It was a pie kind of day. We got 4 pies and here’s how we felt about them. The strawberry cream was by far one of the best in the bunch. It was kind of like eating a strawberry shortcake on shortbread, if that makes sense since the crust tasted like shortbread (10/10). The next one we tried was the coconut cream pie. The meringue on top was fluffy with coconut flakes on top. The custard tasted pretty good, like something I’ve had before. My boyfriend said that it was like eating an Almond-joy. The crust also tasted like shortbread which I’m actually liking more than the traditional graham cracker crust (8/10). The next one is a classic key lime pie. I’m a crust person and well, I wish there was more of it, so that was kind of a let down. The key lime flavor is not too tart and the cream on top was perfect. Overall, it’s a good pie, but not the best (8/10). The last pie was the banana cream pie which is one of my favorite flavors, and well, it was delicious! Another 10/10!! Definitely buying again.
Price-wise, they’re more towards the pricy side given their small size and being at $6 each, but we got four, so that was actually $22. This was the second location I’ve been to, since I went to the one in Mansfield and well, you can read my review on that. Overall, it’s a nice place to stop by once in a while if you’re craving some pie. If you want something more affordable and decent, Walmarts got some 86 cents pies!
