Busaba Garden Thai Cuisine - Review - North Park - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Busaba Garden is a Thai restaurant in North Park. Their menu includes Korat-style pad thai, soft-shell crab green curry, and jumbo shrimp cooked in a claypot with noodles and vegetables. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - John Ringor

It’s my 8 time here at Busaba Thai Garden Restaurant and I never tire eating their delicious food. My favorite is their papaya salad, spring rolls and curry egg roll. Tom yum soup is very refreshing and comforting in this cold weather. The owners are very friendly and very talented chefs. They are hands on with the preparation of their food, always serving the freshest ingredients. The food is fair priced and their specials is a must try. Hardworking, amazing small business owners. The atmosphere they’ve created is very cute and I love that they have live plants that’s thriving very well.

It took them a while to bring our food out, but we didn’t mind at all. Food was well worth the wait! Thai tea, pad thai, and red curry was so delicious. Our server was also really nice and accommodating. Ambiance and atmosphere was so nice and so cozy. We’ll definitely be coming back.

If you have a short layover like we did and want a great place to stop in and grab a nice meal, head to Busada Garden. We really enjoyed soups and especially the pad Thai! Don’t miss it!

Busaba is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Every single dish was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making me feel like I was having a home-cooked meal at a dear friend’s house. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more special. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better — a sweet dessert at the end of the meal completed everything perfectly. Thank you so much to the entire team at Busaba. This was one of the most satisfying and heartwarming meals I’ve had in a long time. I left full, happy, and already thinking about when I’ll be back. 💛

I’ve been here multiple times since it opened, and I can confidently say their food is the best ever! The owners Eve and Armera are the sweetest and most welcoming people—it’s always a pleasure to chat with them, they’re so kindhearted and have a passion for what they do. It’s especially touching that their recipes come from home, so nothing feels generic. They even put their own twist on certain dishes, so it feels extra special! My go-to is the Massaman curry, which you can customize by spice level and protein—I always love pairing it with chicken! I’ve also tried the green curry, sweet roti, and the ice cream with fried banana combo. I’ve dined here with both friends and my mom, so I can’t recall the names of every dish I’ve tasted, but trust me, they’ve all been delicious (I remembered my mom saying she loved the sweet and sour chicken, and the mango sticky rice though!) There’s a wide variety to choose from, and it’s great for vegetarians too! Their Thai iced tea is the bomb, the strongest and most flavorful I’ve had. It’s incredibly creamy and refreshing, I’ve tried my friend’s dirty Thai that he ordered and it’s so nice too! The restaurant’s ambiance is colorful and well-lit, and I always feel at ease dining here. I genuinely adore the food—it’s authentic Thai cuisine made with love. I always feel welcomed, and I’m excited to bring more friends to try it out. This place was my introduction to Thai food, and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much for the kind service and hospitality! ^_^ 🩷💖💓💞 Also for some reason Google won’t let me add photos to review but I’ll try to edit this and see if I can include it- because the dishes are so mouthwatering >_< 🌹🌹 Update: I added the pics YAY!

Best Thai I’ve had. Nicest staff from the wait staff to the person that delivered our food. The chef came out to meet us. We had crab puffs, wings, signature rolls (tasted like potato samosas in the best way), and perfect fried tofu. All the sauces were great. For mains we tried pad see ew, basil chicken with rice, and pad kee mao. You can customize your spice level so each of us was able to have the level of spice we wanted. Everything was so fresh. The fried ice-cream was like vanilla ice cream wrapped in a churro. Highly recommend. Don’t forget to get a Dirty Thai iced!

I came in for their soft opening and everything was amazing! We had the papaya salad, veggie rolls, signature rolls, chicken wings, chicken satay, pad see ew, and black garlic salmon—all so delicious and authentic. As a fellow Thai person with high standards for Thai food, I was seriously impressed. I’m also really happy to finally have a Thai restaurant close to home. The owners, Eve and Armera, are so kind and welcoming—they truly deserve all the support. We ended with the fried ice cream, and it was the perfect finish. I’ll definitely be back!

My dear friend, and I tried a new restaurant tonight in our neighborhood. It is a Thai restaurant called Busaba Gardens on 3246 W Foster just west of Kedzie. The food was not only beautiful, but amazingly delicious. I had Pad Thai that was so yummy. We tried their sticky rice and both of us were shocked at how wonderful it tasted in addition to its lovely presentation. This is definitely a place to come back to. If you’re in the neighborhood, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
