Went for brunch as Charleston is a brunch town. We sat at the bar and it was not busy at all. Our first bartender didn’t know anything about the menu and rather than ask for help, he just left us. I had to grab another bartender who was extremely nice and helpful. Luckily for him he explained how the menu worked and we got our order in for the family style brunch and bottomless mimosas. The food was good but to not really have many options other than a $35 feast isn’t going to do well with competition. It’s good the first time but we aren’t going to want to go back and get that again. Their a la carte menu is very small and odd items that aren’t filling. I will say their brisket and shrimp and grits were really good! Back to the service, we sat time after time with empty glasses. We had to keep grabbing someone to get any attention and it’s not like the bar was busy. The one bartender that took our order, wish I got his name, was definitely the best but he seemed to be the main guy back there and kept busy. When our food was done, they took our glasses too, not asking if we wanted another drink since we were bottomless. For the record, we had 3 mimosas, it wasn’t like we were pounding them lol All in all, the space is beautiful but not sure who they are trying to attract there.
