Burtucci's New York Pizza

This is solid NY style Pizza. The thin crust pizza is really good. Being from NY myself, Bartucci’s comes close to the real deal. The service is okay. Giving us no dressing for our to-go salad was a bummer. There’s plenty of courtyard tables outside and some seating inside. A good neighborhood spot in HB that offers by-the-slice pizza. Improving the service would make it better.

I am a pizza addict. All I wanted was a slice of pizza that afternoon and found this place. There was a MOD pizza across the parking lot but something drew me to this place. It seemed more authentic. They had many types of pizza. I ended up getting a slice of cheese pizza and some garlic knots. I did not expect the heavenly explosion of flavor in my mouth. It was amazing! So delicious! The pizza was nice and crispy. The garlic knots were superbly savory, especially with the side of marinara dipping sauce. I will be back!

Good slices here, I’ll ask next time for them to be cooked a bit longer. UPDATE: I returned and asked for the slices to be well done, and 👌🏼 they were awesome, thanks to the chef for the perfect cook on the slices.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! We ordered delivery and they forgot my son's slice of pizza and it is the only thing he eats....when I called they said ops we missed it. I said ok well I need the slice and they wanted me to drive there and pick it up despite paying for delivery!! When I said no, you need to refund it THEY HUNG UP ON ME!!! Rude! Unprofessional and stealing money! I had to contact my delivery driver and she was the nicest and went back to get it! She was the awesome! Way better then the staff at the pizza place

I like the square cut slices alot! Always tastes great when they warm it in the oven. Adds a nice crisp! I have tried alot of pizza places in HB and this and Burratinos are at the top of the list.

The guy behind the counter was very kind and helpful with my order. I ordered a pepperoni pizza square pan. The pizza was perfect for our family. It's a great size and great portions. Definitely would recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

I got 10 wings, and 1 slice lunch special. $25 and some change which is insane but whatever besides that, Pizza was burnt n tasted old and my wings we small and alittle over cooked. In the picture, they counted that random piece of chicken on the side as one of my wings. Im not going there again and I suggest you dont either.

The pizza is great -particularly the Margherita pizza. It’s cooked perfectly with a nice crispy bottom. The salads and pasta is good too. We ordered it online and they delivered it to our home very fast. I’m not a fan of the meatball but the pasta was good and it was a huge portion. It will last for 3 or more days. Great service and nice staff.

I usually take photos, but everything was devoured so quickly that all I would've had were pictures of crust! I placed an order for pick-up and it was ready right on time. The pizzas were incredibly fresh and, thankfully, not swimming in oil like some places. I love a good slice that holds up--no flopping, no mess. And don't even get me started on the Caesar salad... I refuse to share it with anyone. We're officially lifetime customers. 10/10!

A decent place to feed anyone's greasy needs. I was early for a first date at a coffee place nearby; I saw Burtucci's; I thought I am mostly of Italian descent, why not? I ran to the counter and said: "Pepperoni and cheese me, please. One slice is all I've time for." The clerk behind the counter made his way to the pepperoni pizza & then the real trouble started. The kid did not know how to effectively use a pizza cutter, a knife, or his hands to free the slice I had ordered. He ran the cutter over the section of pizza too quickly and feebly. The pizza slice remained linked to the main pie by strands of crust and cheese. The lad began to sigh, grunt, and lament as the slice thwarted his every effort to pry it free. At one point he cried: "Ay-ay-ay-ay-ayyyy." He even offered to get me another slice, and I was far too amused to say anything other than: "No you got this." The struggle continued when he made a last ditch effort to separate the slice out by hand. He ultimately cut the piece free with a cleaver, but it took some doing. The pizza was a surprise party of grease. More than I expected. Grease popped out of every corner of this pizza & shouted at the roof of my mouth. Fortunately, I welcome grease if enough cheese is around. I finished this slice in seconds. There might be chairs in Burtucci's, but I never wanted to take time away from my slice to sit down. The pepperoni pizza at Burtucci's put me in the right satisfied frame of my mind for this first coffee date. I felt relaxed but not stuffed or overloaded. Long story short: I got a second date. Now if I can only find a way to get another slice of Burtucci's...

First time here and both the service and the pizza were great! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I was expecting a more crispy crust as that's what most NY style pizza that I've had is like. Otherwise it was fantastic. Will definitely be back and will just request the crust to be a little more crispy. I just had a half pepperoni and half cheese. The price is right also!

Fresh homemade pizzas and salads! Crusts my thing are crisp and delicious. Our local which gets extremely busy. Can sit there, inside our out and takeaway. Salad, on takeaway, I ask for all the sides to be individually packaged and not added to the greens. Staff are always friendly and willing to accommodate.

Grabbing dinner for the kids after a long day of sports and thought pasta would be an easy crowd pleaser. Got the Alfredo home and it was inedible- sauce was chunky and had no flavor. Waste of $20, ended up having to make dinner at home. Maybe stick to the pizza- it looked good.

Took advantage of a Bogo deal this restaurant had and I was pleasantly surprised! They practically had Bogo everything! From the Meat Lovers Pizza, to the Cheesesteak Sandwich and Meatball Marinara Sub... I couldn't decide so I ordered it all! I was pretty certain I'd have to loosen by belt buckle for this feast, but it seemed worth the caloric guilt. The order took awhile to deliver but I ordered a massive amount so I wasn't complaining. When the food arrived, I was astounded by the portioning, size and quality of the items. The sandwiches were generously stuffed with loads of meat & cheese, the pizza was properly topped with an array of delectable meats and the salad was massive, bright, fresh and loaded with veggies! I was very impressed but now it was down to how everything tasted. The perfectly baked pizza dough held the ingredients nicely without losing its integrity and the first bite was absolutely satisfying. The cheesesteak was delicious as well as the meatball marinara sub. I honestly had no complaints. They do get busy during lunch so order thoughtfully and be mindful that with patience comes amazing rewards, namely fresh and delicious Italian cuisine you'll come back for time and time again! Happy Eats!

Just stopped by myself for a quick slice. Just as good as first review two years ago. parking lot is a little busier now, but there's plenty of tables for outside dining alongside the other restaurants as well. Stillwell recommended, we will return

Burtucci's is a take-out pizza restaurant in Huntington Beach. We have getting Friday nite pizza from them for several year's, it never disappoints! Im italian and had an Italian mom who made pizza once a week, so I am fussy about my pizza Give it a try!

I love this little place! Great ambiance! The pizza is BIG and delicious. The garlic knots are also excellent. Very NYC of you to grab a slice & go. Highly recommended as the best pizza joint in this part of town.

First time trying this place, and we got our pizza delivered. We got a large and it had 8 slices. When I opened the box, it looked good but it was SO greasy. We had to pat it down with paper towels to get rid of some of the grease. It was also my first time trying NY style, and I'm not the biggest fan I have to say. The pizza's too thin for me. On the plus side, it had good flavor!

Hands-down, one of the best experiences I've had in a while. Went over to rip Pizza to have dinner and the wait was extremely long. Hopped on out and looked up pizza nearby and this place came up. The sad thing is, I've driven by this place about 1000 times and never thought to give it a try. Pepperoni pizza : this pizza was extremely good. It was nice and big, there was a little bit of flop, and the underside was cooked perfectly. My only issue with the pizza is that no matter the size after large the slices just get bigger. Had to cut it when I got home into smaller slices, but in the grand scheme of things that was not a big deal. Sicilian pizza: this is my favorite pizza. It was filled with flavor. You would think it would be a bit doughy considering that they use double dough but it was fantastic. The staff was extremely nice and explained everything when I asked questions since I've never been there before. Will definitely come back.

I've been coming here for a few years and I've enjoyed the occasional slice of pizza and make-your-own-salad. Tonight, my experience was terrible and because of that, I won't be going back. Firstly, the lady that was serving the salad was flat out rude. She wouldn't let you get a word in when placing the salad order and kept talking over my mom. Secondly, the salad had black and soggy pieces all- throughout. Thirdly, the custom vegetarian pizza was disgusting. The cheese tasted gross and the pizza itself was soggy. I couldn't even finish it. I am saying goodbye to this place for good.

I'm sure this pizza is probably good but I'm leaving 1 star to make you guys aware of when uber eats delivers your pizza it's making you guys look really bad .. the pizza was super cold , soggy and even the box was soggy and wet .. the cheese was terrible and the pizza was super floppy .. I know it's uber eats who took over an hour to deliver it after they picked it up but it doesn't reflect well

I you answered yeah, to any of these questions. I recommend you race over to Bertuccis's on Yorktown, in Huntington Beach. This is our go-to spot for NY Pizza! Walk don't run, it is the best pie in town!

If you want to know what it feels like to be in a NYC pizzeria this is it. Solid pizza - I enjoyed the variety of options for a single slice. Guy who runs the place is a OG New Yorker who started making pizza in Queens. Places like these are few and far between even in NYC - you should give this place a bite - it is tasty while nostolgic :)

Sooo disappointed, I was looking for a NY style pizza place and this was recommended to us. The pizza was pretty much the same as most other places, morning NY about this place accept maybe the name. I heard the subs were good, but did not try them myself. Pizza crust was a bit better than say pizza hut, but otherwise I would pass on this place next time. Good service and staff were very friendly!

I'm always excited to see Ny Pizzeria's in Cali however, this one was a big miss. The crust had zero flavoring and was semi, not done. Crust, makes the entire pizza and this was more like a cracker that had not been fully cooked. I've yet to have a bad "Alfredo" sauces pizza and this was was full of ricotta cheese and little to no Alfredo. The pizza just lacked flavor. Also, they told me 20 minutes and the pizza wasn't done for 35 and still needed to cook a bit longer. The meat lovers pizza was okay. Again, the crust lacks flavor and that really Ny pizza grease, fold, and flavor. The plus was the customer service, the set up of the pizzeria, and the Dodger game was playing during the World Series, on mute though. I would not come again.

This was one of the best pizza's I have had since I visited Greece 5 years ago. The ingredients are so fresh. The style the way it's made Brought back great memories . We will be back

This is good Pizza ,however the last three times I've been there they never cook the Pizza right. Today ordered cheese pizza and when i got it home way undercooked.Before that thy overcooked it and was tough as leather. I don't get it.Why can't they get it right ?

This place sucks. I have given them SO many chances because the food is actually good, last time they took over 2 HOURS when I ordered a pizza they said would take 30 minutes and today they forgot my salad dressing on a postmates order. Never again

Love this place, and we always come for the Greek Pizza or New York style pizzas. Greek Pizza taste really good with some Rosemary on it and cheese and meats. They make pizzas inside the big Firegrile oven. Service is good here, and everything is freshly made. You will have to come out ot Burtucci's Pizza.

I stumbled upon this place after grabbing a green juice at Nekter a couple doors down. What pairs better with that than a nice slice of pizza for *balance* I love a classic pepperoni or cheese and I've been searching for a by the slice joint that reminds me of NY. Service is always friendly and fast and I love coming here to grab a quick bite!

I was tasked with ordering food for the funeral reception of the father of my brother-in-law. Someone in the family mentioned Burtucci's due to its proximity to the reception location. It was very helpful to have the catering menu with prices online, because I was able to gauge what we would like to order and about how many people each tray would feed. I called and spoke with Angelique, who was very kind, very compassionate in offering her condolences, and very helpful in answering my questions and taking our large catering order. It was a great first interaction. The day before pick up, the owner called to let us know its best to bring an SUV since there would be many hot trays. He also let my brother-in-law know he would take good care of us and ensure to pack each tray with a LOT of food. It was a nice touch from a small business owner, to show his appreciation for new customers. Yesterday was the day of pick up. He had us park in the back as he reserved 2 spots for us, for easy loading of the food. I did not get his name but he mentioned he was the owner and ensured he packed everything with care. My husband was very hungry and the owner gave him a free pizza slice hot off the press. I had a few bites, and it was heavenly! My BIL's father would have loved it: melty high-quality cheese, delicate pizza sauce, tasty pepperoni, and a soft inner/crispy outer crust. The owner was very personable, friendly, and compassionate as well as he offered his condolences to us. He packed up our SUV, and the other car as well. My BIL mentioned he threw in a few extras for us, which was so very generous of him. Once we got to the house, the guests descended upon the food and everyone raved about how delicious everything was. Here is a list of what we ordered: House Salad Caesar Salad Chicken Alfredo Spaghetti w/ Meatballs Mediterranean Chicken 10 Pizzas - Supreme, Cheese, Pepperoni Jumbo Cannolis Cheesecakes Tiramisu Chocolate Chip Cookies Everything was so so good! The salads were fresh with no wilting, dressings were perfectly balanced with not too much acidity or oil. The pastas were perfect as the noodles were not over cooked and not drenched in sauce. Presentation was nice and felt upscale. The pizzas were the first to go, so that's all i'll say about that! I will say, the spaghetti w/ meatballs was a fan favorite. There was something about it that was so tasty and elevated the flavors. Many guests loved the cheesecake and the tiramisu recieved rave reviews. I actually have a party i'm hosting in mid-January and now I know who to use for catering! Thanks, Burtucci's, for making this experience seamless - from ordering all the way to pick up. My brother-in-law's father was near and dear to us, and he truly appreciated good quality food. We know he would have approved of Burtucci's for sure.

How do you false advertise your jalapeño poppers? That's bad business. And the ones you served were disgusting freezer food I could have air fried myself. I did not eat them they went straight to the trash. Clearly not the picture on your website. Did not come with marinara either, came with ranch, I literally thought I got an order of chicken nugget. Pizza was decent, that's what the three stars is for.

OMG New York style!! Thin crust, delicious sauce and no flop (*ask well done for crispy). Bradley and Max are professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu too. Pizza literally had steam out of box; definitely I'm a returning customer

We ordered three different personal pizzas for delivery. All three were made exactly as ordered. Crusts were great, right amount of salt, right balance of crispy and chewy, and the tomato sauce was not over abundant so we could still enjoy the toppings. The surprise star was the harvest salad with the balsamic dressing. It was delicious and abundant. We split it amongst three adults and had leftovers. Would definitely order again!

The beet salad was amazing, with fresh buffalo mozarella chunks it in with the beets, walnuts, tomato and cucumber on fresh greens with a balsamic vinaigrette. Would definitely get this again! The pepperoni pizza is always delish!!

S'alright. Pizza is pizza. All pizza s'alright. Am I right? The Mediterranean is good, as is the Margherita and Everything pizzas. Good size slices, friendly service, comparable prices. Interestingly, Mod Pizza is right across from this joint. We much rather support a family owned biz like this place. Not a bad spot to grab a slice or a whole pie. Not sure how long a mom and pop place like this will last. HB has to have some hellacious rent for businesses.

Crust was not crispy. Seems like it could have cooked a little longer. Not enough chesse. Lacked in flavor.

Ordered 3 different family size pizzas for a poker party. They were hot & ready at the requested time. Everyone really enjoyed them. Definitely would order from here again.

Came here today for a quick lunch in between meetings. The pizza is reasonably priced by the slice. We also ordered the garlic knots, which were being made fresh. Raymond, the owner, has been here for decades and he knows his way around the kitchen! This is east coast style pizza, thin crust and fired in a brick and wood oven. Very casual with both indoor seating, where Raymond will happily chat with you, or just outside in the sunshine. Love it - highly recommend!

Second time coming to Burtuccis and it has been great. We got the chicken parm pasta and it was delicious. The sauce is so good and the chicken paired really well. I got it to go but the inside seemed small but nice with outside seating.

This place was fantastic. I am usually turned off by pre-made pizza by the slice just sitting out. I chose three different kinds of pizza, and they came out tasting fresh and crispy. I guess benefit of this type of pizza place is you aren't stuck with just one type of pizza!

blind test pepperoni slice would be almost exactly like a costco pizza but slightly smaller slice. Decent amount of cheese. Tastes like your average pizza joint and very greasy definitely NOT a new york pizza. Bottom not crispy at all even when i asked for extra toasted

I love, love, Burtucci's Pizza so so much. I tried their Lasagna for the first time in 2021 and it was so so good I wanted to come back and have it again and again. It was that good their customer service is fantastic every single time I go there they are so kind and helpful. And their Lasagna is the best Lasagna I've ever had in my entire life, it is absolutely delicious it tastes like it's homemade. And I brought my friends to this spot and they absolutely loved it so much they said it was some of the best food they've ever had in their life. I can't wait to be back to have you're bomb Lasagna. Thank you Burtucci's for being so kind and helpful to me and my friends and my family your Pizza and Pasta are outstanding every single time I go there.

Originally was going to Chipotle but saw this place and said what the hell why not. This place was very good I'm glad I decided to give a try. It's pizza by the slice and they have a few different ones to choose from. I got 2 slices the pepperoni and sausage & Canadian bacon with pineapple. The price wasn't to bad and it was quick. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

Haven't been here in a while but had to come back and have a slice of their wonderful pizza. The crust is so crispy and light and they have a delicious Greek pizza with no meat which is what I prefer. And all the choices they have by the slice makes it great for anyone because they definitely have what you want. Quick and friendly service is also a plus they offer!

Worst customer service. They have gone downhill over the years. Phoning in your order means nothing . They have no time management skills

I'm not going to lie, this pizza is amazing. But what I don't think is right is the service when it's close to closing. If you guys really close at 9:30Pm, it should be updated on here to say they close at 9:30 and not 10PM. They state they close at 9:30 so they can pack up any left over pizza for themselves. I get it you can take the left over pizza but if the store is supposed to stay open for another 30 min and people just want to buy by the slice why deny that to a customer? If you're denying just so you can take home pizza, that's not okay. But if you're truly closed by 9:30Pm on a Friday night, lock the doors to show it's closed and please update the closing time for customers to know too.

I'm very picky about the crust of my thin crust pizza, and Bertucci's gets it just right. A+ for the crust. Toppings are above average -- I'd give a B+. The jalapeños here are not for the faint of heart. Mediterranean pizza has an interesting spice combo. Now that my local Z's has closed, this is my go-to for a pizza slice.

I don't usually rate pizza five stars unless I'm in Italy but this place is authentic. We got the Italian man, a brick oven, and delicious food. They reheat the pizza slice before giving it to you which I thought would taste ~alright~ but the texture and consistency tasted perfect. I also got some sides which honestly tasted better than the pizza. Highly recommend :)

We were craving pizza & as this place was still open decided to grab close by and try this pizza joint. They have pizza by the slices or you can order a pizza from their list. I opted for ordering a pizza as I didn't know if the slices were still fresh. We decided on The Godfather pizza. It was ready within 15 minutes and it wasn't bad but I was a bit disappointed that the chicken tastes uncooked & dry. The rest of the pizza was good. Liked the capers & sun-dried tomatoes. I probably will opt for a slice next time if I decide to come back here. Definitely not NY pizza but it was still tasty & satiated my pizza craving.

Unique specialty pizzas that are so good! Wish I would've found this place sooner. California pepperoni is my go to.
