"Butter Run Saloon is known for its wide selection of whiskeys, which makes a bourbon event like the Kentucky Derby a natural fit. On May 5, the bar will be screening the race and serving a special menu that includes Woodford Reserve mint juleps (and margarita specials). Butter Run will also be giving away prizes for the best fascinators." - Eater Staff, Nicholas Britsky

Visiting from Canada was invited to Butter Run Saloon, the place is small but has that very vintage nostalgic look inside and the tables are filled with vintage items that is very cool. The food was good the Fried pickles are a must have. The server was amazing. Really enjoyed the look and feel of this place.

It's a smaller kind of elevated dive- bar that happens to be one of the top ten whiskey bars in the country, if not, at least the state. The food is amazing! No matter what I order, I'm always impressed, and I usually order 2 quarts of their beef barley soup to- go at the end.... its that good!

This is a nice local with cold beer great bourbon selection and tasty food. It's a bit crammed and the music the girls choose SUUUUUUUUUUUCKS but the beer is cold and the menu is solid. I think the prices are pretty good for the value, but seating sucks, it's so uncomfortable, but I think that's sort of the appeal. The bathroom is disgusting and Parking is aweful. But lll always come back. It's a great local.

I used to go here but the older woman owner couldnt be bothered to wait on me or my mother. Never acknowledged us, were there for 15 minutes at the bar. We even tried a table but nope guess we weren't important. An employee of SBA and a 20+ year insurance agent were not important enough to even say hi to. Good luck.

Husband and I were looking for some place different to eat dinner last night. Sick of the same old places and I have wanted to eat here for some time, but it isn't just around the corner from our home. Finally made it here and it was a great decision. Cool atmosphere, interesting items are throughout the establishment, friendly service and delicious food. I had the Chicken and Waffles and hubby had the BBQ Corned Beef with french fries. Not only did the food look delicious, but it was delicious! The beer is reasonably priced too. We will be returning to try the burgers next time. Thank you for a great first impression and dining experience. Highly recommend trying this bar/restaurant.

Good prices, good beer. Food is really good as well especially if you are into sandwiches. They use fairway packing for their meat which is always a good advantage. Worth visiting!

Great place to go. Had a patty melt and fries, it was delicious, the hamburger they used was very good. The other food we saw coming out of the kitchen looks super good too. Would definitely recommend.

I went here this past Friday for a late lunch. Not only was it raining outside but it was raining several places on the inside of the building also. They were putting buckets and pitchers in several places to catch all of the rain. I ordered a salad to go with my lunch and after the fourth bite I see all of this brown lettuce on my plate. The waitress sucked royalty. She only had 3 tables to wait on and she was always in a hurry to get away from the table instead of checking on it to see if everything was alright. When she finally came back she was finally bringing my perch and asked if I wanted to to box up my salad. I told her not I didn't want it because it was all brown and it ruined my appetite. Not only did she not take it off my bill but they turned around and charged me $20.99 when the Menu said it was $13.99. I would never recommend anyone eating there. With all the rain coming in they have to have mold growing in there and I wouldn't doubt it they had rats running in an out of the holes in the walls.
