I recently placed an order from Butler, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of both the food and the coffee. It was a delightful and satisfying breakfast option. Equally impressive was the ham and cheese croissant. The croissant itself was beautifully flaky and buttery, with a golden-brown crust that was both visually appealing and delicious. The ham and cheese filling was generous and well-balanced, making it a truly enjoyable treat. The overnight oats were another highlight. They had a pleasing texture and just the right amount of sweetness, offering a wholesome and refreshing option that complemented the other items perfectly. Not sure if I caught the server on a bad day but he was very gruff and unfriendly. Coffee a bit weak and sour for a flat white.

A cute little walk up coffee shop located in the heart of Williamsburg. Perfect for dog owners or people on the go. I enjoyed my coffee and absolutely loved the cute pink cup it came it, it is all the little details that add up. I did try to walk into a barber shop next door thinking it was a seating area, but heads up, it’s not! Haha - just walk up available at this location. Perfect for the sunny days ahead.

A really cool coffee shop in a neighborhood, not on a busy street. These are the best kind of coffee shops. They have outdoor seating, it's nice to sit outside and enjoy the morning without all the loud noises or cars padding by. I stopped in just for the chai and it was great. Ordering from the window was different as well. The staff was nice and welcoming.

I live nearby and this is my go to coffee spot. It's a quick grab and go situation, perfect for my neighborhood walks. The team that runs it is super friendly and they have my pup's favorite treats.

This is our go-to coffee spot in the neighborhood! The two guys who work there (on alternate days) always know my order before I even have to say it. It truly feels like that everyone-knows-your-name neighborhood spot where locals are appreciated and outsiders are welcome. Also this spot is great for residents with dogs who want to grab a coffee and don't have to worry about those "No Dogs Allowed" signs, because it's walk-up window service (with an alternate entrance inside the adjoining barber shop--good for rainy days!). Did I mention the doggo treats?? My dog will literally sell her soul for their peanut butter biscuit dog treats, and the gentlemen who work there are always happy to oblige. I normally just get coffee, but on the occasion or two when I've gotten food, it's been delish. On any given weekend morning, you'll find a line of eager regulars ready to get their caffeine fix (and their dogs who want their biscuits). We used to be Toby's (now Partners) regulars, but the staff there seem to care less and less as the years go on. But Butler remains consistently attentive and welcoming. We will walk 9 blocks in sub-freezing temperatures for the ground espresso and date muffin. Honestly, there is no one I trust to grind my coffee more than the guy at N8th and Wythe in Brooklyn.

Veggie empanada was tasty, and not overstuffed with many ingredients, it would take away from the crusty, well prepared dough. To drink, I had a iced chai latté with liquid sugar because they don't carry flavors, as a heads up. I enjoyed both items so much, and the customer service was great. Food was prepared quick! If you need somewhere to sit, there is inside and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered by umbrellas, but if it rains, well, you should probably head inside.

A really cute coffee shop in Williamsburg. I was really happy they had a window ordering service since I was walking my dog. I got a flat white and a veggie breakfast empanada. The flat white was great and the green sauce that came with the empanada really added to the flavor. I just wish there was something else instead of just egg in the veggie breakfast empanada. I would go back to try other coffees.

I found this walk up coffee window while browsing on Yelp. It was super close to our hotel, so Nate and I grabbed a latte one morning when we were visiting New York a few months ago. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived, but plenty of sidewalk space and dog watching to keep us occupied while waiting for our drinks. There was some outdoor seating available too, which people were utilizing. They have a pretty basic, limited menu with your standard coffee options and a few pastries. The latte we got was good, smooth and creamy and not overly acidic. I'd stop by again if in the area.

I love me some nice espresso or cortado after a meal and we pottered over to Butler and had a regular coffee and a cortado. Smooth as can be. I loved it. Service was so pleasant made up for the place we had been to lunch in the neighborhood before. I will definitely be getting some cortado when I'm around.

My friends discovered Butler just over a year ago and we've been huge fans since. The pastries are fresh and tasty. The matcha is my favorite brand, matchaful. Their coffee is great. Their milk alternative options are bountiful, like every other cafe in the area. Their breakfast sandwiches are addictive. Their avocado toast always has seasonal vegetable that levels it up. Their indoor seating is comfy and great for cafe-work time, including outlets. However, they do restrict when you can use a computer, based on their most popular times of day. Overall, great spot to stop by, especially on your way to Domino park.

My ultimate FAVORITE coffee in New York. Iced Oat Milk Lattes are chefs kiss. My go to spot basically every morning. Also the friendliest staff at North 8th!

I had the chance to pick up an oat milk latte while meeting a friend to hang out at Bushwick Inlet Park nearby. They only have take out service and a small seating are for you to enjoy your beverage. However they were extremely efficient and fast with their service even though there was a long line once I arrived. The latte itself was super tasty and well made. They didn't burn anything (which is easy to do with something like this). Service was friendly and I left super satisfied with what I got. I'd definitely recommend trying Butler if you're in Williamsburg, near the water, and looking for a tasty caffeinated beverage.

I didn't realize this place was only to go. The coffee was good for what it was - I got a iced latte. They don't have flavors? Which is fine just surprised.

I love every Butler location- they have great pastries and an amazing Chai Latte.

Stopped by here Saturday while visiting Brooklyn. Best coffee I've had in years, really a stand out. The barista was super friendly and cool. Did not try the food on this visit, but looked good. Will be getting coffee here every day of visit!

The only thing that slaps harder than Muji's jokes at the crack of dawn are his lattes. Whether or not Butler serves the best coffee in Williamsburg may be a point of contention, but if you're grabbing a cup as a reprieve from solitude, then Muji is your guy.

This is a cute stop to make if you're strolling around Brooklyn & need a delicious mocha! Barista was friendly and the service was great. Will be coming back for more mochas!

My day doesn't start off without the best coffee, dog treats for our Frenchie Mabel and morning conversations with Muji at Butler on North 8th. Hands down their best barista since Tull went home to Australia. They need more people like him at this location. Highly recommend

Love this spot! Had always noticed the pink window on my walks, but didn't stop for a coffee until a few weeks ago. I'm so glad I did, because the coffee is great, the barista is so friendly, and there's a punch card system that allows you to get your 10th coffee free! Will definitely be back. :)

Horrible service! Coffee "sales clerk" was an asshole immediately after me and my wife walked in (we're an interracial couple btw). Apparently they'd just closed and he said there were signs all over we "should've read". He wasn't wearing a mask either. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, in times likes these a place like this deserves no business...

My wife and I grabbed two lattes and two of their breakfast empanadas one afternoon last week. The lattes were very good and the empanadas were amazing. I had the eggs and bacon one and she had the veggie. Guy at the window was very nice and friendly- we will definitely be back.
