"Buzzbrew’s is one of DFW’s few late-night diners, open until 2 a.m. most weekend nights and late all week at its Deep Ellum location. It serves local coffee and foods made from scratch — and offers free Wi-Fi. Try any of its numerous beers on tap, a mimosa, or the French toast and Impossible burgers it’s well known for." - Courtney E. Smith

This place checks all the boxes, unique, upbeat, cool vibe, creative and diverse menu. Perfect place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Every plate is perfect with visual and culinary presentation. The staff, wait people are friendly and actually seem to be enjoying their self. The Robot food server was freaking awesome, unexpected, and show worthy. I know whenever we're on that side of town we're going to drop in. Looks like a good place to just catch a buzz.

We were regular to the Buzz Brews on Lemmon Ave few years back. We were in the dallas downtown area and were disappointed to learn the lemmon ave location was closed and decided to try the one in deep ellum, which is temporarily closed for renovation. This location did not disappoint and was worth driving around. It has good ambiance, the bar area has rustic ambiance. They have robo serving food to some of the tables We were promptly seated. We ordered Mr. Buzz, Amigas with Veg Sausage, Queso Si and Grilled Cheese with fries for kids. All of them tasted amazing and fresh. Kids loved the food as well. At this location waitress has to bring coffee which was different than the other location. My wife was little disappointed that they removed Veggie Veggie from the menu. Will definitely go back if I am in area

Google
TL;DR Slow service and dirty glassware brought to the table. I went to BuzzBrews with a group of friends for brunch on a Tuesday. There were a few tables when we entered but everyone seemed to be finishing up or finished. We were told a few times that they needed another minutes before coming to our table to take our order, and in the end we probably waited 15 minutes before getting our order taken. Throughout the entire experience we had very slow service, including not refilling water. The Mrs. Buzz should be passed, it was bland and lacked seasoning and flavor. The French Connection Crepe was okay but overall it just wasn’t for me, but it was not bad or horrible. The cleanliness and attention to detail of the place was a huge bother for us. We were seated at a window that had a decaying potted plant that was giving off an unpleasant smell. It was a bother for myself and another friend who was sitting the closest to the plant, obviously no one wants to smell rot while eating. Another friend received a cup of coffee that still had lip stick along the rim of the cup and food caked onto the side of it. When we brought it to the attention of a waitress we were told they couldn’t remake that drink anymore so they picked a different drink to make. There was no further acknowledgment or apology about the dirty glassware or their inability to serve her the same drink she originally wanted. When my friend brought up getting charged for a drink she didn’t receive, the only solution was to take the cheapest item (25¢) off the bill.

Google
First time going here and it was excellent all around. There were twelve of us and the costumer service was wonderful. A very warm and inviting environment plus the food was delicious! Plus they have a little robot waiter that delivers the food to the table. I will definitely be back

Google
Great place to go to eat. Great atmosphere. Waitress was help and nice. A lot of choices! Stuffed Crepes with smoked Turkey, portobello mushrooms, spinach Monterey jack & Feta cheese. Topped with Poblano sauce and sliced avocado. So good

Came to this location and it was okay. The parking was tight if you have a larger vehicle. The wait staff we had was just okay, she took a long time to just come to the table to get a drink order and then disappeared for another 10 mins. Once we ordered, unfortunately she was not as attentive afterwards because we had to search and flag her down every time we needed her. The food we had was good, the scrambled eggs though were not from cracked eggs they seemed like they were the liquid eggs. The bacon was cooked like I like and the pancakes were great. The potatoes were not cooked through and although they had some kind of seasoning they were quite bland. My hubby had the French toast and he stated they tasted good but he quickly was not feeling good because of the chemical smell of whatever they use to clean the tables or floors so he had to rush to the bathroom. He couldn't even take a second bite. So a suggestion to the restaurant is to possibly get something less toxic or odorless if that's a thing.

Google
It’s delicious but really loud lol. I loved my crepe: mushrooms, cheese, peppers… 🤤 I got a fruit mix too and the coffee was really good and they actually have a club for it which I love. The waiter was nice and they have a robot that takes the food, pretty cool. They got outside tables. It’s perfect.

Google
Good place with alright food, good drinks (note: they can make a fresh juice out of pretty much any fruit they have), I tried the steak and it was a little bit more cooked than I anticipated but otherwise good.

Yelp
Great place to stop if you are wanting breakfast/brunch/lunch! We went on a Saturday around lunch time and we seemed to be getting there near the end of the rush. Our server was great and friendly. One of our meals came out about 10-15 minutes after everyone else's which was a little annoying. The food was good minus the hash brews that were cooked in way too much oil. Vegan menu with about 5 options was a nice addition!

Yelp
This used to be among our favorites for breakfast. We had not been for about a year due to COVID but went for breakfast in January 2022. We were surprised at how empty the restaurant was at 9:30 on a Sunday. Before, it would be packed. Unfortunately, the reason has to be that the food has really gone downhill. Prices have gone up, food preparation has deteriorated. The pancakes used to be light and fluffy; this time the wife's were dense and flavorless. She loves pancakes but could not eat them. 2 stars. My French Connection was good and brings the rating up to 3 stars. Service was good. Not sure if we will return. The wife said no more.

Yelp
I took my parents here on a rainy day because there's good parking and you don't have to wait long. The food was delicious. I loved the hangover soup on the cold rainy day. The portions were large and service was kind. Buzz brews is always a great place for good food

Daysi M.

Yelp
Regular Buzzbrews client. My husband and I found this place around COVID time and have been going ever since. Breakfast os our time to go, I have never been after 12. Food is good not great but it's calming at 8am when there's no crowd and the coffees are good & what keeps us coming back is the vegetarian quesadillas and the vegan bowl

Kyle M.

Yelp
Food was lukewarm. Crepes were disgusting. Salsa tasted like it came from a jar. They have a coffee bar which is nice, however the brews are a bit bland Save yourself the trouble and get breakfast elsewhere

Sam B.

Yelp
I like this location because it has a Classical Open Mic event every Tuesday evening. The food is pretty good all day & night brunch-style food but, as seems to be the case with most service industry places since the pandemic, the service can be hit-or-miss. Just be patient and try checking out the back bar area on a Tuesday evening.

Yelp
Been here once before about a year ago. Everything was -ok. It's a place with huge potential in a nice area. It's a poorly run establishment, there is no nice way to say it. Young kids serving with little or no help. My meal took over 30mins to come out and there were only 4 - 2tops AND 2 of those tables came in after I ordered and got their meals before me. My meal was essentially, just reheated, put some cheese on top. It's a 5-7min top process. Didn't ask for the manager cuz I didn't want a free meal or escalate it further. I feel this was an isolated incident but I'm betting something like this happens every few days. It comes down to management.

Stacey S.

Yelp
BuzzBrews is a no-frills, get down to business diner that definitely will fill you up, whether you're preparing yourself for a day exploring, or curing a hangover. Now, I've only been here a few times but I can attest to nothing but quit service and food. My first visit I had the Harry Krishna - a take on a Greek omelet of sorts. The second I had a classic bowl of oatmeal with honey and fruit (I had to run for a flight). Both meals were fresh, hearty (Texas you really know how to serve some big meals!), and well-priced considering. My first visit there was a coffee drink I wanted (I think it was a caramel one? They didn't have the mix in, but it was understandable. The regular coffee is still good and heaps better than any Starbucks burnt brew. ;)

Yelp
I used to love coming here. In the past year, my roommate has come twice, never to be served, spoken to or waited on. The last time I ordered online for curbside, & yes, it was offered as a service online, I was told that 1) They didn't have the order. 2) When they received it, they couldn't bring it out curbside. They weren't busy at all or else I could understand.

Olivia U.

Yelp
Seating time was as expected for a Sunday brunch time. However, server was very attentive. I haven't been in a very long time and didn't realize the limited coffee options at the self serve bar and it was vague as to which you could serve yourself. For us ambience was lacking therefore the rating.

Henry H.

Yelp
Are you kidding me. We came here and the food? Absolutely amazing. My friend was licking her fingers and she's an amputee. The drinks? Insane. I kept ordering skinny mojito margaritas and I'm not even watching my weight. 10/10. Come here. The owner talked to us and yupp, Mr. buzz brews is as cool as he sounds.

Kara G.

Yelp
This place is perfect. 24 hours, somewhat dive-y, our food was delicious and our server was super sweet! They apologized for the wait, which was not long at all, and despite the restaurant filling up the staff of 2-3 handled the rush so well! I ordered an espresso drink (a bit annoying of me since it was so busy) and a mimosa with my meal, and they were definitely made with love. I am somewhat of a coffee snob, and actually really impressed with the espresso! They have kombucha on tap, too, which made my husband really happy. My kids, picky AF, asked to go back every day that we were in Dallas.

Yelp
Went again and got the same nachos but this time the nachos were perfect!!!! Highly recommend

Yelp
So very conflicted review. After sitting around for 45 minutes waiting for food, having to get up to get menus, watching food come out on a robot and sit for several minutes getting cold I was ready to write this place off with a 1 star review. Then the food came and was great. So 1star for competence and mass choas and 5/ star for food averages out to a 3 star rating. Whoever came up with the idea of robots delivering food need to spend a morning watching how it actually works lol. Lots of cold food getting delivered. Our server (Xavier ) was great. We had to get up and ask him for menus and after that he adopted us and made sure we had coffee and hand delivered the food. So Xavier and the cook redeemed the place. Not sure I'll Be back though. To be fair. It was a holiday 10:00 am and a server called in sick. But I just couldn't get over the sight of food sitting on the robot getting cold! And for the record this place is hardly a bargain. Egg sandwich $13. Not crazy expensive but pancakes bacon and coffee for two will set you back $45 with tip . All in all very good food but turned out to be a 90 minute breakfast. Lol

Manuel C.

Yelp
I used to love their original location much more than this one... But for some reason the manager they have at the Original location, is a complete ass! Their coffee selection here is better than most! And their customer service is also very good! Great anytime we have a party of 5+ They can accommodate larger parties!

Donny D.

Yelp
Apparently the best part about buzzbrews, being open 24hrs, no longer exists!!! Despite their neon OPEN lights being on. Y'all, it's what set you apart. Lame.

Liv C.

Yelp
Took too long for our server to get me a drink so the kid running the pass had to take me. Seemed way too young to be serving. Average food, just disappointed in the server who was supposed to take us. The kid who took my order looked 15 at most.

Yelp
We came on Monday, January 16, 2023. We come pretty regularly and drive in about 30 minutes because we have always gotten great service and love the food. Today was a starkly different experience. The service was lukewarm at best. We sat for around 15 minutes before our waitress came to our table. She was not kind or friendly. We ordered water and coffee. We got the coffee but did not get any water. She didn't come back to the table for another 15 minutes or so. We went to the coffee bar which is not self service because we were out of coffee. We politely asked for a refill and was met attitude. We felt like a burden being there and found ourselves apologizing for some reason. Our food finally came lukewarm. Our waitress was not nice or welcoming in any way. We flagged down another waitress when we finished eating because we wanted to pay and leave as we felt unwelcome and a burden at the establishment. It was obvious she didn't care about our experience. Barely squeaking out a "sorry." It's really unfortunate because we loved coming to this spot but it was so bad that we are totally turned off by this place now. Both of us have worked in restaurants and customer service so we are very understanding about being short handed. But we do expect to be treated kindly as we are spending hard earned money. I doubt we will be coming back any time soon at all. Truly disappointed.

Yelp
Wow if I could give negative stars I would! Don't eat the food. This place should be shut down. I was there last night. In addition to being overpriced the food was terrible. The fries are not cut from potatoes but some kind of reconstituted potato powder. I ordered a burger medium rare and it came out well done. Big mistake, I sent it back and asked for medium rare. Spent all night with diarrhea, shaking, vomiting in a cold sweat! I still haven't recovered! Will never eat there again! Plus, the service was really poor, a couple girls that looked about 16 with obviously no training or experience waiting tables. TERRIBLE

Yelp
"Best food I've ever had!" - John, age 6 Great breakfast spot, perfect spot to take kids on a weekend.

Haide V.

Yelp
I've never experienced racism until I came here. I brought my family of 5 and the old red head lady sitting people down sat down about 6 families that got there after us.Not to mention we were not greeted the same way as everyone else. There were so many tables empty. She could have offered a toddler chair for my daughter and sat us 4 down. She said there was nothing available for a party of 5 but she sat down someone in a spot where we could fit and I told her and she stayed quiet. How big is a petite 5 year old? If you're Hispanic don't go here. We told her about it and she laughed and told us to look at her shirt like she was stupid saying she loved all people. Never again and I will make sure people don't go here. If I can bring this up higher I will.

Yelp
Oh, I'm old. I remember when this place was the Tipperary Inn and I'd come to hear local musicians sing sea shanties. Well, the Tip is no more, but Buzzbrews Kitchen is in its place (they retained the amazing old bar, though!) This was a great choice for brunch on a Saturday. We waited only a handful of minutes before being seated, and perused the extensive menu. I finally chose the Stuff your own crepes, with button mushrooms, red onion, bacon and mozzarella cheese with poblano cream sauce. Delicious, and it came with griddled bread (crispy toast) and an impressive fruit cup (not just your standard melon chunks, but also strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and a slice of orange on top). My friend had the Californication, which paired an array of veggies with egg whites. Staff looked like people who would have been working at Whole Foods 20 years ago. Our waiter needed some reminders on things that we needed. Overall, I would return to Buzzbrews for another great meal!

Reggie D.

Yelp
Trash!!! Drinks weak, food was very bland, wings are breaded, the bartender was not cool at all!!

David G.

Yelp
This post is more to let the manager know what we see. Cecilia A was fantastic. Definitely get her as your server. The little skinny tall girl blabbing to the host in the pink needs to actually work. Cecilia and the manager were running all of the food taking care of everyone and the host and the lazy girl looked like they were in lala land. Hate seeing people not bring team players. Food was good. If you get Cecilia you will have good service. Not sure how the service could be good for the other girls tables when she litterally never left upfront...

Chato H.

Yelp
My first time trying this place and it was an absolute disappointment. We sat in the bar area for a free show they had going . It took about 15 minutes before we could put in our drink order. Took about another 15 to put in our food order. There were not very many people there either. When we finally got our food out they did not put the bacon on the burgers, by the time he brought out the bacon we were pretty much finished eating. And this server still charged for the bacon . The burgers and fries were extremely bland . I will not give the place another shot!!!!!

Jackie K.

Yelp
Just came to this location for the first time-my sister and I wanted to try it out and when we walked in the restaurant only had one other table seated. There was a sign that said "please wait to be seated" but we looked around and there was no one and we're carrying a carseat and a baby bag so we decided to sit down just sit to the atmosphere we felt it was appropriate, the sever came over a few minutes later and then made comments to us. Made us feel uncomfortable stating he's never been to a restaurant that people seat themselves. My sister tried to bring it back light hearted saying she's seen plenty and he just continued staying he's never done it before. We just left-the place was empty so maybe saved us from a bad lunch. I'm rating it a 3 purely on service because I can't rate it off the food.

Yelp
Amazing brunch here today. Loved our crepes. I had the coffee bar and enjoyed both the banana fosters coffeee and pumpkin spice. Just wish you had almond milk and stevia . Great banana walnut pancakes. Wonderful spicy Bloody Mary Just need to update your website- it advertises Bloody Mary bar that is no longer offered here. 3/2/19 Amazing fast service, great French Connection Crepes and chocolate raspberry coffee. If you need soy milk, just ask because they have it behind the coffee bar. Still wish you had stevia. Great service and clean bathrooms. But your hand soap smells terrible and the chemical odor of this awful perfumed soap lingers. But overall wonderful dining experience Thank you so very much! Highly recommend this place!!!

Lisa H.

Yelp
Really awesome place! I went in the middle of the afternoon. Had great service. Super cute location. I had stuff your own crepes and they were great! Thanks Buzzbrews

Bora H.

Yelp
This was our First (and LAST) time we went there, when we arrived, it took 15 minutes (with only 3 tables busy) to noticed us. After they took our order, it took 40 minutes before we received our order, THAT IS NO ACCEPTABLE!! the two female waitresses did not knowledge us, and they look mad and angry all the time. a guy next to us waited over 50 minutes to get his order. the food was alright, I guess, after waiting for 40 minutes while you are starving, everything tastes good. It is sad and we are definitely NOT going back.

Ursula W.

Yelp
I recently frequented your Lakewood location and am beyond disappointed in the service received.  First, per my request, the hostess sat me at a table outside. And I just sat. No one greeted me. In fact the waitress serviced the table next to me and walked pass me when done. Didn't ask if I had been helped or that she will be right back. Nothing. I then sat some more. I finally flagged a waitress down to take me order. Then I waited and waited for my order to only come out wrong. I ask for the veggie sausage with my poblano crepes and was given chicken. That is an egregious mistake. I was beyond frustrated at this point and asked to speak to the manager.  The manager came to my table, took my plate and didn't even apologize for the delay or mistake with my order. I told him i wanted the check for my coffee. He NEVER said don't worry about it, it's on the house. Nothing.  So I just sat again waiting on my check. Finally the waitress came out and told me the the coffee was on the house.  I live in the neighborhood and have previously frequented this location. To say I'm beyond disappointed is a underestimate. And for the manager to not even apologize? Your food is not that great to compensate for the horrible service. Pick a struggle.

Jaye H.

Yelp
This is the coolest spot ever! They have the best breakfast-my choice is Simon Sez. And the coconut lime soda is great.

Ms. Tea V.

Yelp
I will start by saying that I have visited this establishment several times in years past, and was always extremely satisfied, however after last Friday's visit I will never visit again. Obviously, there has been a change in ownership, the menu and the staff. I knew when pulling up on Friday afternoon without a crowd of people inside and out something was wrong... I should have followed my first thought and turn around. There were some noticeable changes, usually there is a greeter willing to seat you, not this time the restaurant was totally empty including the bar!!! I decided to go ahead and order and boy I was disappointed. I ordered french toast, bacon, and hash-browns with coffee just to be safe. I have had better breakfast at the 7-11 corner store. The best part of the meal was the bacon and coffee...and by the way what happened to the wonderful coffee bar??? I was charged $3.50 for 2 Walmart triangle hash browns the entire meal was $24.00 what a waste...NEVER AGAIN...the best lesson is a bought lesson!!!

Grace J.

Yelp
There is only one reason to visit this restaurant. The Harry Krishna. Get it crepe style, get it with egg whites, just get it. But this delicious meal comes with a side of HORRIBLE SERVICE. So, if you've got tons of time on your hands and the patience of Job (or Harry), stop in.

Kristine L.

Yelp
We came here Saturday for brunch and it was good! The menu is huge and you definitely have a lot of items to choose from. The different variety of coffee is what we love about this place. I think we may have over done it on the caffeine from trying all the flavors... but the peanut butter coffee was the winner! I got the Hippie Miss Piggie which you get to chose between a tortilla/breakfast taco style or omelette. I chose the omelette for a "healthier" meal. The braised pork was very flavorful and they give you a generous amount. Definitely had to take half of this meal home! He got the Egg sandwich and was a big meal and one that is difficult to finish in one sitting. The sourdough bread is wonderfully toasted and imo makes the entire sandwich! 2 fried eggs and generous cuts of crispy thick bacon and tomatoes are covered by American cheese making this the perfect hangover dish for the ppl that had a few too many the night before. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the Egg Sandwich will always be a go-to!

Regina Fraga A.

Yelp
The waitresses here are rude and cater to men. I was trying to place an order to go and stood at the counter and watched 5 waitresses walk by me (with nothing in their hands) and they were checking on all men around me. I literally had to slam my hand on the counter and tell one of the girls to quit ignoring me and please take my order. I mean what the heck! I'm not some small girl they couldn't see and I was literally wearing an electric blue shirt! So it isn't like they didn't see me. Horrible customer service and to think I'm Hispanic and they are all Hispanic too treating their own race this way! Unacceptable!

James N.

Yelp
Me and my GF are new to the area and stopped into Buzzbrews for a drink. Gotta say the service was quite refreshing and Gabby looked after us really well. We were made to feel right at home and she even whipped us up a special strawberry mojito which was amazing. Place is under new management and has a fun homely atmosphere.

Drew C.

Yelp
My gf and I had a bit of a tradition heading here for weekend brunch. Unfortunately it seems the management of the place has gone way downhill. Last weekend we arrived and requested a table outside, and we were sat. There was no one else sitting outside and only a few tables being used inside. At least ten minutes went by and no one came outside. I went in and asked the same girl who sat us if they could get someone for our table. She bizarrely asked if we were waiting for a to-go order. I said no, you sat us at a table outside and we'd like to place a dine-in order. She mumbled something and turned around to head to the kitchen area, and I assumed someone would be by shortly. Another 10+ minutes pass and no one has come outside. Normally I'd be gone already, but the gf has a longer fuse than me. She then went inside and told someone else about our problem. He was apparently a busser, but he apologized, brought us some waters, and said he'd get someone. Another 7-10 minutes pass, no one comes out to take our order, and we leave. I'll reiterate that it was not busy and they didn't appear to be short staffed. Because we have been coming here so long, we decided to give them another shot for brunch this weekend. We tried sitting outside again, but this time they warned us that there was only one server for the 4 or so tables on the patio (all but one of which were occupied). They offered us the open table but basically warned us that we'd be getting slow service. Not what we needed to hear this time, to say the least. So long, BuzzBrews.

Alice h.

Yelp
Good food but coffee wasn't that good. I guess they need more staff because the service was poor. We sat outside and the restaurant is not set up for easy in/out to/from the kitchen. So eat here but don't sit outside. Also if you want your coffee cup filled, you will be disappointed.

Yelp
My son and daughter-in-law had visited this diner on a trip to Dallas a few months ago. When we all found ourselves in Dallas on Father's Day, they suggested we go for brunch. Thanks to COVID-19, we had to mask up for entry but we're able to remove the masks once we got to the table. Tables seemed well spaced for the pandemic. Service was prompt. Since the pandemic has them using disposable menus, the coffee drinks weren't listed. My daughter-in-law remembered a double chocolate mocha latte and we ordered those. It was good, though better for the chocolate lover than the coffee fan, as it was weighted to the former. We were in the mood for breakfast. I had the amigas, scrambled eggs with cheese, flour tortillas, peppers, and veggie sausage. The taste was very good and filling. They also have a chorizo version but, while I love chorizo, my stomach doesn't always handle it well. My wife and daughter-in-law had griddle toast, which is Buzzbrews version of French toast. Both were very pleased. My son had another egg dish that I think was called "The Mr. C" and pronounced it great. The place is nothing fancy, but the food is as good, the portions more than adequate, and the coffee was hot. They're open 24/7, I believe, so it's convenient whenever you're hungry.

Trisha A.

Yelp
Too bad 0 stars isn't an option. Never have I been ignored by an entire staff. I sat for more than 10 minutes with my menu down and not a single person came to my table to wait on me much less ask what I was drinking. I guess having 1 menu wasn't indication enough that I wasn't waiting on anyone nor the fact that I was not staring at the menu trying to decide since I had already decided 2 minutes into my wait. Even better to see folks seated after me getting service. I won't be back. Thanks.

Luis O.

Yelp
This place has great food and drinks! I like their happy hour specials (a rarity in the area). I like to come here after the bar on weekends too becaUse they are 24/7 Friday and Saturday. Food is always tasty and some months ago I bought a slice of Carrot Cake that was to die for!

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Talk about amazing griddle toast! So happy we stopped here and ordered from the breakfast menu. I ordered the pit grill breakfast and was not disappointed. We didn't have to wait long for service or food. The place also wasn't crowded and was rather quiet. They had football on, which I was a big fan of so I didn't miss the game. Really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. As for my meal I couldn't get enough of the homemade griddle toast. The flavors were well balanced and the portion was huge. On top of the toast my plate also came with eggs and a meat. I chose the veggie sausage and was pleasantly surprised with it. The veggie sausage patties were tasty and not far off from regular sausage patties! Eggs were also good and again it was a lot of food with a reasonable price. Would recommend stopping by and trying the homemade griddle toast any morning!

Yelp
How have I never been to this place? Well probably because I'm not usually deep within the borders of Dallas... but, AWESOME breakfast! Everything was so fresh. The setting was very quirky, lots of colors, artwork by local artists (I'm assuming), and two bars. I had the most darling waitress, I didn't catch her name.. but she had a cute yellow crochet headband.. anywhoos.. I ordered the Californication, it was a crepe stuffed with spinach, musrooms, onions, all of that healthy stuff. I loved mine, very flavorful, especially since it didn't have any meat. My friend ordered the Amigas.. he said he didn't like it because it had corn chips.. which is what the menu described, I think he was looking for more of an "authentic" amigas. Also had 6 mimosas, our total bill was about $51, which isn't bad! I can't wait to come back, this place is open 24 hours! Who does't like breakfast food at night?

Yelp
I cannot stand this concept. The weird and wacky is great and all but not really though. It's just waay too crazy for me. And gross. And disgusting. The coffee self-service station had like 5 different coffee flavors all of which were not good at all. Firecracker Fudge is not what you want in a drink. It was way to spicy and tasted yuck. The quesadilla that I ordered tasted just fine and the chicken was truly very flavorful. But the potatoes were bland despite the pile of seasonings smeared on top. I'm not saying this place was bad. But it was a lot of koooky ambience and a really confusing menu. I needed a groovy translator to understand it. Just too much funky' going on that I couldn't even enjoy it.

Yelp
Just got off. On my way home. Hungry. Decided to stop by buzzbrews. Lucky me. They had some sort of 'Closet Sale' going on. HOW FUN. There were multiple tables with businesses that all seemed to local, selling their products and services. I snagged a couple organic soaps, organic essence for home, & home made essential oils. AND a massage!! All coming from the array of options. BEST NEWS. $3 mimosas!!! I didn't catch the bartenders name but he was awesome!

Yelp
I finally gave this Buzz Brews another chance after a series of unfortunate brunches and poor service.... aaaannndddd....... IT WAS JUST AS BAD! Came at 9:15 on a Friday morning, place was not busy at all. I brought my dog so I could sit outside, work, and enjoy the weather. Went inside to get a menu and a server. Host let me pick my table, told me coffee was self serve and said he would bring me a water. I checked out the menu, figured out what I wanted and waited..... and waited.... and waited.... and waited... No water, no server, no anything. 15 minutes go by so I decide to pop inside and see if I need to come in to order (which I know I don't, but I thought it might be easier than waiting). They said someone would be right out. I waited and waited... 5 minutes later I decided to just leave. As I was packing up and leaving, a server came out and asked, "just one"? They hadn't told her I had been waiting or was ready to order. I know this place can be pretty good, especially since they are open 24 hours a day, but the service here is AWFUL! I understand slow service at a packed restaurant (I've been a server), but this BB is consistently slow, inattentive, and mediocre food. I'll stick to the Lemmon location when I'm desperate at 3am.

Yelp
First time in and had a party of 7. Jillian treated us like VIPs. Food was outstanding and nothing could be improved. My group was not an easy bunch to handle and Jillian made it seem easy. The place was beyond beautiful with art work that fits right in with the limestone and art deco exterior. The bar area is magnificent! The bar looks like one of the very finest Irish pubs, but with room to handle large groups. I can see this place being the place to go for drinks or food. Lakewood has a gem in the making with this new location.

Yelp
Food was Great! Delicious coffee. The only thing is the guy in the chef coat and his stupid bell. He bangs on it and yells for Runners, EVEN THOUGH THERES STAFF right in front of him grabbing plates. It's so annoying to hear that bell all through brunch. If people were standing around I get it, but this guy is just too bell happy.

Yelp
The food here has always been excellent. About 2 years ago the service had deteriorated, and was quite bad. A new manager came in and now the servers are very attentive and friendly. Great selection of beer (not as extensive as before COVID, alas). Very tasty burgers, with nice option of grilled veggies instead of starch as a side. Good omelets and crepes. My favorite thing? The several excellent steak and eggs options. A great and all too rare late-night option.
