Awesome food and service! I loved the chicken platter – it was a huge portion, perfect for sharing with a group or as a main dish for two. The photos do it a disservice; it was 3 pieces of chicken per chicken type. The Pani Puri was crunchy and tasty, and so was the garlic naan. My favorite dessert, Ras Malai, had perfect sweetness, perfect to end the meal after the chicken. Great experience, hope to do it again soon!

Food was pretty good but service was HELL SLOW Also no appropriate lighting it was kind off very dark When we went up stairs they switched the light on and other area was totally dark. It didn’t feel good. It’s rated Michelin so they should take care of certain things Food was pretty good, with platter they were ready to make some accommodations that we requested which was very good. They definitely need to improve on service

Had an awesome first time at Aanch with our server Kenil! He was able to deliver excellent service, being so attentive and polite while giving us the best recommendations for the menu. Food was fresh, comforting and very well crafted. We will definitely come back for the food and service!

I wish I had taken photos of my food from my last visit there this year but I'll have to use the ones I got the year before that made me come back. I travel all over north America for work and as colleagues and I were walking down the street, this place caught my eye so i stopped everyone to check it out. We were all very impressed with the food, we ordered a lunch menu type platter and everything on there was delicious. So much so we came back again this year with many more colleagues in tow. Nothing was left on that table once we left. Everything finished down to last grain of rice.

The food was absolutely amazing—hands down the best Indian food I’ve had since coming to Canada 8 months ago. Every dish reminded me of the vibrant, upbeat restaurants of Bombay. A special mention to Shree, who provided great service and made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Skeptical at first, but finally went inside. Asked for a menu for take out and settled with tandoori chicken and a garlic naan. Took it back to my hotel and the aroma was incredible i started nibbling on the naan.. let's just say it was all so incredible! Delicious and packed with flavor, spicy but nothing crazy! The naan omgosh. Anyways I will order again and will try something new... oh the service was great. 5 started for sure. We started talking and told him we stay at the hotel and the bill came he skipped the tip option on the pay pad! Didn't have to do that... I will tip next time generously.

I visited the cozy little restaurant Aanch today and was really impressed! 🍴 The chicken was delicious — we asked for a non-spicy dish, and the chef made it perfectly. The shrimp was also very tasty! The atmosphere is pleasant, the music is great, and it’s a lovely spot to spend time. Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy a relaxed place with delicious Indian cuisine.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I ordered the Dal Bhukara, Garlic Naan, and a mango rice pudding dessert. I would recommend all of it, and I’m sure the rest of the food is amazing. The portions are very generous. The service is also amazing, the staff were extremely attentive and the chef himself came out to deliver the dish. Overall this was a great restaurant and I’d recommend to all restaurant goers

This spot is literally ! By Aanch is a sister restaurant to the Michelin-recognized Aanch, with theatrical interpretations of modern Indian dishes. We fell in love with the beautiful presentation and delicious dishes, all packed with tons of flavour! We tried the: - Papad chaat - each crispy cone was filled with bhelpuri chaat, aloo chaat, corn chaat, or masal peanut chaat - Chicken tikka quiche - tandoori chicken chunks and a tomato-onion salsa served in tart shells - Kadhai chicken: chicken in a stew base - Yellow Dal Fry: lentil stew - Plain naan and lachha parantha (flakey bread - this was so good to dip in the stews) - Chocolate Kulfi bomb: the presentation was phenomenal Contained mango kulfi inside. Uses sambuca liquor that is set on fire during serving. If you like spiked desserts - this one might be for you! - Rose Lassi: rose yogurt drink - Mango Bunta: mango soda with some masala spices Put By Aanch down the next time you're feeling Indian food - the dishes Chef Sudhanshu Kumar are perfection and we were honestly full just after the two appetizers and brought most of the mains home

I visited this spot since I like the original location on Wellington. Overall the food was okay and it is priced extremely high. For these prices, I would expect fine dining and better quality of food. I would not recommend this restaurant.

My recent dining experience at By Aanch left me utterly impressed and delighted. The Sabudana Vada Chaat was a standout dish, perfectly combining the crispy texture of the sabudana vada with the vibrant flavors of traditional chaat, creating a symphony of tastes that danced on my palate. Another fusion marvel was the Chicken Tikka Trio. Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff members ensuring that every need was met promptly and courteously. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to explore new culinary horizons, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a contented heart and a craving to return soon for another delightful fusion feast.

We went to Aanch - Modernistic Indian Cuisine on the recommendation of our host, Ricky at the Toronto Hilton & had a great experience. The food was as good & authentic as anything we've eaten on our many trips to India. We had a couple glasses of excellent wine along with the Mulligatawny soup to start. It was thinner consistency than we were accustom to but great flavor. We shared an order of Naan bread, rice & Butter Chicken that was perfect! We have another 3-days in Toronto and may go back again before we leave the city. Great service and pleasant atmosphere.

Simply incredible food, it's become my favourite restaurant. The presentation, the flavor, the service are all top notch!

Very Delicious!, generous portions! attentive staff! Their lunch deal is great and today really enjoyed both the rogan josh and the sweet and sour pumpkin. Good mix of opuions for vegetarian and meat/fish eaters. The server we had was very kind but a bit too soft spoken so it was a little difficult to interact. The food was arranged really nicely but the platters took a bit too much space on the table... With a few tweaks they should showcase the excellent food even better!
