Burnside Collision

These people!!! I am so pleased and grateful for what they did for me. The trim around my front wheel well has been damaged for years and just barely hanging on. I have a Nissan Pathfinder I love that’s almost 30 years old and I knew it would cost a fortune to replace even in the unlikely event they were able to find a replacement part (because of the age of my truck, most parts are no longer available). On a whim, I pulled into Burnside Collision just to see what they could do. George and Mark figured they could work with the existing trim and fix the bent metal attachment and heat meld some other attachment point and then they only charged me $70 and also fixed some other scratches on the front bumper near the tire well just because. Who does that!?! And they were so nice about it and clearly just wanted to make me happy, which they did in abundance. And THEN, I asked George if he had any ideas for replacing my ripped spare tire cover that has the Pathfinder logo on it since Nissan no longer stocks it and the aftermarket ones I found are not the same design as my original one. So George calls his “guy” Anthony at Tailored Auto Styling and they discuss solutions over the phone and George sends me to Anthony to replicate the design on a tire cover I ordered from Amazon and Anthony is only charging me $50 to do it. And then George also gives me a referral to get my truck detailed after I asked him for his suggestions. Everyone through this process has been so helpful and I am so grateful to George. It’s rare to receive customer service at this level these days from people who are so skilled, take such pride in their work and are fully committed to being as helpful as possible. I couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend Burnside Collision. Thanks, Mark and George!!!

Best auto body shop in Portland, taken my car to three out here so far and this one is by far the best. Best body work and paint repair I've seen and they will fight the insurance agencies for you. Can't recommend them enough. George is also fantastic to work with and will take great care of your car!

WOW! I am seriously so blown away by this place. I got into a fender bender and didn't have collision insurance coverage, so I was dreading paying out of pocket. These kind and amazing men took the time to take what really should have been a $2,000 fix down to $875. They took time to order used replacement parts that matched my car's paint so I wouldn't have to repaint, and they were honest about which parts of my car really needed to be replaced and which could be reused. I will absolutely, without a doubt, come back here if I ever need another collision repair and I highly recommend that other people do the same!

I have a 1997 bmw 328is with 80k miles on it. Which is impossible to find parts for. Progressive wanted to total my car for a very minor incident. These guys were 100% with getting this Gem fixed. They very much did what they said should be possible. To the point of straight up Genius.. in Detail. Mark and George = A Genius twice. Absolute Impeccable Service.

george, mark and stephanie all did a wonderful job taking care of my car. i was t boned 5 months ago and even with how busy they were at burnside collision, they still worked hard on my car and gave me compassionate and professional service. my car was in the shop for a bit but i know they were working as fast as able given that so many parts are on back order these days, the girl who hit me's insurance (allstate) was challenging to work with and they have a full shop right now. even when i came to pick up my car, they went above and beyond, doing things not even on the contract request like patching my tire and taking off a bumper sticker i didn't like. also the inside was cleaned and detailed a quite a bit more than they needed to, which was a nice treat. take your car to them, but know, like many shops these days it'll be a wait, but please be courteous and nice to them because they are all hard workers and caring people.

Went in because my window came off its track. Guy said, “are you sure it’s off its track?” I said, “I dunno, but it won’t roll up anymore”. I know nothing. Guy pulls off the panel and notices that a screw fell off. Puts it back on, adds a little grease, tests it, replaces the panel, tells me I’m all set, no payment necessary. The whole thing took 15 minutes, during which he’s giving me interesting anecdotes about the manufacturing history of my car’s make & model & parts. Such a great experience! At the end, mostly because I felt bad getting off for free when I’d been prepared to spend hundreds of dollars, I ask what it would cost to repair some cosmetic dents in my doors & fender and he says “too much”. Goes on to explain how it would likely run into the thousands because it’s on multiple panels, paint, etc, and it wouldn’t add much value to the car. “Just drive it into the ground,” he said. When I think of honesty & integrity, I think of interactions like this, which I didn’t think happened in real life anymore. I feel lucky to be in the same city as this place, let alone the same neighborhood. Can’t recommend highly enough. Please note: this was a VERY quick & easy fix, and I lucked out to catch them during a slow time. Please do not come here expecting free service!

Amazing job. Did extra things like clearing out a small animal nest under the hood for better airflow. I didn't expect the care they took with all the parts they removed and gave back in case my son wanted to sell them. Customization is difficult and expensive but these guys truly care !!!

These guys are the best! I had to have a new bumper installed and painted on my Honda Odyssey. They were able to fit me in and it was done right the first time! Thank you for the excellent customer service and beautiful repair!
