Casual restaurant offering sushi, ramen and other Japanese comfort foods, plus bubble tea.
"After Kat put Burosu on our Openings Guide last week, I realized it had been a minute since I’d had a good bowl of ramen, so I decided to check them out. Needless to say, I found what I was looking for - and more. Located on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, Burosu does both hot and cold appetizers (the spicy shrimp wontons are a standout) and even some temaki, but the reason you’re here is the ramen. I ordered the spicy Reddo, which is made with Japanese chili oil and sesame paste, as well as the broth-less Orenji, but please don’t ask me which one was my favorite, because as my boyfriend will attest, I don’t have that answer. They’re both excellent, so just order both, plus anything else that looks good to you. - BC" - the infatuation los angeles crew
"We used to pour one out for the poor Valley-dwellers forced to brave traffic into the city for a decent bowl of ramen. Not after Burosu opened in November 2020, giving Studio City and everyone else from over the hill the sweet, sweet taste of ramen within a 20-minute drive. Burosu offers the plant-based Burraku and Gurin for vegans as well as the standout spicy Reddo flavored with chili oil and sesame paste." - brant cox, sylvio martins, nikko duren, garrett snyder

"Opened quietly in 2020, Burosu Ramen has quickly risen to become one of the best ramen shops in the entire Valley. The menu here is fairly big—there are both hot and cold appetizers, plus an entire handroll section—but if it’s your first time, concentrate on the house ramens. The spicy Reddo is a standout, made with Japanese chili oil and sesame paste. For something lighter, go for the brothless Orenji with marinated ground pork and red ginger. We’ve yet to pick a favorite between the two, which is why we just order both and take the leftovers home." - Brant Cox
"Located on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, this tiny shop does both hot and cold appetizers (the spicy shrimp wontons are a standout) and even some temaki, but the reason you’re here is for some of the best ramen in LA. The spicy “Reddo” is a standout, which is made with Japanese chili oil and sesame paste, as well as the broth-less “Orenji.” Please don’t ask us which one is our favorite, because it’s not possible. They’re both excellent, so just order one of each, and make the most of your lunch." - Brant Cox, Kat Hong, Arden Shore
