Came here to visit some students for lunch a couple times, and it was great! Great selection of food, salad bar, fruit, and everything basic you would need.

Pretty nice dorm in a quiet location. Good people, lots of engineering students. The dining hall has pretty decent food, and a great selection of fruits.

l.dealt with 2 guys. 1 was a middle aged asian man who was preparing the food, and a black guy who was in charge of cleaning. they were not helpful and rude

Why was there celery in the cornbread😫 it just said it was cornbread on the sign😖 consistently bad food you always know what to expect. They get two stars cause there’s some good employees that genuinely acknowledge you and tell you to enjoy your meal on your way in (you won’t but it’s nice to hear) and on your way out theyll wish you a good day.

The Food at Bursley is better then South Quad, the parking is horrible.

Burnley Hall is very secure, clean, and offers a wonderful on-campus experience.

Terrible. The staff are nice people, but the food is SEVERELY UNDERCOOKED. I understand that they have a lot of people to serve, but I have received food poisoning a countless number of times. Very poor quality compared to dining at other schools, and expensive too! Having to rely on Bursley (since it's the only dining hall on North Campus) for breakfast and dinner is definitely annoying.

Bursley is the ugliest building on the entire Ann Arbor Campus. There are lots of dining options, but you'll find yourself eating a sandwich half the time because food is inconsistently edible, with lots of instances of undercooked chicken. Everything's dirty and old, and they're always out of milk for some reason? They close half the dining hall on weekends, which would be fine except for the fact that the occupancy is the same throughout Saturday and Sunday, so you may be waiting for a seat. The best part about eating at Bursley is the staff; the nice old dude at the front entrance remembers my name and always tells me to have a nice afternoon every time I eat - he's the best part of the experience. I don't know why UMich insists that engineering students have the worst freshman living situation on campus; any other dining hall is a five-star restaurant compared to Bursley, and North Quad is a luxury villa in comparison to Bursley and Baits II.

Yelp
The worst ever. Everything on the menu is a lie the only thing they ever have consistently is chicken tenders. Staff judge you when you only decide to get one thing and ask "that's it?" as if i'm passing up something spectacular instead of whatever BS they're serving that day. Every visit to this place is a disappointment, avoid it at all costs.

Yelp
Some of the food can be pretty good, but not always. Also late at night it's only burgers lol. But... this wouldn't have been a four star review if it weren't for the chocolate chip cookies. I don't even like chocolate chip and these things are fucking insane. I've eaten 12 in a sitting. Like, are you kidding? They're melty and soft and buttery and just a goddamn nightmare for your arteries. Attend this university for the chocolate chip cookies.

Yelp
Must visit this place if you want to be tortured. Food is horrid, chickens are dry, seafoods are never fresh.

Yelp
There is a reason they call it the dirty Burs There was a bug in my food ...it was alive There's been nothing good here to eat but white rice and pizza since I've gotten back from break? I'd really like some edible nutrients?

Yelp
This may well be your very first meal as a Michigan student. Your parents have unloaded your clothes, helped loft your bed, and gave you a tearful hug goodbye. And as you see their car pull away from the curb in the midst of the chaos of moving day, leaving you to start a new life; you are filled with emotions- chief among them, hunger. Located above the main lobby, Bursley Dining Hall is the only dining hall on North Campus. Yes, it does take the nifty meals that come preloaded on your MCard, and you always have more than you think, so you might as well start using them. Daily menus are posted outside the door, but are also posted on the reshall website. Once there, you'll be struck by how many different food choices there are. Pizzas, hot dogs, hamburgers, soups, salads, sandwiches, dessert, and fruit are always available. Main courses will change day to day, but are generally good for dorm food. Those with a refined palate may find the food boring or too processed, but off campus places offer a wide range of quality food. The staff is made up of students and professionals. Students vary, but in general, they do a fine job of serving and cleaning. Professional staff is not the most personable, but the managers are top notch. There was a problem once where my meals-to-go (you should check those out if you've never heard of them) were not being prepared, but the managers worked to ensure that the problem was resolved. So if you encounter a problem with some of the staff, let them know, and they will be on top of it. Overall, this is good food for a cafeteria style set up. Although North Quad and Mojo have better food, I feel the staff here is the best.
