"Just off the Square, this organic cafe opened in 2022 with a menu good for body and soul. Byrd House is gluten and soy-free, with a menu of organic juices and wellness shots (ginger! turmeric!) along with protein balls, salads, yogurt bowls, and toast topped with avocado or organic chocolate hazelnut. The cashew and coconut milk is made in-house and there’s oat too." - Beth D'Addono

Yelp
Great tasting food that is healthy and completely gluten free. If you are gluten free for health issues and worry about cross contamination when eating out, then you get the excitement at finding somewhere you can safely enjoy. Side note: there is parking behind the strip of businesses. We were chastised by the owner of one establishment to not park in front of their place and visit other businesses, even though we planned to visit hers. Not any more.

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place but so bad if you're going for coffee. I ordered the salted caramel cashew iced latte and I can barely taste the salted caramel and definitely cannot taste the coffee. My sister and cousin's drinks were also pretty terrible (an ice latte that was completely messed up and not what she ordered, and an iced vanilla chai that has no taste). They were very overpriced for such a small drink that tastes like nothing. The service was slow with no one helping the girl taking orders/making coffee. I would never recommend this place to someone that wants coffee, would recommend Starbucks over this. The shop was cute and we did not try any food or juices, so we cannot vouch for that, but something absolutely has to change with the coffee. I can't remember the last time I had coffee this bad.

Yelp
We were back visiting Oxford and decided to try Byrdhouse for our morning coffee run. There were three of us and one ordered a 12oz iced latte, and the other 2 ordered 16oz, but for some reason we were all given the same size cup and it appeared to be 12oz. My vanilla latte cost 9 dollars and was tiny. While the drink itself is okay.... it certainly is not worth the money spent on it. Mine was made with coconut milk and the milk is curdled at the top which just honestly looks unappealing, I feel like there should be a way to remedy that. I don't typically post reviews but I feel that this place needs to step up their game in order to continue to get business.

Yelp
We stopped here for while we were visiting Oxford and wanted something healthy for breakfast. Their smoothies are great (as are the blueberry scones), and the service and atmosphere are awesome too. I'm glad something like this exists so close to the square, and we will definitely be coming back. We may actually go back later today for some juice for the road .

Yelp
Y'all have to try this place, it is AMAZING!!! I am gluten-free so it is extremely hard for me to find options here in Oxford that are fresh and not out of a box. But this place is so good! Everything is completely gluten free so you wont have to worry about any cross contamination. I always get the Morning Glory Muffin(the best). The avocado toast is really good too, slices are small but that's just because the bread is gluten free. The turkey quinoa bowl was amazing as well. It is on the pricer side but if you are a college student they will do discounts during finals week, which is great! Staff has been so friendly, helpful and talkative every time I walk in there. Makes me feel welcome! As for juices I haven't had the chance to try them all they but the Majik Mint is my favorite right now. Very cute breakfast/lunch area! Reminds me of a lot of places back home in California.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!!! One thing was better than the next! We kept going back to try different desserts! My daughter with celiacs didn't have to worry and really enjoyed! We will be back!!!

Yelp
This place is my best kept secret... don't steal it!! Kind of pricey but one of the few places in Oxford that makes things with ingredients I would choose if I were making it myself. I only wish they had more smoothie and juice options that are low sugar/carb. But they have great espresso in tiny lil cups to go :)

Yelp
Great place for a gluten free and tasty breakfast! I had the blueberry scone and cashew milk vanilla latte; made sure I had every crumb of that scone! My daughter had the açaí bowl and it was great topped with granola fresh fruit, and a drizzle of almond butter.

Yelp
The service was nice. And the ambiance was pleasant, very beautiful Cafe. However the prices for the coffee is a ridiculous amount. We paid $16 for 2 (large and small) coffees. Not including the tip. As someone who has been drinking coffee for 20 years I was overall disappointed in the coffee. I love that they're organic but the coffee itself has no real flavor. Could not taste the coffee or the salted caramel. Only the cashew milk they use. I'm giving it 3 stars because I personally rather the place be a run down shop and the coffee taste amazing than the other way around. It isn't about how nice a place looks it's about how their food and drinks taste.

Yelp
Perfect midweek lunch spot when you want a healthy option but no desire to make it at home. WiFi and great spot to sit still for a minute

Yelp
Service a few weeks to a month ago was great as it has gone down recently when I went today and yesterday. I got the Avocado Toast special, a Peanut Butter Protein ball, and a juice to-go. Pretty good. Expensive as usual but you get good food. The atmosphere used to be good. Now you just have to hope for the best.

Yelp
Cute place vegan goodies and yogurt bowls and juices. Pretty pricey but worth a now and again splurge. I really liked the blueberry scone

Yelp
Very good food, but I have to say it's very overpriced. Most of my friends and I love the food from here, but we're on a college student budget so we can't pay $14 for a juice. Hopefully they can lower their prices so more college students can come.

Yelp
good food but super pricey. we got avacado toast and 2 juices. with tip $62. also no condiments. at least have salt and pepper, tabasco, red hot, etc. also have silver wear not plastic wear.
