Visited on a Saturday at dinnertime. An excellent dining experience! The hostess seated us quickly at a nice table with good window view! Our server, JORDAN, was EXCELLENT!! Very attentive and friendly, taking our drink and meal orders promptly, and checking back with us regularly to see how everything was. Good, varied selections on the menu, all priced reasonably, and prepared to perfection. Located just steps to the Peddler's Village shops, with easy access to major local roads. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Our food was delicious! Kelly was an awesome server. It was our first time there. Beautiful day out on the patio.

Google
Great spot for lunch in Peddler's Village. Interesting menu with gourmet pizza, unusual burgers, salads and appetizers. We love their Fire Roasted Pizzas with unusual toppings. We opted for the pizza loaded with fresh mushrooms, gorganzola cheese and Truffle oil (see photo). Although we had Pepsis, they have a very extensive beer and wine menu. Our server was friendly and helpful and did not rush us when we said we just wanted to "chill."

Extremely friendly waitress super fast service there is often a wait here during popular times Had the Hawaiian Mojito pretzel logs and pepperoni coal fired pizza brought my pup zena and sat out on the deck deck is open Thurs to Sunday weather permitting

Great fries, burger meat was good but not perfect, bun was dry, not enough juice from meat, cheese was good, bacon was noticeable, tap water, not very clean in the hall Overall, not a bad place, I recommend visiting, but not on a regular basis.

From the moment I made my families reservation until the last bite of dessert was savored, we had an amazing experience with The Buttonwood Grill!! I had made a reservation for dinner for my family, whom was gathering in Peddler's Village for a family reunion. We were a group of more than 20, with ages from preteen to I'm too polite to mention. Everyone left with a smile on their face. The staff worked so hard to make sure we sat together, they catered to my children's allergies, and made sure everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I wish I could thank everyone my name, though sadly I only got the name of our exceptional waitress, Kelly! She definitely enhanced our experience. The picture of my family here says it all, this is a great place for small to large groups to enjoy a great meal with plenty of laughs, smiles and memories!! We will definitely be back looking for Kelly the next time we have a family reunion here. =)

Google
The Buttonwood Grill was a perfect place for our family to have lunch after rafting on the river. There was something for everyone including two kids 7 and 11. Everyone was pleased with their meals. Pasta with marinara, soft pretzel appetizer, fries, pizza, bison burger, turkey burger and a beef burger. Service was excellent. We would definitely go back!

Yelp
Best burger around!!! Great food at reasonable prices. Our hostess was exceptionally nice and our server was outstanding. All around top notch experience!

Yelp
Ordered turkey o'keefe, fell apart when i picked it up, soggy bread, looked like a blind person tried to put it together, not edible. Potato salad seemed to consist of day old french fries, mashed potatoes, and sliced fried potatoes held together with some kind of gelotinous goop. Waitress was miserable until time to pay. Disgusting!!!!!

Yelp
This place is incredible! We weren't gonna after we walked in, seemed like an "early bird special" kinda crowd. SO glad we did. We met our server, and she convinced the whole table to get burgers and not gonna lie, it was the best burger of my LIFE. Their seasonal drink menu was great too. I tried the cranberry mule and it was a good balance of cranberry and vodka with a little spicy kick. I'm sad this place is on the other side of the state, but I'll be back next time I'm in town! Happy Eating!

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my family when we were visiting the area. All the food was OK. My husband got the soup of the day which he did not like and the tacos which he said were eh. I got one of the salads which was satisfying. The kids food was what you expect. we did have to wait a little bit for a table. If you're looking for something to eat real quick with no high standards, this is the place to go.

Yelp
Very welcoming place as you walk in the the front door. Very spacious place that you are not sitting up on others. And they have a nice size deck area outside. Today was 95 degrees and humid. Air conditioning was very necessary. The staff was friendly and very patient with people. My waitress was really friendly and attentive. The menu has a lot to choose from. I nice children's section of foods I went with my usual cobb salad with chicken and shrimp. Any salad made with Cole slaw is good with me. The dressing added a nice flavor to it. My granddaughter raved about her pasta. So I had to try it. And yes, it was really good for just pasta. The burger was huge and cooked to a perfect need rare. This is a very family style restaurant. Room for big family gatherings if need a place with great food.

Yelp
We had reservations for lunch for two couples. We were seated in a nice area of the restaurant with windows which seemed nicer than the dark interior tables closer to the restrooms. The menus were dirty and wrinkled like they had been in heavy use. If you can't have clean menus it makes you wonder what else is not clean. It just doesn't set the right tone. Our server Alex was fine. She did what she had to do but never checked on us during the meal. She seemed to be handling several tables so I'm not sure if this is just a staffing issue. Our food was fine- turkey sandwich, tuna melt, burger, and ribs platter. The desserts were really good- salted caramel mousse, chocolate chip cookie, and sticky bun bread pudding. Parking is across the street. Buttonwood was fine but I would try another restaurant before returning.

Yelp
*We spent the day at Peddler's Village and were famished when it was time for lunch. Buttonwood Cafe had a great ambience and was kid-friendly. They didn't give us a hard time about stroller. Great kids meal offerings. * My MIL ordered the Cheddar burger - wrong fries and forgot bacon. Corrected that by bringing potato fries. SP fries were VERY good but not hot when they arrived * Guinness burger - absolutely delicious * Kids grilled cheese with fruit: good even by adult standards * Old fashioned- generous pour * Grilled turkey okeefe style- definitely needed more apples but otherwise great. Got side of honey mustard. Dill potato salad on the side- very good.

Yelp
This was pretty standard grill food-some interesting combinations. Was surprised to still see many butternut squash options on the menu in June, but I like butternut squash and it was a rainy day. Was happy to be able to get a naked turkey burger. It was a just a bit dry but the Mediterranean toppings did help. Also got a house salad, and enjoyed the vinaigrette but it was so thick and creamy, it was hard to use it as a dressing.

Yelp
Buttonwood Grill has great burgers and I love their pickles! Food is a bit pricey to say the least, but that's pretty much most restaurants in peddlers Village... I would recommend if you're in the mood to sit down and enjoy some good American cuisine .

Yelp
Food wasn't that great. I had a burger and it was dry. My husband had corn beef and he didn't like it. The waitress did not check on us so I was unable to get a drink refill. The food did the some time to get. It was a busy night with Fire, Frost and Fun going on. I have been to this restaurant before when it was slow during the day for lunch and the food was good but that was a few years ago.

Yelp
Burgers off the chart Service always good Drinks and specials are creative Booth with window seat is the best ambiance Meatloaf is my go to hands down

Yelp
Beautiful place. Service was fantastic. Our food was fantastic. We shared spinach artichoke dip then each had a burger. Beat burger I've had in a long time. Very flavorful. Special drink was strong and delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner after some walking/shopping around Peddler's Village. We were seated quickly and our request for a different table choice was accommodated which we greatly appreciated. Our table had a nice view through a series of windows out onto the main road of the shops. We ordered three appetizers to get started: Grilled street corn, Mediterranean Hummus, and Baked Soft Pretzel Sticks. The appetizers were excellent, especially the grilled street corn which was amazing. For entrees we had the White Pie, Full rack of BBQ ribs, and the Endive Pear Salad. We also ordered a blueberry cheesecake which was a special item ending today. Dinner entrees were all very good, but not exceptional. The White Pie was a highlight. The ribs were good but lacked depth of flavor in my opinion. Would definitely eat here again and recommend if you're shopping over at Peddlers. I saw a mention of flies in another review and we also had flies buzzing all around our booth while we ate. This is tough to control I'm sure, but it definitely detracts from the dining experience and was part of my 4-star rating.

Yelp
Holy YUMMMMMM! This place must be tried. I'm not even a big burger person, but I had to try one since they're known for them. I was NOT disappointed! First, had to get the onion rings as an app. Perfectttttt!! Gobbled those right up. The Mediterranean burger with the dill potato salad on a hot summer day? PERFECTTTTT! Omg it was seriously the best burger I've ever had. So flavorful. Could only eat half, it was so big. The outside seating is nice and the drink menu is fun too! Will be back again for sure!

Yelp
We got take out from here for the room. We tried the squash salad, salmon and chicken fingers. It was quick and just fine. Breakfast service the next day was terribly slow. We had pancakes, a skillet and spinach and mushroom omelet. The food was good but service left me feeling upset

Yelp
this place was a nightmare. We went to peddlers village to enjoy the lights and shops. I thought we could swing by here and get something to eat before we started our journey. We got there and it was a full house (understandable for a Friday night) there's no room to wait in the lobby so you have to squeeze against a wall. We waited about 30 mins and we were then seated next to a screaming baby. Our waitress Liz came to take our drink orders. She was very polite and kind. Well she took our drink orders and was gone for about 10 mins until she came back to deliver them. She left right away and didn't ask if we were ready to order. So another 10-15 mins went by. Finally upon her return, we were able to order. My husband and I both ordered burgers. He got the holiday apple butter burger and I got a regular cheeseburger. I specifically ordered extra cheese because I got mine well done. Well as you can imagine the food came out 45 mins later. My husband was in the bathroom, she sits the food down and ask me if the food was ok...how would I know if you just sat it down?....anyways...my husband gets back and he said his burger was amazing. I took a bite of mine and realized there was no extra cheese. Not a big deal I took a bite and it definitely needed extra. Again no big deal. I'll wait for the waitress to come back and check and I'll ask her to bring out a slice of cheese. Well moral of the story, the waitress never came back until about 45 mins later, my drink was gone and I couldn't eat my burger anyways because I was so thirsty. So my food got cold and I refused to eat it or take it home. When the waitress finally made her return, I asked for the bill and I explained about my burger being incorrect and I had no drink, thinking that maybe she would redeem herself and I could just give her a nice tip. Well, she brings the bill and left my meal that I sent back on there. And that's right you guessed it, left again for 15 mins. Upon her return to pick up the payment I asked her to please take mine off as I sent it back and it was not how I requested. She got super pissy and told me that's not something she can do, her manager has to do it. (So shouldn't you just asked your manager to do it in the first place) common sense to me but whatever. What really set it off for me was when she brought the corrected bill back and threw it on the table instead of handing it to me. I'm not going to say I would never come here again, but I promise you, I won't let a waitress disrespect me when it was something that was easily able to be fixed. Managers. Please tell Liz to be more attentive to her customers, if that was the old unmarried me, there would have been a different outcome. Super unprofessional and inattentive!

Yelp
We came here for lunch on our trip to Peddler's village. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The staff were very attentive and the wait time was reasonable. We both tried the Bison burgers and they were delicious. We are looking forward to coming back sometime with some friends.

Yelp
We had a nice dinner with our friends at the Buttonwood Grill. Our meals consisted of hamburgers, onion rings (excellent), clam chowder and salads. Atmosphere was nice. Plenty of parking across the street. Take credit cards. Large bar area with plenty of beers on tap. Service was prompt and friendly. We would go back again for sure. Not overly noisy. We all had a nice time.

Yelp
Order two burgers tonight, both of them bison, which should've been a special order above and beyond the normal burgers. Both of the burgers were cold the cheese on the blue cheeseburger, which was one of them was not even melted, and the other one was like a hockey puck Both were supposed to be medium. Both were way over done with no pink whatsoever in the middle. One was with fries one was with coleslaw. The one with fries came with like 10 fries and ice cold. The problem I have with all of this is that I have arrived early for the takeout order and waited 10 minutes and this is what I got.

Yelp
What a great place to eat. Arrived just after 2pm and there was no wait. Quickly got a table and the server greeted us and gave us a run down on the specials. Decided on the Kenneth square pizza, order of truffle fries, and some hummus. SO GOOD. The hummus had fresh veggies and was great. The truffle Fries and the garlic aioli was so good I took the aioli home! The pizza was the best. Gorgonzola on top made it even better.

Yelp
The food was amazing but hostess was another story. I walked in and was holding the door for another woman struggling with a stroller, the hostess walked over to me and said "Can you not hold the door open? People in the dining room are complaining that they are freezing." And I saw the lady that complained and she was wearing a winter jacket! So the poor lady was holding her young child while struggling while trying to get in the door. And silverware was dirty.

Yelp
Never been to Peddlers Village and decided to stop at Buttonwood for lunch. There was a long wait but I managed to snag a sit at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly and made you feel welcome. After reading the menu the three meat burger blend caught my eye. It has brisket, short rib and beef and it was amazing! I asked for medium and it was cooked to temperature and so juicy. It came with a choice of side and i picked the potato salad. It wasn't the best I've ever had but good. I should have got the fries after seeing them on another diners plate. lol. Great place to dine while in Peddlers Village. I would visit here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Family friendly. Food is also vegetarian friendly. Our server was attentive. The only downside is that this place isn't open late, ie after 9:30 pm on weekends.

Yelp
Fiancé and I had a date night at this wonderful restaurant! There was a wait, but we were able to go to the stores near the restaurant to pass time. We started with the Onion Ring appetizer that came with a parmesan sauce and it was absolutely delicious! The onion ring batter was well seasoned and it did not fall apart easily. When you bite into each ring, the onion did not come out of the breading which is a huge plus! I had the meatloaf and fiancé had the Grilled Turkey O'Keefe style sandwich. The meatloaf was phenomenal and out of this world. It was probably the best meatloaf I have ever had and the mash potatoes that came with it was smooth and well prepared. If you are in the area, definitely visit this restaurant and the stores that surround the restaurant.

J A H.

Yelp
We've been there a few times. The food is decent but not great. The waitstaff is friendly, but the hosts and hostesses are rude and poorly trained. It takes forever to get seated. Usually two or more of them are more interested in talking to each other than facing the customers. Say hello, at least. Have a plan when a customer walks in. I won't be back.
google avatar

Andy S.

Yelp
Found ourselves at Peddlers Village browsing through the store getting hungry. Luckily there were restaurants with good reviews making the decision tough as to where to go and we picked Buttonwood Grill. Was looking for a place for a cold beer to go with lunch and they had a decent selection on hand. What really won me over was the fact they had Coastal Evacuation? A double IPA, from Cape May Brewery in Tap. Definitely one of my favorite Brereries and beers so my meal started off on a really high note. The menu had a decent selection to chose from and we ended up ordering a burger a d the pulled pork sandwich. I will say I saw hot sliced cherry peppers on a different burger and requested them on my plain burger. All to often, these simple request are often dismissed. However my request was easily accommodated and a great compliment to my burger. Beer was cold, service was great, and the food was tasty. A great meal all around. We were able to be seated as soon as we entered, and our drinks were served and food came out in a reasonable time and we were back to shopping in no time. If you find yourself in Peddlers Village or passing through, you may want to check this place out.

Yelp
This restaurant was fine during a busy season, I wouldn't rush back, but it was just what we needed during a day of holiday festivities in the Village! The three stars is because the food was average. It's priced as you'd expect for a burger and pizza. The calamari appetizer was on the small side. They have an average size menu, and meatloaf is featured which I found odd, as it's not a diner, a Perkins or somewhere trendy and Ironic. They use a "proprietary blend" meat for their burgers, but it's not locally sourced or sourced from anywhere mentionable- if you care about that kind of thing... What left us feeling satisfied after $60 of average fare, was that service was excellent! The host stand was welcoming and our server Maria was friendly, thoughtful, and attentive. Thank you, Maria!

Valcha R.

Yelp
Had reservations for 12:00. Were asked to leave after 1 1/2 hours. I get it, holiday season, but as we waited 15 more minutes for the bill, we received dirty looks from the main hostess or manager, whoever she was, carrying around her tablet. I heard her commenting to the party arriving beside us, that we should have listened to her the first time she asked us to leave. As our elders were trying to part from the nice, small corner we were in, we noticed patrons still sitting enjoying company that were there when we arrived. Aside from the waitress being nice, potato salad was good, sandwich was subpar, this place isn't worth it. Her looks and remarks were obvious and unprofessional.

John C.

Yelp
First of all, the Buttonwood had an awesome atmosphere. I felt like I was back in Ireland. As for the service, my group of 5 was seated in less than 10 minutes on a Saturday evening, which was fantastic. I throughly enjoyed the Pastrami sandwich and loved the side of coleslaw. The pastrami was tender, smoky, and not overly-greasy. The pretzel bun was outstanding and the mustard added a subtle kick. The coleslaw had a delectable crunch and wasn't drowned out with liquid. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Even if you don't have time for a meal, go for a drink to check out the ambience.

Yelp
We come here from time to time when my wife wants to visit peddlers. This restaurant is quite large and usually will always have space. The burgers are really great, love their creative drinks too. There is a lot of food and something for everyone. Service is always friendly and fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
We decided to come back for a third time with family and while I appreciate them being open and all during covid, today must have been an off day for them. For drinks we ordered the orange Creamsicle & peeping it real. The peeping it real tasted like juice, tasty with a cute peep decoration. The orange Creamsicle was pretty standard. It was ok. Our guests had water and beer. The mystery kids had apple juice and chocolate milk. Ordered the salt & pepper calamari again and it wasn't crisp, it lacked flavor. No pepper or salt at all. Just bland and not fried enough to achieve the crispy effect. So a thumbs down on that one. Our guests ordered the shredded chicken quesadilla which they said lacked flavor. Very sad to hear this. They also ordered burgers and they liked them so that was a good thing because that was what we came for anyways! Mystery man got his usual Mediterranean burger and he enjoyed it. Mystery kids had the pasta with butter & parm with a fruit cup, as well as the chicken fingers with French fries. Much of the fruit was inedible. Everything else was pretty standard. Thumbs down for gross fruit. For myself I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and thought it was ok. For my side I ordered the sweet potato fries and they were good. But they're fries. I think I would come back if I wanted a burger, but really only stick to the burgers when ordering from here.
google avatar

Vishal P.

Yelp
Staff was friendly but service slow and took forever to get our food and drinks. Food was only okay. Probably wouldn't come here again unless I was already at Peddler's Village.

Yelp
I was taking a stroll in peddlers village bc I wanted to se the sand castles and I stopped for a bite at buttonwood, t is is my first time eating here! The food was delish, loved the potato salad and the waitress Kelly was fantastic and very friendly!

Yelp
I got the sausage pizza and was severed it was really good! I also recommend the chocolate rice crispy treat. Ther is lots of space and has a big bar.

Yelp
We didn't eat here but the vibe is cool, prices are fair and the bartenders really and gives a good pour of wine. Good choice a few steps out of Peddlers Village. Just wish they had a back deck to view the rolling hills and tree farm that sits out back

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch while visiting the area. The wait time was about 45 minutes, and they take your phone number and text you when the table is ready, which is good, so you aren't wasting time sitting around. I saw that on opentable this place had a rating of 4.6, but didn't check the yelp reviews and wish I had, as yelp has it rated lower, which is more accurate. The menu was limited, but prices weren't bad. We ended up getting the fish tacos and the Thai cob salads. The taco dish, you get two tacos which do not have that much fish in them and a small amount of fires. If you're going to be cheap with the fish, then add a third taco to the dish or more fries, so people don't leave hungry. The Thai cob salad came with a good amount of veggies because they are cheap, but the chicken was thin and could've been a better portion size. We also got a winter sangria and an apple cider mimosa, which weren't bad. The service was good, but the place looked like it could've used a better cleaning. There is also a 3.99% fee for using a credit card.

Yelp
Good food good service Staff smiles and talks to you Not like some other places up the road

Yelp
Burgers, other food, & drinks were very good. Staff is wonderful & attentive. Good place for couples, group of friends, & families even with young children.

Yelp
Set right at the main entrance of delightful Peddler's Village, we reserved a table at Buttonwood Grill to celebrate a birthday with dinner out. We decided to eat indoors, as they don't reserve tables on their patio - it's first come, first served, and we knew we wanted to eat at a certain time. The restaurant is larger than expected, with plenty of booths and tables, and a nice bar area. The menu is not extensive, but it has something for everyone, from pizzas to burgers. To drink, I ordered a non-alcoholic spritzer, which was very refreshing. For my meal, I had the Plain Jane burger with french fries. Although my hamburger tasted fine, I had ordered it to be cooked medium-well, but it arrived well-done. My son thoroughly enjoyed his white pizza; he ordered it without the broccolini and thought it was perfect. The wait staff was very attentive, checking on us often and refilling our water glasses.

Yelp
Honestly we stopped here as a last resort. We usually go to the Harts Tavern or the Fres Cafe but they were packed and had a large wait. Luckily this place had a spot open and we were able to get seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside and basically had our own private room. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend and go back.

Marc F.

Yelp
visited dinner with the in-laws with a gift card. e arrived later on a saturday evening for dinner with a reservation. must have been close to closing because the place was a dump. lots of tables not cleared of used plates and glasses. food scraps on the floor and not swept up. low and dim lighting. a little disappointing as far as the ambience goes because we've had great experiences at other restaurants and cafes at peddlers village. ordered a flatbread pizza and beet salad. the food was just ok. our server was nice and the host allowed us to wait at the bar and order drinks while we waited for our table. again not sure why we waited since the restaurant was relatively empty with unbussed tables everywhere. not sure we'd come back

Yelp
Place is a hidden gem in bucks county. The "butchers block burgers" are a reason to come here. I go with bacon and blue cheese crumbles every time. To die for. Their onion rings are incredible with the parmesan dipping sauce. They also have one of the better bar pizzas. I typically get the shaved pepperoni pizza. Very consistent good food. Im gonna say best burger in bucks county. Three of my favorite things: Burgers - Buttonwood Beer - Free Will Brewery Ice Cream - Ninas Homemade Ice Cream All three are in Peddlers and top notch.

Yelp
Stopped in for a celebratory dinner and enjoyed our visit. The burgers are definitely a showstopper. The restaurant was a little overloaded, but food and drink services were prompt. Pricing is a little bit more expensive than would be expected.

Yelp
Definitely get their burgers. It's what they are good at making for sure. My friends and I enjoyed our food. Due to covid and short staffed there was a bit of wait. Service was good. Place is spacious and clean. I would come back here again. Will update view.

Yelp
This restaurant is fabulous! The food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, the prices are affordable, and the place is immaculate!

We were staying in Golden Plough inn and our room was above the Buttonwood Grill. We went down to join our family for lunch before an event. The staff kindly let us join the table already in progress rather than make us wait. Our server, Kelly was great. She was prompt, funny and clearly enjoys her job. I had a Swiss Cheese Burger to which Kelly suggested adding mushrooms. Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had! My only regret is that I don't live there so I can order that burger again!

Yelp
Recent experience was below par and arrogant. They think they are going to get customers because they are in peddlers village and think they can be below par and arrogant with their cleanliness and hospitality without caring for customer experience. When I talked to their manager about it, didn't seem to care much and was ok with us not returning

Yelp
My favorite place to go when at Peddlers village. It was one of those incredibly hot days this summer so we opted for lunch inside instead of the outside deck. The service was attentive as this was a weekday afternoon so not a super busy time. After getting an ice cold beer, We ordered an appetizer of burrata and tomato. Hugely generous portion and delicious with fresh cheese and a few garlic cloves for taste. We also split the onion and bacon burger. Cooked perfectly and the horseradish was a tasty addition. Oh, almost forgot, the onion rings were really good too. You'll never go wrong with a burger here. The menu is extensive - salads, pizza, sandwiches, full entrees. Needless to say, we'll be back again.
