Busarin Cuisine

"Busarin, the new sister restaurant of Magnolia Café, has high ceilings, a collection of chinaware and leather green sofa booths that contrast with the light pink walls. When you dine here, it’s like being welcomed into Chef Noi’s home. They serve northern-Thai based on family recipes with noodles and roti instead of rice. The standout is a streaky pork that’s braised in a hung lay curry for two days and emits a powerful aroma of ginger and spices." - Michelin Inspector

They didn’t put the Cash Only sign in front of the door or window, we almost didn’t have enough cash to pay for the meal. Its ok to be cash only, but not ok if not telling customers in advance. Of coz, it will be great if they start taking credit card payments. Crabs meat curry and fish curry both amazing, worth to try northern thai style

The food here was absolutely incredible. We started off with the barracuda curry, very unique dish. Second, we had the northern Thai curry noodle with chicken, phenomenal dish. The showstoppers were the roti dishes, we had the green curry and the hunglay curry with lamb; absolutely the best roti I’ve ever had. You would be crazy not to try this restaurant, fully deserves 5 stars.

Family recipes from Northern Thailand. But they will dial down the spice/heat if you ask. No rice for mains (Dessert only). Michelin ratings -- well deserved. Family run. Nice vibes. Cozy dining area. What to know: - limited seating - brunch/lunch only. Close at 4pm - day sister restaurant to the evening dinner restaurant next door (Magnolia) . Same kitchen and owners. Both great Highly recommend.

We stopped for lunch and it was fantastic The food was delicious and fresh and well presented The restaurant is elegantly decorated and the service was excellent. This is a place to visit and return to often! I did review this on my other account but wanted my friends to see this !!

They have some unique menus, but the most of the dishes here are curry. I have tried 3 of their recommended dishes and it was all so so. The seats and tables here are pretty limited as well. I have to say that the staffs here were very helpful and nice. This place is one of the Michelin recommended places. It feels like they try too hard to be unique and different and it is costing the tastes.

Tiny little restaurant in a quieter party of Chiang Mai that probably seats no more than a dozen in its main dining room. The decor is quietly understated and hardly lavish, exuding a more home kitchen feel. We came for the khao soi and got a very competent rendition of it. Instead of the de rigueur chicken drumstick you get several chunks of various other chicken sections. Unusually, the egg noodle was replaced entirely by the crispy fried noodles that normally form just the garnishing. Not sure if this was an oversight they missed out on or intentional but I'm not complaining because it worked for me. The menu is small and the pricing is average for a restaurant of this standard.

The restaurant seats 3/4 tables, reservations are required. but there are tables on the veranda, we were allowed to order in the restaurant and eat on the veranda. the staff is friendly. Be careful, the dishes are quite spicy, and we were warned about this. The roti was very tasty, the meat was too spicy. The dessert had a very specific taste, the ice cream tasted like something was burnt. it was an interesting experience, but only for one time.
