Butterfly Soho

This place was BEAUTIFUL!!! The view, the drinks, the vibes = so amazing. I kept this place noted since I can bring my friends here. We had such a good time just chatting and drinking the cocktails. We stayed so late, cause we felt so comfortable and safe and just were genuinely having the best time. I would 10/10 recommend

Great spot! Always in the area and finally stopped by one night. Their bartenders were very attentive even with it being busy. Satisfying playlist for anyone who goes there. The set up was very cool of the different areas to sit. Just get ready for the bouncer to act cool at the door and question whether they are going to let you up. This was so funny to see. I recommend this spot if you are in town with friends and want a cool late night spot or if you just want to grab a drink more low key earlier in the evening.

Beautiful atmosphere! Friendly staff and amazing drinks. Worth every dollar!! All these negative reviews sound like they all had expectations, so they screwed themselves by assuming. Go have a drink and stay till late because the music gets better as the night goes on!

Truly wasn’t impressed. The bouncer gave me a hard time about getting in, even after I gave the reservation name and my ID. The atmosphere itself is cool but way too dark. The food was bland and the service wasn’t the best. Took forever to get a drink. Glasses were chipped too.

The security was awful and when you pay $30 for a drink you are expecting more kindness but hell no !

I just had a very disappointing experience! I have been staying at the Sixty Soho hotel for about a week at a family suite avg $1k/night. Every single night we have being spending time at either their rooftop or lobby bar (Butterfly lounge). On my last night, we booked a reservation for the Butterfly lounge through the hotel concierge. I even got an email confirmation for the reservation. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the lounge “manager” who wanted to clarify me that they work separtely from the hotel and that my reservation was for the rooftop and not the lounge. She even told me that, that kind of mistake (hotel concierge mistake) is why she “doesn’t work on the hospitality industry”. How ignorant can you be as a lounge/bar manager to think you are not part of the hospitality industry?? Her attitude and rudeness trying to clarify me about issues that are purely management related between them and the hotel were truly unnecessary as a hotel guest. More so when they had more than enough space to accommodate us. Her hostility truly discouraged us from ever sponsoring this place again. I do not understand how the hotel can allow such treatment of their guest from a tenant.

The bar vibe and atmosphere is cute for a date or quick drinks with friends. Had a terrible time recently came for a friend’s bday, I was having back pain due to throwing my back out earlier in the week and asked for a comfy chair vs the allocated stool for the reserved area we were given. Management was very polite and allowed me a different chair with back support. A gentleman sitting beside me felt entitled to the seat and asked the wait staff to switch the seating arrangements. When the wait staff advocated for me he threw a fit and continued to switch the seating arrangements to get his way. His behavior and entitled demeanor was very off putting so my girlfriends and I decided to leave. Appreciate the staff for accommodating me given my condition but really did not like the behavior of that gentlemen. I don’t want to mingle with people this entitled.
