Cute little shop with a great variety of cupcakes. Not a huge selection of mini cupcakes but they sell them in packs of 4 at a discounted price. The dulce de leche cupcake was pretty delicious, while the red velvet cupcake was just okay. Nothing really stood out from it. None of their cupcakes have any fillings. Also, no restrooms and I dont believe I noticed seating either- it's a small shop.

An excellent local gem! The service here is always some of the friendliest I’ve experienced. The cupcakes are delicious, with thick buttercream frosting and moist cake, not made with lots of artificial ingredients. They have a large variety of flavors - some local specialties, like dulce de leche and key lime pie. Many cupcakes are actually available every day and not once or twice a week as the menu shows. The coffee is delicious as well. You can find tres leches from Versailles in a small fridge by the counter some days. After reading about how Misha’s treats their employees, I encourage people to check out this spot since it’s just a couple blocks away. Here’s how you run a business!

This place has got to close. Can't resist a cupcake and since I was next door getting ice cream I went in to give it a try. Honestly the cupcake looked terrible, like even I can make a prettier cupcake. But hell I decided to give it a shot. It was so bad I had to spit it out. Dry, tasteless, just bad. I gave it to my two friends to try and they also said it was the worst cupcake they had ever had. One of my friends asked me, "is this old? It tastes like it's two days old." I'm all for supporting local businesses, but not if they want to charge high prices for terrible products. This place needs to close. When an establishment has the actual product that they sell in their name, like Ruth's Chris STEAK House, you expect the steak to be exceptional. The cupcakes here tasted like water-down, sugar-filled junk food you find in a Winn-Dixie in Opa Locka. On the other hand, the coffee was very unique experience because I can honestly say, I've never had cardboard-flavored coffee before. I wanted to love this place as much as Whip N' Dip and Sun Juice Smoothies but they disappointed me.

Pro: Delicious, I had not been to this shop in years and it's as good as I remember it. My favorite flavor is the guava and cheese, the dulce the leche is a close second, and the chocolate-chocolate one is decadent! Honestly they are probably all delicious! Con: over priced, but that's to be expected. Also when they rang me up, they did not show me an itemized receipt, I found that off.

This is the third birthday cake we've ordered from Buttercream Cupcakes. All three cakes have been excellent. The most recent cake is pictured and its flavor was triple chocolate (my favorite). It was chocolatey heaven, super fresh and absolutely scrumptious. It was ready on time and ordering was a breeze. Buttercream Cupcakes never disappoints and is always a crowd favorite. Been calling them my favorite cupcake shop for years and I don't see that changing.

I haven't had a good cupcake since I moved to miami 7 months ago. Those cupcakes are moist af, the flavors are spot on...that napoleon cupcakes almost made me climax and got me pregnant, it was that good! On the other hand, I didn't need to know these were this good...I will be craving these often and that not good for my waist!

If I could give negative stars I would. I have been a good customer many years, since Jose owned this place. Going rate for a dozen cupcakes is about $39 a dozen. Walked in, first thing I noticed was how small these cupcakes were. Not the minis but the regular size. I'm talking they have decreased size by 1/3. I ordered 2 dozen. Women rings up 2 dozen and says, that's $103 with tax. WHAT??? A hundred dollars for 2 dozen. Crazy. Ok, I pay, thinking these better be good. The cupcakes were STALE!!!!Obviously not baked same day. Frosting hard, cake harder. I will not ever be back. These people have lost their minds. Cupcakes were so small , they didn't fill the box and all fell over . Ugh. So disappointing.

In true fatass fashion while doing our nightly jog we decided to grab some cupcakes and give them a try. They made it home in one piece and we sat down to watch the Season 4 Premier of Yellowstone. They were fresh and tasty and hit the spot. Not an ounce of guilt for screwing up our attempted calorie exercise with these tasty cupcakes. No regrets not evening a crub.

We ordered a last minute birthday cake from here, 2 days prior to picking it up. The service over the phone and in person was warm, and professional. The store is charming, clean, and inviting. Can't say enough how happy we were with our cake was it was fresh, pretty, and so good. So glad I found this bakery on yelp.

Okay, the sweetest staff and treats! Picked up a dozen Birthday chocolate cupcakes for my nieces birthday and it was the hit of her party I'm a super aunt now. Very fairly priced for the quality and taste. 5/5 cupcakes for Buttercream :)

I don't think this place is worth the hype. In my opinion all the cupcakes are the same flavor with a different frosting. Not my favorite cupcake place I think they can do much better.

Best cupcakes in Miami! Buttercream has a wide variety of flavors for every pallet from carrot cake to peanut butter chocolate, they have it all. The cupcakes are a pretty large size and definitely one is good to satisfy your dessert cravings. The actual cake is moist all around and super flavorful. The frosting is so creamy but melts in your mouth. It's an amazing combination! Parking can be a little difficult to find, but luckily there's some meter parking spots in the area if you can't find parking right in front of the store. My personal favorite cupcakes are the red velvet and carrot cake! Both are amazing but make sure to get the cupcakes early because they could run out of flavors! Mocha is one that I was looking forward to purchasing but unfortunately that one had run out. Overall if you're looking for a yummy cupcake place in Miami, don't hesitate and go straight to Buttercream! You will not regret it.

This place never disappoints with their mouth watering cupcakes. I've been here a few times but this time was to get some cupcakes for both my fiancé and to celebrate our birthdays. This was his very first time having any of their cupcakes and he fell in love! He's a huge fan of red velvet and he said this is the best he's ever had. It was just the right amount of everything. The red velvet flavor wasn't too overpowering nor was the icing. I bought the orange flavored cupcake which is one of my favorites. It tastes just like an orange cake but again, not an over powering flavored taste to it. I truly do recommend this place if you love sweets and cups cakes. You won't regret at all!

Cupcakes are mediocre. The decorations are on point. They are super cute. The taste is lacking however. The frosting is a bit too sweet and also lacking in flavor.

I read so many good reviews of Buttercream Cupcakes, in particular, from someone who has had three birthday cakes made by them. I really wanted to give my business to a place like this, rather than to a grocery store. When we picked up our 6-inch birthday cake, we also bought two cupcakes to try. The cupcake was very good, so I expected our birthday cake to be just as good. The frosting of the birthday cake was very good, but the cake portion was heavy, dense, wet, and tasteless. The worst, however, was that everyone at the birthday party who ate more than just a taste or few bites threw up later that night. Everyone is still not feeling well today (we had the the cake on Thursday evening, and today is Saturday). I don't think it was an issue of how we stored it. We picked it up at 11am from the bakery, went straight home (10" drive) and stored it as instructed-in our air-conditioned home-not in the fridge. Then we ate it that evening at 7:00pm. I hope this is just an isolated incident. It was nonetheless so horrible and disappointing. The birthday guest of honor turned 60; it was a big occasion. The other issue which was not as big a deal is that we asked for blue and yellow rosettes, and we got blue and orange instead.

Honestly not sure why this place has such high ratings. First and least important, the parking was limited and difficult. They didn't have all of the flavors they offer but when I looked at the full list I didn't think that there was anything particularly unique anyways. I got the dulce de leche and my mom got the triple chocolate. We also shared a hot caramel latte, that I asked for iced but I guess the man helping us misunderstood. Not a huge deal, but the coffee was just okay. We felt about the same about the cupcakes, just okay. It was a little pricey. The service was fine and the man helping us was wearing a mask.

I sent Buttercream cupcakes an email with very specific things that I wanted for my Coraline themed birthday party and they outdid themselves! They were so patient and kind and the order came out beautifully! The red velvet cupcakes were delicious and the vanilla cake was soft as well. Thank you so much! My favorite cupcakes in Miami!!! My bf surprised me with a box of four different types. And I loved every single one. Pistachio, strawberry, vanilla with chocolate icing, and vanilla with vanilla icing. Each one were absolutely perfect. Light and fluffy and not too sweet that you can devour the whole cupcake. Every time I pass through coral gables I stop by here!

For those who believe that "bigger is better", Buttercream Cupcakes was created. This is a cupcake shop that will knock you out via diabetic coma in seconds. Proceed with caution! Buttercream was my favorite cupcake shop. I still come every other Sunday for the orange cupcake, which is only available on that day. Before, whenever I was in the area, I would stop by and get some cupcakes to go. But here's why I stopped coming often... To begin with, the cupcakes have lost some of their magic, flavor wise. Aside from this, the cupcakes, being regular size, have an amount of frosting that is extremely generous but almost repulsive. I personally never eat all the frosting, but I eat all the cupcake. Here's my quandary: Not eating something fully, or enjoying something fully, always makes my brain spin. You may think I am overreacting, but I was born this way (quoting GaGa). So here is where you stand. An enormous amount of sugar eaten in about a minute. For me, it's just too much, yet for some it will be perfect. And so, we move on from what used to be cool, to what has lost its identity. They are still great cupcakes, I am just downsizing.

Yummoo and v cute but also kinda expensive--3$ each for a cupcake makes getting 1/2 or 1 dozen kinda pricey. They give samples tho!!!! Also can't combine free cupcake w Yelp check in with any other offer! But otherwise still delicious cupcakes that taste fresh--- buttercream is soft and not hardened/ dried out at all! Went at 2pm and still lotsa flavors to choose from!

I ordered cupcakes here from Postmates. I had to call the store because I forgot to order cupcakes so the honor happily assisted and adding extra cupcakes to my order. The cupcakes were delicious and moist but I think The buttercream could taste a little bit better. The prices are competitive because nowadays cupcake prices are around the same price range. If the butter cream tasted better I would've given the last star. Overall the cupcake was great and it's not one of those small cupcakes that you get in those boutique cupcake stores.

Holy moly! Devoured these cupcakes in less then an hour! (Ate 6 by myself.. they were that good) I always hesitate getting the Guava cupcake because some tend to make it either toooo sweet or not tasting at all like guava... I'm SOOOO happy I decided to get it, I was so happy eating it. I'm not much of a frosting girl but the frosting on the guava.. DELISH! Same goes for the cinnamon roll and red velvet! This place is named Buttercream for a reason.....the buttercream frosting on the cupcakes is AMAZING! I found this place on yelp and had been wanting to check it out for awhile. I parked right in front for free. There are a few chairs inside to sit and eat your treat. Make sure to check-in on yelp for a FREE cupcake. Each cupcake is $3. They are regular sized. I had the triple chocolate: chocolate cake with small chocolate chips on the bottom, chocolate buttercream frosting, and chocolate sprinkles. It was very chocolaty and fresh and moist. The vanilla was also amazing. The vanilla bean cake is topped with buttercream frosting. The cake was rich with vanilla flavor and very moist and fresh. The cupcake was topped with a pink flower decorative. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Delicious cupcakes! I came here based on a recommendation of a friend who claimed their cupcakes are better than Mishas (not sure I agree). I am not a huge cupcake fan but I was craving chocolate and I work nearby, so I figured why not. It's a small, cute little shop in the Gables. I was immediately greeted with a smile. They don't have a large selection, but everything smelled and looked good. I was hoping for a flavor with banana in it but none of their flavors have banana. Ah well. So I chose an Oreo cupcake (chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream with chopped Oreas folded in) and a birthday cupcake (vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream with sprinkles). I enjoyed the Oreo more than the vanilla. The buttercream here is fantastic! In fact, I wish they would've put more on the cupcakes. When I think of cupcakes, I like tons of frosting, especially when it is as good as theirs. But I understand that's a personal preference since many people don't like too much frosting. The cupcake itself could've been a bit more moist imo, but it wasn't dry. The cost wasn't bad either. $3 per cupcake, but I will say they are kind of small. All in all, would I return to Buttercream? Probably not. But only bc like I said I'm not a big cupcake fan. and frankly, I've had better (Good Golly in Orlando has my heart). Still a solid place, though.

I found this place thru search here on Yelp. We needed a last minute order of cupcakes for my jobs 30th anniversary celebration. No doubt about it that I made the best decision on placing an order. Cupcakes were delicious the staff loved them. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. 1st time trying it out and will definitely not be the last either. I can't even mentioned what flavor tastes best, they all taste delicious. Don't hesitate and give them a try you would not be disappointed.

My son gifted me cupcakes. I have never experienced Uber eat. I received my cupcakes in a cute pink box. Upon opening to look inside I found my cupcakes in shambles. I personally took them to the shop we're the staff was surprised to see the mess inside the box due to the handling of the delivery guy. If the shop took an extra step by adding cupcake holder it would had been a perfect experience. By the way cupcakes were delicious.

Buttercream was such a pleasant experience. I tried their Guava cupcake and it was delicious! The cake was dense and flavorful, and their buttercream tied it all together. Very cute location and would definitely come again.

Best place ever. I can't believe the negative review of Angelita. I'm confident the reviewer didn't share the whole story. I've never experienced anything but excellent food and excellent service! If you're in Miami, you have to stop by. You won't regret it. Forget to say - try the Triple Chocolate and Vanilla Oreo. They are so delicious!!

Buttercream makes really yummy cupcakes for sure. They always have seasonal flavors plus their rotating variety. The place is small but really cute, lots of pink! The service is excellent, always someone friendly and attentive. The cakes are moist with a nice crumb and not overly sweet, and as their name suggests their buttercream is really on point.I think they make one the best buttercream in town. It is nicely whipped not super sugary and true to the flavor. They also have great coffee and tea. The spot is just perfect for a little treat. They have outside seating and the area is really nice, right next to the whip an dip.

Terrible first experience and service! They messed up my entire order and blamed it on me. The owners child was there screaming in the middle of the shop in front of clients. Barely anyone could eat the cupcakes at my party because they were extremely dry. The presentation of the cupcakes weren't appealing whatsoever. Such a disappointment. Sweetness bake shop, Mishas, and LA Sweets are much better options. Trust me.

These are by far the best cupcakes I have ever eaten, and I've searched at a lot of places. Every time I am back in Miami, I make it a point to come here, and every time someone visits me from Miami, I insist they bring Buttercream cupcakes with them. Both the cupcakes and the frosting are extremely dense and sweet. The cupcakes are presented nicely, but shaping cutesy looking frosting is not their thing, so don't expect that. The richness of the cupcakes is what Buttercream has going for it. If you don't like rich, sweet desserts, this is not the place for you, though they do carry coffee, which they don't sweeten very much. I've had the iced latte, and if you want this to be very sweet, you'll have to add sugar yourself. My favorite flavors are vanilla oreo, red velvet, and latte. They carry different flavors each day, with some of the staples available every day. If you're set on a certain flavor, check the website to see which day it is offered, and go early, because some flavors do sell out. I also follow them on facebook, and every once in a while they post an offer for a free item that day, so if you live/work in the area, you may want to follow them so you can get notifications of that sort.

I come here often and wanted to give my sons bday party a special touch with these cupcakes for His xmass party ! I also use these cupcakes to reward my customers for their bdays ! Had a little price mix up but owner messages me and clarified issue! Mini cupcakes go for $1.50 a piece well worth it! Can't wait to see my sons teachers reaction when she tries the deliciousness.

I picked up an order of 2 dozen cupcakes today. They appear that they were baked touching and most tops are cooked together and need to be pulled apart leaving a rough edge. Not a huge deal, but also not expected at over $70 for cupcakes. The frosting tastes like pure food coloring. Not good at all. The cake it's self is moist and tasty, but loses all appeal when eaten with the frosting. Super disappointed to pay premium prices for special occasion cupcakes that are not enjoyable.

OMG THIS PLACE HAS MY FAVORITE CUPCAKE EVER! THE GUAVA AND CHEESE CUPCAKE IS PERFECT! I don't know why they don't sell it every day. They also have a great chocolate cake with chocolate chips in it. Try the guava and cheese if it's available! If you like the Cuban pastry, you'll like the cupcake. They also have good ice. 4 stars because the guava and cheese isn't available every day and because I'm not a big fan of the vanilla cake.

You can't beat yummy cupcakes that come in cute solid pink boxes, it's enough to make any girl (or guy) any age feel special. I've tried their triple chocolate, oreo, and strawberry vanilla; my favorite is the triple chocolate--it's super moist and not as sweet as the other two (probably because the bitterness from the chocolate balances out the sweetness). They are the perfect (standard) size to satisfy a sweet craving. You can taste the quality of the product. To top off all the sweet buttercream goodness, they also serve coffee, and what better combination than cupcakes and coffee? The store is small and unpretentious; there are a few parking spots right outside which is pretty convenient but I'm sure can get crowded.

Where to begin. Buttercream cupcakes are absolutely delicious. But more than that, the customer service and friendly attitude is unmatchable. Great prices and great coffee. I recommend Buttercream cupcakes to anyone that has a sweet tooth!!

First impressions - this is a small shop which is nicely decorated with primarily pink inside and out. Unlike LA Sweets and Misha's, Buttercreams showcase is filled with regular sized cupcakes although they still offer mini ones! These cupcakes are moist and the frosting is phenomenal ( IMO the frosting really makes there cupcakes ). My favorite is the Oreo cupcake! My favorite part of going to Buttercream was being able to speak with the owner as I believe she was mixing a new batch of frosting! She was really nice and offered to make me a hot chocolate which of courseeee I had to accept! Great cupcakes, good customer service and the owner actually being in the shop making these cupcakes = a fan and returning customer! Thanks Buttercream and do not lose your originality.
