I used to live in Thailand and can say confidently that all the food is truly mid. I keep coming back hoping to discover something I like but I’ve never left feeling impressed. I think Thai restaurant down the street is much much better (at a few dishes) though it’s general hard to find good Thai food in Colorado. This last visit, I got this mango sticky to go and was shocked at the portion. This was $9. For less money I literally got double this portion from the aforementioned Thai place a few days ago. I understand rising costs and extra expense of to go containers but it just feels bad as a customer to feel like you’re getting ripped off. If the food was incredible I might keep it in my rotation ad a treat but between all of these factors I am officially giving up Busaba.

Delicious food! We ordered the panang curry and pineapple curry. Both were very very tasty. I do wish the rice portion was a little larger. The mango sticky rice was out of this world with super ripe mango on the side 🥴 The atmoshphere isn't the best. The layout of the restaurant could be much spacier and cozy.

Went to this nice Thai restaurant near McCaslin and US 36 interchange. Party of three on an early Saturday dinner. Seated without any wait at a nice patio table and was greeted by a friendly server. Ordered three entrees from the menu, which took about 20 minutes to arrive at our table... kind of a long wait, although the restaurant was a bit busy for 5:00 pm on a Saturday. Recommend sticking to mild or medium for "spiciness" per the menu - this restaurant's cuisine is authentic. Peanut curry and Pad Thai are highly recommended.

I absolutely love this restaurant—the food is amazing and easily one of the best Thai spots in the area. However, there’s a major downside when it comes to takeout. The portion sizes are noticeably smaller than when dining in, yet the prices remain the same, which feels like a rip-off. I usually order the drunken noodles, pad thai, and summer rolls with chicken or shrimp. When dining in, they serve a generous portion, but for takeout, the servings are much smaller. On top of that, they only include a tiny container of peanut sauce and charge $2.83 for extra, even though they provide a standard amount when dining in. It’s frustrating to pay the same price for takeout and receive less food. While I love the flavors and quality, the takeout experience feels unfair, making it hard to justify the cost.

I'm Thai, and i can tell this is a really good Thai restaurant in Louisville the food is excellent my husband and i love it, and stuff was great, I order chicken basil is really good i love spicy my husband order cashew nut pork is really good too for Appetizer we had Crab Rangoon very good we will back again.

The food was average to below average compared to other Thai restaurants in Colorado, nothing special. My beef with garlic was bland, not evenly cooked/heated. The Tom kha soup was good. Portions were small and price was a bit high, but could just be the area average price. Service was great!

Absolutely delicious! My husband. two other friends and I had dinner here on a Monday and shared 4 dishes. We were impressed with the delicious options and massive sizes. Service was perfect and quick. Highly recommend the drunken noodles with beef. 10/10. We will all be back soon!!

Very good. Cooked perfectly. Great service. I did have one incorrect charge to the bill, but they promptly removed it when I noticed and asked them.

Will say there was a wait but to be fair it was a Friday. The inside was pretty spacious and ha some tu if seating. We got seated pretty fast, well based on how busy it looked so that was nice :)). Will say will give so much props to the servers. She was so nice and tried helping us out since we had to drop someone off at the airport :)) but very kinda she was :)) Now time to rate the food. Pad see ewe with beef 10/10 it was a good consistency and was a good for mild spice. Garlic pepper chicken 10000/10 will say was very juicy and soooo good. Idk but it was seasoned very well Red message 100/10 I ordered spicy and must I say it made me cry so it was spicy enough for me!! Will say I loved it as well but not as much as the garlic pepper Overall I loved the place and costumer service was amazing!!

Unless you're looking for an inflammation and indigestion episode avoid this place. At first I was beyond excited to finally enjoy flavorful Thai food in Colorado that didn't involve going all the way to downtown Denver. Typically Boulder has some of the worst overall food, period. Like, terrible and flavorless. I found busaba and after sifting through a bunch of positive reviews figured I'd give it a shot. While the food was indeed delicious it began to lay siege upon my stomach and digestive tract within 30 minutes. The inflammation was truly next level and unacceptable. I'll never eat here again. It wrecked my stomach, body, and entire night sleep. Like seriously busaba--what are you guys doing to your food? The presence of flavor should not come at the cost of bodily comfort. NEXT!

I've been wanting to try Busaba for a while since I arrived in CO, so my folks and I decided to make a trip to Louisville for lunch. We were seated immediately even though it was peak lunch time, and the hostess couldn't have been nicer. Once she seated us, we talked a bit about the menu and her favorite items--we ended up ordering one of them. It took a bit for our server to come by our table to take our order, but granted, the restaurant was semi-busy. Our server was also very sweet, so this made up for the delay in getting our order placed. For starters, we got the chicken puff (cut into thirds), and shared the pumpkin curry with chicken, pad see ewe with chicken, and drunken noodle with beef--all mild+. Although I'm Korean and can handle spice well, I've learned to always err on the side of caution with Thai food lol. I could have gone for medium spiciness with the food here, but I sometimes want to enjoy my food without my tastebuds being on fire. The food here was good, but it felt like something was missing, flavor wise. I've had a lot of delicious Thai food on the east coast, and to be honest, this didn't quite compare. But I'll take what I can get here in Boulder! Definitely better than another Thai restaurant I went to the other week. Next time, though, I would only get 2 entrees and an appetizer since we had to take a good amount of our food home. Maybe I'll try the Baseline Rd location the next time I need a Thai food fix.

Delicious Thai food!! The green curry was super flavorful and spicy (medium). Crab wontons were OK. We had to wait about 15 mins for a table on a Friday night. Service was attentive and the staff were friendly.

Ordered takeout and the crab Rangoon was SO good! It had a good mixture of crab and cream cheese and the outside was super crispy! I ordered a chicken pad Thai at medium spice level. It wasn't spicy at all in my opinion, but it tasted great. A good amount of chicken which was nice. Price was good for the amount of food as well.

Okay this isn't a fancy place but it's a delicious for its food !!! I fell in love with the pumpkin curry with chicken . Also tried the Roti appetizer which is a must and most popular . Do not sleep on the dessert of sticky mango rice . I'm not a fan of mango but oh this is the exception! Service was excellent. So kind and attentive. Can't wait to be in the area to try again . Wish I got pictures but we literally dug in

Consistently good for sure. Sometimes amazing. A complaint is that They have always provided a small 1.5 oz chili oil to go Along with my $43 (2) entrees. Now they are trying to charge me $2 when I asked for one at pickup. I explained I was happy to buy the jar they sell as I occasionally do but they were out. Don't they make this specifically to go with their food? Busaba Has been going downhill lately in flavor and quantity but was once unmatched!! Staff is not as kind or friendly anymore.

The taste of my basil chicken that I had here is still a great memory. This place was a short drive from my hotel. It's in a strip mall. We took an outdoor table. Service was great and the restaurant passed my water glass refill standard. Portions are excellent and this meal was a great value for money. Along with a few local brews they also have the Singha beer. I am glad I made it to this restaurant.

Was really disappointed in the Pad Thai. I ordered medium spicy, and in my opinion, it wasn't spicy at all. Completely void of that lovely tang with a little hint of sweet that is the perfect pad Thai flavor. Honestly, probably the blandest pad Thai I've eaten. Just very lackluster. Would've expected much better from a place that takes the time to present a fancy decor complete with customized napkins. I added quite a bit of the in-house chili sauce for some heat, but wish I would've tried a different dish. My friend had the pumpkin curry and it couldn't have been better! While she was in a gastronomic heaven I was disappointedly chewing my sad noodle dish. I find it very strange that a Thai restaurant wouldn't make a significant effort with their Pad Thai as it is easily the most popular Thai dish in the US.

I'm visiting family from out of state and this is my second visit. Everything is just delicious. We were a party of 5 tonight and had a some appetizers and 4 main dishes. The service was excellent. Ambience pleasant store front in local shopping area. Standouts are basil chicken; drunken noodles with fried tofu. There was a fantastic beef dish and a curry dish, all superb. You can't go wrong with anything here because it is all delicious. Can't wait to come back. My son , who lives nearby, has been a regular here for years.

I had to give another shoutout to Busaba because their food is so dang good. Their pad see ewe might just be the best I've ever had. The thing I love about their food is that the portions are generous so you usually get 2 meals out of it and they heat up really well. As I mentioned in my previous review, the noodles are perfectly cooked and sauced so they don't clump together or harden. It's great they offer various spice levels and while I enjoy it spicy, the mild plus does the trick with giving a kick of heat without blowing out your palate. The chicken is so juicy and tender. We like to get the roti and tear up little pieces to add to the pad see ewe. Give it a try, it's a game changer.

I went to lunch with a friend. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly. The establishment was clean. I liked their thai coffee and mango rice at the end.

Poor Service and Pad Thai: My wife, son, and I went Saturday 06/14 at about 6:45. We were seated in the patio and waited 10 minutes for our first engagement by the wait staff. Waters were served. Waited another 5 minutes for napkins and utensils. Another 10 minutes before our order was taken. It took another 30 minutes for our food. Normally Busuba is lightning quick. My son and I had the Garlic Pepper dish and they were fantastic. My wife had Pad Thai Gluten Free and hers had almost no flavor just heat. Normally the Pad Thai is killer here. I took some out of town colleagues there and had the same dish and it rocked We've been here a half a dozen times and normally it's fantastic. Tonight was an off night.

Full disclosure, this is the first time I've eaten in a Thai restaurant. I asked the waitress for recommendations and she was spot-on. Excellent service. We chose the chicken puff appetizer which includes vegetables inside 2 flaky crust rolls. The waitress helped me choose a fried rice dish that included vegetables and your choice of a protein. I had shrimp but a variety of protein choices are available, including tofu for those who avoid animal proteins. You choose your level of hot spice. I chose mild= no shot spice. The other 5 people at our table ran the gamut from mild to full-on hot Thai. Everyone enjoyed their choices. I had a wonderful mango mousse dessert. Another person had coconut ice cream and liked it. Bottom line, we will return and maybe get a bit more adventurous in our choices.

I love the food, ambience (even though it's in a strip mall it's still light, bright and clean) and the food is top notch. The curries are all fantastic, and the pad Thai is excellent. The fried tofu and chicken skewer appetizers are delicious.

We met some friends here for dinner on a Friday evening and the place was popping. Very busy. They don't take reservations so we had a good 30 minute wait. The food was extremely flavorful and vibrant. Our server was very friendly and helpful. They have plenty of gluten free options for those that need it. The place isn't real big and the decor is a bit plain but that's ok because the important piece is the food!

My friend has severe food allergies and is gluten free, so there are few places she can eat; she suggested this restaurant as one of her favorites because it's one of the ones that honors her food needs and is still delicious. It was quite good and they were very careful with her food, which we greatly appreciated. I had crab fried rice, and I tasted several curries and noodle dishes, all very good. The servers, one of whom seemed to be the owner, were all very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious, and nicely decorated. It was a lovely experience overall.

This my go-to place for a lunch or a dinner meal when I don't want to spend time thinking where to go, or when I don't want to risk trying a new place for a meal - cause this place is a guaranteed amazing meal. I've had so many meals over here - sometimes even on bdays and anniversaries. I love the vegan and vegetarian options - and they do not use fish sauce or any ingredients with shrimp paste or such, for the items which are marked vegan and vegetarian clearly on the menu. I love love love the veggie potstickers from here - although I do find 4 little ones too less for one order. Other amazing things I've eaten here are Veggie spring rolls (deep fried one), yellow curry, pad Thai, hokky noodles, rad nai, vegetable bliss.. My fav is pineapple fried rice , vegetable bliss and basil eggplant. The eggplant dish is like no other place - we have tried many many places and this seems to stay on top - t it has a well balanced sweetness and spicy. The vegetable bliss could be better with a little more sauce by default - and when I ordered with extra sauce - the extra sauce is almost like 2 spoons more, for which they charged an extra $1 - which was a little disappointing. Also we'd love it if they have a kids menu - for smaller portions for the kids. The normal lunch/dinner portions are just enough for adults. You can order all dishes in mild, medium and hot, or no spice at all. I find medium works great for us. If you like spicy - they have a chilli oil that you can ask for - go slow with that oil - it's excellent and spicy ! (I guess a bottle of that chilli oil is also available for purchase) Flavor wise everything we eat here is simply superb. The staff are kind and bring help us with everything really fast. I love the seating near the window - although all tables are great. It could be a little noisy when all tables are full - but when the meal so good - who cares!

Take out Spring "Summer " rolls and beef Mussamun curry. Really should have split this between two meals, but it was delicious. HUGE rolls each a salad unto itself. Wished for more dipping sauce. "Hot" curry was perfectly seasoned and wonderful. Service was on time!

Worst experience ever, was in here Saturday night and server was " pui " i believe she said that was her name, anyways wasn't busy at all but never once was i checked up on, definitely do not recommend

This is one of my favorite places in colorado. They have some amazing dishes including my fav papaya salad (one of the best that i have had ), fresh vegetable rolls, vegetable potstickers, tom yum soup, sticky rice with mango, yellow curry . They have a separate vegetarian section in the menu. I always get their dishes with medium spice (it had good kick) anything beyond medium is super crazy spicy and too much to handle Ive been here many times and have always had great experience. Their corn fritters and tofu khua were not as good as other dishes on the menu.

Busaba has been one of our go-to restaurants in town for years. They crank out really tasty food, even it's a little on the expensive side for the portions. Our most recent visit we got chicken potstickers, summer rolls with shrimp, and pad see ewe with chicken. The potstickers are not a great value proposition with 4 pieces for over $5, and they were pretty tasty, but not amazing. The summer rolls were very fresh and tasty, but they could really use some vermicelli noodles inside. This type of roll almost always includes them, and having just a solid bunch of veggies stuffed in there makes them miss the mark texture-wise. The pad see ewe was really good, but could use just a bit more of that soy umami flavor that makes the dish so yummy. We didn't order it this time, but the Goong Ob Woon Sen is one of the best things on the menu, and I can highly recommend that dish. Overall, Busaba is a fantastic choice for dinner. Definitely worth a try!

Love this location! Fantastic service, delicious food, and a great ambiance! I love their extensive menu and in the summer it's nice sitting outside. My stapled are the shrimp summer rolls, tom yum soup, iced tea, and garlic pepper chicken. All amazing! Mango sticky rice is also delicious when in season. Can't say enough about this place. I've tried the Erie and Boulder locations and in my opinion this one ranks at top especially since they have a full menu.

One of our favorite spots and definitely our go-to whenever we are in the area and hungry. This place seriously has the feel of being in someone's home and having them cook for you. The food is all so ridiculously good like it has been perfected over generations. Seriously, everything I have tried here over the years has been fantastic and the staff is always kind and accommodating. My baby daddy and I decided stop here for dinner the other night with our little one because we were out in Arvada and I figured that was "in the area" enough. It was pretty busy, but they were able to squeeze us into a table on the patio. They even brought us an extra chair to put our baby's carseat on, so he could be included, which was really sweet. Definitely a baby friendly spot, which all parents are always on the lookout for. My partner got a mango mojito and the pumpkin curry. I got the hooky noodles with chicken, which was new to me and . I always struggle to decide on getting a noodle dish or a curry when we get Thai, so this was a good compromised between the two. I got one level below Thai hot (just plain hot) which is still pretty spicy, so some of the curry flavor was probably washed out, but I didn't care whatsoever. The dish was very warming and cozy with a good amount of veggies. Serious perfection.. I ate the whole damn thing and had zero regrets. We were pretty hungry, so we also got crab wontons to start, which came with some sort of dipping sauce that reminded me of spicy honey, and a sticky rice to share for dessert. The warm mango sticky rice here is definitely not to be missed. It is light, yet indulgent, and the mango is always fresh and basically like eating candy. It's also the perfect portion size for a little something sweet, post dinner, even if you've just stuffed yourself on spicy noodz.

The food was unbelievably fresh and delicious. I had the "dry" seafood Tom Kun which was as flavorful as the soup but with a lighter sauce rather than a full bowl of soup on the scallops, squid, and shrimp with onions. I couldn't believe how good it was. I ordered the highest level of spice, but it was not just a burning, hot spice. it was very spicy but still extremely flavorful. The service was fast and efficient, even though the restaurant was very crowded. Highly recommended.

This Thai food was so so good! I love Thai food and I was not disappointed here. It was packed here Monday night, which is a good sign that the food here doesn't disappoint. We got Green Curry, Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, and Basil Chicken, which were all really delicious. It's also great that 2 of the dishes already came with a side of rice, so we didn't need to order any separately. The waitress was also really friendly and super attentive given that she had so many tables to look after. I was definitely impressed! The price point is really good here as well. I was shocked to find that the total was only around $60! Loved it here!

We came here for my mom's birthday over the weekend. We have been here before and knew the wait was long, so we arrived early and were seated immediately. The ambiance is modern with a nice outdoor patio for when it warms up, and upon being seated we noticed all the tables were well-stocked with water glasses and carafes. The food was delicious, and the perfect level of spiciness - I settled for the Bangkok Street Fried Rice with fried tofu, and it was DELICIOUS! A good sized portion enough for two meals. My parents both ordered Pad Thai, and my sister ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, which was also delicious. Service was good and food came out quick. By the time we left (which was just after 5), they were getting pretty busy, so definitely recommend coming here early.

A friend recommended and 3 of us went for dinner. Probably the BEST Thai food I've had in 20 years. Crab Rangoon, Pumpkin Red Curry, Basil Chicken, Brown Rice, and Tom Kia. All exceptionally good. I definitely recommend! Do not confuse with the restaurant in Erie with the same name. Different owners and not affiliated with Busaba in Boulder and Louisville.

My most favourite & probably one of the best Thai food in denver! Super flavourful, spicy & savoury! Love the drunken noodles, pad Thai, khua, garlic pepper, pad see ew & all the appetisers as well as Thai curry's here. Though the wait time is long, its totally worth it because the food is amazing.

We've gotten take out here so many times they know my husband when he walks up. Absolutely fantastic food! Our favs are drunken noodles (spicy!) pad see ewe, and pumpkin curry. Oh and get the crab Rangoon. You won't regret it!

Still a solid 4 star restaurant. Four of us ordered takeout and it was as good as I remember it. Had a Curry, Pad Thai, and fried rice. All really good. Regarding heat/spice level start lower in your first visit and get an idea as their medium is truer than most places serving to American audience. I wouldn't say it's Thai Medium, but it's slicer than you might expect.

Their pad thai is our favorite around. The staff are really nice too. Just wish the atmosphere was somehow cozier.

It was hopping tonight and we were told about a 30 minute wait. I asked if this was normal for a Friday night as we waited and the host said that usually it's longer and the line is out the door. I said that must mean the food is really good if the wait is that long. The host and one of his co-workers teased that the food was bad. I suggested my husband and I go elsewhere and they laughed. The wait was less the 10 minutes before we got seated and service was fast and prompt waters tefilled and follow up it the food was as expected. My husband and I both got the Pad Thai mine with the fried tofu and mild and my husbands with chicken and mild too. We also ordered the summer rolls. The sauce for the summer roles was really good and more sauce was provided on request. We added fried tofu to it as well. They are good but heavy on the greens. The sauce is what makes it. It's like getting a small salad rolled into a rice paper. There are shredded carrots and one spear of cucumber. Not sure I would order again. Ok now to the Pad Thai. It was good, not spicy or hot at all.. more sweet really, comes with eggs and the fried tofu was really good just the right texture. Overall flavor was good but not my favorite I have ever had. My husband agreed. My husband got a Thai iced tea and was quite happy with that, see picture.. Overall experience was good and the host made the wait interesting. I would give it a try and if I was not from out of town I'd go back for sure and try other things on the menu.

Best Thai in Colorado bar none. Thai family owned and operated. Just cannot say enough about the quality of their work. High demand means there can be long wait times for take-out so make sure to call well in advance. Excellent service, and everything on the menu is delicious. No matter how far you have to drive, this place would be worth it. I never thought Thai food could be this much better than the rest until I ate here.

We drove all the way from Aurora because this restaurant has the best pad Thai chicken. The atmosphere is modern complete with a huge outdoor patio for those looking to hang out in the evening. Their food is sooooo freaking delicious it's hard to go back to other Thai restaurants. Their pad Thai is on the nuttier side rather than the sweet and sour that some places make. Their portion sizes are big enough to share for two or just enough for a hungry individual. Ingredients are always fresh and the chicken breast is tender. I also highly recommend their papaya salad for a healthier dinner option or appetizer. They're located in one of the many Louisville plazas off of McCasalin. Complete with a parking lot. You have to check them out!

All were solidly good and authentic but not outstanding. I would get the pad thai and drunken noodles again. Got medium spiciness and it was perfect for me. tl;dr - Definitely worth a visit. You're going to be getting great food!

The best food and so many options for a vegetarian/vegan meal I always look forward to going, it's worth the wait.

Easily the best Thai food in the area. Friendly staff and consistently excellent meals. You can't go wrong here. Spices are delicious and if you like it hot, they have the KNOW HOW.

Great food, impossible to get it from the restaurant to my belly. They accept pick up orders and give the estimated pick up time after youve already placed the order (ordered via Grub Hub). Frequently the wait is 2+ hours long. My order tonight, placed at 630pm would be ready at 830pm -- after the posted closure hours. It's a waste of time for the customer and for them. I had to call and cancel my order after placing. This has happened multiple times and has left me wondering why I keep trying to give them business. I would recommend they stop accepting take out orders after 6pm if their kitchen can't accommodate.

We ordered take-out so I can't really comment much on interior or staff- but my husband said it seemed very busy. (Halloween evening) We ordered drunken noodles with beef, pad thai with shrimp & summer rolls. Thai coffee & thai tea, as well. We loved both noodle dishes, the flavors were on point. We chose mild for the heat level and it still had a tiny bit of a bite to it. I really enjoyed my thai tea but my friend wasn't a fan of the coffee, more of a preference. We were really looking forward to the summer rolls and were pretty disappointed by them. They were mostly a spring salad mix (we ordered vegetable summer rolls) with a stick of cucumber & a few sparsely thrown in matchstick carrots. It would have been nice to have more vegetable variety instead of biting into a heap of greens. My friend only ate half.

Update 12/4/2020: I would like to update my ratings. A few months ago, I had downgraded Busaba to 3 stars after a bad experience with take outs. But I have been back several times since that and the place definitely deserves 5 stars. The food at Busaba is absolutely fantastic. We love their curries. I am very fond of the Red Curry and the Green Curry. My son loves the Pineapple Curry. We also had good luck with the Basil Chicken, the Sweet and Sour, the Pad Thai. Basically, anything you order there is delicious. The take outs are reasonable priced. They come in generous portions. You will have plenty of leftovers for your lunch the following day. The online tool to order is very convenient to use.

I love Busaba's curries, always fresh and tasty. They skimp on rice, especially on "to-go" orders, which seems like the wrong place to try to save food costs. I call ahead as it's always very busy and can be hard to get in.
