Wonderful Brewery. Definitely check multiple sources for current tap list, their website was completely wrong on our visit. Good Prices. Friendly Staff. Relaxing Atmosphere. Good selection of books to read. Beautiful Artwork. Overall a great place to enjoy a tasty beer.

Hubby and I love beer and love supporting craft breweries (actual craft breweries not those purchased by mega corps) and love going to new-to-us breweries. This Sat, we decided a bike ride down the Platte River trail with stops would be "quality time" spent. We tasted most of their beers but skipped styles we don't love or ones with a high gravity (we do have to bike home!). For us that was sampling 7 beers today. Burns Family did not disappoint! Each beer was distinct and true to the flavor profiles as described on the menu. The space was eclectic with multiple rooms, seating variations and lots of art showcased. I think there was more art than usual (lucky us!). The owners were enthusiastic, welcoming and down to earth! I really appreciated them wanting to highlight local food businesses without taking business away from them. The brewery is not in the middle of an entertainment district so more a destination. You'd be doing a disservice to your beer-loving self if you don't seek this place out and give it a try! I hope the pictures and review do this place justice!

Burns Family Artisan Ales is not only one of my favorite breweries in Colorado, but they are one of my favorites across the country! In my opinion, they are making some of the best beers I have ever had, especially with their high alcohol specialty beers! They have been amazing to watch grow and develop over the last 4 years and I have been fortunate enough to know them as a customer, supplier, friend, and artist over the years! They have been kind enough to house a collection of my art on their walls for customers to enjoy which has been such an amazing honor as an artist as well! Wayne and Laura are two of the greatest brewers, owners, and friends anyone could ask for and the family vibe in the brewery is second to none! I cannot recommend this brewery enough and I know you will thoroughly enjoy the beers, the environment, and the friends you make by stopping in!

The passion and commitment from both owners is so readily apparent in both the barrelhouse space and in their interactions with me. These people love beer, and if you love beer then you should go here. Probably more than once, if you can swing it. Whether you're an enthusiastic beer enjoyer, an industry professional with a taste for some of the most technical and intentional beers in the world, or somewhere in between, you're going to have a great time. There is none of the menu colonization by IPAs, trendy dessert beers, or seasonal offerings that is all too prevalent in the modern American beer scene that makes picking a location to suit different beer drinkers so difficult. At Burns Family locations, those things are present in single offerings on a balanced and storied menu. There is a beer for everyone here, and the staff will enthusiastically and knowledgeably help everyone pick out their best pairing. If you're in Denver and you have time to go to one place, please make it this one. You will not regret it.

Fantastic beers and incredibly good people!! Really enjoyed our time with Wayne & Laura, and wanted to thank them for making us feel at home. Colorado is lucky to have this one!!! Can’t wait to return on our next trip from NC.

Wonderful brewery in an unassuming location. Tried 3 of their barrel aged stouts and they were all fantastic. You can tell these guys know what they are doing and their praise on Google/Untappd is well deserved!

Wee little brewery with a lot on tap. Bigger on the inside, there's some seating in front of the bar, and then a whole room off to the left that looks perfect for board games or silent reading clubs.

Best brewery I’ve been to in a while. The beers are SO delicious. I recommend the Belgian quad and the tick tick tickin. They have board and card games that you can use and you can sit where you want.
