"Bushwood Cocktail Club is technically an arcade bar, in that it’s filled with arcade games. But it isn’t an annoying place where high school basketball heroes spend an hour going for a new personal best at pop-a-shot. Instead, the games are just kind of part of the background atmosphere. Despite the name, the cocktails aren’t particularly noteworthy, but it’s a good place to drink some moderately-priced beer with a few good friends for Happy Hour." - Dan Secatore

Tiny bar but perfect. We are Carolina Panthers fans visiting and stumbled into this Browns bar while we were playing them. These guys love the Browns. Great service and food.

The most awful experience. The door was open. (Was 3:09 p.m) Google said it was open. Nobody inside. I have been there before at the same time and It was open. I waited at the entrance for someone. I guy with a long beard showed up two minutes later and immediately got upset because I was there, blaming me for unlocking the door, when It was totally open otherwise I wouldn’t even try to access. I don’t think being rude would help the business. It could be a better place if they were just more professional and regular in their service. You just lost a regular who has been going there since you first opened.

Would have been nice of the bartender didn't change the music to rap music as soon as her friends came into the bar. I have to say this is not her personal residence. Maybe think of everyone??? I think this bartender is getting a little too comfortable.

Stopped by for a drink. My wife and myself. First night in boston. We went in ordered 2 drinks and boy was this guy the driest personality serving us drinks. I mean if I was behind the counter engage, ask us where were from and how were doing and how was your Christmas etc etc... guy was bitter and looked miserable. Homeboy lighten up bro. We had our one drink and walked out. Went down the street to the next bar.

Only been there on Sundays, but it's a really fun bar in Boston! Reasonably priced drinks ($5 for a Tall Boy) and a surprisingly good food menu (as far as bar food goes - Try the Fried Chicken Sandwich!) They have the Sunday Ticket and a slew of TVs for NFL fans. They also have a ton of board games, Pop-A-Shot and, rumor has it, a old-school NES console in the near future. All that plus it's a Caddyshack-themed bar... Now... How about a Fresca?!

Google
Caddyshack themed bar that delivers standard pub fare and beer selection at standard downtown pricing. The bar video games are a nice touch, but otherwise this is pretty much a run of the mill place with a bit of a kitschy theme.

Google
Its more of a dive bar than a cocktail club, but it does have some arcade machines and the staff is super nice.

Terrible place, don’t waste your time. Bartender is the most unfriendly, dry person I ever met.

Yelp
This was a lesson in not taking Yelp reviews as gospel! I was dismayed to see the three-star rating when a friend suggested we meet up for drinks at Bushwood; fortunately we gave it a shot anyway. The bar is small but well-stocked, with a decent selection of liquor, draft and canned beers. Pro Tip #1: There is no waiter or waitress, so if you want food or drinks, you have to ask at the bar. Pro Tip #2: The bar pizzas, particularly the bacon/chicken/ranch and hamburger, are tasty as hell. Besides decent prices and a cozy dive bar vibe, Bushwood has some pretty awesome arcade games going for it. Come for the basketball hoops, stay for the beer pong, and don't let the three-star rating scare you away. This is a chill place to hang.

Yelp
We had a great time watching the Dolphins vs Pats game. We had the beer and nachos special, the pretzels, the chicken tenders and fries with Old Bay Seasoning. Everything was tasty and served quickly. Great sports bar!

Yelp
So we walked in and sat down by the window. My buddy and I were discussing what to get to drink. My friend used the bathroom so We held off on an order and he came back and sat down we were maybe there for 10 minutes (from walking in to leaving) we were approached by the bar tender (a fat white guy) and was told "if we don't order something we have to get the f*!k out" not hey guys you need to order something or I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Like a decent person would. Honestly wouldn't recommend coming here just in the customer service alone. We were not approached at all prior if we wanted anything but was just rudely asked to leave. Take these 1 star reviews for what they are. They deserve them.

Yelp
Great little bar! The pop a shot and other games actually work, the staff is friendly and the pretzel bites were delish!! Small but fun

Yelp
For a place named for the movie (Caddyshack), I expected WAYYYYY more. For about 20 minutes the only thing I could find anywhere in the place that gave any hint to it's association with the movie was a sign all the way in the back of the bar that referred to Judge Smails. The place was too loud to hear someone saying something right next to you. The pile of old board games in one corner was a bit odd. Far too few places to sit or even stand and enjoy yourself. Will prob not go back.

Yelp
We take a lot of friends here from out of town and also visit with my buddies for the Golden Tee. All the bartenders are amazing and fun. Joe is super cool and down to earth. No cocky attitudes. All the staff have warm welcoming friendly attitudes. Well done!

Yelp
Was at Bushwood for about four hours on Sunday Nov 25. The place was packed. One barkeep taking all orders and one woman running food. Drinks and food was timely. I had a blast, as did everyone it seemed. The food is the basic pub grub and good. Great beer/liquor selection. I will return.

Yelp
Incredible food, incredible atmosphere, incredible spot to visit! Went here on a Thursday night and had a great time: try the bar pizza, the crust is unreal.

Yelp
Nice spot! Hopefully it stays, as nothing seems to be able to last in that location. The place is small- maybe ten tables total and a bar along one wall- so don't try to come with a large group (for that go around the corner to Finn McCools, which is owned by the same people and is HUGE). The menu is a decent size, they have a few good beers on tap, and, while not actually a cocktail club, the cocktails are all named after various Caddyshack characters. Did I mention this was a Caddyshack themed bar? Yeah, forgot that, because (a) the theme is not overwhelming once you're inside and (b) I was barely born in the 80's so I don't think I've ever actually seen the movie. What can ya do, right? They have a few games along the back wall (buck hunter, free throws, beer pong, etc.) which can get a bit loud but seemed fun. They also have a table full of the usual board games (also mostly 80's themed) one would expect in a casual bar. My friend ordered some nuggets which were very good, and all of the other food we saw come out looked great. One of the owners was there and was very friendly, a super nice guy. Apparently he's from the south shore and made sure that they perfected the bar pizza a la cape cod pizza style, so we will definitely be back to try that!

Yelp
Came here after going to golf expo , place not busy service poor took forever just to get drink and like a idiot decide to order burger half hour plus still no food ready to walk out Wont be back. . Is there minus stars think they forgot to put in order

Scott J.

Yelp
Rude staff, bad drinks, unchilled white wine. Also, they're serving beer in plastic cups - way to further pollute the environment cause you're too lazy to wash glasses. Nothing exciting here, move along.

Yelp
Go for pizza & beer and stay for the service! the bartender, guiseppe, is the man! he was funny as hell and gave me a lot of info on places to go around the city. i'm new to Boston and am SO happy I stumbled upon this kick ass little dive bar. I will be a regular in no time!
