Butters Pancakes & Cafe is a great place to go have breakfast. One of my favorites there was the berry French toast and the berry Pancakes. Not only with the presentation beautiful but the food was was delicious. There was a short wait when we arrived there and now I know why because of the food. From the time we were greeted to the time we were seated and got a check our service was outstanding !!! The atmosphere there felt a little homey and comfortable. I highly recommend this place !

Delicious breakfast food! The orange juice is fresh squeezed. The 2 eggs with sausage and harsh browns are out of this world delicious! Also, the French toast with strawberry and Nutella was fabulous.

The pancakes were an easy 10/10—so good that I had to order a second plate because one just wasn’t enough. The eggs were perfectly fluffy, and the coffee hit the spot. The place was a bit busy and loud during the morning rush, which made it hard to hold a conversation, but that didn’t take away from how excellent the food was.

We were here yesterday with my daughters for the first time. The food was delicious and portion is huge! We love what we ordered and most especially our server, Lua, she is amazing and my daughter appreciates her more because she never had someone like her who care too much of what she needs. I took some pictures of our food that we orderes that day!!! We had corn beef hash, Mexicana Omellete and mine was make your own Omellete then we got Strawberry and chocolate chip pancakes and the oreo! Love ir!

I ordered the chorizo egg burrito. I was really looking forward to having this burrito. I opened my burrito to add some salt and pepper, only to find it was nothing but eggs with hardly any chorizo. I asked the waitress if I could exchange this dish since it was not pleasing to me. The manager came over, and I expressed my dissatisfaction with the meal, asking if I could have a replacement dish. She okayed it, and I ordered the oatmeal. Oh and the hashbrown was overly cooked, no taste.

We stopped by for a weekday breakfast and it was super busy. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the eggs and bacon to the biscuits and pancakes, and the service was incredible so friendly and welcoming that we’ll definitely be back.

The food, service, and vibe here were all amazing. I had the veggie scramble with bacon and chicken sausage plus a waffle on the side, and it was so good I forgot to take a photo. Definitely the best I’ve had in Scottsdale sofar.

This restaurant has several locations in the area, so I'd expect very similar experiences :) Going during peak hour during the weekend, we were given a 25 minute wait time and it was spot on. The food was good and the restaurant was clean despite it being busy! It was very noisy, so I'd go during the week during non peak hours next time :)

Still my favorite brunch spot -- just one area for improvement Butters Pancakes is hands-down my favorite brunch spot in town. The chocolate chip pancakes with Vermont maple syrup and a side of bacon is my forever go-to -- comforting, consistent, and always delicious. The servers here are phenomenal -- warm, attentive, and always make me feel genuinely welcome. This place holds a special place in my heart. Earlier this year, before my father passed away, I brought him here to share one of my favorite meals. He was visiting from Hawaii, and I wanted him to experience the brunch spot I loved so much. That memory means the world to me, and it's one of the reasons I'll always have a soft spot for this place. The only consistent issue I've experienced is with the host stand. Their energy often feels too laid back -- almost unwelcoming. On multiple visits, especially near closing (even when I arrive a full 30 minutes before), I've been met with passive remarks like, "You've got maybe five minutes to order," even though I'm well within dining hours. It gives the impression that they'd prefer I not be seated at all. Once I'm seated, the experience completely turns around, which shows me this issue is isolated to the front of house. I truly love this restaurant -- it's familiar, special, and always worth the visit. I just hope the hospitality at the door eventually reflects the warmth and excellence of the rest of the team.

The Mayo location is always too busy so we drive a little further to this location our first time. Mayo location has a nicer interior than this location which feels more standard like a Denny's or something. And the interior was very crowded with customers. We still like to avoid people and avoid maybe getting COVID. But we chose to eat on the patio and it has a large fan and lovely greenery forming patio walls and forming windows. It's fake greenery but makes a lovely atmosphere. Food was great. As always at Butters restaurants

My sister and I stopped at this Butters location during a recent girls' day. I had been to Butters in the past, but never this location, and it was her first visit. Despite it being late morning, we were able to be seated without a wait and we were greeted by our server shortly after. For my meal, I ordered the baked potato omelette. My sister opted for a scramble and we both went with pancakes for our side. My sister's were topped with a mountain of whipped cream and had chocolate chips mixed in. We were both incredibly pleased with our meals. The restaurant has a nice vibe and the service was great as well!

My mother chose this spot for an early Mother's Day brunch recently, and it did not disappoint! We came around 8:45 A.M. on a Saturday. The wait time for a table wasn't bad, less than ten minutes. Service was fast, warm, friendly and attentive from start to finish. The ambiance was casual but bustling. The dining area was surprisingly smaller than we had thought it would be based on the outside. After looking over the menu, we ordered the New Mexico skillet with banana cream pancakes, the HMOP skillet, and a burger. All the items were of appropriate portion size, excellent in taste and seasoned perfectly, catering well to each of our taste buds. The eggs in the New Mexico skillet were nice and fluffy. The accompanying banana cream pancakes were also a nice delight, didn't even need syrup. They were sweet but they nicely balanced out the savory from the skillet. Overall, everyone was satisfied with our experience here. Don't let the wait times turn you off from trying this place out!

This was our second time in AZ and our second time to one of the Butters restaurants. The previous visit Butters was the best breakfast we had the whole trip. Happy to say we were just as satisfied the second time. Service was excellent and of course the food was as well. We didn't even have to wait very long. Definitely recommend and would go back again any time we are in AZ!

Excellent breakfast! Ordinate omelette and very sizable servings and very good food. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful, and I sat on the patio.

The best gluten free pancakes going. To of option for those with gluten allergies. The coffee came quickly, hit, and delicious. The staff was amazing we will be back.

Service was so friendly as they found me a table. Our waitress was really nice too and kept trying to have us be comfortable. The store was really clean and bright The food came out really quickly. I really wanted a hot coffee but unfortunately the frother was broken

We came in for a weekday breakfast and it was jam packed! Luckily they use the Yelp waitlist system so you can see your place in line. We sat outside and had an amazing experience. All of the dishes were excellent- eggs, crispy bacon, biscuits, and banana pancakes were all great. The potatoes were so unique and good. I wish more brunch places had this thin sliced type of crispy potato. The kids' pancakes were huge too. I have to call out the service. Abigail was simply amazing. My wife said it was some of the best service she's ever had. She was so warm and friendly. We will definitely come back next time we are in Scottsdale.

Great spot! Would give 5 stars if there was not a 20 minute wait for the table. Food was amazing! I had the Santa Fe scrambler with cheese grits and pancakes. You could serve me just a huge bowl of the cheese grits and I would have been delighted! They do not skimp on cheese and both the grits and scramble were "well cheesed". Pancakes were good, not as good as homemade but not complaints. My fiancé had the berry blitz pancakes with marscapone cheese and was super happy with it. Stuffed with mascarpone cheese, oozing cheese! Love how they respect the cheese. Service was quick and efficient and friendly! Coffee and waters were always filled. When we left like five people thanked us for visiting. Bathrooms were very clean with purse hooks and festive glitter wallpaper. Highly recommend!

This was a hidden gem! The food was so good as well as beautiful. Server was attentive, helpful and polite. We sat on the patio and it was just lovely. The heaters made things just right in December. One note-- there are three Butters Pancakes in pretty close proximity-- do make sure you know which one you are meeting your friends at! This location had a 15 minute wait while the wait fun the road was 45 minutes. So I'm now partial to this one!

My boyfriend took me out to brunch after church on Sunday as he's raved about Butter's for months and I just had to try it out. We put our names on the waitlist which was estimated 45 minutes to an hour and we went and ran some errands in the area in the meantime. The wait took about 45 but was worth every second. We were seated on the patio and our server was incredibly kind. We never had to ask for a refill on our coffees as our waitress came around often or someone was outside filling up cups. I loved sitting outside and they opened the windows as we were wrapping up to reveal a cute little garden area which was a gorgeous aesthetic on a calm Sunday morning. I loved my food. My skillet was a little spicy, just how I like it! The pancakes were sweet and the toppings were so creamy and delicious. I couldn't finish them all I was so full! If you're looking for a new brunch spot to take your friends, I highly recommend checking this spot out.

Good Friday may not be the Friday to visit Butters, but although they were busier than usual for a Friday, I didn't wait long. I ordered the whole hog skillet. It was better than expected and I wasn't able to finish it all. The latte was decent as well and the pancakes were an added bonus. I sat outside and really enjoyed the garden type feel. This is worth visiting again.

Food, service, ambiance and food again! Absolutely phenomenal I forgot to take a pic because it was so good. Had the veggie scramble added bacon and chicken sausage and a side of the regular waffle hands down the best in Scottsdale so far!

I want to recommend Butters to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast and incredible service while you are there!!! Sadie waited on my friend and I while we were just there and was ever so helpful, kind and gracious! We hadn't been together in quite awhile and Sadie made us feel comfortable and happy with her genuine kindness! We will be back again soon!!!

My favorite brunch spot! Food is always delicious, fresh, fast coming out. This place is always busy be prepared to expect a wait.. but it is well worth it!! Their pancakes is a must try! I recommend strawberry chocolate delicious! Their baked potato omelette is another of my favorites!! It's always pretty busy on weekends so do expect a bit of a loud atmosphere but again worth it!

I love this place!!! The smoothies are so yummy & fresh. Honestly, I haven't had anything bad. The French toast is so fluffy. The fruit tastes so fresh. The biscuits and gravy were nice and creamy. Some places water them down, but not this place. There were actual chunks of sausage too. The waitress was so friendly & very attentive. I can't wait to come back. I wish they took reservations, but it is worth the wait.

Based on the food alone I would give 5 stars, service was great, but our table was tiny and right in front of the kitchen and barely big enough to hold our plates or my date. We ordered a lot and it was all amazing. Would go back and request different table.

Lou was the best server EVER! I'm not kidding and I'm not exaggerating. She was fabulous! The food is really good and the restaurant itself is clean and comfortable but Lou pushed this to a solid five star review!

Overall the food tasted great. It was decently crowded (as expected) on a Sunday around 11am. The food came out at what seemed like record speed (less than 10min). The HMOP skillet and Eggs Rojo were both delicious. The wheat bread was one of the best I've ever had (top 3 all time lol). The hash browns were unique. They were almost like smashed potatoes rather than traditional shredded. They were different but delicious. The only real downside to this place was it seemed a little overpriced given the portion sizes (a regular occurrence these days). Also, they don't really do substitutions as simple as swapping veggies in a dish without an extra charge of course. Other than that, I thought it was great and would go back.

Live and work in area, first visit A+. Second visit A+. 3rd visit C- Service always great Latest visit : fries burnt and tasted like oil they were cooked in was old. Beacon. Burger always great. Fix your fryer and I'll be back.

Been taking my 84yr old dad to Butters every year about 2-3 times. He sure does love their food like I do. We always have great servers, which make the long wait times WORTH it! Love the place. We keep coming back:)

Service was great. The food was delicious! We were in town for spring training and this was by far the best breakfast we had. Pancakes were light and fluffy. We'll be back.

I've seen this place several times during breakfast searches on Yelp and I can say with confidence that I am utterly disappointed to have not been coming here for years. Food is fantastic and out before you're even ready for it, service is just as quick and great, and the place is adorable! Sat outside on a summer morning around 11 and they did a great job with cooling and atmosphere! Love it and can't wait to come back.

I was early for a meeting in North Scottsdale and wanted breakfast. Used app to find places. Found Butters Pancakes and got a table with no waiting. Allison was my server and she was great. Always back to check on me or refill my coffee. Warning, the portions are huge and served hot. It was a Saturday morning so the place was packed and a bit noisy. I'll be back on a weekday or later in the day.

The food was disappointing. The corned beef hash skillet was blah; seriously no flavor. The banana cream pancakes looked beautiful, but unfortunately, they were cold. The server was friendly but not very efficient, by the time she came back to ask us how the meal was we were almost done. I don't think we will be back.

We went here with my 5 year old and we had the best experience. Jason is probably the best server we've ever had and we saw him give excellent service to the table next to us as well. He is great with the adults and even better with the kids! Food was great as well, along with the music and overall vibe.

Our first experience at Butters and it was phenomenal. Quick service, even on a busy day... servers were attentive and thorough. Quite possibly the best gf pancake I've had yet... yummy vanilla latte as well. Atmosphere was lively and fun, love the style and ambiance.

Treat your tastebuds to delicious goodness! Have a breakfast your grandmother would be jealous of! The pancakes could not have been more fluffy, perfectly cooked, and delicious! Strawberry Chocolate Chip pancakes are worth the wait, travel time, and definitely the price! The Classic Benedict should have its picture featured next to its description on Webster's Dictionary as this is the closest you will come to perfection! Service was attentive, friendly, and prompt! All that in a bright classic setting. While I was raving about our experience a few days later I was surprised to hear of folks familiar with Butters and their love of it as well. Officially added to the breakfast restaurant rotation!

The Berry Bliss pancakes were absolutely amazing!! There are blueberries with vanilla cream in between the pancakes. These are a must try!! The Omelette was very good! It was light, fluffy with just the right amount of ham, bell peppers and onions. I had them add avocado also. The omelette was not overcooked. It was perfect! The third dish was a vegan bowl that my wife had. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. After eating I knew why it was crowded. I personally give this place a 10! Our waitress kept checking in on us as we ate.

This was on a restaurant list provided by our concierge of places that the staff had eaten at. Sol was our server. She was great. Very attentive. Our coffee cups refilled constantly. And on our way out she provided coffees for us to go. We ordered: * hubby had the cinnamon apple brioche French toast * I had the bacon, onions, hash brown skillet with choice of toast or pancakes and two eggs. I went with pancakes and two eggs over hard. Went well with my skillet. We both enjoyed what we had. Our food came quickly once we placed our orders. Everything was on point. Lately I've been only eating half of what I've ordered. This was the case with my skillet. I reheated my leftovers the next morning. Served it like an egg sandwich. Still good. Available parking in the lot.

Food is delicious! Service was awesome! Got the California scrambler and some strawberry chocolate chip pancakes and I would 100% eat it again! Great brunch spot!!!

This breakfast spot is always good. Service is great and always friendly. Everything is good but if I must pick, I must say that they make a work of art out of a simple scrambled egg order... it's like a perfectly cooked meal pillow of delicious eggs. Wonderful and YES I will keep coming back for more. Beautiful work!

Love Butters! Staff always so friendly and accommodating. Patio dining is our favorite but inside is good too. Food is top notch and delivered super fast. Coffee and real (!) cream flows endlessly and fresh squeezed OJ is a real treat. No wonder they are always busy. Get there early (before 8am) if you prefer not to wait. Also no reservations or advance wait-list at this location.

We had driven by this restaurant several times hoping, thinking we'd like to stop sometime. Yesterday morning we had the opportunity. It was excellent. The food was presented well and very tasty. Our server was awesome. Great place to go for breakfast and large portions you can share.

The Mexicana omelete is the best! Honestly, their entire breakfast menu is amazing. I work in the same complex and I send many of our guests there.

Shelby was amazing and our food was too! One of the best places to grab breakfast in Scottsdale. The cinnamon bun pancakes were off the chart.

This is THE BEST breakfast spot in the valley. Quality is unmatched and top notch. Coffee is great, fresh squeezed orange juice, is a must and the pancakes are to die for. Service is always great, personable and friendly. I have been coming here for years and I have never had a bad experience. The space is bright and always clean. It's safe to say, I love it here!

We stopped in for breakfast at 8:30 on MLK Day and it was busy. We got a table and from the get-go the service was terrific. We ordered Eggs Benedict with hash browns and the Biltmore chicken sandwich with fries. After a short wait, our food came out piping hot. And both dishes were delicious. We asked for the eggs to be a little more cooked and they were perfect. The chicken sandwich had a large chicken breast with fresh toppings. By the time we left, there had to be 20 people waiting. Maybe the holiday or maybe snowbirds but it's a rockin' restaurant.

Busy on a Saturday AM!! 30+ minutes. Worth to wait. Pancakes are excellent.. perfect balance of sweet and slight nut flavor. A bit noisy when full, but can still have conversation. Iced caramel latte is the best around!
