Best Restaurants in Plano | Eater Dallas

"This spot is all about combining Texas barbecue with the flavors of Venezuela, Colombia, and Native Americans. The portions are large, so order accordingly. The Navajo fry bread taco and the pulled pork are worth trying. Visit on Taco Tuesday to buy one and get the second half off, and the arepas are a must-order. Like any good barbecue spot, this one keeps it simple with unfinished cement floors and bare-bones tables — and since it is in the ‘burbs, there is plenty of parking out front." - Didi Paterno

Texas-style brisket is a whole vibe. If you're a fan of Texas-style BBQ, you absolutely have to try Burnt Ends BBQ. I ordered the brisket, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly tender, with that smoky flavor you crave, and the bark was on point—crispy and flavorful without overpowering the natural richness of the beef. Each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The portion sizes were generous too, so you won’t leave hungry! Not to mention, the atmosphere was just as great as the food. The service was friendly and attentive. Do not wait on trying this place! GO NOW Note: the chips shown came from my own kitchen

I first heard of Burnt from Yelp recommending it to me, but then I started hearing others tell me about how amazing Burnt was, so I couldn't wait any longer and went immediately. It was hard to find as the front of the building is partly covered by a tree and it simply says BURNT in black letters on the stucco. If you aren't looking for it you will miss it. The digital menus line the wall over the small register. They are very clear to read and understand and if you want something in-hand, they have paper folded menus on the counter to peruse too. I had come for the tacos and decided to try the Coffee Grind Brisket taco, Roasted Garlic Pulled Pork and the BG Pork Belly Burnt Ends taco. I got them all on corn tortillas & with no crema or cojita. Sometimes when I remove dairy options from an item it changes it entirely, but these tacos were still hefty portions (see image) and packed plenty of taste. The Burnt Ends taco was my favorite, my hubby who stole a few bites agreed. The Coffee Grind Brisket was too dry for my liking, but it was still good. I also added a small side of mac & cheese for my son, who loves all things mac & cheese. He really enjoyed it. I will absolutely be back and next time I am brining the whole family!

Google
The pork belly burnt ends were divine. Asked for the fatty brisket and was moist and a good seasoning. I just wish the ribs were a bit meatier and more moist. Service was very good.

Google
Amazing BBQ with an added flair of spices and excitement for my taste buds. Also Venezuelan foods as well. We got the sampler and enjoyed every bite.

Google
This was a different experience in that, there was a mixture of foods, nevertheless, it was great. As you can tell by the title, there were tacos and BBQ, you could find Indian food and burgers, so that was good. The Sample Platter was $49 which I wanted to get but my wife thought we should try our own foods, and it was just me, her and our son. When the bill was rung up, it was $50 after taxes. That was only objection. I look at the overall experience and if it wasn't for the price, I would be very satisfied. Nevertheless, my overall rating is still a 5 because the service we received was great. The gentleman that took our order was the owner and the lady that brought out our food came back to follow-up to see how everything tasted. Google
Burnt BBQ & Tacos offers a flavorful fusion of barbecue and Venezuelan dishes. Highlights include the brisket, wings, street corn, and lamb stew—all delicious! The Venezuelan lemonade is a refreshing drink. Haven't tried the tacos yet, but we enjoyed the brisket baked potato and brisket arepas. While the brisket was flavorful, it can lean toward dryness, so opt for the fatty or mixed cut if you prefer a moist texture. Overall, a great spot!

Google
We found this place by accident, a very happy accident! 😛🤤 We had brisket fries, and 4 different kinds of tacos, including one with bacon burnt ends! Amazing. 5 Stars all the way!!!

Google
The wings were smoky and crispy. We highly recommend the potato salad and coleslaw. Both were fresh with unique flavor. The menu has lots of selection. Something for everyone!

Yelp
The food was amazing!! The service was outstanding. They bring out your food came to the table twice to see if everything was okay and if you needed anything. The desserts looked yummy however I was full. They do have Togo boxes if needed. It's a small hidden GEM. It's very clean. My husband went to the men's room and said dam the restroom was spotless. I had the Burnt Sandwich Meal Topped with our house made pickles, pickled red onions, jalapeno citrus slaw (SOS), and BBQ sauce in between our signature Texas toast, it was delicious and filling. My husband had the 2+1 Meal he had the smoked brisket and smoked chicken. The brisket was tender and juicy our side was Mac n cheese. We also tried the Coffee Grind Brisket tacos Flour tortilla, avocado lime crema, cotija, pico, BBQ sauce, cilantro & lime. Can't say nothing but great things about this Burnt bbq and Tacos. We will be back

Yelp
When in Texas you've gotta eat some barbecue and tacos! Combining them is a winning combination!! Found in a strip mall in Plano one can tell this was a very popular place to eat. Locals and tourists alike flock and long line to order. Service was super quick and so friendly! Dined here with my family and there was not a clean face or hands while dining in and that's a good sign! Sampler platter was delicious. My favorite: burnt brisket ends! I have yet to eat at a terrible barbecue place in Texas! Good hefty side sizes and ample seating inside.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this place was pretty disappointing, overall. I hate to leave this review given that it seems like a small family run business, but I am always honest with reviews. Note: I tried the multiple meat platter and didn't try any tacos or anything like that other than meat itself. Their brisket slices were quite thin and also very dry. As soon as any BBQ is dry, it's just automatically bad by default. Nothing more needs to be said. Even dousing it with sauce couldn't save the dryness. Speaking of the sauce, it wasn't great. The spicy wasn't spicy and just generally, it did not stand out. SOME parts of some of the burnt ends were really good and some of it was thick, tough, and dry as a bone. So the burnt ends were both good and bad, depending. The sausage was mediocre. Not very flavorful, but it was at least moist. It wasn't good nor bad. I'll put it this way, I bought some Johnsonville sausage from Kroger and BBQd it on a public charcoal grill and it came out juicier and just as flavorful, if not more, than the sausage I had here. The Cole slaw was very underwhelming. That is the only side I tried, so can't speak for the rest. The one thing I did enjoy completely was the pulled pork . It was juicy, moist, and well seasoned; didn't need much at all. For everything else, I could've used some salt at the table, which should never be necessary at a good Texas BBQ joint. Not trying to be overly nitpicky, but even the Texas toast and the pickled condiments that came with it seemed lacking/cheap. Although, this is a minor point. I was not a fan of most of what I ate here. My fiance had the same opinion, cept she didn't even like the pulled pork. She liked the burnt ends more than me. I hope this place improves in the future. It seems like a place that was maybe good at one time, then fell off and the hype wore off. Edit: lower to 1 star for bitter and unprofessional reply from owner, when I'm just giving constructive criticism and being honest. Shows he's sensitive and not open to change. Stubborn.

Yelp
We decided to give this place a try as we were in the area as intrigued by the concept of BBQ and tacos. They have a pretty good menu from your basic BBQ plates with traditional sides with the added twist of various tacos and elote. I had to try the Navajo fry bread taco (comes with your choice of meat) and I was glad I did. I will say it is more of an open faced taco on delicious fry bread. I ordered mine with the brisket and it was pretty good. The burnt beans are very flavorful and though my brisket was a bit on the dryer side, I thought it went will with the fry bread. Hubby got the two meat plate with brisket and pork belly burnt ends which were both very tasty. He also really liked the potato salad (and he is picky about his potato salad!). The inside is small yet cute and cozy with about 6-8 tables to dine in. It has the family owned charm and the service was great. We would definitely return.

Yelp
Nice little family owned BBQ spot with a twist! It was hit and miss for me. BBQ with Spanish flair! The pork belly taco was my favorite, with a good blend of lime acidity along side the perfectly cooked pork belly. The sliced brisket I received was too dry for my taste, but the chopped brisket in the Navajo Fried Bread was moist and flavorful. The menu had a lot of stuff I wanted to try so I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
This place has been on the map for quite some time now and somehow I am just discovering it?! If you are looking for a good BBQ spot serving it up with creative flair you should enjoy this place. I was pleasantly surprised with the brisket mac. Portions are HUGE. Split it with fam and they loved it too. We also got the potato salad which was just alright. But rich with a lot of fresh and yummy ingredients if you are a potato salad lover. On a whim tried the sopapilla cheesecake and just WOW! Decadence all around. Great for to go and love the durable packaging they use for takeout orders. Glad they have made their presence known in Plano! It's crave able for sure. And a guilty pleasure. I'll be back soon.

Yelp
Found this place randomly so didn't really know what to expect. I figured it would be something like Hurtados since it read bbq and tacos. Instead I found a normal nothing extraordinary bbq joint that has some unique taco creations. The meat itself was ok. Nothing to write home about. The menu itself reads really well with all the seasonings they but once it's served none of that seasoning stands out. The sides read well as well but again nothing stood out from anyone else. Place was good if you are in the area but I would go out of my way to get here.
google avatar

Yelp
I make sure to stop here whenever I'm near Plano. Some of the best wings I've ever had. Their other food is good too but those wings!!!

Yelp
Burnt BBQ & Taco was so good!!! It was our first time trying bbq taco! They were amazing!! The taco portion was HUGE!!! So many meat inside, and the size was surprising! I order brisket, pork belly and sausage tacos. They are definitely so good! There are huge portions of meat in each taco, the favors are so good as well. Brisket taco is my favorite. My father tried half pounds of the ribs. Ribs are good as well! Love this place! This place will definitely surprise you! The service and ambiance are good! They are friendly and nice.

Luke S.

Yelp
I enjoyed 1/2 sliced brisket and 1/2 of their Plablano sausage. Brisket was moist and perfect. Their tacos seem to be popular with other people ordering during my visit. I enjoyed a small sample of smoked pork belly. Excellent!

Yelp
A barbeque place that offers typical texas bbq fare, along with some interesting additions. Walking in, it looks like any other suburban BBQ joint, but when you look closer, this appears to be a family owned business that honros their deseaced love one with pride. The wall is used like a scrap book, holding patches, pictures, and mementos of one they clearly held dear. Its pretty easy to get full here. Whatever you decide upon, either make sure youre gonna take home leftovers, or share the meal with others. I decided upon the navajo fry bread taco with brisket. When I received it, this thing should be called a fried taco salad boat! Its so big, I had to eat it with a fork 2/3 of the way, until I could actually wrap my mouth around it. From my experience, navajo fry bread is on the thinner side. The fry bread is super thick and sturdy here, considering how much it has to hold. By no means is this a complaint, but rather an observation. The fry bread itself is still delicious in flavor and texture. The coffee rubbed brisket is pretty tasty! Granted, some of the bits are a little dry, but I dont expect freshly sliced brisket in a thing like this. The coffee rub gave it a complex, roasted taste that compliments the substantial amount of smoke the meat absorbs. Visions of dark red cherries and campfires cross my mind. The fixings like the veggies and sauces are great as well. Close to the end of the meal, I got super dehydrated and full. Even with drinking water, this thing is a beast! Overall, I was pleased with what I was served. I dont think its the best in DFW, but its a great addition to this neighborhood.

Yelp
First, the good. The brisket was good. The burnt ends were also good, as was the pulled pork. The chicken was great! Also, I liked the potato salad. My mom loved the banana pudding. The Meh: the sauce was just okay. It was a little ketchup-y. The areas for improvement. The ribs smelled a bit like lighter fluid and were a little tough. Also, the sausage was a little under cooked. I didn't like the Mac and cheese at all, as it had a funny taste. The bread included didn't taste like Texas toast, but just stale bread. But the big one was the peach cobbler; it was ice cold! We had to put it in the oven to warm it up! I might recommend this place over a chain, but not over much stronger BBQ pits.

Yelp
Good BBQ with a Mexican and Carribean Latino twist. The burnt ends with the crema were my favorite. Everything else seems like dry rub, runs a little towards dry and salty. The flavors were interesting and refreshing rom the traditional bbq. Service was excellent, people are nice and will explain some of the Spanish labeled items if asked. Ambiance very casual and served quickly. Recommend it and will be back to try the bbq inspired tacos

Cindy A.

Yelp
Today I got the "Patacun" which has fried plantain instead of bread, your choice meat (brisket!), a slab of fried (white) cheese, sauce and tomato lettuce. Really good and different. It comes with a side so added the Mexican corn which I really like. It's a small place w only 5 or 6 tables. nice people/owner.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed. I've been really excited to try this place out after reading tons of good reviews. We ordered 2 brisket tacos, a pulled pork taco, a burnt ends taco and the cup of elote. Not only did it take forever for us to get our food, everything was cold, flavorless. You'd think we would at least get lukewarm tacos for $30. If you order to go, be sure to check if your food was even warmed up before you leave. We opened our food in the parking lot because we have our dog with us and the tacos tasted like they were left out for quite some time before we got them.

Yelp
Great place. Had the brisket taco and burnt ends taco and neither disappointed, their flour tortillas were also perfection. Great service, friendly, and fast. Saw their Navajo fry bread and now I definitely need to go back when I'm extra hungry!

Yelp
Visited this little gem yesterday. Excellent service. Delicious food. Must visit! We will be back.

Yelp
The owner reached out to me after my review to apologize and to make it right for our next visit. Proper precautions have been made according to him that future orders will be packaged correctly and notes will be read and applied to each order. Customer service is just as important to me as the food, because let's face it no one is perfect and it is understandable orders will be messed up from time to time. It's how that mess up is handled that speaks volumes about the establishment. The original handling of this situation was not good, but the recovery by the owner makes me want to return for another try.

Yelp
When you're wanting bbq on a weeknight in the plano area, this is the place to go! A small shop but the menu is full and flavorful. We got a smattering of meats: 1/4 pound of BG pork belly, ribs, pulled pork, and sausage. The owner told us about the meal deal that he had which comes with 2 sides, score! The two sides we chose were the Mexican corn elotes and fries. On top of that, we had already ordered the Mac n cheese and potato salad (kids choice) We maybe had to wait several minutes to get our tray but wow, when the tray came out, everything was ready to be devoured. Neatly presented on a tray, we dived in. My favorite had to have been the pork belly and the sausage! But the highlight was actually the sides. I could have ordered a separate order of just the sides. The fries were the really thin crispy kind, you don't see that often and just seasoned right with a little salt. The Mac n cheese is the stringy cheesy kind with spiral pasta. The potato salad was chunky and the elotes... with the crumbled queso and light drizzle of hot sauce. Looks like we'll be back.

Yelp
The food was packed with flavor, the ribs are finger licking good, the pulled pork and pork belly are off the chart and loaded with flavor. Not a overly large interior but I was there for the food and cost was reasonable.

Yelp
Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Came here again for the second time. I'm happy to say that, again, did not disappoint. We got a 1/2 lb of brisket and 1/2 lb of burnt ends. The brisket was so tender and well-seasoned. The burnt ends had a good chunk of meat to them too - not just fat. Everything tasted amazing. Also, our tray came with 4 slices of bread and some pickled veggies (red onion, cucumber, etc.) For dessert, we tried the Indian Fry Bread. My friend was a huge fan. The dish resembled airier beignets (more air in the center) topped with powdered sugar and a drizzle of Blackberry Wojapi sauce (which also came on the side). Plus, there was cinnamon ice cream on the side, and, boy, was that good. Highly recommend and I hope to come back again soon!

Yelp
I went with a friend who had read about Burnt Bbq & tacos. The lady up front was very friendly and nice as was the guy in the back who came out for a few minutes. The food was good. The taco portion was a great size and I was too full for dessert even though it sounded really good. The flavored ice tea was also good. The sauce was good and it was to see that several sauces were available at the table. We both had the burnt bbq and I discovered that I really don't like burnt ends. I ate it all so please don't think it was bad. I hope we come back some time to try something else especially after reading the other reviews. It was really a nice small place and I enjoyed the time there. The service was excellent and made for a great lunch outing.

Yelp
Wow. One of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was delicious and the meat was phenomenal! A new favorite, for sure.

Brian A.

Yelp
We were in the mood for some chicken and I found this place on the Internet. We thought we would give it a try. When we went there the owner greeted us and told us how he prepared several of his dishes. We were not disappointed. My wife ordered the Arepa's Combo and I the Smoked & Fried Chicken. Both items were great. The chicken was super tasty! I highly recommend giving it a whirl!
google avatar

Catherine G.

Yelp
The best pulled pork I've ever had. It's all good, but the pulled pork is absolutely incredible.

Yelp
Good place to eat! It's a small place to eat which I enjoy! I love their arepas and tacos. They have different selection of drinks.

Yelp
Great local bbq. I love the burnt ends. Service was fast and the environment was clean

Yelp
This place should be on all foodies radar. BBQ and Tacos heck yes. So, naturally I had chicken wings. Smoked and fried with an exquisite sauce homemade by Tim the owner and chef! Perfect amount of heat and sweet. I had pork belly burnt end tacos as well. Tender, smoky flavor and toppings on point. Also sampled brisket queso. Just needed a gallon of it. I'll be back.

Yelp
Now there's one thing in this life that almost all Texas love is great BBQ; and this place has it. The inside is small (so be prepared for that if you come during a rush or with a large party) but don't let that fool you; the food makes up for its small size. Here's a breakdown of everything I tried: Brisket Queso Fries: they use skinny fries and top it with queso and brisket, I mean what more is there to say? It was a great appetizer but could easily be a quick lunch as well. Brisket: Great flavor and nice cuts of meat. Pretty standard honestly and I would say it places in the middle of BBQ places I've had (and I've had a lot). So it's not my personal favorite but by far isn't bad at all. Smoked Sausage: Well worth it. The seasoning is perfect so makes for an enjoyable experience. Pro tip is to get some of their queso and dip it in there. Pulled Pork: This place by far has my favorite pulled pork in DFW. The flavor is there and paired with their assortment of sauces it was the star of our experience. Ribs: They were tasty but again not my personal favorite but still worth a shot for those of you that love pork ribs. Sides: Pinto beans and jalapeño coleslaw. The beans really shined as a side. Some hints of spice with flavor for days. Your stomach will thank you for this. The slaw was always great. Not really spicy as the name would make you believe but is really great. Overall I highly recommend checking out this place and show them so love! I'll be back for the burnt ends and tacos on my next trip.

Yelp
Just had a super tasty meal at Burnt BBQ and Tacos, and I've got to say, their twist on tacos is genius. The BBQ is savory and well-cooked, just the way BBQ should be. The owner's super friendly and made us feel right at home. If you're visiting from out of town, this place is a must-try. Great food, great people - you can't go wrong with Burnt BBQ and Tacos. Can't wait for our next visit!
google avatar

Yelp
I would go so far as to say that this is the best barbecue I have had in Dallas. Lived here my whole life. The only place that I've had better barbecue, or at least equal to his Pappys in St. Louis. So far, the sides are hit and miss, the beans are really good. The coleslaw is OK the potato salad's a bit salty for my taste. The Navajo bread is amazing! I really hope this place makes it. Small local business. Let's support them!

Yelp
EXCELLENT BBQ Only complaint is ..... Peach Cobbler is doughy .... needs more fruit
google avatar

Cheryl R.

Yelp
BBQ was very good ... especially pork belly burnt ends. I really liked the Mexican Street Corn and the Jalapeño Citrus Slaw. They don't have their liquor license, so we got a beer free
google avatar

DeShon J.

Yelp
Ordered in on UberEats not expecting much, but this spot exceeded my expectations in every way! Mac n cheese and corn were both delicious! Burnt ends and brisket were mouthwatering! Portions were great and everything was packaged SO NEATLY and with care. Will be visiting the next time I'm out!
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
The food was good, but nothing was overwhelmingly awesome. The owner was sitting at one of the very few tables. This is not your typical bbq place.
google avatar

Shannah H.

Yelp
Really yummy option for local bbq close to our house - that's a winner! The dine in area is small, but they are set up for take out and curbside service. We tried the meats only - brisket, sausage and pulled pork. All were good, though the sausage doesn't match up to the magic of Lockhart's. The brisket was great and the pulled pork exceeded my expectations. I will definitely always choose Lockhart first for Plano bbq but I would happily go to Burnt because it's close by and really well done. (Next on my must-try list here is the Indian Fry Bread taco.)
google avatar

Julie K.

Yelp
Huge fry bread taco is a big boat taco. This place was happening with people coming in and also take out. Choose the meat for the dry bread taco, I got brisket. lots of tender brisket, tomatoes, shredded cheese, lettuce and crema. The fry bread was deee- licious. You gotta try this, it's a light, crispy, chewy bread you tear and fold and eat this taco. Don't forget the different bbq sauces to add at the table, Carolina and spicy. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
Went to visit Burnt BBQ & Tacos after learning about this new star in town. If you know me, bbq/smoked meats are my ultimate favorite meal. Who doesn't like smoked meats anyways? :) The place is small, it's not what you expect on those big, well known Q shop. It has almost have a small mom and pop shop feel. Four tables max so my future order will strictly be to-go. I had their brisket and pork belly burnt ends. Brisket has that nice touch of smoke and full of just bbq flavor while burners ends is meaty and has a good amount of fat to smoked in all the flavors while isn't overly sweet like other pork belly burnt ends I've had. Will definitely try their tacos next and get the other cut of meats they have on the menu but will surely get the burnt ends again on my next visit.

L M.

Yelp
Food and service superb!! Had the burnt ends on baked potato. It was so delish! Plenty big enough for a second meal for lunch the next day. Enjoyed it!!
google avatar

Yelp
Decent enough service but the food was missing something. Small operation with a different type of product. Worth a try.

Yelp
This is some darn good BBQ. I'm a Kansas City native & super picky about my BBQ, they nailed it. The brisket, pork belly burnt ends, sausage, pulled pork all delicious. The chicken taco was outstanding can't wait to try more tacos. The place is small & the chef is friendly. You must give this place a try!

Yelp
I was always wanting to try authentic Texas BBQ and decided to try this one on Uber Eats. Burnt BBQ far exceeded my expectations of how a brisket should feel and taste. I want to also note that they delivered my food quickly and packed it properly. On to the food review! I ordered the "Two Meat Combo" which comes with two meats, one side, BBQ sauce on the side, Texas toast, and picked relish. Meat 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Brisket - By far, the brisket is the highlight of Burnt BBQ and you CANNOT eat here without ordering this item. While having a charred exterior, the interior of the brisket is so tender that you can easily pull it apart using a plastic fork without any need for a knife. The flavor of the brisket stands on it's own but is elevated even higher when dipped into the BBQ sauce that comes on the side. Meat 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Smoked Turkey - I was initially hesitant to try this due to past experiences with turkey being dry. However, I was shown that Turkey can be tender and delicious here. I enjoyed eating the turkey with the BBQ sauce as well and making faux sandwiches with the turkey, Texas toast, and sauce. Also an excellent option if you are looking to cut down on red meats. Side ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mac & Cheese - I went with the Mac & Cheese for my one side and it was as good as expected. Corkscrew shaped pasta that seems to have been baked with a generous amount of cheese, gooey and provides a perfect contrast to the meat. Dessert ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Banana Pudding - Delicious ending to a filling meal. This pudding is filled with pieces of cake and banana of course, it's also only $4! However, I must note that it is very sweet so I would avoid this if you can't handle overly sweet food. Overall, I would say that Burnt BBQ is a great option for trying real Texas BBQ and I would definitely come back here to try their tacos.

Yelp
Small town gem in the middle of Plano. Absolutely delicious food, very quick, friendly service. As a first responder family I also appreciate the obvious support there as well. The brisket was moist and flavorful enough that I didn't use sauce at all, the potato salad was delicious and tasted like you had made it at home in your kitchen. My husband had the sausage and pulled pork which he said was delicious as well. Overall, a place we'll come back to time and again, well worth it! We also loved that the menu wasn't the same cookie cutter list that you see in almost every BBQ restaurant, having the unique offerings set this apart for us.

Yelp
I really liked this little place a lot. Food was quick and delicious, service was friendly. I had the fry bread sandwich with brisket and hubs had some pulled pork and burnt ends. Mac and cheese was good too. It's out of the way for us, so it won't be a regular spot, but so glad we got to try it.

Yelp
So we stumbled on this place while searching Yelp. The food was fantastic! The service was amazing! We arrived and we were greeted with a smile. They took our order and the food arrived very quickly. The coleslaw was perfect. Just a bit spicy, crunchy and flavorful. The taco's were great but the Navajo bread is the trophy! The bread was chewy yet crisp as well the avocado crema was the perfect sauce. The lettuce and the brisket was the perfect combination. His was a perfect lunch and I will definitely return.

Yelp
I thought I've been to every single bbq plus in the Dallas area until I stumbled apon this place. So yes I've been to at 50 bbq places. This place is, okay.... The meats where lukewarm and not much flavor or smoke..? The sides and desserts are what truly gave it the theee stars. The beans where a A, elote was a B+, butttt the fry bread was a A++. I didn't try any of the tacos but a few other people there where eating every last bit of them so maybe next time I will try them. The menu here is quite big they serve good drinks and it's a quite small indoor location great for a calmer vibe.

Yelp
Ordered brisket, burnt ends and potato salad. It was just ok. My idea of BBQ is Blacks. This was mediocre.

Yelp
I'm not sure if there's new management or not. The first time I came, I think the owner came out and talked with me and my friend. Nice guy. This last time I came, was a Saturday night for pickup. Ordered my food to go and watched a group who ordered 5 minutes AFTER me get their food first. When I mentioned it to the server (older thin man), he looked at me like I was wrong for mentioning that ("umm, ok, I'm working on it"). He then comes out, asks for the name on the order, and goes to the rack where the GrubHub/doordash orders are and says "it's right here", with the MOST stank attitude, like I should have known. No one called the order name out. No one said anything. Not even the young man at the counter who took my order. What's worse.... THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT MY SIDES IN THE BAG!!!! I had to come back to pick up my half empty sides. Couldn't even be bothered to fill the container up. The brisket was fantastic.... Everything else was subpar. Ribs and wings were incredibly salty. It was SO much different then the first time I came, but if you're going to treat customers like that, I'm positive I'm not the only one who won't be back again. Ever. So disappointed with how I was treated.
