BUZZ Coffee and Winehouse

Loved the vibe. So peaceful. Unapologetically black. Black Owned spot with great customer service and the food was great. The hot chocolate warmed the depths of my soul! I got it with almond milk! The Spinach and feta cheese Danish and the cherry Danish were yummy. The Breakfast croissants were great too. A must visit.

Buzz is a mellow coffe shop/ wine bar. It opened early, 7am, which makes it a great choice for coffee on the way to work. There is plenty of seating. And it's a bright, colorful interior. There are two bathrooms and lots of games that you can play. Having all those games makes me feel welcome. I got an oat milk latte which was a little heavy on the foam but it was good. And yeah! They have ceramic mugs. I love the taste of a latte in a ceramic mug plus it promotes sustainability. There's plenty of street parking.

This spot popped up on my radar and I just love the concept and location. More importantly my mocha cappuccino was amazing :) I will definitely be coming back to try their other menu options, including the wine cocktails!

This Almond Joy Latte, is everything. OMGAWDDDDDDDDDDD. Very friendly and inviting staff. I felt like I was in an episode of "Cheers" when the regulars greeted other regulars upon entering. This is a cool vibe. My 1st visit but not my last. I love coffee and this is a new hot spot for me. I dined in and felt super safe. Thank youuuuuuu, Buzz Coffee

I saw it when I was riding by to pick up a friend and decided I had to try it. I absolutely love coffee so I never miss out on a chance to try a new coffee shop. I ordered an iced coffee with Pumpkin Spice. The young girl that was working kept insisting that I get a latte. I walked up and said “I’ll probably just get a regular iced coffee” and started looking at the syrup flavors. She asked if I wanted an iced coffee or a latte. I made it clear that I wanted iced coffee. I asked does milk come in the iced coffee (sometimes people have a standard) and she said “see that would be a latte” and proceeded to tell me how a latte is made. I was a barista for literally 5 years. & literally quit earlier this year only due to relocation. I didn’t need a break down on what a latte was when I specifically asked for an iced coffee and wanted a splash of milk. She was nice but I’m not sure what that was about. The coffee definitely lacked flavor. I couldn’t taste Pumpkin Spice at all so I’m not sure what their standard recipe is but it may need to be tweaked little. I added 2 packs of sugar which didn’t do much but did a little something. I also wish they had more alternative sugar options. (Like Stevia in addition to Splenda) Overall, it was such a cute place with a nice environment. It was also reasonably priced but I can’t say that I would return.

The Barista was very accommodating. The veg option for the breakfast croissant wasn't posted, but she offered it when I showed disinterest in what was available. The lavender oatmilk latte was delicious!

Got two different versions of coffee, yet both tasted exactly the same. Not bad but not great, the coffee was strong tho so “buzz” is right, you will definitely get your caffeine fix !

Very cute space. I enjoyed the art work and music. I'm a first timer. I will return soon! The macchiato and spinach Danish were awesome!

My sister was in town and she prefers local shops, so we tried out buzz before a day of shopping. The iced latte I had was AMAZING and large. Really good portion size, and awesome taste. My sister got an iced coffee and the black bean hummus which was delicious!!!! The ambience was homey, familiar, and had nice decor. I definitely will be back. Parking is either in the adjacent lot or street parking, but was also easy.

I had a surprisingly disappointing experience yesterday. Although it was the first to this extent here, I feel its been an on going situation and hope its improved. Firstly, the server behind the counter usually has a very nonchalant disposition, not welcoming at all, or providing any greeting when entering. Yesterday there was very limited tea selection(2 choices) and no breakfast foods or pastries on display. However there were a few bagels, and I opted for a plain bagel with cream cheese along with peppermint tea. I received my peppermint tea, but after 20 minutes, I went back to check on the plain bagel. Shortly after, I was brought a bagel, but it was not what I expected or what I thought I asked for. It was Brown and I wasn't sure.. I immediately advised the server that I ordered a plain bagel to which she responded, "That is the only plain bagel we have" and proceeded to walk away. I asked what kind of bagel it was, and she stated a wheat bagel and walked away. So maybe it's me, but I have always known a plain bagel to be "white"- and all others to be specified by name. I certainly understand, not having the requested item available, but do not understand, taking it upon yourself to make a different item, and bring over as if it is acceptable, and should be accepted it without question. I love this location and that we have this business in our community but I don't want poor service or to be treated as if I should be thankful for anything given.

I really enjoyed my experience at buzz. I was able to park on the street! The menu was cool with a mix of coffee drinks and wine, they say the wine drinking usually happens around noon so I think it would be a great spot to catch up with friends. This time I just tried to drip coffee and did some work at a table! There was ample power, the coffee was great, and 5 star service as well! I look forward to returning!

Cute, cozy coffee shop and wine bar. I went on a Saturday morning with 3 others. There is street parking on the side streets but I did not see any dedicated parking. Not crowded but a stream of customers. This was our 1st time here. They carry Stash teas. I got a mint. Those is my party ordered breakfast sandwiches. The person at the counter shared they were out of some ingredients. They got bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Not sure how the sandwiches were made but definitely not made on a griddle or stove. They offer all the usual coffee presentations and sweenters/Flavors. One of us order a chai that was very flavor full, not just sugary. I will be back to try more than just tea and even consider going there to get some work done.

BUZZ is a lovely addition to the neighborhood. This location has provided a wonderful reprieve from my home desk. The baristas are always friendly, the coffee is great and there is plenty of seating and electrical outlets for those of us that need to work. Someone else has mentioned this as well, but the playlist is top tier and it will keep me coming back!

It's a cute, quaint shop located in the historic Cascade area. Nice employees, clean establishment but what captivated me the most was the playlist! Omg! I didn't even need my AirPods because every song was a hit!

I was staying nearby with family and so I visited everyday of my trip. I got the lavender latte and it was delicious! It's a cute place, feel like it could be a great date place. The people were nice that made my drink. I definitely recommend!

I love it here!!! Every time I come I am welcomed with friendly staff and yummy coffee! They are always willing to be patient while I decide what coffee I want. Also they are always filled with tons of recommendations as well!!

First things first, BUZZ is a great edition to the neighborhood. Bonus points for being locally owned (for us, by us) and more importantly one of the few independent coffee shops in the area. Easily accessible, located walking distance from The Beautiful, JR Crickets, Big Daddy's, and The Spice House on Cascade where it intersects with Beecher, nestled-in close to the corner. There is a bus stop located directly across the street from this location and you can find street-side parking in front most any day. Upon entering, you get a view of the modern coffee house aesthetic and see how this is a great meeting spot to grab coffee in the day or maybe even wine at night. They offer an assortment of pastries, light bites, coffee, tea, and wine. However, I've heard rave reviews about the Turkey and Fontina sandwich in Focaccia and the Lavender Lemonade - which, I'll have to try on my next visit. As of now, I've only had the Hot Chocolate and it was divine. It wasn't overly chocolatey and they were able to customize to my taste adding a pump of vanilla, whipped topping, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Perfecto. The pricing is on par with what you'd expect for this kind of establishment. The staff here is friendly and welcoming, just as you'd hope to find at a neighborhood coffee shop. So, I'll definitely be back!

This is a nice cafe. Came here with some friends for a quick bite/snack. I had the coffee of the day and a spinach pastry. Very good! The artwork is nice in the cafe and the owners are great too. If you're in the neighborhood definitely check it out!

Great costumer service. The only feedback I'd like to give is every time I order a danish of any kind it is very cold internally although they warm it, maybe adding additional time so the inside is warm and not just the outside. Other than that I love the vibe is great, very nice employees and never too crowded so I can get work done . Not much parking but once again it's never to crowded so finding a spot close is never a problem. 9/10, highly recommend

A black owned coffee and WINE shop, yes I said wine. I haven't had wine here yet, just the coffee and boy oh boy did they put their foot into it. The employee helping me was very patient while I figured out what I wanted to get on the menu the first time I went here, I forgot his name. I ended up getting the a Lavender lemonade (you won't regret it) & a Lavender Chai I believe...just trust me and go get both! They have a good amount of seating, FREE wifi & board games.

Love Buzz! This local, black-owned coffee and wine house has it all. Their grilled cheese sandwich is a national treasure that all should experience, and make sure you wash it down with their homemade lavender lemonade (my boyfriend still brings up this lemonade EVERY TIME we talk about Buzz). Do yourself a favor and visit this place, you will not be disappointed. Oh- and check out the local artwork displayed (and for sale) on the walls too!

I was looking for a Black Owned coffee shop and came across Buzz. I stopped by one day on my way to work and there was one other person inside waiting on their order. I walked right up and placed my order. It took a little longer than expected to get my bagel and latte. While waiting on my order, I checked out the atmosphere and it is chill and relaxing. It looks like a nice spot to do work or hang out and enjoy your cafe items.

Lucky for us BUZZ has come into our lives. Walk in and be greeted by a staff that treats you like a person. Not a transaction. They aren't just remembering you by your order - they KNOW you. Ask you how you are. Pick up your conversation from the last time you were in. You don't realize how much this is missing from your mornings until you go elsewhere. Come to work, come to meet, come to just be. BUZZ is invested in the community and is frequently hosting events. It's a good idea to follow them on social media to stay in the know. You will love the coziness and art gallery. You will appreciate the outlets every couple of feet and the free wifi. I tend to start my day there, but a growing number of people also love the wine selection and later hours. This business is cash free. Average ticket is about $2-7 for coffee / refills / savory pastries/ bagels. Enjoy. I'll see you there.

Some of the best coffee. Im/we are booshy w our French press at home along with our expensive expresso machines. This was in my top two of French press coffees and the best mocha we've had.. niice muzic, nice artwork, cool/smooth flow. Siiiidenote. Was gunna give em 4 stars fo the slight attitude because I thought i was sposed to touch the order screen myself. She was cool and it coulda been worse. If rolls were reversed!) anyhoo. FAF!! Met my son there one morning for coffee I truly loved the place. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese to go along with my coffee... there is relaxed chill vibe that I loved... reminds you of a corner bistro...love love loved the place!!!! Have revisited several times now. Just wish it stayed open past four would love to go by after work sit outside have a glass of wine.... "Just a thought to ponder"

Hidden gem. Love the location and the area. Great to work out of. Great latte and pastry. I will say that I have grown to be a sucker for a nice drink presentation which was missing from this place. It was good but it was just "simple" iced latte. But I will be back!!

This is my second time coming to Buzz and I thoroughly enjoy the experience. The coffee is pleasant and the energy and vibe is calm. This environment allows me to start my morning productively.

I've now visited this Cascade Heights coffee (and wine) shop twice, and I love it! I've had drip coffee and a latte- both drinks were delicious. The staff has been very nice and friendly both times, and the space is kept very clean and cozy. It's the perfect place to meet up with a friend, study, or work on your laptop. The shopping strip where this cafe is located looks like it's going to have some new businesses added soon. I'm very excited to see what's going to be added soon, and very happy that this great coffee shop is in the neighborhood.

My husband and I walked over to Buzz Coffee this morning. I'm so happy to have a good coffee house in the neighborhood that isn't Starbucks. The space is calm and inviting with a very chill vibe. Music adds to the ambiance and is a positive element in the space. The service is excellent. They offer a variety of coffee and coffee drinks. They also have an assortment of pastries, soups, and sandwiches. Parking is available in front and on either side of the establishment. I'm looking forward to checking out their events.

Fresh ground beans for your coffee order. Quite possibly the best americano I've had. And to warm up the cream for me? Heavenly!! Hubby got the macchiato and loves it. Happened to chance it and so not disappointed. Thanks BUZZ for a total coffee treat.

BUZZ Is my local spot in my community I am stuck on the Lavender Lemonade these days but definitely would love a monthly coffee and wine subscription club. Now that the parklet has been added I am sure that I will be enjoying the new outdoor seating.

How can you not love BUZZ Coffee & Winehouse. The Baristas know there stuff. I've been a fan for well over a 1 1/2yr. The great art displayed on the wall, the lovely atmosphere, nice clean restroom and awesome breakfast sandwiches. Open at 7am and open 7 days! Grab a cup and sit inside and enjoy some smooth lounging music or sit outside at one of their bistro tables and enjoy SW Atlanta's historical areas. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mr. Tre Perry and he introduced me to nitro coffee. Buzz is definitely a hidden gem and I'm glade I found them.

Such a cute coffee shop! My husband & I stopped by today and it was so pleasant! Friendly staff, cute ambiance, and delicious drinks and pastries! He had a mocha coffee and I had a vanilla lavender chai tea latte with oat milk! He had a danish and I had a mini Bundt cake. We will definitely be back many times over. Wanted to stop by this place a few times before I wrote my review. The soft and grand openings were nice but I wanted to go on a regular day to see if they kept up the good food and service. I'm glad to say that they have. I've always been a fan of the good independent coffee shop. With Starbucks trying to take control of everything I'm always glad to support the little guy. While this is a coffee shop it is more of a movement. With coffee, wine, music and good vibes. I have to admit the coffee is good but I like the Hibiscus Tea more. There are always people drinking, talking and listening to the good music playing. Now that I'm looking on their website I see they have a Nitro Draft, I'll have to come back and try that.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed BUZZ yet! This has been my new favorite coffee spot since they opened this past spring/summer! And I love the fact that a local from the neighborhood opened this spot (shout out to Tre and the staff!). So when we saw the announcement on Yelp of new spots in the neighborhood, my wife and I decided to check this place out and see what the BUZZ was all about (...see what I did there?). Glad we did. Now we walk here on a lazy weekend for a morning bite, or pop in for a wine-down afternoon/evening on a date night or a community meetup. I've even had some quick business meetings over coffee, or posted up at the counter to get some work done. The coffee is great, the wine and wine cocktails are great, the staff is great, and the light bites are great! 'Nuff said. I really hope that this place sticks around. I haven't been to the Starbucks down the road in months since this place opened. I really like the fact that BUZZ is also a good community partner by hosting community events and supporting some of the other business owners and talent in the area by hosting various events that allow community residents to be exposed to some of the other hidden gems in our neighborhood. When I have visitors in my home, I always refer them to BUZZ for a light bite or drink. They make me proud to support local/homegrown! Way to go BUZZ! Keep cranking out the good stuff!

The young lady who works there was very friendly the first time I visited. But ever since the 3 times I've returned she's been extremely curt and terse. She didn't remember that I patronize the place and that's ok. But the only words that you utter to me ( without a smile) I might add are we close at 4 pm. I won't be returning because I want to feel relaxed when I get a short break during the day and I don't want to feel like I'm interrupting your break as an alleged barista. Highly disappointed as I just moved in the area.

I could come here for all my relaxation/working entrepreneur days. Great simple menu, great coffee, YES for alcohol . The music is what really set the vibes for me. I headed here for a late night meeting with my business partner and wished I would have set the meeting for earlier because arriving at 8 when they close at 9 was sad when we had to leave. I parked on the side of the bldg on the street. It was dark so I'm not sure where else there is parking or if they have a lot close by within walking distance. But go! Try it! Get some coffee and soup and relax with your laptop or just enjoy listening to some nice soulful music. Can't wait to return! Also, A+++ for customer service .

You Must try this gem in SW Atlanta. Great place to relax with a glass of wine. I received Excellent quick service. The Chia Latte with a shot of vanilla is my favorite drink so far.

This is an excellent spot to sit down with some good coffee or wine and get some work done. The seating configuration right now is a long line of individual tables--groups would need to scoot a few tables together. (Just a suggestion--it might be good for the shop to diversify the kinds of seating available by a little bit.) As it is right now, this is a great environment for doing work, with a clean and modern aesthetic, good lighting, and beautiful art on the walls.

I LOVE coffee and am a bit of a coffee snob. This coffee is delicious. Brewed perfectly. I added a bit of steamed almond milk only - perfect. The service is professional and welcoming. The ambiance is peaceful. Love this place. Absolutely worth the stop!

BUZZ found its way into the perfect neighborhood. Great food, coffee, selection of Tea and it's hospitality. This Cascade Neighborhood has plenty of highly successful people. Wealthy, middle class neighborhoods surrounding. Don't judge a book by its cover. This is a very historical area. Loads of intellectual people. This neighborhood is going through a great change. Buzz is apart of that change. The SW Atlanta, is known for its southern charm, loads of nature, golf courses near by, Adams Park, and now BUZZ we are excited to see this community continue to grow. This coffee shop took a gamble and they are winning for it. Bottom line support the small businesses. It's important to shower love on those who bless this community. It's a classy stop for studying, business meetups, great WiFi, great service and I'm so proud of this amazing place.

Had a light lunch at buzz coffee. My veggies sandwich was delish. The owner and person who took our order were very nice and helpful. The coffee shop has a gallery with really beautiful photos on the wall. We sat outside, but the inside has a long bench and space to sit down at.

Nice place. Clean minimalist design. Not a stack of old NYT in sight. No grunge. Excellent addition to a very nice historically Black middle class neighborhood. I am definitely cafe society and have been to almost all the great coffee cafes in Atlanta. Buzz has some growing in to do. Well worth a visit tho. See for yourself. One thing: the turkey avocado sandwhich with fontina is glorious but my latte had to be warmed twice. Hmmmmm. Buzz be a coffee cafe not a sandwhich shop!

I almost don't want to tell you about this place so I can keep it my little secret. But truth be told, this place is awesome and perfect to get some work done. Great chilled vibe. Coffee and lattes great.. This place is new but is going to do very well.

Met a friend for coffee at Buzz today. Great coffee and WiFi. Open til 9pm serving coffee, pastries, sandwiches and wine. There's some interesting takes on cocktail concoctions made with sherry- makes me curious ...plus a light but enough food menu. And, yes, there's WiFi. When I'm meeting someone in The West End this will be my place of choice. I predict it won't be long before people are having to wait for tables.

What a great place for a quick meeting, a bite eat and glass of wine or cup of coffee. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the food is tasty. I had the kale and pear salad and the portion was quite generous. This is definitely on my list for quick staff meetings and a light lunch. Over Good Customer Experience

I absolutely love this place. I spoke with the owner not too long ago and really loved his commitment to community development. The coffee brand is extremely tasty (I normally get a simple latte - awesome baristas!). In addition, the atmosphere is great. There's definitely a modern feeling that you get when you walk in, and the artwork is great. They serve really great wines as well. This place is worth stopping by!! Definitely plan on becoming a regular at this location.

Buzz is excellent. Great decor, great coffee. Laid back, relaxing atmosphere with nice music that isn't too loud or distracting if you're working on your computer or having a conversation. Very friendly staff. The bathroom was clean. This is a quality establishment which I will be frequently visiting.

Finally a coffee shop in my neighborhood that feels like "home". The owner is great, the shop itself is a wonderful atmosphere and of course, I love that it's black owned!
