Burnt Orange

Tried to book a table here on my last trip two years ago and I did not succeed. Fast forward two years, I booked a while in advance and just had one of the most stunning dinner experiences of my life. Fusion Middle Eastern influenced food, incredible cocktails all matched by equally as good, if not better service from Leo and Andy and the rest of the team and all at very competitive prices. Well done! We will surely be back.

Booked here for a work dinner as a group of 5 while we were stopping over in Brighton. It was incredible! The food was amazing and definitely a highlight of the tour we were doing! Staff were excellent and the food was incredible. Served on smaller plates, we thought it mightn’t be enough but with the level of flavours and richness of each dish, everyone was full. I will definitely go back next time I’m in Brighton.

We tried the Experience Menu at Burnt Orange, and it was absolutely delicious! The starters, mains, and sides were all packed with flavour, and each dish felt thoughtfully prepared and so enjoyable to eat. We also ordered the steak as an extra, and it was well worth it. Perfectly cooked and so tender, I was so excited to dig in that I completely forgot to take a photo! The atmosphere was great, the service was lovely, and overall, it was such a memorable experience. Can’t wait to go back again!

Very good restaurant about ten minutes walk from Brighton Railway Station and a couple of minutes from the seafront. We were there for lunch and shared five dishes including spiced calamari, miso aubergine and roast stone bass, all of which were excellent. We also had a couple of glasses of very good wine. We were seated at the counter and could watch the cooking in the very well organised small kitchen. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were on a day trip down from our home in London and we'll be back!

My partner and I had a spectacular meal here last night to celebrate our anniversary. The Experience menu was absolutely delicious and the perfect amount of food for two people. The waiter helped us choose a wine to go with it which was also lovely. Our highlights were the bass which was light and perfectly cooked, the miso aubergine, and the potatoes. They gave us complimentary truffles for our special occasion. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant if you want a high end dining experience with friendly staff and lovely atmosphere in Brighton.

I was here on a hot weekend and it was busy but the staff were unphased by that. The food was really good, we had the experience menu (which is a selection of everything) and there wasn't a bad dish. What really pushed this place from good to great was the exceptional staff, I couldn't fault them. Well done, I will be back.

i was so excited when i scored a last minute dinner reservation for this spot! initially the cocktails drew me in, but the food was the star. some favorites were the aubergine, sea bream, cauliflower, mozzarella and chicken thighs. the prawns were just okay (dry and messy), skirt steak was pricey and i’m not sure i’d get it again as it didn’t wow me. for dessert we had the mousse and custard tart. the mousse was good! but overall desserts felt one dimensional. overall really great meal.

Wow what an amazing experience we had at Burnt Orange. The food was outstanding and the service really welcoming and friendly. We decided to go A La Carte and try quite a few dishes….. they were all amazing! I would love to have tried all the dishes on the menu but will have to wait for my next visit. Our dishes were the harissa roasted parsnips, aubergine with crispy onions, Seabass with yoghurt dressing, sardines with fennel on bread, heritage carrots….. and the fantastic dark chocolate mouse with backlava crumb. Everything was 10/10
