How Crumbl has a better rating than butter pecan is beyond me, butter pecan absolutely takes the cake, or should I say cookie? For being the best cookie shop in the bay. Every single cookie here has never let me down, my favorite being the dark chocolate sea salt, I could literally eat 90 of them in one sitting.

I'm not super into sweets, and haven't really been impressed when I've tried cookies from other shops in the mall etc. I decided to check this place out after noticing it going into the game store. I will never buy cookies from any other shop again. My favorite is the sea salt chocolate chip.

Best cookies hands down! Still need to train staff a little more but they will do their best to resolve issues. Trust me it's work it.

Get there at 1pm on a Sunday. All the good cookies are sold out. Even the most classic chocolate chip cookies they don't have. And store close at 5pm. Only the left over cookies dont even look interesting. Not a good business. Don't recommended. GO TO SWEET AFFAIR IN WALNUT CREEK. Their cookies look very appealing.

Local and delicious. My father requested these cookies for his birthday and he loves them! Amazing staff, packaging and made my family happy. Would recommend to anyone who is local and out of the area.

When I saw this place for the first time and saw that they sell cookies, I definitely went inside to buy some so I can try it. I can say the cookies were pretty good, my husband enjoyed it. They do have a lot of unique flavors.

Would be very good cookies if they cut the sugar by about 20% and made sure to bake each cookie by another 2 minutes so there’s no sloppy gooey mess. Instead of cookies being really balanced between crispy edge chewy middle they’re practically wet dough in the middle (<70% of the cookie) if they aren’t browned enough. TOO SWEET. Just make nestle tollhouse recipe with semi sweet chips it’s better

The cookies are amazing, however they never open on time. The staff is unprepared The store is not important to them, its not ttheir establishment. They were suppose to open at 10am. I watched the employee go sit on her car for 15 min. Smh

This is now my favorite cookie shop in the bay. I'm a true believer after seeing my brother post this place on his IG story. I came earlier today and bought 3 cookies: Classic brown butter pecan, banana pudding, and cookies and cream. All three were amazing! They each had a crunch, crispy outer layer with a moist inside. They're buttery and have this pan crust taste to them which stick out from the rest. There were so many other flavors I wanted to try but I didn't want to go overboard lol. Cookies were going for about $3.50-$3.75 each which is regular for a boutique cookie. My ultimate favorites so far is the brown butter pecan and banana pudding. These stick out from every cookie I've had over the years. They're so delicious and tasty that I want a whole box. I really wish they had a Butter Pecan cookie shop where I'm from in the South Bay. The East Bay is lucky to have these cookies! To the owners or whoever is going to franchise this place, please open up in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino, or Mountain View! Trust me, people will go crazy for these. I'm definitely coming back!

Order 200 cookies for our wedding and everything came out perfect. Order was ready as expected, the cookies are pretty decent size, and delicious! We tried chocolate sea salt, walnut brownie, banana toffee, and butter pecan. Banana toffee was my favorite! Very subtle banana flavor. We had around 130 guests and about 15 cookies leftover.

My father-in-law loves teacakes and I am glad there's a location in Concord. I frequent this one, the Fairfield one, and the Pinole one. This one is in a shopping center with a bunch of other businesses. If you want a half-dozen or a dozen then I recommend ordering online to avoid them running out of a flavor you may want. They have special flavors every month so it's fun to taste those.

Being greeted with the smell of butter and freshly baked cookies is a wonderful thing. Super friendly service. We frequent the one in Pinole, so I was excited to check out this location. Same quality at this one :) The cookies are chewy and delicious! Would definitely recommend. Popular flavors do run out!

These cookies are delicious! They have a fun variety of flavors, and taste homemade. They were soft with chewy edges and not too sweet.

The store is very clean with a nice display case of all the cookies. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. I got a few different flavors, they have so many to choose from! The oatmeal raisin was my favorite is was thick and chewy and the perfect texture. I could have eaten 10 of these! I also got the butter pecan, the cookies and cream, banana, and a rotating special flavor which I believe was French toast flavor. All the cookies were very tasty and butter forward. They are chewy and not too sweet. It's so fun that they have special flavors that change so you always have new cookies to try! The only reason I take star off is because I feel they are expensive for the size of the cookie. But if you feel like treating yourself this cookie shop is definitely worth a stop!

Great selection, very flavorful. Hardest part was picking which ones to eat so we ended up with a dozen! Loved them all. Our server was super friendly and helpful. No seating available so it was all to go. Online ordering is available. We will be back!

Now THIS is my type of cookie. Nice crust on the outside and ooey gooey on the inside. The ratio is not too thick, not too thin, but just the perfect consistency. The girl who helped us, I didn't catch her name, but she was super sweet. Explained to us that the locations were Bay Area based and told us all the popular flavors. I'm excited to come back and try more from the menu.

I was excited to try this cookie delivery service to send my SIL cookies for her birthday! I used the website to order a dozen cookies from the Pleasant Hill location in the morning, requesting delivery for the same evening. I quickly got a confirmation email from the Bakeshop and a confirmation text from DoorDash. At the delivery time 6pm, the Door Dash driver called me to say the employee at the BakeShop said they never received the order and cannot fill it. This was very disappointing. The Bakeshop needs to fix their website and ordering system. Sadly, we did not have the opportunity to try the cookies since they couldn't fill and deliver the order. Thankfully Door Dash refunded me.

Wonderful service! We arrived later in the afternoon and it was pretty empty. The store was clean and everything was well labeled. We ordered a box of 6 and each cookie was delicious!

Butter Pecan Bakeshop in to die for! I originally tried the Butter Pecan Bakeshop location out in Emeryville when we were in that area for an event in Berkeley and I didn't even know about their other locations. I was so excited to find out they had a closer location to my house because these cookies are addictive! The shop is small as a pick up only cookie bakery but I'm happy to eat my cookies at home or on the go. My spouse and I have tried most of their flavors and always scope out what their limited time ones are to plan our visits. Our personal favorites are the strawberries and cream, brown butter pecan, birthday cake, and banana pudding flavors (plus a few limited time flavors I dream about lol). The staff at the Pleasant Hill location are always nice and quick. Rarely is there a line to wait in and if there is, it's at max a 5 minute wait while they are actively helping the customer in front of me.

One of the best cookies I ever had. The service was friendly and quick. One bite you won't be able to stop. The ambience is nice. You should try their cookies at least one time Whenever I'm around the area, I have to pass by and buy some of their cookies.

Ok... I may have a Butter Pecan Bakeshop problem. I simply HAVE to go in and buy a box every time I see one. It's bad but I can't help it. You need to try the cookies to understand :') This location is one of four in East Bay, across the highway from downtown Pleasant Hill. Ample parking in the strip mall. Staff were friendly and upbeat. Given the secluded location, there were definitely more flavors available than the Oakland one we typically visit-- a win for us! We grabbed a 12-piece box to try the ones we don't typically see. The flavors we loved: - Banana Pudding - Banana Toffee - Butter Pecan - Cookies and Cream A bit pricy but well worth the quality. Their cookies are fudgy, moist, crispy, and not-too-sweet all at once. Soooo happy I found this chain (but RIP my diet and wallet lmao). Can't wait to see what else they cook up this year :3

My first time at this cookie store in pleasant hill. It is located off of Monument blvd right off the freeway with ample parking. A pleasant Surprise. The cookie was yummy soft with a slight crunch and gooey in the center. This was Buttery goodness. I loved the dark chocolate sea salt cookie.

Picked these up on the way to the airport to surprise friends with cookies. They said they were the best cookies they've ever had in their life, and I agree! These cookies are truly delicious and I wish I knew the secret to make my cookies so soft and tasty. Highly recommend anyone and everyone to try their cookies. The butter pecan was our favorite, but that makes sense haha. So happy that this location opened up. Parking is easy, staff is extremely friendly, and it's right off the freeway

Warm crunchy and delicious. These cookies pack a huge punch and are amazing to taste. Smells so good inside. My favorite is the sea salt chocolate.

Friend send me the Best Sellers Pack, which is supposed to be an assortment of their top flavors. So it was rather disappointing that they sent 6 of the same flavor (Dark Chocolate Sea Salt) and then 3 Birthday Cake and 3 Cookies and Cream. Didn't get to try the Brown Butter Pecan, Dark Chocolate Walnut, or other flavors. Cookies are a decent size. They're right in the sweet spot - not too dense but not too crispy - just right. They are pretty sweet though.

Decided to try their classic - brown butter pecan. I'm usually a chocolate chip girl, but this cookie was so delish that I didn't even miss the chocolate chips. Soft and crispy texture but not heavy like a lot of the other dedicated cookie spots I've tried. The staff was really nice and helped me pick what I wanted too! If you're looking for some delicious cookies in the Bay Area, this is the place to go! Their cookies are super soft and chewy. We ordered their most popular cookie - Brown Butter Pecan and it was to die for. It was not too sweet yet the cookie was still super flavorful. I was surprised that it was still good even though it didn't just come out of the oven. Turns out that their cookies are baked fresh daily! I also got the banana toffee but it was just ok since I couldn't quite taste the toffee. I was surprised that there wasn't a line and that it was empty when we arrived. The employee was friendly and let us know their most popular cookies. Loved the simple decor and how clean it was inside. Turns out that they have 3 other locations - Pinole, Fairfield, Emeryville. Will definitely stop by their Emeryville location soon!

After years of seeing Butter Pecan pics on Yelp, I was excited when they opened a pleasant hill location! It's in the same shopping center where Dollar Tree, Marshall's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and other stores are. You can easily get your cookie fix while shopping. Last week (08/04/2024) I tried it for the first time and got the cookies and cream cookie. I could definitely taste the C&C flavor, which is one of my favorites! On Wednesday 08/07/2024, I picked up some cookies for my mom and me: butter pecan, dark chocolate chip sea salt, and birthday cake. Mom liked both the dark chocolate and sea salt, both of which she took on her trip. I had the birthday cake, which was colorful and delicious. The employees who work at Butter Pecan are so patient and nice. The guy who helped me on my first visit was patient answering my questions. When I came on Wednesday, I was the only person in the store! The woman who helped me that day was super sweet. They have a great rewards program where you earn 5 points per dollar spent. After 500 points you get a free cookie. The cookies at Butter Pecan are $3.75/cookie so I anticipate coming here more than the other popular cookie chain (Which I like when certain flavors are available but is pricey at $5/cookie and some flavors are way too sweet for me). If you like crispy edges and soft cookies, I highly recommend checking BP out!

This is a great spot for cookies. Both my husband and I liked ours a lot, although my Mom thought her maple one was a bit too sweet (maybe because it was maple, lol). The cookies are fresh with a great chewy texture. You can also buy milk with your cookies too. Parking is fine since it's in a shopping center.

Tried this place for the 1st time and the worker was really nice and helpful! Inside is well lit and the cookies are on display so you know what you're ordering. I got 3 cookies: 1. Cookies and Cream. Great flavor! Had little oreo like pieces and white chocolate chunks in it. Crispy edges and soft center. 2. Tea Cake. Very interesting cookie, it was also crisp on the edge and very soft and fluffy like a cake. Didn't really taste like tea but it tasted good nonetheless, just wasn't sure what the flavor was lol 3. Banana Pudding. I think this was my favorite flavor! I really liked the flavor of the cookie itself with the banana pieces in it. It's definitely softer than the other cookies while still having the crisp edges. It was so sfot that it lowkey broke apart when I picked it up The cookies are all pretty sweet imo but luckily I have a sweet tooth lol. Overall pretty good!

Fell in love at first bite with these cookies. They're exactly what I want - buttery, moist, soft gooey center, excellent flavor. The Banana Pudding and the Brown Butter Pecan are must haves. Dark chocolate and sea salt was also delicious. Tea cake was my least favorite because it wasn't as soft, more cake like consistency, and fairly plain in flavor. But the others were so delicious that I'm still giving this place 5 stars. Looking forward to trying more flavors! No line when I went in, service was friendly. In and out in under 5 minutes.

Drum roll please..... now entering the cookies!!! If you're in the Pleasant Hill area what better way to end your shopping experience then by stopping by Butter Pecan Bakeshop located in the Crossroads Shopping Center. I was immediately greeted when entering although my nose had already said hello a few steps before I opened the door. It's a cute little place. No menu on the wall but I like the concept as you get to choose with your eyes. Of course I had to try the namesake cookie and it did not disappoint. I also enjoyed oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip with nuts. Besides your traditional flavors they also had other flavors like banana pudding, and strawberries and cream. If you're not into "cake" cookies that are 1000 calories then this is the place for you, no lie; it really tastes like my grandma whipped these up! P.s. it's off the freeway so a slight detour treat is totally doable! Enjoy!

I've walked by this shop a few times but have never stopped in, that changed yesterday. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was the sweet heavenly smell of cookies. I was greeted by a very kind young man, he helped me through the process of picking my cookies. I got Oatmeal Raisin, Dark Chocolate Walnut, Cookies and Cream, Banana Pudding, Strawberries and Cream, and the Tea Cake cookie. I immediately tried the Tea Cake cookie. OH YUMMY!!! It was soft, slightly chewy, but not overly sweet. My mouth is watering just writing my review. The cookies are large enough to share, and that is exactly what I did, my husband loved it as well. I have to also mention that the young lady who charged me for the cookies was just as friendly and kind as the young man who initially greeted me. The shop is very clean and large enough for several customers to stand in line. I do wish they had tables and chairs, I would totally stay for a cookie and tea. But, maybe it's still to come. No hanging signs. Look for signage on top or follow numeric address. Cookies main ingredient is butter. 2d characteristic may be nuts, fruits, raisins, candies, dark chocolate, sea salt, oatmeal, etc. Just picked 6 popular ones, skipping the candy ones. (21). Single attendant on duty answered any questions i had. Boxed cookies i choose, rang me up. In & out within 5 minutes. Parking available but tight. Not as enthusiastic about cookies like cookie monster. Flavas distinct. Sugarness not overkill. Ate a few, gave rest to family who liked it more. Quality of eats not an issue. Definitely better than commercial cousins. Cookies not my jam. Butter main reason i'm not a fan. Doubtful repeat. YMMV.

Grand Opening is today 4/20! I had heard about Butter Pecan on Yelp, they have locations in Pinole and Emeryville and I had been wanting to visit. Imagine my surprise this morning when I saw an ad on instagram that Butter Pecan opened a location today in Pleasant Hill! It's super close to where I live, so as soon as I got up, I made my way over. Today's promo for their Grand Opening is a free cookie with any purchase. I got their Brown Butter Pecan cookie and a Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and my boyfriend got the Chunky Monkey. Their cookies are sooo delicious! I want the recipes! Their staff was super nice and friendly too! Welcome to the neighborhood and I can't wait to come back again very soon!

Butter Pecan Bakeshop is amazing!! A family member told me about this place and seeing that they were opening a location in Pleasant Hill I knew I had to try them. They are a bakeshop that specializes in cookies and they opened in 2021 in Pinole and they also have a location in Emeryville. It all started when they decided to turn the family's nut cake recipe into the popular brown butter pecan cookie. I came for their grand opening and I'm glad I got there a little early because a little line formed behind me and it seemed everybody was anxious for their opening. They were having a promotion which was a free cookie with any purchase. Upon opening we were greeted by the owner and the staff, everyone was so happy and friendly. The decor inside was nice and welcoming and the smell of the cookies just took over me. They have a total of different flavors as well as special flavors so seeing all of these was overwhelming because I wanted to try everything! Since I was getting cookies for myself and family I went with the 6 cookies for $21 then the free cookie making that 7. The flavors that I chose were: Brown Butter Pecan, Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt, Cookies & Cream, Strawberries & Cream and Banana Pudding. The cookies were all made to perfection, soft in the middle and crispy on the edges just how I like them. I liked the Brown Butter Pecan, it was buttery and decadent and had a nice amount of pecans. But my favorite was the Banana Pudding!! This cookie was amazing and I'm not a big banana fan. It was literally like eating fresh banana pudding but in cookie form, the flavor wasn't overpowering. I definitely can see myself going back for that one alone. The family loved all of their cookies and I can see that this will be our new treat spot. I highly recommend trying them out. The cookies are fresh, made with high quality ingredients and delicious. The staff here is amazing and the prices are very reasonable.

I came here in the afternoon and there was nobody inside except the cashier. He was very friendly and greeted me as I walked in. I was undecided on what to get and he was kind enough to let me know what the popular flavors were. I just wanted one cookie so I got the berries and cream stuffed French toast cookie. I felt like it was baked perfectly for my liking. It was soft, chewy and the edges were slightly crispy. It had a nice berry flavor in the center. The icing on top had the right amount of sweetness for me which was the sweetest part out of the whole cookie. This was a small location but it was kind of spacious since there was nothing else inside except the counter. No tables or chairs either so you had to take your cookies to go. There was plenty of free parking since this place was located inside the Crossroads Shopping Center.

This was my first time trying this bakery as I have heard so many good things about it. I am so glad I did as I discovered I love these cookies!! This is what I got to try: Dark chocolate walnut was so good and perfect! I loved this buttery, soft and moist cookie. Brown butter pecan is the bomb. Oatmeal raisin is so good and chewy! Dark chocolate sea salt is also delicious and I loved how I could taste the sea salt. Banana Toffee and strawberries and cream are my favorite fruity cookies. You can taste the actual fruit they are suppose to be. If you can't tell by now, any of their cookies won't fail you. It's hard for me to pick a favorite as they are all so good! This location had all the cookies well stocked and was open, clean and well-lit. The girl behind counter was so sweet and friendly too.

It's insane how good these cookies are, specifically the banana pudding and cookies and cream. I've been twice, and each time the cashier was really really nice. I appreciate quality food and good service.

New cookie shop in Pleasant Hill in the Crossroads shopping center next to GameStop. We stopped by around 2:30pm and got 6 cookies for $21. A single cookie is $3.75. The cookies are a bit pricey but we wanted to give them a try. I opted for a dark chocolate sea salt, banana pudding, banana toffee, strawberries n cream, cookies n cream, churro snickerdoodle. I must say, the cookies were pretty freaking good, this coming from a cookie snob. The banana pudding exuded so much flavor I loved it. All of the cookies had a lot flavor and were tasty. These cookies were so good, will definitely be back.

The girl working there didn't know anything about the cookies they had even though they advertise fudge cookies online, she had no clue. Super overpriced for what you get. Don't waste your time.

Holy shit these are the beat cookies I've ever had. They're perfectly soft in the center. Their banana cookies - banana cookies! - are absolutely fantastic. I got the banana pudding and the banana toffee and daaamn. I ate so many. I will 100% be buying these when I come out to the east bay. Please come to the peninsula!

Wow!!! These cookies were so good we got the 12 pack and it was definitely worth it. I mean talk about moist and delicious and scrumptious!!! Service was great as well

I've only had one other cookie specialty place around the area, and Butter Pecan Bakeshop cookies taste wayyyyyyyy better than that other overrated/overhyped chain. I was a bit skeptical at first since a cookie is $3.75 and it didn't look that big and thought well I could make myself a couple dozen for the same price, but then I thought I was too busy to shop for and bake cookies. My daughter had an orthodontist appointment around the area, so she and my husband stopped by Butter Pecan and picked up 6 cookies for $21- brings the price down just a bit per cookie. What a nice surprise! The box was great and packaged nicely. Love their stable packaging! I asked what flavors they picked out, and they said they forgot. Great... after some quick research and stuff, I think we tried the following- Birthday Cake (or funfetti)- those edges are everything. Nice amount of sweetness and richness from the crispy-ish edges. My fave part. Center was a lot softer. Strawberries n cream- again I loved the edges. There were some strawberry bits in there too which I liked, but the husband thought it had an odd texture. Tea cake- ?? Thought it was a snickerdoodle, but it wasn't. Really good cookie tho. One of my fave, esp the edges. A bit poofier, more volume in the softer cake like center, a lot less flavor throughout, but I loved it that way Dark chocolate sea salt- pass for me. The cookie and dark chocolate was good, but not a fan with the sea salt. Others enjoyed it though. Rocky road- thought it was chocolate marshmallow and I got excited until the nuts. Whoops, no more for me- dry throat reaction. My son loved this one! Snickerdoodle- or churro? Very soft, semi crispy edges. I loved the cinnamon. Can't wait to try more! We had a quarter of a few cookies leftover and left them overnight for a couple nights, and they were still good. Reheating them to your preference works too.

Three words: Banana Pudding Cookie. Amazing!! Just get it and thank me later. Service is always friendly and efficient. They typically have some seasonal specials that sound tasty too! The wife got a couple of the limited Halloween flavors yesterday and loved them both!!

11/10! We came about an hour before closing and there wasn't many options left so we grabbed them all. They were all delicious!!!! The banana flavors I probably wouldn't have ordered but we got them anyway and omg they were so good!!! I'm very impressed. The service was amazing too. The gentleman working Saturday night was an absolute pleasure!!!!!

I have ordered cookies from here about 5 times through DoorDash and they are AMAZING!!! These are wonderful cookies that are consistently good every time. And then today when I ordered I received some extra cookies with a nice note. I appreciate it so much, I will keep going back to this amazing cookie shop! Nowhere else better in the area!!
