The food was delicious. The service was excellent awesome amazing. I would highly recommended this spot for a comforting breakfast brunch. Loved the people and the food. Chicken n waffle is too good to pass! The dessert menu upfront is also very inviting.

Saw the 24/7 sign and stopped by late at night for a bite and coffee while I catch up on some reading. There was a miscommunication about the breakfast menu... large part is only available 7-11am. I ended up going with an omelette which was almost 20 bucks! Pretty steep, but I thought it was justified because I could relax inside. Turns out it's only take out at night...wish they told me that before I ordered. 🙃 Wasn't a bad meal don't get me wrong, not worth the price though is all I'm saying

The most disgusting soup I’ve ever been given. It’s all knuckles not chicken or noodles

I ordered 2 pieces of pie & instead of the brilliant front counter server giving me a slice of the new pie that was ready and available, she was trying her hardest to be the cheapest she could be until I said something about the anorexic slice she tried to charge regular price for. She took the new cake and threw another skinny slice ontop of the slice already in the container & this is what both pieces looked like. Are you serious! Never again, Horrible service!

We had really nice breakfast here. Staff is helpful. Food is tasty and fairly priced. I had really good egg Benedict. I recommend this place if you are in the area.

Whenever I’m in the area, I love coming here. The food is great, service is great why not?! However, this time will be my last. The prices have sky rocketed. I understand that after the pandemic so did everything. But I will not pay $15+ for a basic omelette. I LOVE their oatmeal. That may be the only thing I continue to support. But we were really shocked when looking at the menu. They also have an outside seating area.

Food is very expensive, terrible customer service!! Every single time my husband calls to place a delivery order, whoever picks up the phone is disgustingly rude, sometimes they pick up the phone and don't even say anything and lets you wait to the point where you gotta hang up & call again! & its a short mexican too! Who thinks he owns the place which I'm pretty sure he doesn’t. However today my husband placed a delivery order of a butter roll along with other items & upon opening the butter roll that thing came in hard as a ROCK!!! Couldn’t even take a bite out of it!! He had to throw it out! Its like they made it for a dog!! It’s unacceptable!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! & FOOD!!!

Got food poisoning here! Staff was friendly. Place is sticky, sticky tables, worn menus etc. ordered a number of things, all of which tasted meh except the plantains. We ordered 2 different stewed meats and when they arrived they smelled and tasted pungent, like they were mixed with vinegar or something. We couldn't eat it, it smelled too bad. When we sent it back, they understood. 8hrs later, I woke up to violently throw up and other symptoms that come with food poisoning. It was nonstop and bad. Ended up going to the hospital.

Service way down, prices way up. Had to ask For our table to be cleaned. Had to find someone to take our order, had to ask for our food, had to ask for dressing for our salad, $85 for three people , two burgers with fries, Greek salad with chicken. Chicken was cold, bread (roll) with butter overly salty with flecks of red and green peppers, strange. Extra charge if not paying with cash. Used to be a good spot for standard diner fare, but not so much anymore. Not worth the expense.

Let me keep this very short. First time I got food from here it was chicken soup and breakfast.... Really good. Love the chicken soup ! Yesterday I ordered from them & received a B.L.T with no B or T smh... like Ummmmm, where they do that at ? I was flabbergasted (& still hungry) because who about to eat a cheese & lettuce sandwich. My partner had a cheese burger but wasn't able to put the lettuce and tomato in it because as soon as you try to pull the bread apart, it rips up. So she ended up with a dry burger/breaking pieces to incorporate the lettuce & tomato... It was too much, I'll just stick to the soup & breakfast if anything.

This place is the real deal! This isn't a tourist spot or fancy place but it is great food with a local home cook style. It was really fun for us Texas folks to get this experience! The service was great! We especially love how the waitress called all the guys "poppie" (I may not have spelled that correctly.) The chicken Alfredo was huge and very good! The fried cheese was good and very unique for us Texans. There isn't a lot of seating but it feels cozy!

Nasty food. The scrambled eggs had zero seasoning - no salt, no pepper. The home fries were actually mashed potatoes with a couple of pieces of bell pepper thrown in and flattened out then browned a little. The corned beef hash tasted like I was eating dog food. Toast was the best part.

Nice people, good food. They have a quicker grab and go or a sit down menu. Prices are high just because everything is high in the city now, but much more reasonable than a lot of places. They were happy to have two of us share a meal. Serve Pepsi, not Coke products, FYI. Coffee good. Steady business but we got right in.

I will give 5 stars for the fact that they are open 24/7 there aren't many places like that anymore, not even in NYC. I am not a night owl but sometimes after travel or late figure skate practice it is really great to have a place in the neighborhood that is always open. The food is pretty good and the service is always nice and good.

I researched buttermilk pancakes recently and came across Bus Stop Diner. I looked at the pictures and there was a wide selection of breakfast options so my husband and I decided to go for it. We placed our order with Gabriel who super professional, thorough and courteous. Delivery was prompt so our food came hot even though it was 23 degrees outside. Dramatic moment! My blueberry pancakes, beef sausage and bacon was to live for!! Omg! I couldn't stop raving about it. Every bite reassured me that I did indeed find the best breakfast location in Harlem. I had to call back and give my compliments to the Chef. Thank you Gabriel for the stellar service and fresh top quality food.

Now this is my first review in a very very long time. But I'm glad that I'm able to review this vaccine COVID friendly diner which literally saved me from hunger.. Today is the day I'm finally taking a very important and exam; of course I needed a big BIG AFFORDABLE breakfast to start my day off. After constantly searching for a place to satisfy my breakfast craving. BUS STOP DINER LITERALLY CAME THROUGH WITH THE . The waitress immediately introduced herself and asked for my vaccine card (huge major bonus points), next she already had a cup of water ready for me to drink(another bonus point). The menu (not gonna lie is quite overwhelming) but I was easily able to ready the old school menu. The atmosphere (and very clean!!) is definitely busy since it's the morning rush and their delivery services was BOOMING (from Uber eats, door dash, etc etc) everything was just A1 AMAZING! My omelette(Pepper Jack Cheese with tomatoes and sausage on the side)was perfectly cooked . Coffee WITH ALMOND MILK perfectly brewed. I am MORE THAN READY TO PASS THIS LIFE ALTERING EXAM WHICH WILL CHANGE MY LIFE. All thanks to this very beautiful beautiful... breakfast.. thank you to the entire staff ! Please please support the locals!!!

The had the chicken parm panini and I substituted the marinara sauce for brown gravy with cheese fries and gravy. The brown gravy was really good, the panini was more of a thick wrap type bread but it worked. The chicken was a little dry tbh. I got a slice of the Tres Leches which I've had before and was just as good. I had it delivered through a third party party, but the order was ready for pick up very fast!

Bus Stop Diner is a cute little diner in the corner with such a friendly staff. When we get dinner food we love to try out their breakfast, so we got their French Toast with sausage. The french toast was made with white bread but our favorite was the Belgium sausage which is hard to come by. We also got their spaghetti and meatballs for dinner once there too. They give a large portion which is great! Perfect for two.

I've had other items on the menu but this time Im doing this review on my latest time going. It's open 24/7, who doesn't love that in NYC. When you think of the city that never sleeps, this is what I wanna see especially when you have that late night craving. So this hit 10/10 for that reason. It is a little pricy for what they offer. I also wasn't expecting chocolates on top, rather baked in. It was great but not expected.

Driving by it looks like a deli, but once you sit done and eat here it hits. The staff is friendly, the food is good. The price is perfect.

After escaping the Covid Monster for 3+ years I tested positive today! Only have cold like symptoms so I wanted Chicken Noodle Soup of course. Ordered from here and it is got to be the best Chicken Noodle soup I have ever had. Don't think Ai have ever ate enough soup to being full today. Also asked for extra crackers and they did that great. Will come in person for a meal after I recover! Thanks

18 dollars FOR THIS?????! This place was used to take care of it customers and now it's a Looking for Cash grabs. We've been ordering from them for four years. Never again.

this restaurant is to expensive for the neighborhood $80 for 3 meals is not it.. I don't care about the reviews when I went in it was empty like nobody eats here..

The Dominican breakfast is so good! Well-balanced and a hearty way to start the day. Great diner and service as well. Would recommend!

I honestly used to love this place up until today, don't order they charge you completely different prices from the menu and will tax you for each individual item that you order. My dish said to be 18 on the menu and then I was charged 23 for the dish. The way that they sneak the price and not inform you that the price will be different from the menu is ridiculous never eating from here again. I would get if it was taxes but the taxes were additionally taken out as well too.

Last night, my girlfriend ordered some salad from this place and a couple of things went wrong: 1) When the order was placed in Grubhub by her; the app mentioned this place was open around 9 or 10pm only to find it closed...but they took the money.. 2) then charged her extra....lucky grubhub got the money back. 3) The salad that was delivered little did i knew carried a surprise(or surprises..) 4) I don't know what the F*** is on the meat of this salad but its insanely disgusting and I nearly threw up. I will NOT order from this place again, I will NOT get anything from this place nor even think about ordering anything. I will report this place to the Better Business Bureau cause this is dangerous if they are not cleaning their food and its dangerous to anyone who orders from here!!

I took my grandmother here while visiting and if I could give this place 0 stars I would. They charged me $6 for half a small side of an avocado. How did my breakfast add up to $37? At a DINER?! My grandmothers eggs and toast were $18. Which would be fine if I had chosen to go to a different type of restaurant. The food was just your basic eggs. Not even a diner in the west village costs this much. NO thank you.this place has changed since I lived in NYC years ago. Not sure if new management or inflation or what. But I've never felt robbed by a diner before.

Typical, average city corner breakfast spot. Small but has a lot of activity. One lady who takes orders and delivers them. Ordered the bacon, egg and cheese w/ coffee. Quick and no fuss.

An incredible setting with fantastic service. The restaurant was well kept and clean. However the food was astonishingly below average and bland. The mediocre tasting food in conjunction with the absolutely horrific prices left nothing more than a bad taste in my mouth. Lower your prices, they're absurdly jacked for no reason. 2/5

Ummm, the last time I looked an eggs benedict comes with an English muffin and not on a piece of loaf bread. And I might be wrong but it also shouldn't be covered with cheddar cheese. Heading to the bathroom now

Hate to have to write a negative review for my nearby diner, but unfortunately I have to warn you of their hidden prices and misleading menu. I ordered a pork sausage egg sandwich (pictured $2.95), requested an add on of cheese (pictured $1.00) and an add on side of fries instead of home fries (pictured $1.25). They said that's okay, and confirmed my order "pork sausage, 2 eggs, cheese, on a hero, fries?" I nod in accordance. So that should add up to $5.20 + tax, right? But then I suddenly get a bill for $13.20... If you take a look at their menu (pictured): 1) There is a gap between "bacon, ham, pork sausage ($2.95)", and "beef or turkey sausage ($4.65)". But after I confront them on the bill they insist that bacon, ham, pork sausage, beef or turkey sausage is all $4.65. 2) When he confirmed my order asking for 2 eggs, he failed to mention that it only comes with 1 egg usually and the 2nd one is a $1.00 add on. 3) The cheese $1.00 add on is fine... 4) But as for the home fries ($1.25 add on) sub'ed for fries, which he said is okay... after I confront him on the bill comes he tells me $1.25 is only on the sandwich, but if it's on the side that's $5... 5) When he confirmed my order asking for hero, he failed to mention that a hero is an extra $.75... And that's how they tried to surreptitiously rip me off of an extra $8... While it's not the most sanitary diner, certainly not cheap after raising their prices for a 3rd time, and not the best tasting food... it's convenient and nearby which is why I used to go. But now adding this scam to the mix of issues, it's just not worth it. Nice job Bus Stop, you just lost one of your most regular customers.

Absolutely horrible place, I saw the lack of communication skills they had. When I got home to eat my bagel, the most they did to it was toast it and nearly burn it. I asked for a toasted butter bagel and everything was dry so I basically got toasted bread. The other day my sister witnessed a a fly go on a glazed bread when they left it out to clean the cabinets where the pastries go. Never go to this place, it went downhill a couple years ago and is horrendous.

Never received my order. Perhaps, this place needs to give their delivery people portable GPS devices. I received a phone call from the delivery guy stating that he was outside of my building. I went to meet him, but he was not in front of the building. Ok, that's fine; maybe he was on the way. After waiting a couple of minutes, I called the delivery guy's phone a couple of times, but my calls went unanswered. I also responded to the text message with my apartment building's address that he sent me. Then, I called the restaurant, and the person who answered the phone said that the delivery guy was "lost". After being placed on hold for about 3 minutes, I called the restaurant back, and the guy said that the building does not exist. Um, I've been living in this is the place for over three years so I'm pretty sure that it exists. I proceeded to give the restaurant guy specific directions (e.g. the building is in between this park and this avenue) to pass along to the delivery person. Keep in mind this information is already in my Grubhub address profile, so the restaurant had this information. Clearly, there is some sort of mental delay. Then the guy comes up with a wonderful idea for me to walk and meet the delivery guy who was the equivalent of 3-4 blocks from my apartment. Ummmm. If I wanted to pick up my food then I would have ordered takeout from another place. Also, where does a restaurant establishment get off charging a customer a delivery fee but not have the delivery person drop of the food at the intended address? This fee is in addition to the tip that I provided with my order. So the guy at the restaurant in a very nasty manner said that he had to cancel the order because my apartment does not exist. A few moments later, I get a text from Grubhub saying that my apartment is out of the restaurant's delivery area. Pretty much everyone in this day in age has smartphones with GPS capabilities. If the delivery person had any sense, he would have plugged in my address to find the building. Or at the very least, the delivery person would have answered his phone or responded to my text messages.

Breakfast during Passover. No bread obviously but I give it 5 stars for a full service menu

Not enough cheese on the BGC. Fries could be better. Not so great quality. It's hard finding a diner open when I get out from work. Which is at 4:30 am. By that time I'm hungry and just want some GREAT finer breakfast. Over all the diner looked very clean but I'm not happy with my good quality. I know we are in a pandemic and business are trying to maximize profit but this isn't the way to go and serve food that isn't up to par. This was my first time here. I don't think there would be a second time. I'm still searching a diner to frequent so if anyone reads this and can help that would be appreciated.

The pancakes were nice and fluffy, the Canadian bacon was nice and thick. The entire meal hit the spot!!! Thank you!!!

Such a bummer having to write a negative review of a place I go to often. Bus stop is our go to delivery orders but after today much hs changed. I realized prices went ridiculously up-- and it's not worth it. I ordered the Mexican grill chicken panini sandwich that comes with fries and what a shame it was. The avocados were turned and way too much jalapeños. This was absolutely an unsightly, unappetizing phenomenal. Check the photos out so you can see for yourself. My bf got the penne ala vodka with chicken and the restaurant didn't even bother adding some Italian bread to accompany to pasta. Not even any Parma Cheese to sprinkle on top. My thing is if you're going to increase the prices on all of your items at least do the damn order right. For everyone that wants to get quick foo delivered to your door be my guest but it won't be worth it. Bustop, you've just lost a customer.

The "go to diner" up in my hood. The place does killer breakfast business and it delivers on what it offers. Omelets, egg and meat sandwiches, pancakes fly out of this greasy spoon. The staff is friendly and on top of things and handle the rush professionally. There is nothing quite as soothing as a Greek yelling for an "avena" in Spanish or staff using their "Greek" to respond in kind. Some of the items that I recommend are in no particular order, the Dominican breakfast with a cup of cafe hispano, the chicken salad club sandwich, the New York burger, wraps and their salads. Large portions and quick delivery to boot.

Great place to sit down and have a nice chat with friends. Always a ton of people working so you never have to wait for service. TONS of menu options so you don't have to worry about liking something. I had the greek salad for $8.50. Not great but not horrible. Cucumbers seemed sour. Overall, you will be able to order the normal diner menu items but like any other diner, these plates of food are not going to take your breath away.

I've heard mixed things about this place, but I'm going to vouch for their breakfast food. I don't know if you realize it, but it makes a big difference to a chocolate chip pancakes loving child if the chocolate chips are folded into the batter or are just sprinkled over the top. This is a fold in place, and it's delicious.

Great place! I have been here for breakfast about three times. They have a lengthy menu for breakfast only, I could only imagine how great their lunch and dinner menus are. Their breakfast options are very customizable, and you can change it to the way you like it. I have eaten the pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, and several other breakfast items and they are all great. The best part of this is that the food taste great and is a low price! If you need a cheap quick eat for breakfast, this is certainly the place to go to. I can't say much about the lunch and dinner options that they have here, but basing it off of the breakfast, I'm sure its phenomenal. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Would go here often.

I went to check this place out today and I ordered a hot corned beef sandwich on rye. Cost $9.50. Thinking it would be good decent sized sandwich. I was dead wrong. Never going back to this rip off establishment ever again.

Horrible. Absolutely and unequivocally so. Do not order from here. It is a waste of both money and time. That they are still in business is a travesty. The fact the Yelp makes me write extensively about the restaurant only gives me more room to reveal how utterly terrible it is, and how dim witted corporate is for allowing ratholes such as these to exist on their platform. Do better-- seriously.

It's one of the oldest dinner in the neighborhood, good food, very easy to order food to go or pick up. Tables outside and great service.

Love this restaurant as far as the quality of food is concerned and haven't ever had a bad meal from here over many years of ordering from them. However, there's one recently hired delivery man (within the past few months) who refuses to bring the orders to the apartment simply because he doesn't want to walk up stairs (he's the only one out of their three delivery men who won't, the others have never refused to bring it to the apartment... it has absolutely nothing to do with the pandemic... even if you request contactless delivery, they're supposed to at least bring it to the apartment door and leave it). He also calls you 5 minutes in advance and makes you wait for him at the door. This doesn't prevent me from ordering from them bc the food is consistently good, but be prepared to have to leave your apartment and wait a bit. If it weren't for this I would give them a solid 5 stars because when I order delivery, I do it so I don't have to leave my apartment again. It's also fairly disruptive if I happen to be on a call or have a zoom commitment which is fairly commonplace for me in the evenings.

The coziest diner for literally anything you're craving. They probably have it. I had the Chicken Club, which came full with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers and a splendid combo of fries and onion rings. They never fail to be generous with their servings and food is always fresh!

So I wanted to start off by saying how yummy there Turkey bacon egg no cheese for me breakfast sandwich is like no other guys believe hands down so I don't mind paying what it costs however my children wanted grill cheese this morning and the price was quite high but listen when I tell you it was the most freshest bread I've ever seen the cheese melted to the tea and it was just so yummy and looked amazing it was worth $5.95 bus stop for many years I've been eating here the same sweet blonde lady in the front and there service never fails me thank you bus stop for serving the community for over 20 years

Whenever I must have a crisp Belgium waffle I order it from this reliable neighborhood staple. By the time it gets to me it's a little soggy but i throw it right in the oven and it returns to its crisp state. Best thing on the menu although they do a pretty good job with the salmon and cream cheese bagel sandwich and iced coffee

Alright. I don't want to be that person but oh well. I used to love this place but what's up with the prices skyrocketing? No reason why Tres Golpes should be close to $16 when it isn't even Dominicans making it. I understand that our area is being gentrified but do we really need to please colonizers by taking away affordable food from the people who have built this community and have made it possible for you to run your business in the first place? No thanks.

Wanted some good diner breakfast, you know it was one of those days. Bus stop diner has had a great come up. I've been here several times before, it was our go to diner in college. Usually I'll order an entré, penne ala vodka or Alfredo but today was different. We ordered breakfast specials. Two different omelettes. Mine which was the meat omelette with turkey sausage and my friend ordered the bus stop omelette. Our specials came with toast, potatoes and coffee. There are many different combinations you can get. Food overall was okay. The potatoes were bland, could've definitely done better on those. The omelettes were okay. Dinner entré choices are definitely better. Prices here are good because they always give generous amount of food so we even take some to go most times! Our total for 2 specials came out to about $27.00 without tip included. Customer service here is also great, just need to pick up the flavors a bit.
