Store employee had their poorly behaved pug running loose around the store. It barked at me as soon as I walked in, and continued to follow me around the store barking. I don’t mind a well behaved calm dog, but this was the opposite. Train your dog or don’t bring it to work! So Annoying! Not an elegant experience for such an elegant store.

Sir Larry McGuire, you got people here believing they are the owners + get a trashcan and hire young people. Your employees put their hands in “recycle bins” and my mother proceeded to help since they told her where she threw two bottles of glass bottled water was a recycle bin, you don’t see this in sacks fifth avenue or neiman marcus, given the fact this places are not close I usually choose to buy from this store, definitely not going back again since it is not from it’s caliber as I thought, don’t let people with shein/ tj max mentality interact with the type of people who buy from this store, get a trashcan and do not let people who put their hands on trash cans or “recycle bins” touch precious clothing. hire young and empathetic people, not fossils be serious. Serious people go to your store.

One of my favorite stores in Austin. Carries smaller brands that I don’t see a lot (I was so excited to see Samuel Zelig there!!) as well as more well known ones, and the people working there are extremely knowledgeable and happy to just chat with you. It’s also just very peaceful and has a relaxing vibe! Their location on south Congress is pretty hectic and not as personable, but this location is awesome.

By George was one of our favorite stores to gather last minute outfits for my husband. Up until few weeks ago one of the stylist named Jonathan C. asked for my husbands number which is completely normal when luxury shopping and interested in certain pieces. He would constantly text him after midnight (weekday and weekends) making small conversation we didn’t think much until he asked for explicit photos. We were disgusted by it and sadly we won’t be shopping there anytime soon. We are in process in contacting managers and let them know of this behavior.

I came in with a really bizarre outfit request for a themed wedding I’m attending. I was immediately greeted when I came in and had multiple people pulling potential clothing options. They guessed my size correctly—everything fit like a glove. Such a great experience, thank you!!

We were in town on business and spotted the shop because of the Dries Van Noten window display. The sales clerk was so knowledgeable and helpful. When my husband needed to go down in size the young man quickly appeared with the smaller size. We will be back the next time in town !

Love the clothes, not the service. Having worked here long, long ago I can tell that the service has declined. I was looking around for probably a full half hour, without anyone asking if I needed a dressing room (they were all helping others, to be fair), so I helped myself. While getting checked out, the sales clerk asked me several random questions about my day and avoided changing my old address on file (maybe she didn’t know how?), saying something like, “It doesn’t matter, right?” While leaving, she forgot to open the door for me for the second time (the door was locked and I had used the restroom) and went straight to another customer. Ever her colleague, who helped me with the door, stared straight at her. Ugh!
