Best Restaurants in Sedona, Arizona | Eater Vegas

"Butterfly Burger offers a cool, dark, loungey atmosphere that stands out in Sedona. But like Lisa Dahl’s other restaurants, it’s the food that makes it unforgettable. Go for the signature Butterfly Burger with Manchego cheese, peppered bacon, guacamole, and chipotle aioli, or try something new like the Mowee Wowee — a teriyaki sauce-slathered mahi-mahi filet with wasabi ginger sauce and grilled pineapple. No matter what you choose, pair it with the cheese-smothered street tots." - Jamie Phillis

Stopped by on Sat afternoon for late lunch, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the paradise salad and Waco kid burger with butter beans as side. The salad was the right balance of arugula and quinoa with the mango salsa giving it the perfect sweetness and kick. Could've been a bit more generous with the portion considering the price, barely enough for one much less share by 2ppl. The Waco burger was definitely one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. Perfect medium cooked juicy meat with the caramelized onion and bourbon flavors melted perfectly with the gouda cheese. We could easily Hava had a burger each instead of sharing 😋. The butter beans side was certainly unique and tasty, almost creamy in its texture and blended well with the dressing. However, as great as the food was, the service was pretty terrible. We were mostly neglected from the start even though rstu wasn't busy at 2:40pm. Took 10 min to get orders taken, then server didn't even bother giving us utensils or napkins after she dropped our food on table. Never even checked on us once until after we finished our meal and she bought us our bill. We ended up going inside and grabbing napkin and utensils from open table.

Had dinner here Oct 20, 25. Beautiful restaurant and decor. The food did not disappoint. Tasty, clean, great flavor. They gave beans or instead of french fries -bean were ok but I would have preferred the choice to have ff instead. Service mostly missing. Overall, great food!

Google
Most delicious hamburger ever!! It is unfair to all the other burger shops out there! Meat was perfectly juicy and seasoned! This is a classy, sit down hamburger restaurant and the food is so good! You will never want another shops burger again. Also, the lavender shake was divine! Really good shakes and sides! The yucca fries sound interesting and they are, and just a wonderful surprise! Secret recipe though, ha ha. Our server was also so great to us!

Google
One of the best burgers I've had, period. Juicy flavorfull but at the same time well done. Waiters were very friendly and professional. My only setback was that inside the restaurant is very dark, maybe too dark for my taste to bring my family. We ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful fall Sedona weather.

Google
First time here, the food is amazing although the truffle tater tots were extremely salty. The service ruined the experience. We literally ate the appetizer with our fingers/shared the serving spoon because we never received silverware. Another lady dropped off our food and we had asked for silverware, she never brought it. After like ten minutes my friend went inside and asked for silverware. By the time he checked on us again we were done. Took another 15 minutes to get the box and the check and by that time the flies took over the food. As a server myself, I always tip 25% or more even for mediocre service but I tipped 18%.

We spent the weekend in Sedona and had a wonderful time at the Butterfly Burger restaurant. It was our first time there, and we were delighted with the delicious food. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the air conditioning wasn’t working, so we ended up eating outside. Thankfully, the temperature was still pleasant at around 8 pm. We tried their Yucca fries, potato salad, and the Gringo Burger, along with a few drinks. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for a nice dinner, with a beautiful view of the mountains if eating outside. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Google
It seemed chaotic from the moment we entered. The hostess seated us, and then it was a while before we were brought waters, (and they never refilled waters even after we requested refills) we finally got to order after about 20 minutes. We never got silverware and when I went to find the server he was washing glasses at the bar. He was clearly trying to do several jobs at once. The burgers were mediocre, and the sweet potato fries tasted like they had been in a warmer for hours. The cheese on the street tots was cold. If we are going to pay $90 for a couple of burgers, they need to make sure management has a better plan to serve customers. The one server trying to keep everything running won’t cut it. Discombobulated and I hope they make changes, quickly!!

Google
Very disappointing for an alleged celebrity chef. There’s a VERY long line as early as 5:30 pm, but walk into the restaurant and half the tables are empty. Granted it’s the holiday weekend, but the lack of staff is outrageous. Half of our meal came out some 15 minutes before the rest. So half of our party was done eating before the other half even got their food. Two Oui Oui burgers were ordered: one came with the dipping sauce, the later, second one did not. But we couldn’t flag anyone down to bring us the sauce- so forget it. The other two burgers supposedly had an artisan bun. Fooled me- wonder bread shaped like a bun. For one of the burgers, the bottom half of the bun was soaked through and through with the burger’s juices. The burger itself was tasty- but absolutely nothing to write home about. And considering we were so very hungry, I didn’t realize til the end that the meal was over-salted, maybe not as bad as Denny’s but still very disappointing. The kale side is ok- a bit tangy. The staff was working so super hard- I feel bad for them, but even if they had doubled up the staff it would not be enough. The guy who was bussing tables was also handing out menus and silverware- kind of gross that he wasn’t able to change out of his bussing gloves. Finally, the 3% fee for business operations is a very bad joke. Business operations are sub-par and do not deserve any amount, much less an amount added to the subtotal. I would skip this place. The torta de Fuego next door is a solid option for good Mexican fare.

Yelp
Welp I'm in Looovee! Butterfly burger is absolutely wonderful! I knew I'd like this place when this lil handlebar mustachioed cutie seated us! I consider myself a hamburger connoisseur... the meat was a mixture of perfection cooked by someone who knew what they were doing! I got the Samuri Supremo with delicious grilled Pinapple slice. For the idea-Cilantro coleslaw was good, a guy a table over let me try his potato salad and I loved that too BUT that winner was the huge balsamic marinated butter beans (which my friend got)!!! They sounded boring but I made a huge mistake not ordering them. To finish it off I had a banana milkshake that was divine! Our server was a sweetie!

Yelp
What a freaking joke! Had a party of 6 and knew there was only one table to accommodate so called repeatedly for over an hour... no answer. Turns out that the phone had the volume turned down. When we arrived 6 top was filled as expected, but pretty light crowd so thought we could be accommodated. But, no. According to staff Lisa had a policy that we couldn't move a two top table two feet over to the 4 top. When I asked why I was told chef (aka Lisa) likes it that way and they would get in trouble if they moved. Come on Lisa, sometimes accommodating the customer is ok. We're taking a burger joint here, not fine dining.

Yelp
Stopped by Butterfly Burger in Sedona and was really impressed. The cozy ambiance made it a great place to relax, and the waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I ordered the Funghi Sublime with a side of Yukon Gold Potato Salad, and everything came out quickly - about a 10-minute turnaround which was great. The burger itself was excellent: the bun was fluffy, the cheese melted perfectly, and the mushrooms brought a rich umami flavor that really made the burger stand out. The patty could have been a bit more seasoned, but it was hearty and satisfying nonetheless and I was feeling full after just half of my burger. The Yukon Gold Potato Salad was a great side as well, with freshly chopped dill that gave it a bright, herby flavor. The Butter Fries were crispy and lightly salted, my favorite style of fries. Between the cozy vibe, friendly service, quick turnaround time, and solid food, this is an easy place to recommend. Would definitely come back next time we're in the area!

Yelp
Good low key casual place for dinner. The person who owns this also owns Pisa Lisa and Mariposa so there's crossover on menu items. Mariposa has a dress code but amazing view and tucked away a little to get probably really great views at night. This place was good to get some similar foods but with a more casual atmosphere but still nice for a date night. The only issue I had here was, they didn't pass the water test. No one came to refill our water. Even when I asked for more water from the person who brought our food, we never got a refill. They were past their big dinner rush as most tables were finishing up and leaving soon after we sat down.

Yelp
The burgers are amazing. Beautiful restaurant and the food is high quality and fresh. I will say service was terrible so buckle up to be there for a while! Either way, I'd still recommend !

Yelp
I'm very late in this review, but I wanted to make sure to get my input on here about our trip to Butterfly Burger in June, 2025. This is another of Lisa Dahl's restaurants, and there are a couple of things that make it clear this is related to Mariposa. First, just like at Mariposa, the staff is well-trained and excellent. Second, their cheesecake is outrageous (outrageously good!). They did not have prickly pear cheesecake like at Mariposa, but the rotating flavor they had was raspberry. And while not quite as tasty as the Mariposa version, it was clearly the same recipe and it was amazing. The rest of the menu: burgers were very good. Yucca fries were great. The regular fries were also really good. My son had a good milkshake. One other thing of note, it's a small thing and almost embarrassing to say, but their house made ketchup was excellent!

Yelp
Came in to town and was looking for something gluten free to eat for dinner. I saw that this place has GF buns so decided to give it a try. It's a pretty cute place and wasn't very busy when I was there, just a couple of tables were taken. The staff were friendly. I ordered a burger with a GF bun. Unfortunately they didn't have many sides I could eat since most of their sides are fried in a non dedicated fryer. They did have potato salad so I opted for that. The GF bun was pretty tasty. The burger itself didn't have too much flavor and was really greasy, to the point the bun was soaked. For desert I ordered Crème Brûlée. It was decent. It seemed like they over did it with caramelizing the top because it tasked a bit burnt. Overall it was an average experience. The staff were the best part of the experience.

Yelp
Butterfly burger was a really good choice for dinner. They have options for vegetarian and vegan customers. We had the portobello mushroom burger, the hipster, and the truffle tater tots. We also ordered the skinny margarita. Everything was delicious and we were very impressed. The margarita was really strong and we didn't finish it which was a good thing. The service was good, and the restaurant and ambience were nice and modern. I highly recommend visiting when you are in the area.

Yelp
I felt terrible for our server because it was apparent he was doing the job of 5 people. I think they were short staffed. He was the hostess, the server, washing glasses at the bar, and trying his best to stay on top of it all. The food was mediocre. The meat of our burger had great taste, but the bun was cold, the sweet potato fries tasted like they had been in a warmer for hours, and the cheese on the street tots was cold. If it hadn't been for our server busting his ass it would have been a huge disappointment for $90 for a couple burgers, but bless his heart he worked hard. I think his name was Joel but couldn't hear well. Someone needs to acknowledge his work ethic.
google avatar

Yelp
The TaterTots with Queso were a delicious appetizer and I was optimistic that the rest our meals would be equally as good. One member of our party ordered Oui Oui patty melt, one the mushroom burger, and I ordered the burger with pesto, tomato and cheese. None of us felt that our sandwiches had much flavor. They were cooked medium well rather than medium. The potato salad was good, the sweet potato fries were delicious, the butter beans were a no bueno. If I'm putting out $112 for three hamburger meals, an appetizer and beverages I expect it to be delicious. Our server was neither bad or good.

Yelp
Easily one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. I was staying across the street at the Hilton and was told that the burgers here are not to miss. Please do yourself a favor and come here! We brought our dogs and were seated outside, which had a pleasant ambiance and comfortable shaded area to dine outside without experiencing the heat. Funghi sublime: 5/5. If you love truffle then you will love this burger! Cooked perfectly and so much umami, I will be dreaming of this. The Waco Kid: 5/5. When we asked the waiter what she recommends, were told to get this. It did not disappoint. An explosion of flavors and cooked to perfection. The subtle sweetness was so delectable. I loved it. Fries: 5/5. A bit pricey, but they were cooked so perfectly. The ketchup here is so unique too, not your regular Heinz ketchup! I would order this again. I already can't wait to come back to Sedona and eat here again in the future. I will be recommending this spot to everyone I know who visits!

Yelp
Butterfly Burger was our last stop before heading home from our day trip to Sedona. It was the perfect ending! I ordered the Waco Kid burger with a side of potato salad. I am typically not a big potato salad fan, but this was incredible. The burger was the best burger that I have had in years, bar none. My friend really enjoyed her meal and mocktail as well. The ambiance was also very cozy and very elevated for a burger place. It really amplified the entire experience and made everything that much better!
google avatar

Yelp
Honest to god, this is restaurant has THE BEST POTATO SALAD I've ever had. The chef, Lisa Dahl, has her cookbook "A Romance with Food" and IDK if her potato salad recipe is in this book but I need to know. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C-Gal3iyvdd/

Yelp
Unfortunately we experienced HORRIBLE service. We waited over 20 minutes for our server to greet us. Then after we ordered it took another 15 minutes to get our waters. The food came out faster than our drinks. I asked the kitchen manager if he could help us. He looked around and just waved at the bartender that we needed help. Absolutely useless. Burgers were delicious on the other hand. We did not see a manager around nor were we offered anything to make up for this break in customer service. We were all very disappointed.

Cami D.

Yelp
We were really excited to come back to Butterfly Burger because we have great memories here, but unfortunately this visit was a big letdown. Service was extremely disorganized from start to finish. Our appetizers were supposed to come out before our entrées, but everything arrived at the same time. The food runner told us silverware would be brought "in just a second," then disappeared entirely. We had to flag down our server, who oddly cleaned a nearby table first before finally bringing us silverware. Getting our check took forever and we weren't the only ones struggling. Multiple tables around us were clearly frustrated. The table next to us waited about 20 minutes just for their drinks and when they received the wrong order, the server didn't apologize or offer to comp anything, which felt surprising given the mistake. We even watched people across the restaurant having to flag the server down just to pay. Overall, it felt like the staff was overwhelmed and the floor wasn't being managed well. We really wanted this to be a positive return, but the service issues made the whole experience disappointing.

Yelp
Sophisticated yet casual vibes here at Butterfly burger, great for a date night or group outing. I had the Waco burger which was delicious, I only wish I shared it with someone since it was so filling. I could have tried other things. Yuca fries were better than the tater tots. And surprisingly, the star of the show was the crème brûlée. Staff was helpful and I will definitely be back (even if it's just for dessert!)
google avatar

Aaron S.

Yelp
Wow this might be the best burger I've had and I am a burger guy. I got the Gringo Burger. Cooked perfectly. White cheddar, pickles, tomatoes, burger sauce, and crispy onion straws. (See pic). So savory but not over the top. Thicker burger patty cooked exactly to the temperature I ordered. Bun was fantastic. Toasted brioche bun that was soft but held up. But the crunch from those onion straws put it over the top. Will be back a lot. Only downside, drinks are a little pricey.

Kristina M.

Yelp
Food was delicious, server and staff were helpful and entertaining and the restaurant itself was a perfect place to get together with friends on a Friday night. Highly recommend for your Sedona stay
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
Party of 6. The would not sit us together even though there was a 2 person table and 4 person table 3 feet apart, and it would not have blocked anything. Restaurant was about 1/3 full at the time. Not very welcoming.
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
Just finished hiking the devils bridge with a group of 5 so we were starving . Came to this burger place with a 45min wait time. Our savior the host was able to make a 4 seat table into a 5 and cut our wait time in half. Unfortunately it took a while for our server to get us situated with just our drinks so that was disappointing. But the foooood made up for everything. The affogato I blinked and it was gone, the burger was fantastic but the Mac n cheese stole the show it was delicious!!
google avatar

Natasha A.

Yelp
Very good burgers and shakes. Enjoyed the Lemoncello alcoholic milkshake, the Italian Stallion burger (caprese), and the Yucca fries. Was not too keen on the Butterfly Burger. Beautiful inside and nice service.

Tanya M.

Yelp
Great attentiveness from staff. Excellent food quality. Went there based on positive reviews for both gluten free and vegan options and it did not disappoint. Swanky vibes and delicious meals for all in party including various diets ranging from omnivores to food allergies to vegan. We arrived within an hour of closing but not rushed and the kitchen even created an off-menu dessert upon request. Will definitely recommend to my foodie friends and family.

Yelp
Business today I'm on a tour from the central coast to Vegas, Sedona, the Grand Canyon and places between. The clients ditched me for dinner so I went out to refuel and Yelp found this place for me. Ahh...where can I park this 32' party bus, well I managed that and walked in to the Butterfly. This is cool, reminded me of Eureka but with a darker more mellow atmosphere. I found my favorite seat at the bar (on the short end with no other chairs or people). BAM!... half a pound of ground angus beef, cheese and bacon with a side of cole slaw. The burger was up pretty fast, there was a few small sliced dill pickles, a thick slice of tomato and a leaf of lettuce finished the plate. I love it when the serve the burger with a hearty steak knife "Hey we have good steaks too" I cut the burger in half, the bun was strong, fresh and thankfully there no sesame seeds on the bun, my petpeve. It was a good burger cooked to order, perfect. thank you. The coleslaw was just that nothing fancy here just a chopped cabbage and dressing, I didn't see any carrot in the mix. And before I knew it I was done. It was just enough without the "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" feeling. I finished my soda water paid and left a good tip for the bartender and thats about it really. Back to work! foodguy- martin

Yelp
A chance find turns into the best burger I've ever eaten. .5 pound Angus cooked perfectly, juicy and tasty, side of slaw that was incredible, shared and order of fries.. Service was outstanding, well done Nomar!. Location, friendly, put this spot on your list when in Oak Creek Sedona

Yelp
The food was freakin amazing! Burgers "Waco" love it! What was better was Ashlee are bartender, thank you for the love and good conversation! Fossil Creek my next stop! Rich Infante, Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Yelp
Ordered online and was looking forward to my meal. It said that it would be ready at 7:10pm I arrived on time eager to try my so called award winning burger which each cost $20 or more. I checked in and asked for my order, they said that they were running a little late, so I said that was fine I'd wait in my car. 10 minutes passed then 15, at 20 minutes I gave up and went back in I asked what happened to my order. They couldn't find it!!!! Another 10 minutes went by when they finally found the order. But the reality of the situation was it was sitting there for the last 30 minutes getting cold and congealed fat soaking into the bun! It was disgusting! On one burger we added extra cheese so what did we get a plane burger with absolutely nothing on it no lettuce, no tomato and no cheese. They changed me $22 dollars for a plain congealed fat burger. I tried to call them when I got home to discover my very naked, naked burger but even though I was the first in the queue, the phone was never answered even though I waited for another 15 minutes. So NO I would not recommend this place. I spent $135 for 4 burgers and some fries. Which I couldn't even eat. Talk about a waste of money and time!!!!!!!!!!!

Cudi T.

Yelp
The Hipster was very tasty. Loved the house made patty (lentil/walnut) got it with the vegan option aioli which really complimented all the flavors and textures of this beast! Bowl of paradise highlight was the mango pico de gallo smothered over the confetti quinoa, avocado chunks and roasted pepitas. The sweet and sour dressing along with the drizzle of balsamic gave a nice tangy zest to balance out the bed of arugula. Got a side of tater tots with the vegan wasabi ginger dip to drown those tiny spuds in. The charred ketchup was tasty too. Great bourbon and Whiskey choices. Full bar and a great bartender named Dustin.

Yelp
I really don't know what to say here. There was just nothing, I mean nothing enjoyable about this. From the 10min wait at the hostess stand whilst standing on a postage stamp size area directly in front of the door. To the 45min wait. I get it. It was Friday. Holiday week. They were busy. But not overly. The plan is simple. Seat em. Get drinks. Drop off apps. Them food. Get paid. Not a lot of in between needed. For whatever reason. This didn't happen. Now. I don't know all of the specifics of the business. Who called off. Who was new to their shift etc. What I do know is the waits were overly excessive. An hour to get a table. 10 mins to get drinks after - not great ones. Still no waters. Food all entered at once. Still waiting on the water. The food gets delivered - "be right back with your sauces". You guessed it. No sauces. Again, I don't know why. I knew during the hour wait that could have been managed better that we should have left. We didn't. I knew it wouldn't get better. It didn't. There was just nothing that I can say I enjoyed here. Not even the food. Sorry.

Yelp
My Husband and I are staying at a hotel near the Butterfly Burger and have a friend who suggested trying it. So we ordered for pick up and I personally was not thrilled my husband however was happy with his burger. I originally wanted to try the fungi burger but they do not do substitutes and when I asked if they had regular gouda cheese they said no only truffle. So I ordered the nothing burger and the name is perfect for what you get. The price on the other hand was way more than that the burger was worth. I was super disappointed and regretted trying this restaurant. There was a slice of lettuce that was worthless on a burger and a piece of tomato. I did not get onions but I did order pickles on the side. The burger itself was good size but dry. I paid an upgraded charge for fries on the side which I think was ridiculous but I'm glad I did because the fries were half way decent. My husband ordered the Waco burger and he loved it. He said the flavoring was fantastic and you couldn't even tell there were onions on the burger. The other disappointment was they charge a business charge on top of the bill. Had I had a break down of the bill I would not have tipped 20% Overall food was not great, prices were too high and they add additional charges. I do NOT recommend this place and if you do try it I would suggest trying one of their champion burgers.

Yelp
The atmosphere was very cool and classy. Our server, Nomar, was incredible, charming, and attentive with our table. We started with drinks which were the Desert Haze (tequila based cocktail), BB's Old Fashion, and a Hazy IPA. The drinks were unique and delicious and nicely prepared. For food, we had tater tots with a truffle digonaise and fries with chipotle aioli. The fried foods were perfectly cooked without being too greasy. The sauces were very deliciously paired with the sides. For main courses, we got 3 different burgers: The Butterfly Burger, The Gringo Burger, and The Fungi Burger. They were all cooked to medium and tasted amazing. Very fresh and well prepared, we had an excellent experience.

Yelp
The burger here was delicious!! I sat at the bar. Wonderful service. The vibe here is amazing! Our bartender was incredible- Dustin.

Yelp
Legit the best burgers I've ever had. The meat was perfectly cooked, the buns were toasted and buttered and the mahi appetizer was amazing.
google avatar

Anissa B.

Yelp
OMG we loved this so much! The ambiance was great, but the service was amazing!!! Nomar was our server and he as outstanding!! The burger was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Soooo good! Cooked to a perfect medium. And do yourself a favor and get the homemade pickles!! The drinks were good too. 10/10.

Yelp
High class burger place with great tasting food. The interior is quite dark, up-scale looking while the outdoor seating is bright and sunny. Burgers are large portioned and delicious, and I also love their salads. Service was excellent.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Another stop on our Summer of Lisa Dahl tour. We have been here before and love the design and ambiance of the place. We chose to each have the Magical Elixir soup, which is an elevated French Onion style. My wife dislike French Onion soup, but she loves this version. We shared The Nothing Burger (wife's choice). Was cooked perfectly. The fries were hot and tasty. Best dish for me is the 3 seed cole slaw made with cilantro. This is my favorite cole slaw of all time. Always fresh and crispy. Definitely recommend Butterfly Burger-they also have good vegetarian or non red meat options.
google avatar

Mark F.

Yelp
Excellent service. High quality ingredients. Yummy salad. Great fries. Promised med burger(that is recommend by them). Delivered hammered hockey puck. Drove from valley for the burger. No quality control by chef. Stick a temp probe. Easy. Will come back and order it med rare.

Yelp
Love this place. Great spot to bring people for Amazing burgers and food in general. Love the bar and an amazing whiskey collection.

Yelp
Delicious burger place in beautiful Sedona! They had a great bloody mary, too. Zero complaints! Xoxo, Is this thing on?

Andres J.

Yelp
We were a party of four and had an amazing time! From start to finish, everything about our visit was flawless. First off--the burgers? Absolutely fantastic. Each one was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly creative. You can tell they put real thought and care into every combination. The fries were golden, crispy, and addictive, and don't even get me started on the dessert--easily one of the best sweet endings to a meal we've had in a while. But what really took the experience to the next level was the service. Our server was out of this world--friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed and taken care of. It's rare to come across that kind of energy and professionalism. And the ambiance? Modern, stylish, and cozy, with just the right vibe to make the whole meal feel special but relaxed. We all left full, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. If you're in Sedona, Butterfly Burger is an absolute must.

Yelp
Thankfully they lowered the music otherwise we would not have stayed. Nice to hear the person you are having lunch with. Funghi burger was delicious, Cole slaw okay... not sure what spice I thought little of. Portobello burger was a good vegetarian choice with kale salad for my friend. Good service, thanks!
google avatar

Tim K.

Yelp
This has got to be the darkest place I have ever had lunch in. The place is painted black from ceiling to floor. If I walked in there with a white shirt and pants I would feel like a fluorescent light. Other than that, the atmosphere and food were great. My group, four of us, had a wide variety of dishes, a giant chile dog, two different burgers, a guac toast, mac and cheese, fries, potato salad, wax beans. All the entrees were huge, presented nicely and tasted great. Our server has fun and knowledgeable about the food. Prices were fair, with a tip we spent a bit over $125 for a very nice lunch.

Yelp
The best burger I've had in a while (the gringo). Also had 2 drinks that were refreshing. The service was a touch slow, but we are eating lunch at 2:30 pm.

Yelp
Every single person working here was fantastic. Came with 9 people unannounced and we were swiftly accommodated. The food was outstanding. I wish I remembered the servers name but he is a pro at what he does. Very informative, funny and attentive. Ambiance is great and I'd highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Butterfly Burger nails the vibe and the food, but the real star of the menu is the mac & cheese. Creamy, rich, and unexpectedly unforgettable. Burgers are great, but that mac? Next level.

Yelp
Great burger and tots. Located in a strip mall type location with good parking. Very upscale for a burger place. $20 for most burgers and worth ever penny. Ambiance very nice. Great service sitting at the bar. A can't miss in Sedona.

Yelp
We came in on a Saturday around 5- although we were seated right away we waited 15-20 minutes for anyone to come over and give us waters :( We had the gringo burger w/ potato salad and the samurai supreme Burger w/butter beans and then asked for a side of the truffle parm tater tots to share. We had waters and waited another 10 minutes for lemons- Our truffle parm tater tots were so overdone they were inedible and came out 15 minutes before our meals (we had asked for it to come With our meals) Our burgers came out and although they looked nice- they were not.. they were overcooked and chewy. The gringo burger was tasteless and on the samurai supremo - the charred pineapple was good. The star of the show was the potato salad and the butter beans (butter beans were delicious and I highly recommend!) We finished our glasses of water trying to choke down a couple overcooked tots and didn't get more until 5-10 minutes before our after we received our burgers. Overall disappointed!!

Yelp
First time in Sedona and came here for lunch. Me and the two in my party all ordered the wagyu burgers and it was amazing! I ordered gluten free bread and it still tasted great! The star of the show had to be our server Nomar with his lovely jokes and witty comments, we had such a great laugh!! I might have to come back from California my next birthday for the serv- food! :)

Yelp
I highly recommend butterfly burger for the food definitely and for the bar experience for sure. Laura was at the bar both nights that we went and she knows her stuff. You are in good hands with her. Had a burger and the mac & cheese, and their sliced pickles. I couldn't finish it all at the time but the doggy bag sure didn't last long after I left. For a good time and good company and good food, this is the place to go.
