Bursley Dining Hall

Came here to visit some students for lunch a couple times, and it was great! Great selection of food, salad bar, fruit, and everything basic you would need.

l.dealt with 2 guys. 1 was a middle aged asian man who was preparing the food, and a black guy who was in charge of cleaning. they were not helpful and rude

Pretty nice dorm in a quiet location. Good people, lots of engineering students. The dining hall has pretty decent food, and a great selection of fruits.

Burnley Hall is very secure, clean, and offers a wonderful on-campus experience.

Why was there celery in the cornbread😫 it just said it was cornbread on the sign😖 consistently bad food you always know what to expect. They get two stars cause there’s some good employees that genuinely acknowledge you and tell you to enjoy your meal on your way in (you won’t but it’s nice to hear) and on your way out theyll wish you a good day.

Bursley is the ugliest building on the entire Ann Arbor Campus. There are lots of dining options, but you'll find yourself eating a sandwich half the time because food is inconsistently edible, with lots of instances of undercooked chicken. Everything's dirty and old, and they're always out of milk for some reason? They close half the dining hall on weekends, which would be fine except for the fact that the occupancy is the same throughout Saturday and Sunday, so you may be waiting for a seat. The best part about eating at Bursley is the staff; the nice old dude at the front entrance remembers my name and always tells me to have a nice afternoon every time I eat - he's the best part of the experience. I don't know why UMich insists that engineering students have the worst freshman living situation on campus; any other dining hall is a five-star restaurant compared to Bursley, and North Quad is a luxury villa in comparison to Bursley and Baits II.
