Buxton Hall

Moved my kid in for the fall term and noticed a few things. For students spending $40,000 a year, their dorms are rather unpleasant and small. Buxton had a single elevator for all of the students who were moving in and UHD didn't allow parking on the street in front of the hall. We had to unload everything, go to long term parking about 1/4 mile away and walk back. This really posed a problem for people who didn't bring the whole family out. We had to leave stuff on the curb because it didn't fit into the bins, while the two of us went back and forth and prayed no one stole our stuff. Very poorly planned, and executed in my opinion. Maybe pull back some money from football and help the majority of the students on campus? The lunch you all served was awful too. How can you screw up burgers so badly?

(I'm a parent who visited...) Dated dorm. Good location on campus. Has a community kitchen and private study rooms.

Fifth floor is pretty quiet. Not much going on at any given time, but my room was in good shape.

I lived with the living reincarnation of Rasputin and I still had a good time!

It was a good place to live, I enjoyed fifth floor. There were a lot of cool people there.

I mean it's your typical college dorm built decades ago. What's to tell? This isn't a country club FFS! Get to learnin' kids.

Overpriced dorms much like any dorm hall at OSU however I did enjoy living there for a year.
