So I’ve been here before but tonight was my first time having dinner here. I sat at the bar. The place was empty, maybe a handful of people, which was nice. It was a little warm but I wasn’t too bothered by it. Ian was the bartender and he was the best in many aspects. Not pushy, not in my face but knew when to pop back in to check on me. Made the drinks good! I ordered steak tips and a Caesar salad w/ chicken. The steak itself was cooked perfect but taste wise, kinda bland. Nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix. The house made horseradish sauce was amazing and saved the steak for sure! The Caesar salad was great and the dressing was rich and creamy! The chicken again didn’t have much taste but when mixed with the dressing it was fine. Overall, I enjoyed my night out and will definitely return to try more food! Maybe a burger next time!

Google
Their brunch was fantastic. We got the chicken and waffles, Banana Foster Waffles, and Pork Roll Sandwich which were all amazing. We also got the bottomless mimosas where they bring the entire bottle out so that you are not having to constantly ask for refills. Overall great environment.

Google
We had the Thanksgiving dinner tonight and it was EXCELLENT! I was a little dubious, but Buster’s is one of our favorite places, so why not? With our grown kids off doing their own things we figured we’d give it a shot. It was superb and VERY filling. The flavors of everything were fantastic and the portions for the dinner were great. Combine all of that with the great beer selection here, and it was definitely a noteworthy Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks Buster’s!

Google
Great time @ happy hour and trivia. Food here truly is top notch. Had the wings, (perfectly cooked) fresh pork rinds and the meat loaf. Believe it or not, the meat loaf is amazing!!!! Truly wonderful. Great service, trivia was fun. Just a great night out. Will return many times!

Google
Stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to grab food and watch a hockey game. We tried Salmon and a sandwich and were happy with both. In particular we really enjoyed the french fries which had a very fresh homemade flavor and cut to them (we ended up ordering more). We went for an earlier dinner, but there was plenty of seating inside with lots of TVs.

Google
We came here because of the high reviews and it lived up to them. We made a reservation and had a table literally with our name on it when we arrived. We came on a Saturday night and Sanford was hopin so that was a bonus. Lots of music and street vendors. Drink prices here were cheap and strong. Brussel Sprouts were great. The Beef Stroganoff was bland for my personal taste but just my opinion.

Ashley was our server and was so amazing during brunch. Her customer service was always phenomenal. She was prompt with refills. Checking on us often and was just Pleasant to have her serve our tables. Busters food was also great and delicious. Brunch is a must!

Google
My French dip was fantastic but the Poutine was the real star of this dinner! It was a large enough portion I could have eaten only that and left satisfied. The beer selection was vast with many great choices. Would highly recommend, keep up the great work!

Yelp
Surprisingly good for a very unassuming place. This bistro is on one of the main streets and I think most people come here to grab a cocktail or two, yet the food is really good not just by Sanford standards, but the Orlando area as a whole. I come here a few times and eaten, and never had a complaint. Furthermore, the food has always been great. The burgers are great, the wings are great also. There is a very well curated beer bottle menu, and other drinks are available. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is on top of everything. I hope this place stays as laid back as it is, but if it blows up, good for them. Well deserved.

Yelp
Ordered Truffle fries but mayonnaise was squirted all over them - I guess the fries I've had before never included mayonnaise. They were limp and not tasty Waitress was very prompt but even the brisket in the sandwich I ordered was"tough". Basically, I didn't eat my entire meal- wasteful.
google avatar

Mark I.

Yelp
The French dip was amazing. I'd order it again in a heartbeat the service was top shelf, ambience was nice...an old Irish tavern.

Yelp
Place was cool steak tips was 10/10, wings I got half junky sauce and half BBQ, junky sauce wasn't for me and Bbq was ok all together 5/10, Frites fries 7/10, I had long island 2 of them they were 7/10. Service was good, bartender said they know for they burgers so I'll be back try a burger. Nice bar for drinks in downtown Sanford.

Yelp
We walked over from our Airbnb Monday, March 10th around 8 pm. We had just ate at Dixie Crossroads to celebrate my dad's birthday so didn't try any of the food. Our bartender was Cassandra G and she was friendly, funny and professional. I had the chardonnay and hubby a Lorraine Blond and a Carlsberg beer. The restaurant is very inviting, clean and has great swag. I bought an adorable blue tank top. We can't wait to return and try the food.

Yelp
Cozy little brunch spot with unlimited mimosas for only $15! Cannot beat that. Overall though I would say the experience and food were okay. Service was not very friendly and my pork roll which was supposed to have a baguette came instead with bread resembling more of a hotdog bun (to me... lol). Not too bad but definitely would prefer to try other brunch places than return. Glad to have given it a go!

Yelp
What happened to this place? They used to be pretty good but Sunday's brunch was just awful! I thought I was treating myself to steak and eggs but it was like throwing 50 bucks away!! Rubbery ribeye and runny eggs. Not good. I couldn't eat them. Hell, could barely cut the steak! Same for the chicken. Rubbery and flavorless like it was flash fried boiled chicken in unseasoned batter. Both were accompanied with unseasoned heat lamp home fries. And nothing spells mediocrity more than that. Meh. We should have left after entertaining a big fat fly and a few fruit flies or gnats, I'm not an etymologist, but Florida; so we put up with it but shouldn't have. Bloody Mary was good, so cheers to that! I always smirk when a waitress pre-buses a table taking 95% of the food back to the kitchen and doesn't say anything. What, are we like vampires pretending to eat over here pushing food around a plate?! I guess it's not her fault.

Yelp
We arrived in Sanford on a Sunday and were looking for a dog friendly location for lunch. We found Buster's. They have about 6 tables outside and although the restaurant inside was very busy the outside was wide open. Service was fantastic and they even brought our pup a bowl of water. It was a brunch menu on Sunday. We ordered the Hash and the burger. Both were good.

Yelp
A nice spot in Sanford for brunch. The Brussel sprouts were crunchy and the dipping sauce was really good. The board was good as well I really liked the sausage and spicy mustard, the brie was cold and should have been room temp. The meats were good except the mortadella ~ bologna with fat and almonds is a pass for me . We didn't like the pork belly it was very thick and dried out . Should've went with the steak tips on that one. The prices were pretty high we felt . 9-12$ drinks and the food was about 15$ each appetizer. The service was really good our waiter was nice and attentive. The ambiance is cool very German. We may come back lol who knows .

Yelp
Met some friends for lunch before they got on the Amtrak Auto train to Virginia. They had me when I read the menu for the fresh cut french fries. But better than that the toasted brussel sprouts were fabulous. They have an awesome selection of draft beers. Only had one but maybe the next time there I can try more.

Yelp
Solid Bistro Burger here at Buster's during my first visit for brunch on a (very) rainy Saturday. Buster's - a Sanford staple - is a huge bar with ample seating and plenty of screens to get your game on. Lots of imported beer on tap and - although not my beverage preference - I can see why patrons would be comfortable whiling away hours here. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. My one complaint? They overcharged me by $1 for my burger (menu said $15 - bill read $16). But that burger was delicious and I got a free refill on my soda. Good service here, too. At the bar, my server was attentive and my food was delivered fast and served hot. I was in and out in roughly 30 minutes after demolishing my meal. Next time, though, I'll just be sure to double-check my bill.

Gustavo P.

Yelp
Great lunch at Buster's Bistro! The $5 lunch special poutine was rich and loaded with flavor and the wings were smoky, juicy, and coated in a super tasty buffalo sauce. The pickled onions and pickles on the side were a nice surprise. Great value, awesome food. I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in Sanford.
google avatar

Yelp
That was some great French Dip sandwich!! Many selections on the menu - pub food mainty. Great place, Sanford Florida is cool town.

Yelp
Busters is always a good time. Their beverage selection is unmatched in Sanford, and I always forget how good their food is until I order something. The atmosphere is nice and the owner seems to be a good person too. I've been here multiple times, including drag bingo and private events - and it's just a great medium-sized space.
google avatar

Indera H.

Yelp
We came here for dinner after visiting the zoo. Unfortunately we were not impressed by the food. The poutine did not look very appealing, the steak was overcooked, the crab cakes looked nice but not tasty, the chicken wings were undercooked and the fish and chips were all batter. Service was friendly but very slow, after dinner we had a long wait for our checks.

Nathan S.

Yelp
Great place and good vibes! Their drink specials and happy hour menu are bomb! Let's not forget brunch which is a must try for those that haven't been there!
google avatar

Yelp
I didn't find the food to be that outstanding. Middle of the road... IMO there are better places to eat within a stones throw. Service was good. Cute decor.
google avatar

Yelp
Really terrific restaurant pub! Food was amazingly delicious with a wonderful selection of uncommonly special dishes. My wife had their rendition of beef stroganoff which she absolutely loved! I had an appetizer of steak tips which was delectable and plentiful. We shared an order of poutine, unbelievably good! Dessert was a homemade brownie with the best vanilla ice cream I've ever had. Can't wait to get back!

Yelp
While visiting Orlando for my friend's birthday, I was dining like a local. I recommend taking a detour to Sanford, which is usually out of the way if you are going to the parks. You can avoid the tourist crowds and get a great meal. I ordered the ham and cheese Benedict. It was different from your traditional eggs Benedict and it was delicious. It came with a sunny side up egg, ham, tomato, and smothered in Stella beer cheese. The home fries on the side were also perfectly crispy. They also had a great deal on bottomless mimosas. My friends told me it is also a great place to watch sports with a great beer menu. I will be returning when I'm in town because I have not stopped thinking about the ham and cheese Benedict.

Yelp
We truly loved this place! We went on a Friday night around 6pm, the restaurant was pretty dead but we could tell that this place gets pretty busy later in the evening and especially when its better weather! The bartenders and servers here are very funny and sarcastic which is my cup of tea. They were welcoming and attentive to our needs. They had CBD products here which was unique to me as they sold CBD rolled joints and CBD infused drinks. I had a CBD infused lavender vodka drink which was delicious! Not pictured here, but we ordered a tomato soup with grilled cheese which was just like my mom used to make at home when I was a kid. After dinner, we took our CBD joint and smoked it outside and talked to the person who grew the CBD. She was amazingly pleasant and we got to see their outside area which was very well maintained and looked fun to be in when it wasn't bad weather! EVERYONE was super friendly and inviting:)

Yelp
We went here last night to watch the UCF football game as they were hosting one of the alumni watch parties. Service was good, he recommended a good blonde beer from Germany. The group that we were with ordered lots of shots, those I don't partake in, lol. As for the food, this is why the 3 stars. Mine was good but it was just the Italian sandwich with fries. Can't really screw that up. The fries were really good and seasoned well. My friend ordered the Cesar salad with salmon on it. They came back and said that they had run out of salmon and the ones they had were still frozen. Then they said of yeah, we don't have any lettuce either for the salad. So she got the fish and chips. The fish was breaded very heavy and she was unable to eat it all. Once the game was over it cleared out pretty quick and the DJ started with some pretty good music. Would probably go back but it would not be the first choice in downtown Sanford.

Yelp
The brunch was great! We have chicken and waffles, also biscuits and gravy! It was great. The service was good and the environment was awesome with soccer on the screen and people Joyful and enjoying the early sports! They also do Great work supporting the city of Sanford

Yelp
Excellent food. Fresh made. Options you don't find elsewhere. Just did brunch. Good choices on the menu. Sweet and savory are covered. Sugar waffles are divine. Pork roll- fabulous! Bottomless mimosas. Friendly staff but ask for Lou. I don't know what they feed him for breakfast but he is attentive, fast and just amazing to watch. He handles tons of tables with extreme efficiency. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. Not crowded. Music was kinda loud. Server was friendly and prompt. We had the 2 for $12 lunch special. Mine was a chicken pesto panini and a house salad. Very tasty and fresh. His was a veggie panini and chicken soup. He said it was some of the best soup he ever had. O tall good experience, I would go back.

Yelp
We ate here at n Saturday shortly after they opened. There was plenty of seating inside and they had some outdoor seating as well. Inside has a cute tavern feel. We went with intentions of ordering the yummy brunch options we saw on the website but didn't realize it was only offered on Sunday. We ordered poutine to start. It was delicious. The gravy was so flavorful. Then we had the tomato soup and grilled cheese. Both very good. We also got the bistro burger and fried chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese for a side. Both sandwiches were a nice portion and tasty. The Mac and cheese was different- it was made with egg noodles. The food was decent especially for bar food but nothing spectacular. The service was great. We would probably give it another try for the brunch menu.

Paul M.

Yelp
We are frequent restaurant patrons to Sanford establishments, but this was our first brunch at Buster's Bistro. It was very good. Our meals were simple and traditional: eggs, toast, sausage, coffee. All were good. The sausage was particularly flavorful. The Christmas decorations were still in full spendor and the restaurant was packed. Although we were seated quickly, our food did take almost an hour to get so that was a negative that they made better with a discount. Very good service.

Yelp
Every time we go here I'm constantly impressed with the food and drinks. So this is one of my go to places in Sanford. We always receive great friendly service here. The ambiance here is usually fun with music playing or a band. I've even start my birthday pub crawls here, because it's a great place for food and drinks plus I can reserve a table.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Food is horrible! Tried 2 occasions and 2 different brunch meals and they were disgusting! The open face ham and cheese sandwich and fritttes were gross! It was like the bread was tossed in microwave to melt the ham and cheese and the fries were cooked in old nasty oil
google avatar

Madeline C.

Yelp
I love this place, particularly the beer, the dog friendly accommodations and the bartenders and servers. The food was hit or miss but I still go anyway... but im a very picky eater. Very fun place.

Kent L.

Yelp
Wings were superb! Also had a grilled chicken sandwich and the Italian....very adequate. Out of two brew choices, but wet is wet. Cool enough place!!
google avatar

Tyger L.

Yelp
It was not very busy when we came. Emily was our server and very nice. The food was warm, and tasted very fresh. Music was a little loud, but the place overall was very relaxed. I don't make it out to Sanford often, but would try to come back here.
google avatar

Jamie-lee V.

Yelp
Always a great visit when we go to Buster's. Have been for brunch - bottomless mimosas- they bring a carafe, so no need to chase anyone for a refill. I had a croque with pineapple, yummy bread! Have gone to just sit at bar for a great beer and poutine. Sometimes they have musicians. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. We will be back many more times!

Yelp
Stpped in after dropping off family at the Airport. Great food. Friendly service. Canchez was a friendly and attentive host. Would highly recommend!!!!

Yelp
If you're traveling through Sanford and need a dependable spot for Sunday brunch that's chill and laid back, then Buster's Bistro is where you need to check out. Having been visiting the craft breweries in the Orlando area, we were in Sanford to check out the two that were in the historic district. Lo and behold, Buster's was right down the street from them, and so off we went to have brunch. There's plenty of street and lot parking in the area to where the longest you'll probably have to walk from your car is a block. I think we grabbed parking in the lot across the street from Buster's. What's cool about Buster's is that it's a Belgian-inspired bar where the food and beer served is heavily Belgian. I ordered a couple of bloody marys while I waited for my order to come out. Between the bloodys and the Croque Monsieur I ordered, I was in a full-on food coma, but I was deeply satisfied. Additionally, they make wicked good frites, which I tore into with mayo -- probably didn't help the food coma, but that's irrelevant. Hanging out there for brunch with friends is a fun thing to do at Buster's on a Sunday. They usually have some football (soccer for Americans like myself) match being played, whether the Premier League, one of the other European leagues, or MLS. If you're into football (soccer again, not American football), this is a great establishment to watch while knocking back some beers.

Yelp
Definitely gonna be back and loved our visit! We have been trying to trek out to Sanford more and see what all they have to offer out that way, and we had this location bookmarked to try. There is street parking all around the building, and it was easy to find a spot to parallel park nearby the entry. We walked in and they were taking COVID measures very seriously with a temperature check station at the entry, plenty of hand sanitizer options and socially distanced tables. The servers were all wearing masks as well. I decided to do the Croquet Mousier and the hubs did the BBQ burger. Both were super good! The little one had their chicken tenders and fries and they were tasty also! They have a HUGE drink menu with plenty of draft / bottled beers, wines, and cocktails. We opted to split the Chocolate Mousse and I enjoyed it, and would get it again. The service was excellent and they are dog friendly! Say hi to the adorable Shadow while you're there - he's a super floofy German Shepard that is there with the owner. Overall: A+ Will def be back and loved our visit. Try the Croquet Mousier if you like cheese and ham!
google avatar

Marisa C.

Yelp
5 stars for an awesome first visit! They take your temperature before you're able to dine inside, first restaurant I've come across doing this but it's smart. You're able to choose your table when you sit and the bar is blasting old time music...me jamming out to The Killers.. "Mr Bright side". Our service was great, and were helpful going over the options on the menu. We decided to try the burger, $13 which had beer cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and garlic aioli. It was cooked to perfection, there's nothing worse than ordering a burger medium to have to come out well done. The burger comes with large sliced fries but you can opt for truffle fries for an extra $2. Such a good dish, you won't be disappointed with it! Friendly staff, tasty food, clean and attentive service. Even better inside is pup friendly, can't wait to visit again with my fur baby!
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Pros: *location *great service, friendly staff *follow health and safety measures for Covid -- temperature screening when you come in *great bar ambience with tons of tv and energy *amazing brunch deals ($15 bottomless mimosas) *food is SO good and the prices are so affordable Very impressed by this spot and can't wait to go back
google avatar

Rachael L.

Yelp
Love the happy hour. Good selection of eats and really reasonable drink prices. Would recommend the poutine and wings. Service was great (sat at bar).

Yelp
Seriously one of the best brunches I've had in Orlando. Maybe ever. This place was amaaaazing. I'll start by saying that looks can be deceiving: the atmosphere is dark and pub-like, bars and tvs and whatnot, which seems like the opposite of a hipster brunch, but this is totally bombass food. First win: they served hot drinks on a silver tray. My mind didn't go straight to Belgium but it did go British, which is basically European. And Y'ALL LISTEN. They gave us these little chocolate bars on the silver tray (we had hot chocolate and vanilla coffee), and I thought it would be a stick of milk chocolate. But noooooo, it was chocolate "crème" with this silky white creamy interior and an indescribable deliciousness that I DEMAND be served with all hot drinks henceforth. Second: our waitress had an opinion. This isn't mandatory, but I love it when I ask our server their opinion and they give me a straight answer. THANK YOU (also, service all around was really superb). Third. Brunch. Just all the yum. My fiancé and I ordered truffle fries, the sausage breakfast, and the banana foster waffle- and ima be straight with you. I died and went to Heaven and this is my spirit typing. I saved the waffle for last (it *was* served with Nutella and ice cream, thus making the dessert of our breakfast), and it's probably the best thing I've ever eaten. My spirit thanks you for all eternity. Also- and sorry for jumping the gun- I thought the sausage plate was good. The little square potato home fries are delish, and the rest was pretty standard but good. The truffle fries - damn. That sauce. Plus Parmesan. Truly Belgian level fry quality. I give them 10/10. Will I be back? Ohhhh yeahhhh, as soon as I descend to earth again and inhabit another soul. Thank you, and goodnight.

Yelp
What a find this place! We had time to kill Sunday morning before going to the Sanford airport, so we thought we would stop in and check it out. Amazing Belgian beer selection with a very knowledgeable staff. Our server was very accommodating and suggested I taste a few beers before deciding. The food was great and very reasonably priced. I got a cup of fresh brewed coffee which was accompanied by a small Belgian chocolate bar. Lots of locals here which is not surprising. Well done!

David R.

Yelp
Great spot! Best brunch spot in downtown Sanford hands down. We've been coming here every weekend with the dog and the staff is so nice. Highly recommend!

Denise M.

Yelp
Draft beer selection was excellent. I ordered the frites which were supposed to be twice fried and they were not crispy or flavorful. I asked the server if they were twice fried and her response was she didn't know because she never goes back to the kitchen because it's too hot back there. Salmon appetizer was pretty good, meatloaf was not something I would order again
google avatar

Sky T.

Yelp
This is an all-around friendly and welcoming bar with good food to match. What I like about this place is that it is pretty eclectic as far as what they serve from a chicken sandwich to a gyro or pork belly curry platter. Since it is Belgian-themed, they specialize in fries so definitely be sure you order some of these! I ended up going to here on a Friday night and they had live music playing with laid back locals just enjoying the night. I ordered up some of their specials of the night which was a type of falafel type wrap and chicken curry with some pita and rice. To me, it is not your standard pub fare, but I am here for it! If you order a beer, it'll come with a little serving of chex-mix on a platter. A cute little thing that makes this place very inviting. What I really want to check out is the brunch that this place serves. They have a pretty robust menu from what I can tell and something that I am going to have to check out one of these mornings!

Victoria W.

Yelp
This place is an absolute hidden gym. Why they don't have a waitline out the door on a Saturday for lunch is a mystery to me. First, the service is incredible. The owners are kind, gracious, and absolutely sweet. They bent over backwards to bring my toddler things I didn't even ask for -- plastic silverware, crayons, and a cup of water. We went on a Saturday craving brunch and they went out of their way to honor items off of their brunch menu, which is normally only available only on Sundays. The beers on tap rival some of the most elite beer bars in the country. I'm not exaggerating. Rare ales from across Europe were on tap and there were so many specials, I couldn't keep track. Four people had several drinks, appetizers, and entrees for less than $120. I would've easily expected to spend $300 or more for the quality and quantity we received. Please, for the love of god, make time to visit this restaurant if you appreciate great service and authentic Belgium cuisine. Selfishly, I hope people don't go so I never have to wait to eat there (we will be there weekly now), but this restaurant deserves your business.

Richard S.

Yelp
Do not come here the service was the absolute worst that I have experienced ANYWHERE and I eat out a lot, for a lot of years. I brought my wife here for Mothers Day brunch approx 1:30pm. It wasn't full so we got a table right away. Right away the server informs us nothing on the menu with waffles is available because they are out of waffles. That takes about half the brunch menu off but we didn't care cause we didn't want waffles anyway. My wife did try to order the salmon salad which of course they were out of also. Ok no problem so I ordered the steak and eggs and she the pork roll. We literally sat from 1:30 to a little after 3pm still no food! The only reason we didn't walk out was most of the places since it was Sunday Mothers Day had closed by 2pm. The wife suggested let's just go to McDonald's half joking. (We should've) It was starting to ruin a nice planned Mother's Day in which we drove here from Daytona to enjoy. So it gets better! I literally had our server, the manager and owner trying to ensure our food was next for about the last 30 minutes of our wait while we watched several more orders come to like one customer at a time at four tops etc, other tables were in disbelief as well of the lack of organization. We were at least offered a free beverage out of this ridiculous ordeal. Soooo the food finally comes and very disappointing it was! My potatoes were lukewarm at best and the eggs the same and runny the steak was so so. She did not like her meal much either. But at that point we just ate it to avoid further stress! What an aweful experience! I told her...take a good look at this place cause we'll never be back, ever!

Yelp
We stopped here unexpectedly and found a delightful bar & restaurant that reminds us of Cheers. The place was quaint and both the staff professional & caring & patrons friendly. The drinks were great, beers ice cold, food tasty & delicious as well. The music was nostalgic dating from the 60's up thru 2021. Both adults and kids having a great evening. A place you will want to revisit.

Yelp
I have had my eye on this place for months after I heard about it on a podcast. They mentioned two of my favorite things: Belgian brews and hand made fries. I was sold immediately. Then we showed up and there the cutest brewery dog ever. So then I really fell in love with Buster's Bistro. There are several beer options so if you're not a Belgian fan like me, you can choose from their other beers on tap or their cocktails. The staff was attentive and friendly. They made sure we had all the sauces we wanted and that our beers stayed full. I ordered the Croque sandwich with fries and also a side of truffle frites because I had to. Everything was delicious. I ate too much but I was so happy.

Yelp
I have a special place in my heart for Buster's due to it being the establishment my boyfriend and I went on our first date. Since than I've been back two more times. Always great service and good food. I must admit there isn't too much on the menu that really sticks out to me. The frites and different combinations of sauces are nice, but the entrees don't entice me. Despite all of that we decided to go last night. We ordered the Croque Monsieur Sandwich and Vol-Au-Vent. We both agreed our entrees were average at best. We paid the extra .50 per sauce and opted for suma (which was recommended) and gringo. We both agreed gringo was better, but neither would be something we'd order again. In fact nothing we ordered tonight we'd order again, which leaves us with a limited menu based of our preferences. I don't see us coming back anytime soon.

Having supported Busters over the years it was really disappointing to be so rudely treated by the staff in such a way that was so disgraceful I'd never go there again. They had a temperature check requirement so after entering -the door is really loud-I waited for the server to stop scrolling on her phone to attend to me. She was at the register so I thought maybe it was work related. The bartender made eye contact with me several times so again, I figured they would attend to me when they were finished. Things got really quiet and really awkward as time went on and guests began staring. After about five minutes just standing there I decided to call the friend I had asked to meet me there to let him know it looked like they weren't going to seat me. Just then a couple came in and they immediately jumped to attention to seat them. They were white. I'm black. I told the waitress I was there first and she snapped, " WELL YOU WERE ON YOUR PHONE!!" When I asked to be seated outside she slammed the menus on the bar and told me to just order at the bar since she didn't have to serve me outside and walked off. I left and immediately sent a message. A message that wasn't answered for months until a friend who knows them intervened. Look at the response. I had been paying 30% to 100% tips on take out through the pandemic and that's the best they could do.
