I absolutely Love this Cafe! They have the Best egg/ham/pesto breakfast sandwich & it’s served all day ! GOBALL loves the free water ! Thank you 🙏🏻

Decided to try this place after I saw good reviews on it. It’s definitely worth the trip! It’s such a cute little building and they do have outside tables to sit at. The service was great-very friendly and accommodating. I got the ham and cheese and it was delicious. The onions were cooked perfectly, the herb aioli added the perfect taste, and the bread was nice and toasted. There’s no immediate parking besides the street, but there is a parking lot in the back with 2 hour parking.

The epitome of a cute college town coffee place. We enjoyed the way they took their time to discuss ingredients so everything tasted great. A friendly suggestion would be to add a changing table to the restroom, since it’s a large space :)

First of all they're just a nice bunch of guys they make the best Broadway latte or I guess it would be was iced coffee with creamer Broadway and their lavender is they make their lavender it is wonderful and the other day I was having so much trouble with my card and they gave me the coffee on the house cuz I go in there quite a bit I lived in fort Collins I'll be over there more they're just nice people quality is a plus plus I promise him I would do a review sorry that it took me a couple days I've been under the weather a little but it's just a great place to go so they get an A plus plus

I got the cream of mushroom and tomato soups and they were both kind of awful. The tomato soup tasted like canned Campbells and the cream of mushroom was just really tangy and not good. I really wanted to like this place. Staff was super nice though and the atmosphere was cute, just really bad soup.

Absolutely adore Butterfly Cafe!! Best quality and amazing prices. All things seem to be made fresh every day, and everything guest facing is always so cute, efficient, and clean. They have a patio that is beautiful in the summertime, the perfect place to enjoy one of their smoothies. Recommend to anyone visiting town!!

Came in to try the menu for the first time. I was met with a rude staff that seemed annoyed that I was even there. As well as while I was waiting for my food and drink they were talking very badly about another employee. I feel bad for people who have to work in environments with such negativity. Truly awful and I will not be back for this behavioral reason. However on top of all of this the food was cold and my smoothie was so expensive.

This is a cute little cafe a block off the main drag in Old Town. I popped in for a coffee pre-farm market on a Saturday. It was going to be another scorcher of a day so I went with iced. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. It is right near a parking deck. Since I was only caffeinating I did not have food but their pastry selection looked nice. There is a unisex bathroom that was clean and tidy Outside there are some small tables to enjoy the early morning shade. A worthy coffee stop.

Tl;dr: the garden sandwich here with hummus is the best sandwich I've had in the US. While that is a pretty absurd statement in and of itself, I can at least offer that I'm not vegetarian and enjoy a good deli sandwich as a food group (and shouldn't be written off immediately for my statement). After all, I have a Reubens spot in New York and make it a point to stop by Bay Cities when in Santa Monica. Yet, truth is truth. The best sandwich in America is the vegan sammy right here at the Butterfly Cafe. My husband and I stayed at the beautiful Elizabeth Hotel in downtown Fort Collins and decided to stop by before we headed to the airport. This café is really a full-windowed concrete hut. A maximum of six people can probably stand inside the café, uncomfortably. The bathroom, in contrast, can probably fit eight people, but that's besides the point. There are two stools inside the sunlit cove where you can squeeze in next to monsteras as well as a handful of tables outside. Perfect for take outs on days when it's 34 degrees outside. The menu options include sandwiches, smoothies, and breakfast classics. My normal go-tos are cold cut sandwich, and while the mushroom sandwich also caught my eye, I felt like going for something light and uncharacteristically opted for the garden sandwich. Hubby got the turkey avocado, and I was asked whether I wanted to substitute the cheese with hummus. I said, If it's good, sure. We were informed it'd take about 15 minutes. We stuck with it. It took over 15 minutes but both were absolutely the right decisions. The kicker to these sandwiches is that they bake the focaccia in house, and it is perfection. Pillowy inside, slightly crispy on the outside. I also adore the copious spread of artichoke hearts bits in the garden sandwich. And the lemony hummus-tahini combo perfectly seeped through the avocado, tomato, and spinach. Oh. So. Delicious. I wasn't even hungry yet ate the whole thing (ok, I shared a little bit). I also drank all of the Green Genie smoothie, which was also delicious. The gentleman who made it called for me, and I said, "Yeah, I know, I got the Genie." He said, "Yeah, I had to double check the name." Well, the Genie and the Garden Sammy both made disappearing acts into my belly. It wasn't me, it was them, I promise.

This place was fun and delicious. I ordered the spicy cold brew, and it was fantastic!! The energy bite and sandwich we got were also great. Lots of healthy options.

Service friendly, a bit of a wait during what was likely a busy time of day (noon/lunch). I got to enjoy the sun for a bit so it didn't bother me too much. Id advise not to come here for food/drink if you're in a rush. I would like to try the sandwiches, the freshly made focaccia bread behind the counter looked amazing. I got a 1.5" diameter chocolate chip cookie and a small lavender latte, it was tasty - especially the drink- however wasn't expecting it to amount to the cost plus 20% tip to be over $7. I'll come back if I'm looking for a more "gourmet", rich and smooth latte maybe, but not just for coffee or latte on a day to day. They list that their syrups are made in-house. Coffee: yum! They had a QR code for their menu and some menus available by the door. I appreciated it, however, with my time limitations and it being a very small cafe, jetted to get a spot in line. I look forward to taking a bit more time to explore their menu. I was already in the area and parked; however, just like many businesses in this area, there's primarily 2 HR or 3 hr parking. Hot tip: just west of the cafe, up a block there is free parking if you're hoping to spend additional time in the area, window shop, etc.

Customer service is absolutely terrible at this cafe. I have been into this cafe many times and I have yet to experience a friendly or welcoming experience. This is my last!!

We were doing some hikes just outside of Fort Collins and needed a quick lunch. It's a cute little cafe with a beautiful wrap around outdoor seating. The weather was perfect so we grabbed a table outside and ordered. We ended up getting a 3 cheese sandwich with the tomato bisque. Yum, the bread was amazing and it was perfect for dipping in the tomato soup. We also got a lunch box with a turkey sandwich. It was good too! I think we only needed the one sandwich!

The breakfast sandwich really is the highlight of this place. I'd come back again and again for that. It's got this awesome buttery/fluffy bread, a light scramble, tomatoes, and a spread that gives it that extra savory kick that makes it all come together. It's really special. The coffee? Not so much. I am a non-dairy drinker though, so I had given their house made almond milk a try. They add cinnamon and sweetener in it to try to give the milk some flavor and it did NOT come together. Too many strong competing flavors, I could barely taste the coffee! It's a cute cafe and the staff are super friendly though. And the coffees come in really unique mugs, which I love a good ceramic. I think if you just avoid the housemade nondairy alternatives the lattes would be drinkable. TLDR; Go for the breakfast sandwich for sure, be wary of the milk alternatives for the lattes.

Coffee was really good, blueberry muffin was just so so, but staff was not so friendly, kinda gruff. Not sure why, not too busy when we were there. Outdoor seating was nice with the dog and bikes.

Wahoo! What a fabulous place. Seating and tables are all outside, but no worries since it was fabulous outside. So relaxing and when the food came--so delicious!! Best breakfast burrito ever. Light but very filling and satisfying. Caramel latte was great too but for whatever reason did not agree with my tumster. This place was really what I was looking for.

The food is phenomenal! The people are not friendly & always look miserable (like not even a smile). I wish there were more shady areas to sit and eat. But nonetheless, great food & coffee if you're on the go and just have a quick 15 min to stop for something.

Came in to give this place a try. Ordered a 16 oz latte, and received a 12 oz latte. The employee working the register and who made the coffee was not very kind. Will not be back unfortunately.

The food and drinks here are amazing, and breakfast sandwich is TO DIE FOR!!! The employees are always so kind and the service is very quick, even when they are busy. It is an adorable place to sit and eat, however most of the seating is outdoors. I definitely recommend Butterfly Cafe!

I wanted to love this cafe! It's super cute, the ambiance is a quick grab and go theme. Organic and natural ingredients is the heart of their business. Their baked goods look amazing, and their breakfast/lunch options were great. I base a good coffee cafe off of their vanilla latte, and for me, the latte was very dark and bitter which is why I give them 3 stars BUT once I try their food, I will be sure to report!

Definitely a great place! They are pet friendly, as long as you sit in their outdoor seating. They were so amazing to us and my pup! They took care of him as well, bringing him out his own water bowl when we forgot ours was super nice! The staff was super friendly and fast! Food was great, I got the protein bowl and it was so worth it!

We stopped here on a long car trip and it was amazing!! Everything was fresh and homemade! Make sure you get the oatmeal cookies. We loved it so much we stopped on the way home too. The staff were also very friendly!

I seriously cannot believe they're pumping out the best breakfast sandwich I've every had in my life, right out of a cute little cafe. Ambiance is awesome with music playing and smells galore. Super chill vibes with great service, they were super nice! I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich or the pesto sandwich!

This is my second visit and second review, and it continues to deserve more than five stars! Not only is there food fabulous their service is fabulous too! It's the best lunch spot I've ever found.

This cafe will exceed any expectations, from their wonderful customer service, to their in house made pastries and bread there's never a dull moment. Even with their smallish size don't let a crowd push you away as they are timely and still personable. 5/5 would recommend and I will be returning forsure, also the best mocha latte I've had was here!

We are always on the lookout for a good place to grab a good, quick breakfast in the afternoon or evening. We like to sleep in on weekends, so usually miss the plethora of breakfast/brunch joints. Came across the Butterfly Cafe on Yelp and decided to check them out since they were open and serving their menu including vegetarian and vegan friendly breakfast items until 4pm. Hubby had the Loaded Avocado Toast with a Sunny Side Up Eggs, I had the Breakfast Burrito with all of the sauces. Our son had the Garden sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious and had the perfect amount of seasoning. So often we find food not seasoned well - not here! Service was super friendly and fast. The cafe is located in a tiny historic building that was built in 1964 that was the Poudre Valley Creamery Labratory Building.The cafe is tiny, with countertop seating/stools for 4. They also have some tables and chairs outside.

Solid place for breakfast sandwich. I didn't know what I was craving so I just ordered a Breakfast Sandwich and man did that hit the right spot. The bread tasted fresh and the pesto sauce was delicious. Highly recommend if you need a quick breakfast bite, come get it here.

A hidden gem of a cafe! I had a latte with home made spicy cashew milk, and a ham, egg, and pesto sandwich. The spicy cashew milk is unlike anything I've ever tasted. It's incredible and adds so much flavor to a drink. My sandwich was also a burst of flavor. It tasted like it was baked with love. The man & woman working were so cool and kind as well. I'd come back anytime!!

Food was good. A bit pricey for the amount of food one gets. Again the food was delicious. Plenty of indoor seating. And plenty of parking.

I drink a lot of coffee, but the drink I got here was by far my favorite I got after spending a week in Colorado! The dragon latte has espresso with their spicy house made cashew milk. The woman who took my order listed out all the ingredients for me when I asked, but I was hooked as she started. I ordered it iced. I took the first sip and my eyes lit up! I wished I had ordered a bigger size because this drink truly tasted like nothing I have had before and I don't know if I'll ever have again. I also wish we had time to try some of their food because the menu looked amazing. This is one of those little places I would go out of my way for if I were in town again!

Amazing! The food is so good and perfectly portioned sized. Try the soup of the day! I had the coconut curry and it was delicious. They really know what they're doing! To top it off the service is great:)

My family was looking for a place where we could get some nice breakfast food, but guess what? It was after 2:30 pm. What's with that? Some folks don't get up and out that early on a weekend, and there's no reason a restaurant can't serve a breakfast burrito all day long, is there? Anyway, we found the Butterfly Cafe, and holy cow, they were open until 4 pm! I ordered the loaded avocado toast with a sunny side up egg on each slice, and it was delicious. The artisan bread, the fresh eggs, the fresh veggies in abundance - SO good! My better half had the breakfast burrito, and loved it. I had a bite and can't wait until I can order it myself. The son had the Garden sandwich, and judging by the way he put it away it was delicious. (He told us he liked it, too). The service was fast, pleasant, and polite. The cafe itself is tiny, with countertop seating. They had some cute 4 tops outside, which would be pleasant dining in good weather. Loved this place, everything tasted so fresh and healthy, and we are eager to return!

Love this little spot! I have never been disappointed by their excellent service, delicious food and speedy service. Sam is always so friendly, much like their entire staff. Highly recommend the Grilled Mushroom sandwich!

My sister is friends with the owner, which is how I found out about this local gem. My man and I stopped by on our way up to Red Feather, and we both were so glad that we did! First off, the coffee is FAB. I had an iced americano because A: It was hotttttter than frick outside and B: if a cafe has good espresso then you know that everything else on the menu is going to be lit. You know when you go to Starbucks and sometimes you think your drink tastes like a campfire because the espresso is so burnt? Butterfly Cafe is like, the exact opposite. The espresso doesn't need any sort of sweetener to mask it, it's THAT good on it's own. Not burnt at all, but perfectly balanced and smooth. Delish! I ordered the Garden on gluten free bread, and was so happy to see that they are super accommodating! But the best part was that the bread didn't taste like it was gluten free! Gluten free bread that doesn't taste gluten free is always the best kind. Landin order the Ham Egg & Pesto sandwich for brekkie, and he enjoyed every bite. The croissant bun looked amazing! We both left super happy, full, and caffeinated. What more could you want? I am so excited about this new place, I am already making plans to come back and visit again. Trust a local, this place is legit!!

So yum! Their soups and sandwiches were the perfect thing after a hike in the cold. Small interior, but doing a good job of staying safe.

I am Gluten Free and Vegan. Although their GF bread is NOT vegan I do eat it and I love the avo toast and in the garden. The spiced chai is delicious as well. I hope someday they will get Vegan GF bread they make their own focaccia bread maybe someday they will make it GF and Vegan too.

We stopped into this cute little spot and ordered a breakfast burrito, a coffee, a latte, and 2 chocolate chip cookies (since they had just come out of the oven)! It hit the spot and they had some good local recommendations, plus they carry the local student newspaper which was a fun read while we were in town.

Fast delivery service. Excellent breakfast food. I loved my coffee drink. My husband did not like his. They make their own milk substitutes. 100% we would both eat here again

Finally had the chance to eat here and I'm really happy with everything I tried. I got the strawberry mint scone and breakfast tacos. The scone was a brand new flavor and wasn't too overpowering and was delicious. The tacos were flavorful and cheeses! I'm picky on my breakfast tacos and I really enjoyed them. My boyfriend got the 3 cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup and he said it ruined eating grilled cheeses because it was so good.

We stopped in to BC today for the first time. It is a cute small coffe/sandwich shop. The sandwiches are made fresh when you order on focaccia bread. They had a 1/2 & 1/2 where you could get 2 of the following: 1/2 sandwich, salad, or cup soup for $8. The food was all yummy and the cold brew was good as well. Great quality for the price. It does take a while (unless you order ahead) but was definitely worth the wait. The staff were friendly and working hard. There are several outdoor tables if you want to eat there. We will be back for sure.

I have been coming here regularly for years and these folks never disappoint. Best lattes in Fort Collins imo. Nice selection of dairy alternatives and the house made milks are super good. The food is equally amazing, you can tell they really put thought and care into each of the menu items. Avocado toast is my favorite, the lunch sandwiches and soups are very good (and the lunchbox is a great value), many fresh baked goods to choose from (the chocolate chip cookies are soo good), and really tasty smoothies. The service is also outstanding, they have a great team of people that are welcoming and knowledgeable. This place is a must try!

Went in this morning to grab a quick breakfast burrito before catching a bus. I had about 15-20 minutes before my bus left. The food was taking long so I asked if it could be expedited cause my bus was about to leave and she informed me she was starting it right then. She did not show haste in any way after that and continued to make my burrito very slowly. I understand it's a small place and they were busy, but it seemed very rude and passive aggressive. Finally, I had to just ask for my money back so I didn't miss my bus and I didn't receive an apology from anyone working there. I've been here a few times and the food is great, coffee is fine, but the customer service turned me off.

The absolute BEST breakfast sandwich in Fort Collins. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and added ham to it -- an amazing decision. The coffee is also excellent. I can't recommend enough!!

Nice little new cafe in Old Town. It's hard to imagine the actual effort and guts involved in opening a new unique spot in Fort Collins amongst the existing fray of competitive national and locally owned coffee houses and sandwich spots. But regardless of supporting the small local business or national chain, the food has to be good to have staying power. In the case of the Butterfly Cafe, us local Old Town residents (and the rest of FoCo) have a winner. Just a few simple yet flavorful items done right, and locally roasted coffee to round out a tiny little spot in an easy to get to location. Bring a buddy or a newspaper, sit down for a few with a nice cup of coffee and a perfectly grilled paninni (*even for us vegetarians) and pretend like your at a little Italian cafe in Rome for a bit.

The Butterfly cafe is a small place near Civi Center park. I tried it for the first time today and all I have to say is "Wow!". I had the croissant sandwich for breakfast and it was the highest quality from top to bottom, and delicious. The croissant was the best I have ever had in the United States. Buttery, flaky and soft, and the equal of anything I have had in Paris. Unlike other places, they do not skimp on ingredients. The avocado for example...it was actually ripe and instead of hard slices it was freshly smashed so it did not fall off of the sandwich. I am definitely coming here again.

The best hidden gem in town! Everything they do, they do to perfection! Such amazing flavors from coffee (gotta try the cashew milk) to sandwiches (their focaccia bread is "oh my goodness" good! The staff is extraordinary. You kinda just wanna hang out with them ALL THE TIME! Closed weekends, so catch them during the week for a delicious mouth full!

Yummy! But there is almost no seating indoors (no tables, just a narrow little counter), so be prepared for takeout unless the weather is good.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! The food is delicious, the prices are good, and the ingredients are quality. Also, when I got the gluten free bread they gave me two sandwiches since the GF bread is generally smaller slices. Very few restaurants do this and I usually get way less for a higher price. This was a great spot for a bite to eat. I highly recommend it.

Try the turkey avocado--it's fantastic! The staff that works there are so nice and really make a point to say hello and ask how your day is. Highly recommend!
