Absolutely loved Butter + Cream in Laguna Niguel. They just launched their new pasta line and everything was so yummy. I also tried their dirty soda, cake, and cannoli — all very tasty treats. They serve pizza too so there’s really something for everyone!

📍 Butter + Cream These stuffed shells were to die for. Easily a 9/10 😮‍💨 The owner makes them with a rich red meat sauce and the creamiest, most flavorful cheese stuffing. It honestly reminded me of a stuffed-shell version of my Aunt Martha’s lasagna (and she makes the BEST lasagna), so that’s saying a lot. They’re just phasing pastas onto the menu, and trust me—you don’t want to miss this. I also tried a dirty Sprite for the first time ever and… WOW. 10/10, so refreshing. And the cannoli cake 🤤 came with a mini cannoli on the side—super moist, perfect texture, 10/10. I’m 100% going back to try the pizza 🍕 Go check them out—you’ll thank me later. Also, I want to note that this location is super accessible, with great parking!!

I tried the new stuffed shell pasta at Butter + Cream and it was delicious. The shells were stuffed to the brim and the sauce was perfectly tangy with fresh basil. I also tried the blueberry dirty soda which was the perfect mix of fizzy and creamy. It's a takeout only spot but I'm glad I stopped by. Definitely trying the pizza next time.

Absolutely wonderful food! You can taste the care and love that goes into each dish. I'm not a big cake person, but the cannoli cake was divine! Not too sweet, honestly just right, can't recommend enough : ) The pasta was also incredible, very good blend of flavors.

As someone who loves to bake, these cookies are phenomenal (this visit I got the chocolate chip and marble). Usually at a lot of places the cookies are too sweet and cakey. These cookies are subtly sweet and have a great texture to them. This is a spot I’d be willing to drive to even though I’m not from the area. Will be coming back!

Possibly the best pizza in Orange County. On par with truly pizza in my opinion. Cookies are amazing as well, it’s a must try.

Butter + Cream made our wedding cake experience so painless! They quoted us a very reasonable amount for our cake, compared to other similar bakeries. The tasting experience was very simple as well, they gave us a box with their different cake flavors and fillings so we could pick and choose our flavor combos. The employee who helped me in person was friendly and easygoing. We picked the cakes up so I can't comment on delivery services. The cake was lovely, moist, flavorful, and I'm so happy with our experience.

Multiple friends recommended this pizza shop and so we went to see what the hype was about, and boy it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious pizza that puts all the nearby pizza shops to shame. Natalie (the owner) and her team do a fantastic job baking each pie to perfection. Furthermore, I was blow away by the friendly customer service. Each time I’ve gone, I’ve been given a sweet treat to enjoy as I wait for them to bring my order. (The strawberry roll is DEVINE.) I highly recommend the garlic white pizza. Every bite was packed with flavor and the crust was perfectly crispy. Overall, I’ve had an amazing experience here and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious pizza and great service. Give this spot a chance, you won't be disappointed!

I ordered a custom cake for my wife's birthday that was a pretty particular request. It was a red velvet cake in the shape of an armadillo. Fans of weepy 90s dramas may remember this as one of the cakes from the wedding in Steel Magnolias. The bakers here totally KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. The cake looked amazing. It tasted great (one of the best red velvet cakes I've ever had). And most importantly, my wife was thrilled. She's been talking about having this kind of cake for her birthday for years. One of the easiest five stars I've ever given.

I ordered a cake from butter and cream bakery for my husband and I to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. (We get our wedding cake flavor every year) normally I go to Susie cakes because it's close. The last few times I've been not impressed. I found this place while looking for other cake options and I'm so glad I did!!! We had the cake today, and it was seriously delicious! 10/10 the buttercream was so light and the cake was so fresh and the perfect chocolate. I will be getting all our birthday cakes, celebration cakes from here from now on! We also discovered it's a pizza place at night as well. Excited to try their pizza next! Thank you so much for making our day so much sweeter.

The bakery I intended to use wasn't able to provide a 75th "princess " cake for an upcoming party. Luckily, I searched yelp and found Butter and cream....WOW! Was I ever lucky? The cake was not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. My girlfriend said it was the best princess cake she'd ever had and our guests loved it. I admit I was a little nervous because pick up was at what like an office complex... No storefront, but don't let this keep you from using this business! they are absolutely top-notch and very affordable

I'll just leave this here... Super solid cookies at a reasonable price! Favorite, the white chocolate raspberry... so unique for a cookie!

Gosh, I feel awful not writing 5 star reviews but it wasn't a 5 star cake to me. Found this place on Yelp. Emailed what I was looking for. Communication was great. Price was $65 for a 6" cake. I ordered a marble cake with raspberry jam and Vanilla Bavarian cream. Went to pick up around 4pm. I thought I had the wrong place. Lights off. Door locked. I headed back to my car and someone opened the door. I got the impression he wasn't happy to be there. I matched his vibe! Paid and left. Got home to unbox the cake and it was super cute however they forgot to write "happy 50th birthday" on it. I had my own 50th birthday decor to stick on top so it was ok. The cake was very light but honestly couldn't taste or barely see any raspberry or vanilla Bavarian cream. I didn't care for the sugary frosting either. I might just stick with nothing bundt cakes. They aren't as cute but never disappoint. I will say the decoration on the cake was very cute and the colors were great!

We ordered for the first time and got a cheese pizza, a Crispy potato pizza, and Burrata and Honey Pizza for pickup. I admit, this restaurant is located in an awkward location, so my expectations were not very high. But I have to say, this IS my style of pizza. The dough and the toppings were absolutely amazing!!! I don't want to hype it up too much, but if you are looking for a great tasting pizza, you need to try this place.

This is the best bakery! We had butter + cream do our wedding cake and it was a hit! They are competitively priced and their quality is like no other. Also it is delicious! Our guests loved the cake and kept asking what flavor it was. My husband is also gluten free and they were able to make our top layer gluten free. You couldn't even tell it was gf! The taste is amazing and isn't overly sweet! Our design was simple but perfect. Thank you butter + cream!

I had my first experience with their cakes in 2013 at a wedding when they used to be called Great Dane Bakery in Los Alamitos. It was the most delicious cake. It was a marble cake with almond praline Bavarian cream filling. It has a special sweetness that was fragrant but not overbearing. I just had ordered the same cake for a family party and it's completely different now. I was so sad and disappointed. The cake is still tasty but definitely not the same. I feel like there was a mistake because the filling is for sure whipped cream with almond slivers. It's 100% not Bavarian cream with almond praline. It's just pieces of almonds in whipped cream. It was $75 for a 9".

Ordered the chocolate cherry cake for Mother's Day and it was a hit! Everyone was asking where we got it from and commenting on how good it was. We did have a hiccup at the start, as the cake order was sent to the wrong location for pickup but customer service was impeccable as they offered us some free cookies and pizza for the inconvenience. Luckily we live close and were able to pickup later the same day. Can't recommend this hidden gem enough. The cake, cookies, and pizza were all top notch!

Butter+Cream Bakery made the most incredible wedding cake and desserts my wife and I have ever had! Our wedding cake was gluten-free due to my wife's allergy and it was so good that when we told people after the fact they legitimately did not believe us because Nataly's talent is so good that her gluten-free cake is still even better than anyone else's regular cake! We also had small fruit tarts, 3 flavors of macarons, & 3 types of cupcakes with amazing flower frosting on top. Each as incredible as the previous! We seriously can not recommend this place enough as it will be the best sweets you have ever had! Thank you Nataly for making our special night even more perfect!

Honestly, they have the strangest location because it's hidden behind a building and you can't see it from the street. It also doesn't advertise pizza unless you look online. Very small takeout shop with no indoor seating and parallel parking. We got the pepperoni basil and it was a very tasty thin crust with a good amount of char. Lots of crispy pepperonis and very savory tomato sauce. About $29 for a large that can feed 3. The young woman and man behind the counter were very nice and they had delicious cookies. The man baking the pizza had good taste in Kirkland shirts.

Ordered a cake for my daughter's baby shower. The cake was adorable! Exceeded my expectations! The cake was moist and delicious! We put the whipped cream and jam inside to lessen the sweetness from the butter cream, I would recommend! Reasonable price too!

Easily the BEST pizza I've had in 10 years in South Orange County! I just tried this place on a whim, as they are a legit bakery by day, pizzeria by night, and I figured who knows better than a baker. I was not disappointed. I got their base cheese pizza with basil: the dough was buoyant & flavorful, the sauce is bright & dynamic, and the cheese combination was top notch. I can't wait to try a new flavor next week, and some of their cakes and cookies. They gave me some of their Cinnamon Churro Cupcakes to go (end of the night), and they're incredible too!

Best dough and crust of any pizza we have tried, plus great, fresh toppings! We tried the peperoni with roasted garlic! Amazingly delicious! Must try! Price seems high, but what is too high for the best pizza around?

I cannot recommend Butter + Cream enough! They were so great to work with on our wedding cake, that we've ordered other special occasion cakes with them too. Our youngest daughter is obsessed with Oogie Boogie and they created the most awesome OB cake for her birthday! Now we are working on one for our son's upcoming birthday. Can't wait! For us, it all started with the cake tasting box, which is so fun to experience! We created all sorts of different combos but decided on their incredibly delicious and unique blue velvet cake with blackberry jam and vanilla Bavarian cream. Yummmmmy! For our wedding we knew we were having our cake iced in a blue vanilla buttercream, so thought it would be so amazing to cut into a blue cake also! ...and it was! It was a show stopper to say the least! During the cake tasting, our youngest daughter fell in love with the cappuccino mousse, so we knew we had to order a cake with this filling for her rapidly approaching birthday. That's when Butter + Cream outdid themselves making her Oogie Boogie cake! I also love that Butter + Cream has a convenient location in Laguna Niguel for pick ups (and pizza). Please do yourself a favor and try Butter + Cream!! They are very communicative, so creative, and do amazing, yummy work!

We discovered this bakery because they were included in our packages for wedding cakes at our venue. To start, their wedding cake tasting box was amazing. The fact that they offer small amounts of all the cake flavors and fillings in a box for you to try at home could not have been a better experience. I wish that they offered a paper or something that offered popular/recommended pairings, because my fiancé and I aren't very savvy with our food knowledge and would've definitely appreciated their recs on that. But still, very organized and seamless experience for tasting. We also used them for a custom cake for my medical school match day celebration. They were able to decorate a BEAUTIFUL cake that resembled a white coat with stethoscope, with so much intricate detail even down to the pen in the breast pocket, and my name written on the pocket. My friends and family all raved about the cake and I could not have been more pleased with the way it turned out. The cake in the photo was quite tall and bigger than we were expecting, and very worth the price ($100) considering the beautiful decoration.

On yelp and door front it says open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 to 1 PM. I came here around 11 AM. It is not open, the store looks completely empty, and every time I tried calling, kept pushing me to eventually saying not available busy serving other customers, which is clearly not the case. Please update your yelp for Laguna Niguel location because there's nothing happening there.

Awful service, awful people. I've loved their cakes but they never contacted me about an issue with the cake and, therefore, decided not to make it AND not tell me they were not making it. Furious.

We ordered a Blue Velvet Cake for our family's Gender Reveal Party. It was a hit! Everyone loved it. Just sad that I could not take the leftovers back home to Texas with me. Also had to pick up some of the hand-decorated cookies from the display case. Will definitely come back next time we are in So Cal!

Ordered from here twice and both times the cakes looked amazing and tasted even better!! They recommended the cocomelon cake to be with fondant to look cleaner but i opted out bc we love their buttercream frosting and we were impressed with how good it turned out!!

Scheduled our cake tasting three days before, received the confirmation text one day before for 11am. We drove 30 mins to the dingy store and was told that they don't have our order ready and won't be ready before the store close. The girl showed no remorse, not even a sorry for the mixed up and was pushing us to come back the next day like we don't have anything else to do but to try the cake!! Like seriously, get some training!! If you can't get a tasting order ready, how can I trust you with my wedding cake??? Your employee doesn't know what she is doing, uneducated!!

This is a wonderful bakery trend pizza store on the weekends! I highly recommend their pizza, served Thursday through Sunday evening! One of the best pizzas we have ever had, we immediately ordered again there the following weekend. Their big kids are also excellent, they have a great selection and are willing to make cakes or anything else you desire to order as well. First class quality and outstanding service, highly recommended!

I sent a variation of photos of classic Pooh cakes to Butter + Cream and they said they could create a cute Pooh cake. I also wanted cupcakes with buttercream flowers in light greens, yellows and pinks. I was hosting a Pooh themed baby shower so this was very important to me. They said they could do this. They don't take pictures so I was not able to Preview any of the items I ordered. I was BLOWN away at how amazing the cake looked and cupcakes. I literally couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked and how delicious the cake and cupcakes were. The cake Was buttercream frosting as well. I'm So grateful to Butter + Cream for Creating the perfect cake And cupcakes for this very special day. The dessert table took center stage as it was simply beautiful. I had so many people ask me who did I have bake and create the cake and cupcakes. Hopefully this sends business their way. Highly recommend!! Will definitely use them Again. Thank you Butter + Cream for being part of our special day.

Awful experience. They have one job and that is to get our order correct and of course they messed it up. I ordered a birthday cake way in advance and specified the writing that goes with it and they put the wrong writing and name!!! So unprofessional. not only the cake has the wrong writing but the color of the writing has leached out. Definitely not going to order at this bakery again. Good luck getting your orders correct for your special one!

The cookies here are INSANE! I wish I got a picture before my kids devoured them. My favorite was the Blueberry Cookie! Blueberries! How has no one thought of this before? They were better than blueberry pancakes! Delicious!

I ordered a smash cake from the Los Alamitos location for my son's first birthday, which was Biggie themed. Not only was the cake so adorable and right on theme, complete with a picture of my son and a crown on top, it was so delicious, and affordable. I've been to several parties featuring cakes from here and have never once been disappointed. I can't wait for my next excuse to order.

$650 cake quote - Communication was okay and responsive. The person who took my call from the Los Alamitos location was not warm or friendly, but it is what it is. The request was for a kids bday cake for which I had clear design information ready to share. The cake was to be for 30-40 kids. The quote came back at $650 with the caveat that not all components would be included. I asked if it was a typo and they confirmed that it was not. Other reviews mentioned that the prices were extra reasonable alongside showing what they had ordered which I found to be a very sophisticated design, so this came as a huge surprise. This quote was $200 more than my other highest quote from a highly credentialed baker.

I called here to order a cake a little more last minute than I like to be, but they were able to still make a beautiful cake for my daughter's Art Themed birthday party. The cake was super yummy, white cake with fresh strawberries. All of the kiddos loved it, but they are easy to please. The other parents, with their far more discerning pallets, all loved the cake too. At least 3 parents sent a message again after the party to get the name of the bakery to order for their own upcoming parties! Definitely would highly recommend!

We decided to book Donna B's as our cake and desserts vendor for our wedding because first, they had a free cake tasting and second, their prices were cheaper than other bakeries we've inquired. Their cake and desserts were also tasty. We definitely recommend them!

My mother in law had a custom cake made for my baby shower this past weekend. I was blown away by their beautiful design -- it was exactly as we wanted it! It had 3 tiers / layers with each one having a different flavor. My favorite was the chocolate flavor . Everyone who tried the cake couldnt stop raving about how delicious it was! It wasn't overly sweet yet had a lot of flavor. It was fluffy . The only bummer was that they were closed on Sunday & they weren't able to deliver it: The cake was ordered a few days before the shower & picked up on Saturday (day before the shower) so my MIL had to store it in her fridge over night... she was very nervous about ruining it during transport but thankfully It was ok. I'm still thinking about that chocolate cake ... I'm sad I can't have any leftovers due to being borderline GB

We order pizza here each weekend for date nite. They occasionally give us some baked goods also. They are absolutely delicious and the folks here are hardworking and friendly. Highly recommend for dinner and dessert!!

Fastastic shop. We ordered a custom cake over the phone for a welcome home party. Our expectations were blown out of the water when we saw it. On the day of the party we had to say "what do you think of the cake?" because people kept walking by it thinking it was a prop. Really good customer service and it was a very smooth process. We also ordered about 100 cookies and let me tell you these may be the best cookies I've ever had. We got chocolate chip and sugar. When we were driving home from picking up the order we split a chocolate chip cookie to sample between 4 of us and by the time we got home there were 9 more cookies missing from the box. We couldn't stop eating them. No matter what you go there for you should at least pick up a few chocolate chip cookies for yourself. You won't be disappointed. The store itself is very unassuming. It's tucked in a business park/strip mall across from Costco. But its definitely a hidden gem. Overall very impressed and will definitely be back.

This is a tiny, hole in the wall bakery with some incredible desserts! I hear that they specialize in custom cakes, but I've only ever gone here for cookies (except for one year I bought my fiancé a giant cookie cake for his birthday). We went today close to closing to buy a cookie, and the owner was nice enough to give us a whole box of assorted goodies! Everything was incredible! My fiancé said the white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie was the best he's ever had in his whole life!

Looooove this place!! They are SO creative and talented with the work they do. The customer service is always very friendly and accommodating. I also love their cookie dough. Ordered some for Easter and everyone loved it! Would recommend checking this spot out!!

We searched around the area for bakeries to make a cake for our 5 year old daughter's birthday. We received many quotes - this was the most affordable and best value bakery that we found. We didn't have high expectations but when the cake was done, we were so happy we had chosen Butter + Cream. The cake was so beautifully done. The colors and decoration fit perfectly for our daughter's birthday theme. Cake was delicious as well. The service was good except we had to wait a bit to get our cake outside the shop on Saturday morning. They only open partial day over the weekend (Saturday), so there was a long line of people waiting to get their orders.

Two words: "cakes" & "cupcakes" if you have a sweet-tooth this is the place for you! I started coming here months ago and I cannot stop! With the amazing baked goods and the nicest staff I have officially found a place that I can call "my spot" thank you guys for the months of deliciousness just picked up some cupcakes for Easter and the carrot one is just AMAZING!

I picked up the cake I ordered for Christmas dessert today and it is a WINNER! But the real winner is the Butter+Cream Bakery which was BUSY with patrons picking up their pizzas....YES! PIZZA from a bakery! Now THAT ought to be good! The young man helping me urged me to come back with "we make great pizza." Oh, did I mention picking up a dozen of the cutest Christmas sugar cookies ever! I will definitely return to this hard-to-find little bakery that's doin' GREAT THINGS!
