fried pickles were consistently breaded. Yum yum sauce was excellent, on recommendation from staff. Zesty white sauce was really good too! Napkin dispenser and refuse bin needed a little tidiness, otherwise 5 stars across the board!

As someone that became gluten free a couple years ago, I worried I would never taste good fried chicken again. Burning Bridges absolutely blew my mind! The chicken and pickle chips are so fresh and crispy. Both are intensely flavorful, and the sauces perfectly compliment them. The breading stays on the tender chicken and you can see the chicken is covered in seasonings. I have brought multiple people who aren’t gluten free here, and they have always said it is perhaps the best fried chicken they’ve ever had. I have been going to Burning Bridges since it was only a food truck and have always been happy with the service. Highly recommend!!!

Enormous chicken sandwiches! Nashville hot is just the right amount of spice that keeps building. Korean and honey BBQ are great too! They use Piedmontese beef for hamburgers. Super sad we can't find the food truck anymore, but happy to enjoy the sandwiches at a brick and mortar

Very good chicken sandwiches. Honey BBQ was delicious (the one with the purple cabbage on top), and I was told the Nashville Chicken was very good (the other one pictured). Be warned, however, that the chicken patty is large and saucy so the bottom bun may be soggy and the chicken may spill out of the bun a bit. But that makes it worth it. Good chicken, good sauce, good sandwich, good fries. The pickle chips… I guess if they’re your thing, you may like them, but it was my first time trying them, and they didn’t have as much of a pickle crunch as I was expecting and then after eating the sandwich, they just reminded me too much of cooked squash to enjoy. So try at your own risk. It also would have been nice to get more fries for the price, but it wasn’t bad for a local restaurant. Overall very good and I would recommend. I’m not gluten free, but I was impressed that the breading was gluten free (and still tasted good), and they had a gluten-free bun option.

Honestly so excited to try this place as a person who is gluten free! I feel so sad to say that the food fell flat… I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was disappointing. The chicken was pretty chewy, the breading however was awesome. The fried pickles were pretty good for the first couple of bites, while the breading was pretty non existent the pickles just turned to mush pretty quick. We also had the double burger which was probably the best thing we ate along with the fries. I think I’m also missing the hype with the zesty white sauce and their version of ranch wasn’t much better… I love the concept of offering gluten free options especially with the hot fried chicken hype but unfortunately this place was a one and done for me.

I have been telling my wife how much I want to find a REAL authentic homemade chicken sandwich. Not these other places’ fast food chicken sandwiches. A couple weeks ago I heard about Burning Bridges being awesome. My wife and I had an appointment out in the Oakview area and we stopped in for lunch. Absolutely delicious! Best chicken sandwich in Omaha. I had the standard one and my wife had the hot and spicy. Great food! We will be back.

I was really excited to go here my friend had amazing things to say about it! I however was very disappointed. I got their regular GF chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got their Korean burger. He was not very impressed with the burger, said something about the sauce needing more vinegar (he likes his vinegar though!) The chicken on the GF chicken sandwich was good but there was only pickles on the sandwich, it was supposed to come with a sauce, which i requested on the side. They didnt give me the side of sauce and when we went to get some after they gave us our meal they charged us $1 to get sauce. I understand needing to up change for somethings but thats crazy. I asked for ranch and had to pay a full $1! On top of that there's no sauces out on the counters it's just whatever they give you. If you wanted fries you had to pay extra for them. I did get the pickle chips...they were soggy and barely had any breading on them (they didnt come with sauce either). Anyway to go back to the chicken sandwhich...the most disappointing thing about it besides not getting sauce was the fact that there was no lettuce or tomatoes!!!!!!!! Save your money and make it at home with rice panko lol.

Yelp
Attention all gluten-free people! I just went to Burning Bridges and I actually had a fried chicken sandwich. It was great. It was like actual fried chicken maybe a touch crispy. They use beef tallow to fry things. It was really good...great. Even the bun was good. It is such a relief to have something gluten-free and not have to adapt to the flavor or the texture. This place is on 144th St. where Feta's be. It's clean. The staff were nice.I had the fried chicken sandwich with french fries. My husband had a cheeseburger with fries and it was good. The cheeseburger was small for the price. Other than that everything was great. They have a small menu and I would say half of it is gluten-free. Thank you so much!

Yelp
I had burning bridges as a food truck and now the new restaurant storefront, and I'm still blown away by this place! The space has a wide variety of seating inside the restaurant. I would say it has the atmosphere of a nicer fast food space (like chipotle, pepperjacks, etc.). There was a little bit of a wait when we went, as they were on the busier side. We placed our order and were given a buzzer for when our food was ready. We didn't have to wait long, but did decide to take our food to go. The sandwich was AMAZING! It was perfectly crispy and the sauce was delicious. I haven't had a decent gluten free chicken sandwich in so long, so this was such a treat. The bun was SOFT ladies and gentleman, and it wasn't falling apart like other gluten free buns. My boyfriend doesn't have celiac and even he said it was one of the best chicken he's ever had, and you wouldn't be able to tell it's gluten free. The pickles had such a delicious dilly taste to it, and had more pickle to breading (which I loved). Only downside is the breading for the pickles started to fuse together by the time we got home, so may be better fresh once you get them. Overall we highly recommend this place whether you are gluten free or not. You're in for a tasty experience at every visit!

Yelp
Helloooooo attention everyone: you need this!!!!! Not only is it amazing fried chicken, but it's GLUTEN FREE fried chicken. It was wonderfully crispy, juicy, flavorful, and tender. The Nashville hot chicken is fried to perfection and mega sauced. Prepared to get messy in the best of ways. They do not skimp on the zesty white sauce- which is a creamy sauce with a hint of horseradish. They use Rotella buns- the regular buns are soft, and the gluten free buns were perfect for this kind of sandwich. It was a solid bun that didn't crumble or get too soggy. The Nashville flavoring is the perfect level of hot that complements the pickles and zesty sauce well. Don't forget about the awesome curly fries, gluten free fried pickles, and the homemade ranch. The host was very friendly and the service was quick. 10/10.

Yelp
Closed early. It is so hard to find a good glute free restaurant that isn't Mexican. I was in town dropping a relative off and I was really looking forward to trying this place out when I learned about it off of a search. Guess I'll have to take my money to the Qdoba.

Yelp
The food was tasty and all entries can be made Gluten free. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich on a GF bun - delicious

Yelp
Can't get enough of the Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches and twister fries! Love that they use thigh meat! So moist and melty! Service is always pleasant, but be prepared to wait a little bit for the made to order meals.
