The 24 Best Things to Eat at Universal Orlando Resort | Eater

"The butterbeer you’ve heard so much about is a butterscotch-cream beverage straight from the Harry Potter books that’s smooth, sweet, impossible to resist, and available pretty much everywhere in the Wizarding World. The great debate about the supremacy of hot, cold, and frozen varieties rages on, but we prefer the frozen version for its icy texture, ideal on a steamy Florida afternoon." - Carlye Wisel

Google
I love the butterbeer. The soda part of it is like cream soda+rootbeer but better. The slush is the same flavor but it's just better. Id recommend mixing the butterscotch foam in with the soda/slush. Would definitely recommend. Will be back next time at universal.

Bucktooth Beaver

Google
It was delicious, and it was a really cool little cart! Great taste, and tasted delicious cold! They also have a hot option, however the cold option is much better! The price was also reasonable, and even a bit cheap compared to the other food sold in the parks!

Google
Your trip to the Harry Potter section of the Universal Studios Japan is incomplete without the Forbidden journey and the BUTTER BEER ( Non-Alcoholic). Just go for it and you will totally fall in love with the taste of it.

Richard Yu

Google
Your trip to the Harry Potter land @ UIA is incomplete if you are not getting a cup of beer butter. But you will realize that it’s just root beer and whipped cream on top. And you also realize that the butter beer barrel dispenser is probably the most prolific dollar printing machine ever invented in the state of Florida. Despite all these, you’ve gotta try this at least once in your lifetime when visiting the Hattt Potter land.

Ryan Taylor

Google
Great drinks. They serve only butter beer from Harry Potter. The frozen one is great for a hot day. There's not much else to say.

Google
If you can catch them at the right moment you can get service pretty fast, otherwise you might be in a long but decently moving line. The butterbeer is always worth the wait though.

SM Jones

Google
The butterbeer was good but I wish you got more soda for the price paid. Portions are small, but its worth trying just to try it.

Google
Grabbed a butterbeer in between attractions. I learned that it has no alcohol 😅 But it was a delicious treat! Reminded me of a root beer float. Definitely overpriced but that seems to be most thing nowadays.

Yelp
Okay, I tried the Butterbeer. Even though I'm not a Harry Potter guy (that's the missus), I did want to try it. I don't drink alcohol anymore so it was nice to have a non-alcoholic drink at the park. It has an interesting flavor. It's like butterscotch with vanilla. Not bad, not amazing, but decent. After 3/4 of the cup though, I was done with it. It can be a bit much! A bit sweet. But not bad!

Yelp
Harry Potter and the gang love butterbeer, so of course I have to try it! (Though I have made my own "adult" version at home, too!). The butterbeer cart is very convenient, and I recommend stopping by before you catch the train in Hogsmeade to sip on the way! You can get it cold or frozen, and you can also get Pumpkin Juice and Lemonade there too if you want. We opted for the cold soda, and they top it with some sort of sweetened cream situation. It was really good, but I couldn't drink more than a little bit - thank goodness we were sharing! It was SO sweet! Definitely worth trying, but just a little warning for others who can't tolerate tons of liquid sugar.

Yelp
After half day of waiting in line and sweating my butt off in universal island of adventure, we were just exhausted. Had to have some cool water saving the last thread of sanity which is left. Thankfully a butterbeer cart was around so went for it. So how is the legendary butterbeer? Does it match the taste standard of Harry potter book? It's basically a sweetened and lighter version of some root beer with light whipped cream, chill but without ice to dilute flavor. Would definitely recommend, will buy and drink at all if I can.

Yelp
Frozen Butter Beer drink was very refreshing and tasty. It was just as good as the cold one. Didn't get the alcohol version yet though. It is a bit on the pricey side though. I think it shouldn't be more than a couple dollars.
google avatar

Yelp
There are three different option for butterbeer: took temperature, hot or cold. I personally like cold the best. The butterbeer is really sweet so you do need to have a sweet tooth to truly enjoy all butterbeer has to offer. Butterbeer is pricey but what can you expect at a music park. I personally believe it is worth it and get it every time I'm in universal.

Yelp
Butterbeer can be had many places throughout Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley but what's better than grabbing some from the official Butterbeer cart?! You can get the regular or frozen version here. Plus you can take a seat at one of the nearby shaded picnic tables though seating is limited. We had the frozen 16 ozs of butterbeer for $7.50. It really is a big portion and it ended up being more than enough for two of us. We had ours in a normal cup but for a few bucks more you can get a special mug. Butter beer has a rich and sweet butterscotchy flavor...I personally love it. The line was supppppper long at the Butterbeer Cart though! Getting it from the cart is kind of a thing you 'have' to do if you're a Potter fan, just because. But you're usually better off hopping over to the Hopping Pot for a shorter line!

Yelp
Oh Butterbeer, how I love you! I am definitely an uncultured swine because upon my first visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I had never seen one Harry Potter film all the way through. (Don't worry, I have now.) I kept walking past all of these carts that sold Butterbeer, which I had vaguely heard of before, so my curious self went over and tried it out. So, it comes as a regular, cold drink or you can get it frozen. There is no alcohol in it, it's just a butterscotch flavored concoction. It. is. AMAZING! I'm not one to hop on something that is butterscotch, but there is something about this drink that is so delicious it doesn't even matter. The prices are moderate, but you should've expected that. You can also get them in a souvenir cup for a bit more. If you're also like me and are not always in the Orlando area to enjoy Butterbeer, you can make it yourself with Cream soda, butterscotch topping and vanilla extract. You're welcome.

Yelp
While strolling through Hogsmeade at Universal's Islands of Adventure, I became aware of this beverage being served at some of the eateries nearby and at a few Butterbeer carts along the village streets. Joe K and I decided that this is a drink that a tourist must try at least once while exploring the world of Harry Potter! There always seemed to be a long line at the drink carts, but moved along fairly quickly. The name "Butterbeer" sounded unusual to say the least. Is it beer with butter in it? I just couldn't imagine the flavor combination. I'm not fond of beer and I don't like buttermilk either! So I was hesitant to give it a try, until Joe bought one for himself. After he gave me his description, I took a taste and agreed that it was kind of like an Italian soda with a double shot of butterscotch flavoring added. Then a frothy layer of cream is added on top to give it a head for that appearance of a beer, but without the alcohol. It's very rich and sweet tasting, which would make a good dessert style drink for those with a sweet tooth. You can also request this drink prepared like an icee, and for an additional charge, buy the souvenir mug. The cart itself is created in that old world Harry Potter theme with costumed server. You can also purchase a few other juices, including Pumpkin Juice and of course water... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBSR-Vkz2RQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2btb5KaYy-w

Yelp
What can I say...it's amazing every time I come back! There's a frozen slush option versus a regular version. I always opt for the frozen one which is amazing on hot days.

Annie B.

Yelp
Frozen with extra cream...nothing more needs to be said! Order one every time you walk by...stupid good!

Yelp
Technically, the butterbeer cart doesn't exist in the Harry Potter books or movies, but I shouldn't complain because the greater accessibility to butterbeers around the park, the better. The line moves very quickly, both here and at the snowman cart, which also sells butterbeer, by the other entrance to Hogsmeade. These carts offer two versions of butterbeer: cold and frozen. The hot version is sold at The Three Broomsticks, Hog's Head, and The Leaky Cauldron. Described as "a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch", the frozen butterbeer has just the right amount of sweetness, and tasted like a delicious butterscotch slushy topped with a creamy, frothy butterscotch head. As everyone else has also described, the cold version is like a butterscotch-flavored, carbonated cream soda. Both are delicious, so give each a try. You simply can't go to the WWOHP without purchasing a butterbeer. The Starbucks secret menu's version just doesn't compare! The plastic butterbeer mug is around $9, and a butterbeer is $4 or $5 for cold or frozen, respectively. The plastic mug allows you to get refills on fountain sodas for $0.99 throughout both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Plus, it makes a great, relatively inexpensive, souvenir.

Yelp
Butterbeer: The drink is drawn from a tap, like a beer, and the dense, whipped topping is added from a separate tap. It is non-alcoholic. It's served in cups, about $3 ($4 for frozen) for a disposable cup and about $10 ($11 for frozen) for a hard plastic souvenir stein. Here is the recipe: BUTTERBEER Start to finish: 1 hour (10 minutes active) Servings: 4 1 cup light or dark brown sugar 2 tablespoons water 6 tablespoon butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar 3/4 cup heavy cream, divided 1/2 teaspoon rum extract Four 12-ounce bottles cream soda

Yelp
SO GOOD!!! My fiance and I loved the butterbeer. Make sure to get the frozen kind! Very delicious and goes down like a smoothie. I couldn't even taste any carbonation in it. For those who don't know, it's not actually alcoholic. Rather, it's a very sweet, sugary drink. It's quite a lot, so unless you LOVE it and absolutely insist on getting a cup of your own, I think you can easily share between two people. The butterbeer is around $6, but you can opt to pay a little extra to get a souvenir glass to keep. We visited the cart fairly early in the morning so it wasn't too crowded. I would highly recommend doing that! We also passed through Hogsmeade later in the afternoon that same day and it looked quite crowded!

Yelp
So we just watched the Harry Potter Christmas show on the castle and we were on our way out when the kids wanted Butter Beer. We were informed that the cart was closed, so we were sent back down towards the castle to the other cart. There was an associate there that said THAT cart was closed. We went back to this original cart and told the big tall guy with long hair and glasses what had happen and he condescendingly told us to just get in the line. We did what he said and the associate firmly told us the cart was closed. We reiterated the whole story to her and she said she would let us in the line. THANK YOU, Sarah, for making the end of our kids' night a pleasant one.

Yelp
You really can't leave Universal Studios without trying at least one type of butterbeer, so my friend and I stopped by the first cart we saw peddling this unique elixir (this cart) and got the Frozen Butterbeer ($7.50, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=V5qDs9kv5rW23Gk06vWGKA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). It has a taste reminiscent of butterscotch, and was definitely on the sweet side. However, the ice helped it from being sickeningly sweet, and also cooled us off on a hot and humid Florida day. Highly recommended that you try this at least once if you're in Harry Potter World!
google avatar

Yelp
You can't get what they sell here anywhere else that I know of! You can get Pumpkin Juice and Butterbeer (cold or frozen) out here. The Pumpkin Juice can be taken home as long as you don't open it. It's just better chilled (though was disgusting to me period). They top their Butterbeer with a delicious whipped topping. In fact, the whipped topping made me think I liked the Butterbeer cold better than the frozen. Once I got to where I was just drinking the Butterbeer I realized my mistake. Frozen is sweeter but cold is stronger so it depends on what you want. Myself, I prefer sweeter. I have gotten to the point where I realize I can't drink more than half of either one, any way. But the woman who made up drinks was fantastic. She had a little phrase for frozen vs cold butterbeer: "Frozen gets the straw, cold gets a mustache." It was a cute little thing to say and I remember it. Either way, the cream is the best part of the drink. Hubby likes to mix it into the drink. You can also get your drink in a special cup but hubby and I were not impressed with the quality of it and do not recommend it. Love: - Butterbeer Frozen Ok: - Butterbeer Cold Hate - Pumpkin Juice

Yelp
For some reason as a child who was reading the books, I always thought butter beer was more like a soft drink rather than a smoothie, but hey what do I know right? The best way to describe the taste is caramel root beer that has a icy type texture and its not as carbonated as soda is. It will cost you aound $6 to get this. Personally, I thought it was okay, maybe I set my expectations too high but it just didn't blow me away like it does for most people. Everyone has to try at least once if they visit Harry Potter World.
google avatar

Yelp
Gimmicky high-priced creme soda and butterscotch aside (because that's all it is...) It's not that bad and worth trying at least once. The one star is because after receiving the frozen butterbeer, I requested a couple more straws. When I was fed some line about how "the special recipe could turn bitter, etc..." I told him I understand he's supposed to say that, but three kids are sharing this drink, so please give me a couple more straws. He hands me one more and says "be careful". Really? I grabbed the additional straw I needed and left. Refusing to give out additional straws? I'm not mad at this particular employee, because this is what I assume they're told to say based on that first line he told me. That's ridiculous that this is how they're trained to respond. The soda is $7.50 for crying out loud! This park can afford to distribute more straws when guests request it...

Yelp
This is a great and fun location to score some butterbeer! Yes, the line does get very long! We were here during Spring Break and the park was at capacity, but I have been here before, and the lines usually get long no matter what season! My daughter loves the frozen butterbeer. It is scrumptious! Unfortunately, their machine was not working for the frozen version at the time we arrived. True, we could have gone to another location, but we decided to try the cold version instead. Not quite as good as the frozen, but very refreshing. The froth on the top is sweet (reminds me of the salted caramel sweet foam from Starbucks) and the beverage in the cup is not quite as sweet, like a vanilla soda with a bit of a bite to it. It was good! We like trying new things, and it gets very hot, so good way to stay hydrated in the spirit of Harry Potter! This is The Place for good photo opps! The train is directly in front of the cart and the shops are all around! The first time we came we got the souvenir cup (I am not sure if they currently have them during COVID) but we were not interested this time. This is a must do activity at least once a visit! Especially if you come only here every few years.

Amira Y.

Yelp
I had the frozen Butter Beer. It's was different and very good! It's a pricey drink but it doesn't disappoint, unless you don't like sweet drinks.
google avatar

Charles L.

Yelp
My friend got a free butterbeer for her "freed house elf" costume. I bet you could get a free one at the cart for having a "theme park birthday pin" too. I liked the butterbeer for what it was. It tastes like a toffee frappucino. It's good but I'm glad I shared it with my friend. For those of you curious about how much this whimsical experience will set you back, you can get a frozen butterbeer for $6.50 and for $12, you can get yours served in a commemorative souvenir cup that lets you get free soda refills around the park.
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
An absolute must!!! If you are in Harry Potter World and don't try the buttterbeer, you're truly missing out. The butterbeer is a bit pricy, but totally worth it! I could drink these all day. On a hot day, the frozen butter beer is to die for. I wish I could buy it in bulk to take home! Employees play the part as if you are in a Harry potter movie. I can't wait to return back to universal for the butterbeer!
google avatar

James F.

Yelp
This thing they call butter beer is the shit!!! Located in the hogsmeade village from the Harry potter series, this rolling taproom delivers the best non alcoholic drink around. A cross between cream soda and root beer this frothy drink destroys your regular type soda. With a frothy top that leaves a for sure milk mustache you must try. The lines are lengthy for this exclusive drink only available at universal. But what the hell it's worth it. Skip the gilly water though. Five bucks for bottled water? You can bring your own in so don't waste precious dollars on that.
google avatar

Jack R.

Yelp
When asked if you want frozen or regular, do yourself a favor and pick the frozen. It takes much better than the regular. Think frozen butterscotch with vanilla softserve, all in a souvenir mug if you're willing to pay a little extra for it. I'm not a fan of the taste (we tried both) but I think it's a great concept. Would I drink it if it weren't marketed to me in a great way? No. Hence, the 3 stars. Oh, and if anyone tries to sell you Pumpkin Juice, avoid it. It tastes like pumpkin syrup mixed with cold medicine. Gross.
google avatar

Kristin T.

Yelp
My life is complete! I just wanted a picture of Butterbeer to make everyone at home jealous haha. But no, ever since the park opened I've been dying to try it! I even considered making my own but reading reviews it's not the same or too sweet. One word, it tastes AMAZING. Do get the frozen one! I liked it better. Kind of like a butterscotch float. The non frozen tasted similar to a rootbeer float with hints of butterscotch and it's carbonated. I can see the drinks being too sweet for some but I love sweets so it tasted good to me. I don't suggest getting pumpkin juice though unless you just want it for the experience. That was way too sweet for me and tasted bad. I don't even know how to describe it, like an over sweetened chai tea? I didn't have to wait in a long line but saw it was ridiculously long later! Tip: if you eat at the three broomsticks you can order it there, also!! Look for a worker outside the restaurant. They will take your butterbeer order on a tablet and bring it out to you! No waiting in line, just a heads up!
google avatar

Rebecca Y.

Yelp
This cart serves two types of butterbeer: Chilled and Frozen. They are both nonalcoholic. Chilled butterbeer is very much like cream soda topped with a dense foamy butterscotch-flavored 'head'. Frozen butterbeer is a little less sweet, and it's a slush that is also like cream soda with the same butterscotch-flavored 'head'. People go nuts over this stuff. My favorite was the chilled version, and it wasn't even quite as sweet as I thought it would be: it's about as sweet as a soft drink. I thought it was clever to combine the two different components of the head and the soda part, which have two distinct flavors and lets you control how much of each flavor you get when you sip it. You've got to try them. If the line is long, look around for other more hidden-away places to buy beverages which might have shorter lines, as you can get it almost anywhere. These two are the most popular drinks at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but they're not the only ones. Don't miss the Hot Butterbeer (think white chocolate-butterscotch steamer), Fishy Green Ale, and the others, which you can find at other beverage stores or in restaurants like the Leaky Cauldron.
google avatar

Jason V.

Yelp
Harry Potter Classic. Light but filling. This comes either kid friendly or adult style. I would say on a day like today, you can't go wrong with it frosty style.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
I had no idea what to expect but after seeing the films I was very interested in tasting butterbeer. Wow! Its like bubbly cream soda, butterscotch, heavy cream goodness. A really nice tasty cold treat on a hot day.
google avatar

Summer B.

Yelp
Yummy! Have it frozen, regular or hot! They even have it as an ice cream! Soooooooo goood! My family has about 4 a day when we came! $6.50 each for the butter beer but you can easier split one with another person to share! It's a yummy treat for hot day or cold days! You can also order the drinks inside the restaurant too as well to cut your wait time in line!
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
Two words: FROZEN BUTTERBEER!!!! This drink is amazing! I think it's the marshmallowey topping that I am in love with, but the drink itself is like a frozen root bear/cream soda. It's wonderful if you like any of those beverages. You must not leave here without one, or two!
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Long line. Kids didn't like their drinks. The butter beer is just cream soda. Wouldn't let us opt out of the whipped cream on top even when we cited potential allergies! Don't waste your money. My daughter loves lemonade. She didn't like their bottled lemonade. Disappointed dad after spending $13.75 on two stupid drinks.
google avatar

Hannah R.

Yelp
I couldn't leave Universal without stopping by and grabbing some Butterbeer. Three friends and I ordered 2 Butterbeers to taste and that was more than enough to drink and take pictures. We ordered one cold and one frozen each $6. I liked the frozen way better but they were both good.
google avatar

Kenny H.

Yelp
If I could rate this place ZERO stars I would. If you have any kind of FOOD ALLERGY stay AWAY. They are RUDE and will not remove and part of the drink ( cream topping) even upon allergy notification. Sh
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
frozzzzzen butterbeer! my little hot (90 degrees in February) wizard heart loves this. it wasn't super busy so the line was short and i love that they stay in character the whole time and are super friendly. i can't wait to get more when i go back!
google avatar

Mike O.

Yelp
I love butterbeer!! The taste can be subjective, I'm not too big on sweets, but I got the frozen version of butterbeer. I expected a way sweeter taste but it was perfect for me. Tasted like root beer infused with butterscotch and caramel.
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
You can find butterbeer everywhere in the Harry Potter theme parts of universal and islands of adventure. The cafeteria tends to have the shortest line and the shops that serve butter beer tend to take forever (I am guessing they are ordering the hamburger and fries they don't have). So butter beer comes in 6 different forms! 1. Butter beer latte... which is the most accurate representation since the books says it's warm. 2. Butter beer soda... it's a soda! 3. Butter beer slushy... it's a slushy! 4. Butter beer pudding... it's a pudding! 5. Butter beer fudge... it's a fudge. 6. Butter beer TBA... I think this one slipped because they didn't have it but said they did. So what do they all taste like? Shockingly universal does a fantastic job on quality that it all tastes the same with some minor differences. So really there is a wide variety to try from where you can get what you want the way you want to eat it and have very similar flavor Good job universal!
google avatar

Jackie N.

Yelp
Butterbeer!!!! This was the first thing I ran to when I entered Hogsmeade. I've been waiting forever to have a taste of this amazing elixir. There are 2 Butterbeer carts located at each entrance to Hogsmeade. The line isn't so bad. Ten minutes maybe? Diabetes beware! This was a sugar overload to regular folks (I'm no regular folk though). I would describe this as a butterscotch/cream soda cupcake in a cup. Shell out for the souvenir cup, why would you go half ass here people!? You get the option of either having it on the rocks or iced up; I chose on the rocks and I downed that baby like no other. I loved the vanilla marshmallow/whipped cream on the top. I had a mustache just like the movie! I highly recommend that you do not skip this at all cost! You will never get another chance like this and it is not a Harry Potter trip until you had Butterbeer.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
BUTTERBEER FTW It was every bit as good as I'd hoped it would be. Sweet, fizzy butterscotch soda that ends on a subtle note. Totally worth $5, especially if you're a Harry Potter fan (or an eighty year old woman, whom I think are the only butterscotch fans still alive). Side note: Pumpkin Juice is revolting and should be avoided at all costs.

Jamie A.

Yelp
I was stupid excited to go to HP World. I was even more excited for Butterbeer. I had been told to try the frozen and the regular. Well, let me tell you - I did try both. And both are amazing. But the frozen? Oh my God. It's heaven in a cup. It's a party in my mouth - no, it's a vacation in my mouth. It may be the greatest drink that has ever touched my lips. I wanted to stick a giant straw into the butterbeer cart all capri-sun style and just go to town. It was phenomenal. Seriously - if I lived anywhere near Orlando, I would waste so much money and time going to Islands of Adventure JUST for butterbeer alone. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and get there quickly!
google avatar

Enjoli M.

Yelp
I heard butter beer was delicious and it definitely is! I added my stout I ordered to the butter beer and it was really great! You can also get a souvenir cup also!
google avatar

Alice L.

Yelp
Butterbeer is like liquid crack. It's the sugariest snap of fizzy drank you will get in the entire park. Do the right thing and get the FROZEN VERSION. It tastes like a delicious cream soda slushie and is more tolerable than the ultra sweet butterscotch soda version. They both come with this foamy molasses-y drizzle on top that makes it look like beer. It forms magically ginormous bubbles, which lends to the whole effect. It is sold at the butterbeer cart at the entrance to Hogsmeade, at the center of the square, and the Three Broomsticks. The Harry Potter experience really is not complete unless you've tasted tummy-warming butterbeer. Cheers! (P.S. souvenir mug comes with $1 refills on fountain drinks throughout the rest of the park)
google avatar

Adrian E.

Yelp
I had three butterbeers in a few short hours. I would have had four, but I was already on a big enough sugar high. It's sold at both the Three Broomsticks restaurant as well as the Butterbeer Cart. It's available frozen or cold (non-frozen). I went frozen each time although I did get a sip of the cold variety. The best way for me to describe it is to imagine a cream soda that's been mixed with a little butterscotch topped by a butterscotch whipped topping. That topping is probably the best part of the drink. It's a good drink and adds to the overall Harry Potter experience. You can't come to this park and not get a butterbeer.
google avatar

Tracy I.

Yelp
Stay in a long, long, long (long, long, long) line and then enjoy your sweet butter beer when you finally get it! Of course, everything will have a line here so nothing out of the ordinary. I realized after experiencing our first butter beer, that if you freeze some cream soda, put extra sugar in in, and add whipped cream, you can make it at home. If you really want to.
google avatar

Kristine J.

Yelp
I was looking for the Butterbeer shop store at Diagon Alley, here on yelp, but didn't find it. Cuz thats where i got my beer! So I'll settle for this. Cuz the Butterbeer they serve is basically the same! I ordered the regular butterbeer. It's pretty sweet, but it's basically a butterscotch soda with melted butterscotch candy cream frothed unto my soda. Super decadent. I also tried the hot butterbeer. As a friend calls it, it's basically a "liquefied donut." I'll admit, that was way sweeter than the regular butterbeer. But I somehow still loved it. All in the name of Harry Potter, trying these butterbeers seemed authentic as the books/movies!
google avatar

Chanel L.

Yelp
Was recommended by tons of family and friends that I should stop by for a glass of Butterbeer. I'm a sucker and paid for the souvenir cup FROZEN. It's located in Harry Potter Land. You won't miss it! Is it an alcoholic beverage? Noooo, of course not! It's like drinking an overly sweet caramel frappe from Starbucks, with a guiness head foam and texture of a creamy milk shake. Def recommend trying it once and sharing!! I couldn't finish the whole thing to myself.

Yelp
I could NOT believe how good this actually were! We got the frozen ones and the froth was just amazing! It is the perfect beverage for a hot afternoon. So yummy it has to be experienced!! If you go inside the restaurant you can get your season pass discount!

Yelp
Butterbeer tastes like a butterscotch cream soda. "A-OK." Order the frozen Butterbeer. It has a nicer flavor than the original. It is quite sweet and can get old fast. I recommend splitting it with a friend. It took 4 of us to finish one regular Butterbeer. The line is very long. Send some of your less-excited Muggle friends to this line with your cash & order while you frolick through Honeydukes. I really wish they offered these with a shot of rum. That would be delicious.

Yelp
details.. .. BUTTERBEER! prOs.. .. BUTTERBEER!! .. The best part of the butterbeer was definitely the "foam". .. Not gonna lie, this review is very biased because I absolutely love anything Harry Potter related & butterbeer is just about as good as it gets. .. My recommendation is to try the frozen butterbeer over the regular one. It's not as sweet & much more refreshing. .. If you're visiting Hogwarts, why would you not get a butterbeer?! cOns.. .. Sadly to say, there is 1 con. The butterbeer from the cart is more expensive than the butterbeer at the restaurants. I believe it's $6.50 off the carts, but only $4.99 at the restaurants.
