The 13 Best Cookies In London - London - The Infatuation

"Snapping one of Bake Street’s crème brûlée cookies in half is just as satisfying as eating it. The burnished exterior mimics its crème brûlée namesake, making for a pleasing ASMR crack and super sugary bite. Inside, it's creamy and gooey. The perfect post-burger dessert at this Hackney brunch spot. Just arrive early before they sell out." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager

After teaching my yoga class, I wandered into Burnt Amber in Hackney Wick for a late brunch, and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise. I had their avocado toast with poached eggs and a matcha latte with coconut milk. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was peaceful, light-filled, and relaxed, just what I needed after class. What I also really appreciated was how laptop-friendly the space is. There are plugs available, and the vibe is quiet enough to take a call or get some work done without feeling rushed. If you’re in Hackney Wick, whether you’re coming from a yoga class or just looking for a nourishing brunch or a calm space to work, I highly recommend checking this place out. It’s a little gem that deserves some love. Thank you, Burnt Amber. I’ll be back soon.

I had such an incredible time at the All East Points Festival at Victoria park yesterday, but what truly made the experience special was my visit to Burnt Umber, right beside Victoria Park! The atmosphere is one of a kind warm, vibrant, and beautifully designed. The customer service was outstanding, every staff member was genuinely passionate about creating a great experience. The food is absolutely delicious and served so quickly! The best chai latte and pancakes if genuinely ever had! You can really taste the love and care in their homemade dishes. 10000% recommend Burnt Umber for anyone looking to add a little joy to their busy day!

Wanted to try something different so picked here and came over from Islington. Loved it. I live part time in Slovenia so was delighted to see a Balkan Breakfast on the menu. Looked lovely, tasted great (the sausages were superb but the Balkan in me missed some čevapi!) The coffee was great, the staff were friendly to me and my dog. Definitely recommend 👍🏻👌🏻

Popped in at lunch time, but had seen an evening menu, wonderful guy said no problem! Yeh! The chef made us a steak, OMG flavours, perfectly grilled vegetables and succulent fried potatoes. The Picpoul de Pinet was ice cold!! Give these guys 10 stars. We will be back , thank you !

We hired Burnt Umber to cater an event for a staff event at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Ivana and Jaro are professional and friendly - we would absolutely recommend hiring them for your event. They were helpful in providing a menu that would suit the different dietary requirements of our staff and were easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all.
