If you are looking for a place to eat in downtown Chicago that is clean, friendly, scrumptious, affordable, and worth your buck, then Burrito Beach is the perfect place to visit! The interior was uplifting with its bright orange and blue shades along with the comfortable seating provided. It had a lot of combinations that you could choose from, along with their homemade guacamole, tater tots, and spicy queso, which along with their other ingredients, helped cultivate some delicious burritos, tacos, and bowls! The fresh greens, the spicy salsa, and the soft tortillas all together assisted me and my family in having a great lunch at downtown, along with their friendly employees and authentic Mexican food, this place is a steal for having a great time at Chicago downtown!

I’m so happy we stumbled upon Burrito Beach! We ordered the Beach Quesadilla with steak, and it was hands down the best steak quesadilla I’ve ever had. The steak was real carne asada, cooked to perfection—not the cubed “steak” you sometimes get elsewhere. We also got a side of Guacamole & Chips, and it did not disappoint. The guacamole had a great balance of flavors, with just the right avocado-to-pico-to-lime ratio that made it fresh and delicious. We loved it so much that we ended up having lunch here twice during our week in Chicago. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out!

This is an upgraded Chipotle experience. The food was fresh and tasty and they had extra options like fish tacos. They also had good topping options.

Like Chipotle but worse in my opinion. But definitely not bad. Service was underwhelming..

Such friendly people and such delicious food that is Burrito Beach my friends. This place has a chain restaurant feel, so I was not expecting much other than filling my hungry stomach. Not only did it fill my stomach, I was licking my fingers and trying to not miss a drop of the sauces. The fish tacos 😋 mmmmm was similar to one I had in Baja sur Mexico just delicious fresh crispy and ton of flavors with fresh vegetables. What makes the experience even better is the friendly people.

This place is great. The food is fresh, and there are a lot of really good options on the menu. You can also make your own creations. I would recommend if you want a very welcome break from other chain burrito options. Try the chips and guac. It is very good! We have been a few times and really enjoyed it.

The food here was good. Nothing extraordinary, however was a good quick and easy stop for some healthy options. Service was good. Seating was very open and available.

I order two chicken Bowls on 9-29-24 one for me and my mom. As I was going to eat my food I notice long hair in my plate. I had two women on that day help me so it came from one of them. I am a black bald headed man with no facial hair. I spoke with one of the mangers Brandon about this matter and he will be funding my card. I love Burrito Beach and their food, but this was not professional at all. I did inform manger Brandon to implement some head protection so hair would not go into people food. I will show the pictures and videos to.

Visiting to Chicago. Stopped in since by the hotel and starving after a travel day Similar to chipotle, This is a local 3-store chain. Way more flavorful and better ingredients. I recommend you try their soups, was a surprise how good this was

I stopped by here to do cheap carryout for my hotel instead of buying something there. I don't think I've ever eaten here, except maybe from a catered lunch. I saw Fish Tacos and had to go in! 3 for $10, was a nice bargain! I walked in and spoke to the nice guy behind the counter. I think I went the wrong way but no problem. I like how the food is visible as they make it, but since I did carryout I didn't watch any preparations. The place is bright and nicely lit, I'd maybe eat in if I am in the area next time. I chose not to get chips and guac but it is ON my list for next time. I did not eat the cod tacos right away, I stashed them in the fridge, but even eating them cold was tasty! There was just the right amount of Mexican slaw and toppings, and the fish was fried perfectly. For a chain, the food was fairly healthy.

Terrible stomach pains, cramps all night from this place. location Lincoln Park. It must have been the lettuce, I ordered a salad bowl.

Easily the best value in the city! I think I found my new go to breakfast spot. $5.49 for a well packed, custom burrito is hard to miss with. They also receive bonus points for making the eggs fresh to order rather than scooping them out of the warmer. Keep up the good work team!

1/22/25, back in Chicago. Food still hard to beat! Very good! Like I said before not too busy...

Ended up getting a burrito and burrito bowl. I ate the burrito bowl fresh and it was great. The baja chicken and shrimp were delicious. The red rice, corn, veggies, onions, jalepenos, and pickled onions all complemented the protein. The spicy salsa was slightly chunky but not as spicy as I expected. The burrito was eaten the next day and ended up being a disaster. Reheating it turned into a soggy tortilla (I take the blame) and the char grilled chicken was just not as good as the baja chicken. I also got chips and guac which were alright. Very similar to Chipotle with slightly different ingredients. Highly recommend if you want shrimp with your fast Mexican food.

My wife and I were visiting Lizzie at NW Hospital and stopped for a quick bite before visiting her. I was surprised to find vegan dishes, which I'm always open to trying. We both had the Avocado Tacos served with salsa and any other veggies you chose. We shared a side dish of rise and black beans. This is definitely a quick, healthy dinner plate to have, and they were very quick and courteous.

Great customer service! Francisco is great at guiding you if you're unsure of what to order. Went in for the first time and was not disappointed! 10/10, will def be coming back. And truthfully, better than Chipotle.

I used Burrito Beach catering for my office for the first time and it will not be my last. I was very impressed with the communication with my catering manager and the punctuality of the driver for an 8:30 am delivery time. I ordered their assortment of breakfast burritos for a group of 70. They were packaged in a box with a clever design (lid folds back to show the logo) and all burritos were labeled.

i grew up in the restaurant biz, and know what hard work it is to do it right and be successful. In its category. This is by far, the cleanest.... most well run restaurants with the MOST pleasant employees that I've been to in a loooong time. The food seems to be top quality everything is always fresh buuuut the SKIRT STEAK is soo tender and perfectly seasoned with that touch of smokiness and what keeps me coming back...along with the friendly smiles from the employees. stark contrast to CHIPOTLE that serves seasoned leather for steak.....gold infused guacamole with sides of attitude.

I have been coming to this particular location (Ohio and St Clair st) for 2 years+ now and I must say the best food and service by far!!!! Food is always fresh, and the employers are super friendly and always greet me a smile!! I have gotten the chicken tacos and nacho bowl, and the bowl is my absolute favorite. Basically a chipotle style fast food restaurant with more options. I haven't been here enough to have tried a bunch of stuff but every time I come to Chicago I always grab a quick bite here.

The service was 5 STAR amazing!! The workers were so kind and welcoming. The food was AMAZE BALLS. The location is clean & tidy. Definitely will come back again!!

Stopped by with my boyfriend and enjoyed the friendly and clean atmosphere. We both agreed this is a good place to go however the food isn't super flavorful and the prices are a little high. We both still enjoyed our lunch here regardless.

I got the Baja chicken bowl from here through my corporate lunch ordering program, Fooda. It was an ok lunch but the bowl was pretty small, especially compared to chipotle/Qdoba. Basically I would eat one spoonful and already see the bottom of the bowl. Maybe with chips it would be a filling meal, but the bowl itself wasn't portioned enough to fill me up. Otherwise the ingredients were fine, but if I had the choice of a similar option like the ones listed before, I would pick other options.

For all intents & purposes this place is a mix between an authentic mexican restaurant & Chipotle. IMHO this place kills Chipotle. Their shrimp tacos are the bomb and the Caldo de Pollo is PHENOMENAL. Big fan of the Chicken Burrito Magnifico as well, which uses Grilled Chicken versus boiled chicken with tater tots inside of it is great as well. The Guac is good & they serve beer if you want to wash the food down that way. I have yet to try their steak or pulled pork meats as of yet. Is it the greatest hispanic restaurant on Earth. No. Is it worth a visit? 1000%

I love this place! As a traveler, I visit the O'Hare location often. The food is always fresh, and the associates working there are always friendly, professional, and eager to please. I love the variety of healthy options, also. BSmooth next door has a variety of healthy fresh options, as well!

Tried the carne asada burrito and it was good. They add rice and black. Rams, if you want, and with all of the right toppings. Although not like those burritos from California or Arizona, they state in their menu that they serve Baja California style fish tacos...next time!

My go to stop when I'm in O'Hare airport. Fast, generous portions, fast and friendly service. The burritos and quesadillas are always the perfect food for me when I'm grabbing something for my flight. Meats are decently seasoned and when I was a meat eater I'd always get the pork or spicy chicken. Now a days I get the bean burrito. It's big and hearty. The flavor isn't over the top so I spruce it up with their guacamole and their spicy salsa and it's decent. Lots of seating in the food court however I usually grab and go for the plane or take it to the airline lounge.

My favorite lunch time spot. The food is always consistently good, and inexpensive, you can't say that about many other places downtown. I use the app and earn free food, bonus! The best chicken tacos in town...

I've had multiple experiences with burritos at the University of Chicago, but my last encounter was beyond frustrating. One employee could not understand my order, even though I spoke loudly and clearly several times. Instead of attempting to understand, she had the nerve to complain about my pronunciation! This is not just poor customer service, it's outright RACISM. If you have an accent, beware--don't expect to be treated with respect or have your order taken seriously. I'm appalled by how I was treated and will never return.

Where to begin well the customer service was not so pleasant!! Write from the beginning attitude was given just because I ask if there was any fresh cook steak done !!! I believe is a fear for a customer to have the right to ask what he is eating as well as what his paying for. I am sure arrogance is not applying the menu of their establishment. Fair to say that, at least the food was OK, but not the greatest Seeing that chipotle is their competitor I would assume that they would provide better service.

Wish we had this in the suburbs. By far beast chipotle times a million!! Service was attentive and very friendly. Food is so tasty & great portions.

I tried a Burrito Beach burrito when I was at O'hare Airport. This spot had the longest line of all the food options, so I knew if was worth a try. I decided to go with the black beans and goat cheese burrito, which comes with veggies. Service was fast, and I love how they toast your burrito. This spot has an ambiance similar to Chipotle, but beachier vibes. You get to choose your toppings and sauces. They put in a lot of filling, so you definitely leave with a pretty decently sized burrito. I just wish they had spicier sauce selections. My burrito didn't have as much hot sauce as I wanted it to have. My only other complaint is the fact that they charge extra for guacamole, even if you're doing one of the vegetarian burritos. But overall, I think this place worth a shot if you're looking for decently priced and filling food at the Chicago airport.

I'm a flight attendant and there's one in terminal 3. The guys there are all good customer service! Food is all ways tasty and super fresh. Don't hesitate to eat there before your flight!

Very stingy when it comes to meat and salsa. They'll give small portion of meat and if you ask for little more, they charge extra. Ask for more salsa and they charge extra.

I work in terminal 1 and everyday walk to termin 3 to eat burrito beach tacos they tasty so great and they have very cheap prices I also enjoy the shimp bowl it's so delicious with rice and bean I recommend to anyon they have delicious food and the employees are so nice and helpful.

This place is like family and Jose is like a brother . Everyone knows what I want when I walk in. I come every work day and some weekends. The food is consistently delish and the staff is kind. ALWAYS!

I ordered lunch today from Burrito Beach, and it was Awful. I am not a picky eater whatsoever. I ordered a chicken burrito, and chips with Queso, and a side of large guacamole. The Chicken burrito was inedible. The taste was fine, but they must not use chicken breast, because out of my 4 bites i took out of the burrito, 3 either had a bone in it, or fatty gristle. The chips were stale, and the guacamole that I was charged 5 dollars for was in a cup the size of a shot glass. It was brown, and did not taste fresh. The queso had zero flavor, but some spice. Flavor, and spice don't work together. You need both to make it work. It was like thick, spicy water. They sent me a few salsas. The red way okay, but I spit out the green. It was rancid. It tasted like garbage smells. I will never order from here again.

Yummy and delicious burritos and tacos! This place got my vote for the best ground beef tacos and chicken tacos. They also have a vegan tacos and yummy sauces. If you are looking for a quick lunch or grab and go type of food, this place one of the best one in town. Don't forget to try their drinks too!They have outdoor seating in case if you are wondering to visit in the summer time. The bar type of seating is nice inside the restaurant and service is pretty fast as well. You have to try the beef tacos with their sauces!

Elevated taco bell. The food is okay. The staff was not so friendly and did not change gloves after touching all over non food items. Not a place I plan to come back.

Worst service ever received just now. Don't bother trying to call as the listed phone number immediately comes to a "busy tone". Guy working the food station was rude, uncooperative and sloppy. Cursed towards me in front of other customers as I was leaving. Did not give me the additional sauces I had asked for either. The service sucks, food is ok.

I wanted a quick bite during lunch and this place was perfect! Food was delicious, fast and the young lady (I think her name was RubI!) that took care of me was very nice! so glad I went here! Also everything looked tidy and orderly, nice mellow music in the background. Great choice for lunch!

I love this restaurant! I go every week and order the goat cheese and bean burrito. Everything is always so fresh and the staff is so friendly! The space is clean and nice to sit in while I work.

My family and I were staying in a hotel nearby, and we decided to try this spot for lunch. Personally, I wasn't expecting much. However, my husband and I were both pleasantly surprised by the burst of flavors we experienced with our respective meals! My husband ordered chicken tacos and soup, while I ordered the nachos. The seasonings and salsas were amazing! Just the right amount of kick to them.

I love getting the family taco kits from here. Comes in a box with all the ingredients to make your own taco- great for families. Comes with two cookies as well. Can order online and easily pick it up - everything is nicely packaged.

Short answer: decent burritos, amazing ice cream! Great ice cream at a burrito place...Surprising? Yes. 100% true? Also yes. You decide what goes in your burritos and the ingredients aren't crazy good or anything special but for a chain, burrito place, it's good. I would honestly go just for the ice cream! My favorite blizzard-like flavors are the chocolate/peanut butter (I'm drooling just thinking about it) and the strawberry cheesecake which has actual, amazing cheesecake in jt!

Burrito beach is super tasty. I got the burrito and my friend got the bowl. We both really enjoyed our meal! The chips and guacamole were tasty too! Surprised when order the burrito with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole they do not put it in the burrito. They put mine on the side instead.

During my frequent travels, I often stop by Burrito Beach, O'Hare. Before boarding and/or returning home... I absolutely look forward to seeing the regular friendly employees who offer the BEST customer service ever! Additionally, my food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. I simply cannot wait to visit and place my next order.

Location is great as it's in the hospital. We were there for two days so eating something not greasy was great. The options they had were great. Went for the black bean and goat cheese bowl and was good and filling g. Went back on day two to have it again. Menu prices were good and service was friendly.

This is my favorite location. The food here is solid. Definitely delicious but what gives this one extra stars is that they are super friendly and remember you. That's a special touch. They also play good music on the patio which I love in the warm weather!

Wasn't a bad experience. Food was good....bathroom wasn't connected to the store. But not bad.
