From the man who owns Bombay Street Food, comes Butter Chicken Company, a fast-casual restaurant in downtown D.C. near the Farragut West Metro Station.
Monday through Saturday starting at 11:30am, they make 300 servings of butter chicken until they run out. For $11 you get white rice, a healthy serving of butter chicken, garlic naan, and two sides (channa masala, veggie biryani, or saag paneer). Drinks (beer, soda, Honest Tea, etc) costs extra. For the price and how HUGE portions are (it can easily be two meals), it's a good price. It also taste great- full of flavor and quality meat.
If you don't love butter chicken, they have a giant vat of chicken tikka masala as well.
There's plenty of seating inside and outside, but if you go after noon, expect to fight for a seat. Get yours to go.
