My mom and I really enjoyed our Valentine's Day brunch here. We're both vegetarian, and there was a lot of the menu beyond salads for us to order! I really enjoyed the spicy quinoa bowl -- the tofu was really well done and flavorful. Always cool to see local art on the walls. I believe they have music some days as well. A nice stop if you're in Oak Park, and it's in walking distance from the Conservatory!

We stopped in on a Saturday morning to grab coffee to go. We were asked three times, “Are you dining in or taking out?” The pace was urgent and staff was quite short with us. My friend wasn’t sure what flavors of muffins they had but panicked because the barista seemed exasperated and ended up not getting what he wanted. We were polite and grateful because we knew they were busy, but would have loved a bit more kindness. It’s a great location, had fun live music for a Saturday morning, and the drink hit the spot at a decent price. For take-out, was a slightly anxiety-inducing experience. I’d like to go back for dine-in to maybe be able to enjoy the experience more.

This is a cute cafe with a nice variety of drinks and food. Food: Very satisfying and flavorful. Drinks: Wide variety. Coffee is scalding hot, so be careful. Service: We ordered food to go, and while waiting at the table nearest the door (in an empty restaurant), we were informed that the tables were there for in-house diners and that we would "know better for next time." Approximately 5 minutes later, we were asked why we were still there. To which we responded, waiting on our food orders. Needless to say, customer service is a bit lacking. Live Music: We were pleasantly surprised to hear live music during our wait. It gave the location "Peach Pit" vibes circa 90210. Overall: It's cute, with a small town flair. If you're in the area and hankering for some coffee, it's definitely worth a visit. Just be sure to steer clear of the tables if you're not ready to dine in. (I'll get over it, but it warrants a mention 😉)

I’ve had a wonderful experience at this café! Huge shout out to Mallory (I hope I spelled it correctly!) who was so professional, kind, and got me to try matcha for the first time per her recommendation (it’s absolutely delicious). Cozy and friendly atmosphere with tasty food and drink, definitely a place I’ll revisit more than once.

The atmosphere was quite energetic as we waited to have a table ready.. It did take some time for the waitress to take our order and bring our drinks, the food was fresh and delicious, portions were hearty and filling, no complaints on that.. Would of liked a refill mid meal on my coffee, however the restaurant had only one waitress, will definitely stop again and try different menu items!!

Yesterday was my first time in Buzz Café, and I'm glad I stopped by! I had the special (spicy 'jam' burger with cheese) with the side salad, and coffee to drink. The food was excellent, and the prices were fair. They were understaffed, though, and for a while our server had nearly every table in the place. Had to remind her about our water, coffee, cleaning the table (this was not done prior to our being seated there) etc. a couple of times, but she was pleasant and helpful. A nice 'vibe' to the place, and the desserts looked great! Wonderful location in Oak Park - recommended!

Local breakfast spot with a recent change of ownership. There was live music when we went in on Saturday morning. It was busy but we were able to sit right away. The staff was working and moving quickly. The food was good.
