Downtown’s sit-down outpost of a local, family-rooted group, with scratch-made curries and noodle dishes. Covered by Boulder Reporting Lab for reshaping West Pearl’s Asian dining mix, it brings warm service and broad vegan/gluten-free options.

We dined here last week and the food was flavorful, tasty and quite delicious. Quantity of each dish was very good too. Our server was helpful and helped us pick a dish to add to our selection of vegetarian dishes. We had spicy basil fried rice, three sauce tofu, drunken noodles.

Google
Food is incredible and so is our waitress Mirina. They have great gluten-free and vegetarian options and the quality is phenomenal. I’m writing this from here, I still haven’t even finished my food, but it was so good I picked up my phone right away to leave a review! SO GOOD

I had such a wonderful experience at Busaba. The food was absolutely delicious — every bite was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. To top it off, the service was impressively quick; our meals arrived much faster than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and so accommodating to our needs. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was just as impressive — calm, soothing, and beautifully designed. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food, great service, and a peaceful vibe all in one place!

Google
I had the yellow curry it was 10/10 best i've had in a while, the staff was super nice and helpful especially with my many dietary restrictions! The green curry was also very tasty

Google
Best Thai I've had in Boulder. Staff was very friendly and dinner was delightful. I had the Massaman Curry (hot) and the Pineapple Fried Rice (mild). Both were good but I liked the PFR just a little bit better - I recommend both.

I got pot stickers and pad tai, it was delicious and I got myself a second helping, our waiter was very interactive and was very nice

Google
Brand new Thai restaurant in downtown Boulder! We just happened to come across Busaba Pearl Thai, and it was fantastic. I had the most amazing drunken noodles, and my husband loved the cashew nut chicken with their special house recipe. Our server and waitstaff were so friendly and helpful, and the spacious dining room and open air bar were modern and inviting. Highly recommend Busaba Thai for the food, service, and location. Prices were great, too!

Google
Best Thai food in Boulder Colorado! Get there early. Flavors pop and remember to dial down the spice heat level. Medium was warmer than expected. Great tasting food and an amazing experience!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! We stopped here as a party of six in a state of absolute hunger. We ordered and the food came out in about ten minutes and was so fresh! The kids LOVED it as well. And the glasses they serve sodas and teas in are so cute. Def come give this place a try if you're looking for some fresh and fast Thai food! Also has a great ambiance.

Yelp
Stopped by Busaba after a nice afternoon of shopping along Pearl Street - and noting good reviews on Yelp. What an incredible delight it was!

Yelp
We have eaten at the original Busaba in Louisville for years but not recently. I was so pleased they have added more locations and especially for this one on Pearl St on my favorite block of restaurants on the west end. So many nice and high quality options. As I said in my review of the original Louisville location, I like the mix of the more southern Thai dishes as well as the central Thai that are more classically Chinese in style. All of their dishes can be spiced to suit your taste. We opt for mild but I've heard their medium has quite a kick and the hot is nearly volcanic. So something for everyone. The shrimp were nicely grilled and the selection of veggies fresh and firm. I especially loved the mushrooms with the ample and tender asparagus. I love that bell peppers were mostly red, for the color as well as sweeter taste over the green. The soy based sauce was well salted, not too much but not bland. I ordered it with the brown rice and though a small up charge , well worth it. My husband ordered the pork sweet and sour and I took a taste and liked it too. Classic sauce, tender meat and classic veggies. We had the ginger tea to drink and found it a bit sweet ( and we were warned it was pre sweetened when we ordered) but wish we could have it plain. My husband lines sweet tea and he would get it again but I will try something else. He also chose the white Jasmine rice and enjoyed. The portions are huge so we have enough left so we can have another full meal. If you bring a bigger group or some with bigger appetites it could be served family style with fewer dishes. I like having "planned overs" so this was good. Our server was excellent and the timing of the food was set well by her. We will definitely return to try more items. The space is really nice, there is a nice bar in the front with views on Pearl and on a late summer evening, the glass wall is completely open.

Yelp
Busaba is my go to Thai place in Boulder. I use to travel out to Superior to enjoy their food but since opening in Boulder on Pearl Mall they are nearby and go there quite often. I have had their drunken noodles, pad thai and several other of their dishes and have never been disappointed. The service is always great and they are happy to explain a dish if you want more information. Just a really good Thai food restaurant!

Yelp
Items ordered: Veggie fresh rolls, Masaman Curry with fried tofu, Veggie Pad Thai with fried tofu Value: Pricey but reasonable, as large portions make up for the price Service: Food came quickly but servers/the host were hard to find The Review: Five stars because this is a fairly new business with great food and I want to encourage patronage! INCREDIBLE assortment of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The place is very clean. The food is fresh and flavorful, and they are very conscientious of spice level, with a legend on the menu that explains the levels. A classic dish, the Pad Thai was perfectly cooked with a nice assortment of the typical sprouts and green onion, and a fresh beet and carrot garnish. Drawbacks were the harsh lights, the lack of servers, and the fact that they squished us in a corner even though there were plenty of other tables. Also, important to note that the veggie fresh roll is basically lettuce inside of rice paper, so buyer beware. Drawbacks aside, really great restaurant and food comes out in approximately 10 minutes. Unmatched quality, especially for a touristic area. 5/5 from me!

Yelp
We love Busaba and always order from their Louisville location. This was our first time ordering from here and it was delicious. The pad see ewe is soooo good and one of our favorite easy, comforting dishes. My husband gets the shrimp and I order the chicken. Both are tasty and I especially like how they cook the chicken. I'd give them 5 stars, but the roti was suuuuuper oily. The flavor is excellent, but just had too much oil that made it a bit soggy and needed to be patted down before eating. Busaba continues to be our favorite Thai spot in Colorado.

Yelp
Got the pad see ew with chicken, and my husband got the pangang curry - SO good and in the perfect location downtown!

Yelp
Initial feel is very positive secondary to friendly, welcoming staff. I was just about to say that the wait was a little long for the food and then like magic, it arrived. The waiter split the rice into two bowls for us (thank you!). The mussamun curry with pork is Great! And... they did not skimp on the pork! Our attentive server knew that we were planning on walking and then stopping somewhere else for another bite. He had the check ready as soon as we finished, so as to not hold us up. Thanks Kaeden. If I lived in Boulder I would be back soon.

Yelp
This was great till it was sold. The Boulder location was way below the taste and quality previous from superior location. Pad Thai mushy and Service was a bit weak.

Yelp
I decided to try this place because I walk past it all the time and it looked fantastic. The food was excellent. It had a lot of flavor and the service was fantastic. They also played Harry Styles three times which was a huge selling point for me. I am definitely going to come here again!

Yelp
Always order from here when I am craving thai food! Amazing for people with gluten allergies, like myself, and I love the Pad See Ew which I find hard to get gluten free at other places! I have dined in and taken out from Busaba and both experiences taste equally delicious!

Yelp
We had an excellent lunch. Service was perfect. The setting is gorgeous with indoor-outdoor feel (beautiful here right now!!) and food was seriously delicious. We had tidy curry and soup. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Dinner- Yellow curry over potato onion and carrot to die for. Watch the spice levels, "medium" is hot! Chicken satay was a little dry but came with a tasty peanut dipping sauce. Lunch- Basil fried rice was just right, not too oily. Summer rolls were fresh and crisp with a mild sauce. Nice strong thai iced coffee. Both occasions- Decent service offered informed opinions to my questions, was helpful and attentive.

Yelp
Amazing service and great food. Middle of downtown is a charm. We had pad ee sew, tom yum soup (was very nice except we did not like onions in it), papaya salad, panang curry ! Definitely recommend it.

Yelp
So glad that Busaba opened on Pearl Street! I went there with a friend for dinner, food was healthy & delicious!! The service was great, I look forward to coming back!

Yelp
Food was good but prices on their website are NOT reality. Ate at their Pearl St location and entrees were $3 more! I used their darn website to decide to take my family there. Deceiving and not ok! Don't patronize places like this. There is other good Thai around. Bye Busaba.

Yelp
Mussaman Currie with chicken, absolutely delicious and flavorful. Mild spice level which perfectly added just a hint of heat. Thai iced tea, excellent service and great location. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I can't believe this place doesn't have reviews YET!! They have been open for a month now... the window seating is amazing. We weren't lucky enough to snag one. However, super accommodative with our 2 young kids. Food is amazing! The Panang curry was the best! We also had Pan See Wee, which was pretty flavorful. They were able to customize the food order for my 4 yr old. Definitely will come back! Sam was great at his job. Great service!!

Yelp
The pearl street location is an embarrassment to the original location. Our server added items to our check that we didn't order and added 20% gratuity to our table of 5. The portions and spice level are never consistent. Boooo

Melech F.

Yelp
Best Thai food in Colorado. Can highly recommend curries and pad see ewe. Thank you, Busaba!

Christine L.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was lacking. After our food came out no one came to check-in and see how we were doing. We weren't even able to order a second drink since no one came to the table. After finishing our food still no one came to the table. After waiting some time we had to flag down staff in order to pay our check. What could have been a lovely dining experience was soured by the lack of service.
