Food was very fresh, we dined in so we had to wait a few minutes for the food to cool down but it tasted great. Clean inside and good service. Will definitely come back to try more items.

I truly LOVE the food and the atmosphere! It’s by far my favorite place to get Fried chicken sandwiches And I come often when I can. Usually just to pick up. But when I dine in I love how place is clean and the food is fresh as always. Not much more to say other than a perf fried chicken place and definitely recommended👍🏻

I received a sandwich that was raw in the middle (see photo 1). I was given a replacement which was good although the filet was very small (see photo 2). No discount or refund was offered for the raw chicken.

If you are looking for a satisfying chicken sandwich meal, try Byrd's! I ordered the first thing on the menu. The toasted brioche bun was warm and fluffy. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender with a perfect crispy, golden-brown crust. The restaurant advertised that it uses Halal meat. The flavor of the chicken itself was well-seasoned and fresh. The pickle slices in the sandwich added a nice tangy crunch and their signature creamy sauce had a mild spicy kick that brought out the richness in flavor of the fried chicken. The sandwich was paired with a potato salad and french fries which complemented the sandwich perfectly. (Drink sold separately). The sandwich's balance of flavors and textures set it apart. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the meal as this eatery is a bit hidden away and blends in with many other stores on Roselle Rd. But, the food definitely left a big impact on our tastebuds and so we will definitely come back again!

I ordered the tenders mild and my husband ordered the sandwich combo supahot. We found the chicken had the perfect crunch and the chicken was moist and soft.. the fries had a nice crunch with a dusting of spice, the mac and cheese was not what you would normally expect from a Mac and cheese, but it had a cheesy flavor with a black pepper kick. The staff were friendly and provided an accurate wait time for fresh food.

I really had to think about this place for a while before deciding how to rate it. The food is definitely delicious. Everyone loved their sandwich, the Coleslaw and the potato salad. The service was excellent, the cashier was very kind and professional. She was honest about the wait time. The reason I took off a star is because of portion size. I am aware of inflation and yes this place serves halal chicken which is more costly. However, the tenders on the chicken sandwich were expected to be bigger. The 2 tender meal also was disappointing when it comes to size. I am a fan of fry the coop which I’m assuming this place is imitating. People like to feel like they got bang for their buck. Portion size matters.

Very delicious chicken restaurant. We got the tender basket in the medium heat flavor. Was fairly spicy so I don’t know how anybody would eat the super hot. But they were very delicious. Also, two pieces was more than enough as the portions are very large. The basket came with a drink, french fries and potato salad. Also very nice and friendly service. The chicken does have a slight Mediterranean or Indian flavor to it, which is delicious.

I recently had a great meal at Byrd's ,We ordered the tenders with fries, a sandwich with two sides, and chicken nuggets. The food was amazing – everything was so delicious and satisfying. What I really loved was how simple their menu is. It made it super easy to choose without getting overwhelmed by too many options.

My son and I both got the chicken sandwich combo with fries. I got mine SUPA Hot and he got his just Hot. We like spicy food so the SUPA Hot is really perfect (spot on) meaning it's not to a point where it's so hot that you can enjoy it. We also got the chicken (crispy) and it was done really well. The fries had a perfect amount of seasoning and the 24K sauce was excellent to dip the fries or the chicken sandwich into. If you like Dave's hot chicken give this place a try (I would say it's right up at that level). We will be returning.

In short, good but not amazing at all. I most likely won't be coming back. The reviews had me very excited to come here. Got the bird bomb because it sounded amazing. I asked and it ends up that only includes one tender. Bummer.. So I asked to add one more to give just the chicken alone a fair judgement. Was right at 19+ bucks, with a small cup of free water. Gentleman brought it out in a Togo container in under 10 minutes, nice, even though I mentioned I was eating in when I ordered. Opened the foam (ditch the foam already) Togo container and it looked good, a bit busy and overdressed and couldn't see chicken on it, or the fries for that matter. I dove in with a fork. Flavors and spices are in there for sure, I went for hot. But chicken itself was a little dry and half way through all I had was loads of breading chunks and soggy bread. I was no longer enjoying it at this point. Even with the extra tender it seemed like it needed more chicken, fries and less toppings and breading. I was the only one in there, 2 take out orders while I was there. 530 on a weekday. Service was ok, just functional. Lobby could use a good clean, just acceptable, floor had some fries and food pieces on it. I really thought I would be blown away, but both Fry the coop and Dave's hot chicken have bigger and juicier chicken pieces for smaller prices. And amazing customer service.. Hot was a good level for me, but hard to compare when you have a moshpit of breading, sauce, bread and not enough chicken or fries. Ate just over half and pitched the rest. Left disappointed, I'm a bit sad. Was hoping to bring home leftovers and have them for lunch tomm. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but only 1 chance make a first impression.

When you first walk in the restaurant is a very small store front, and it is very clean too. There six two person tables and two four person tables. (You can move them) they sell Pepsi products in their drink fountain. There is not really a lot of options on the menu, but they do have a kids menu. My husband and I ordered the Single Sandwich for $7.99 and a large order of cheese fries for $5.99. There are different spice levels and we both got medium. The spice builds and by the time I finished eating my tongue was tingling. I think I will try something a little spicer next time. There was coleslaw and pickles on the sandwich, I loved the coleslaw too! The cheese fries were amazing! The cheese is a thick liquid (like you would expect for Mac and cheese) but seasoned perfectly and the fries were crispy and hot so it was the perfect texture in your mouth! We will definitely be back! They have plant based options

I like this place. Was at Lombard recently this place is a little smaller than Lombard. What's interesting is: the same guy was at the counter here in Schaumburg that was in Lombard a week or so ago. I asked him & was told yes they do get moved around. I'm thinking it's the same family or relatives (group) that owns these . Anyway, the sandwiches are done spectacularly. A nice little crust on it, but not heavy breading. Great selection of spices, and sauces are decent. Fries are good. Potato salad is just so so, I'm not impressed by that. But the family gives very good service. Places are clean. The food is great, & not terribly expensive. Definitely well worth a stop and one of the better hot chicken sandwiches around.

Very good chicken! Seemed kinda pricy at first, but you get such a good amount of food that it evens out. We got the chicken sandwich and the Byrd bomb loaded fries and both were soo good and filling! The fries was on top of bread and Coleslaw and covered in chicken and sauce, topped with pickles and more sauce! Def recommend trying! Halal

Byrd's Hot Chicken is a welcome surprise to Schaumburg, 100% HALAL and amazingly delicious! We were greeted friendly by Oman the minute we stepped in. They kept their menu simple to perfect every item they offer. We tried the sandwich special #1 hot with fries and slaw. There's a flavor for everyone as they have 5 different spice levels from Plain to "Supa Hot"! Everything was made to order, neatly labeled and carefully packaged. Other unique sides I'm going to try next time is Byrd's nest fried green beans and their Mac n Cheese! They give generous side portions. The crinkle cut fries were hot and the cole slaw chilled and fresh. The sandwich on that fluffy brioche bun was 10/10 for sure. It's fresh chicken not frozen and you can definitely taste the difference. The breading is light and crispy with the 24k special sauce adding a nice finishing touch. The place was very organized and very clean. They are definitely a game changer when it comes to chicken sandwiches. We really enjoyed our meal and will make this our go to place for the BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH AND TENDERS IN THE AREA! The chicken was super flavorful and the light breading was nice and crispy. This place doesn't disappoint!

I haven't tried any of their chicken sandwich but omg, there Byrd's bomb is bomb asf. The portion is huge. It honestly can probably feed 3 people max. Definitely order this when you can because you will not be disappointed. It hits the spot.

I really enjoy a good hot chicken sandwich, and this one did not disappoint. I called ahead for the chicken sandwich, and chose "hot" as my spice level. There is one hotter choice, but this was perfect for me. The combo came with fries and potato salad (like a double-down carb fest). The fries were pretty standard, but I also found them tasty. They included a cup of their house sauce with the meal, which was a nice touch. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the brioche bun was fresh and delicious. The people were nice and the price was fair. I'll be back again.

Came here with my husband for the first time and it was pretty good. This location just opened less than a month ago, and because we never heard of it before, we wanted to try it out. They are apparently based in Orange County, CA, and I love that they are a more sustainable and caring chain; they advertise that their chickens are raised with no antibiotics or animal byproducts and are 100% vegetable-fed. Upon walking into the restaurant, a worker greeted us at the counter. He was patient with us when we were looking at the menu, but we didn't have to look too long at the menu because it is small and pretty limited. Their menu pretty much consists of chicken tenders, nuggets, or sandwiches. There are not many sides to choose from either (just fries and potato salad are free and mac and cheese or fried crispy green beans are an upcharge), so I found it odd that they have combos with a choice of 2 slides on their menu. They definitely need to add more regular side options. I would like to come back and try their cake shakes, though, because those sound delicious. My husband and I both ordered a medium-spiced single chicken sandwich ($7.99 each) with a side of large cheese fries ($5.99). You can get your chicken plain, mild, medium, hot, or "supa hot". We took our food to-go, but because they cook the food to order, we waited about 10 minutes in the dining room. The restaurant was very warm and it didn't feel like the AC was on, so I was glad we decided not to eat in-store. When we got home and ate our food, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavors. Everything was good and the chicken tender on both sandwiches was large, crispy, and juicy. However, I don't think it was spicy at all, so maybe next time I would try the "supa hot" spice because I love spicy foods. I'm not sure what their 24k sauce is, but I didn't really like it. It was on the sandwich and they also gave sauce cups on the side. The cheese fries were pretty good, but nothing was unique or special about them. We could have ordered them with hot sauce on them, but we decided on having plain cheese fries. I would order them again, though. Overall, I am glad we tried this place and I would come back, but it wouldn't be my first choice. You can tell that you are eating a Nashville hot chicken sandwich because they have the same texture and cayenne pepper coating, but I have had better Nashville-styled ones elsewhere.

My boyfriend & I decided to ditch our original brunch plans in a spur-of-the-moment decision to come here instead, and we have absolutely zero regrets!! Came in during lunch time on a Monday so it wasn't crazy busy. We ordered two orders of the 2-for-$10 sandwich deal (so we could have leftovers for later lol), a side of mac n' cheese (hot spice level), & a "side" (honestly, a whole meal itself because of how much they give you) of fries (medium spice level). Food was delicious & hot-- temperature-wise and spice-wise, and the crunch on the chicken was unforgettable. I also appreciated the range of spice-levels available (ranging "Plain" to "Supahot") :) Discovered a hidden gem in Schaumburg for sure!!

Really good food and large portions! I ordered the mild chicken sandwich. The sauce on it is delicious and the pieces of fried chicken are huge. I did notice the bread was a little more greasy than I'd like, but it won't deter me from eating here again. We ordered a large fry with our sandwiches. It's a generous size and the fries are very good. Just the sandwich and a shared large fry will fill you up! We ordered pickup, and the service was efficient. I recommend trying them out!

First time here, the general manager was extremely nice!. The food is delicious! I will definitely be here again. Even when my girlfriend food came out later he was nice about!. For sure eating here again.

Yeah! Really good sandwiches, like in the whole universe. Juicy tender chicken with crunchy spiced edges and seasonal levels of your choice. We tasted a few, medium, hot, and super hot. Even the super hot is flavorful and delicious [hot ones youtube level medium+]. All sandwiches come with a mustard yummy potato salad and seasoned fries! Pro tip: Housemade sauce is unique and cooling. Best the green beans are incredible. Pleasantly surpided to find one of the best hot chicaken experiences at our local--Enjoy!

Portions were pretty big, definitely have enough to take home if need be. Chicken was solid. Fries were average. There was hella sauce on my order "Byrd bomb" definitely overwhelming. Also there was like 20 pounds of fries too. Overall a solid fried chicken place. Quick service and clean environment.

Potato Salad is excellent, chicken cooked perfect, side sauce is just right amount of heat (used it on fries). Highly recommend!

SO FREAKING GOOD. THE FRIED CHICKEN WAS SO CRISPY OMG. LOVED loved LOVED this place. Went twice wishing 3 days. We were big fans. We will definitely be coming back. The absolute crispiest, crunchy and tasty fried chicken ever. The service was nice and kind. The food was so fresh so any wait is worth it to me (maybe 10 min). Such a clean nice restaurant.

We've been here multiple times, and the chicken tenders and nuggets are great. The guy at the counter is super friendly. I will be back again. The fried green beans are awesome! Good cheese fries. Their 24k sauce is good. You can get everything plain if you can't handle heat, but we love the spicy on everything.

New business. Very clean. Friendly staff. Pricing for food is reasonable. The only thing I didn't like was the enormous amount of breading on the chicken wings, but it's a chain restaurant so that how much breading they put on their chicken wings

Tiny inside so be prepared and a little warm. I honestly think with the volume of sales that I saw being done here that they need a much bigger location. And more in Illinois too. Took about 15-20 minutes to get our food but worth it. Shake I don't think is worth $7, though. Small and runny Delicious, halal and fresh. Two of us split it and still had half left! Do not be shocked by the prices because you'll definitely get your moneys worth here in terms of quality and portion sizes!! (Except for the shake) Will return

Exactly what I wanted and more. Fries are solid, seasoned nicely. The chicken was incredibly crispy and flavorful. The sauce is solid as well. I got a #2 with two tenders at medium spicy which was just right for me. Service was efficient and friendly. The inside is kind of cool with a modernized feel. I'll be back soon.

Such amazing food! My boyfriend and I were in line at the food court at Woodfield mall and saw that Byrd's was opening up there as well. The picture on the wall completely sold us. We hopped out of line and headed over to the Schaumburg location. Hands down best chicken sandwich we've ever had. We've been back a few times and for some reason the lack of ingredients (no slaw on the sandwich & we weren't notified) and miscommunication with our orders for take out hasn't been great. They do have great customer service so we will most certainly be back. The location itself is fine but I feel they could benefit from a bigger location with more seating and maybe some shades to block out the sun - it gets hot and crowded in there!

I got the #1 combo, comes with chicken sandwich, fries and potato salad no drink. When I was here fountain drink station is completely shut down. They don't even offer you water. You have to buy one of their 5 soda drinks if you are thirsty. Sandwich was ok nothing I haven't had before. Since they are new they got a long way to go if they want to stay in business. 15 dollar sandwich with no drink won't get them far. You got a lot of competition. customers in store got upset they couldn't get anything to drink not even a cup of water with their meal.

The chicken is definitely tasty but this time I was turned off by the fact that they wouldn't honor the online menu options. For example, I wasn't allowed to get a tender meal with sides. I had to purchase two tenders individually for $4.99 EACH. And, the chicken sandwich was just a tender on bread. So the experience wasn't great this time. It could've been a one off, but I'd recommend ordering online and picking up in store.

Absolute worst chicken sandwich I ever had. One very small basically chicken tender on some kind of bagel thing with a couple of scoops of potato salad. Had it to 'go'. Didn't even provide any plastic forks or napkins. This mess for $16!

Fried green beans are great! Clean dining room, polite staff. I thought the sauce with the byrds nest was ranch but its tzatziki ! Top notch

I've been here a few times with really no complaints. Bird bomb is a bit big for one person. Their sandwich with coleslaw was really good. I like the season they put in their fries. I'll be back.

The fried chicken is super crunchy and is larger than a Popeye's chicken sandwich. This fast casual restaurant is small and has loud Indian music playing. The Indian influence on the Mac n' Cheese and 24K sauce is delicious! I loved the slaw and pickles on the sandwich as well. Next time we will probably order to go but friendly service and tasty food.

Just had a lunch here for the 1st time. It was really good! I had their chicken strip sandwich and got it medium spiciness. I thought that was the perfect amount of spiciness. The spice level was similar to the typical "spicy" chicken sandwiches you get at any fast food place. It had a bit of heat, but nothing overpowering. They offer plain, mild, medium, hot, and supahot spice level. Their fries had a somewhat spicy fry seasoning on them, which was great! Their house, "24K" sauce, is similar to Raising Cain's, but with a kick. The 2 guys working there were very nice. They bring your order out to your table when it's ready. I was expecting them to call my name to pick it up?! It was a nice change. They keep the place clean, as well. I'd go back to this place!

This place sucks lol the only reason why it's rated as high as it is, is because it's halal and all of the halal eaters don't have anything to compare it to so they think it tastes amazing. The chicken sandwich was mediocre tasting, they messed up my order - forgot my fries, then gave me the wrong sandwich. Would not recommend. If you want a good hot chicken sandwich, go to Dave's Hot Chicken, I'm pretty sure they are also halal! (Btw I'm not hating on any halal eaters, just pointing out my theory for why this place is rated well)

The chicken sandwich would be great if they salted the chicken. I feel like they rely on the pickles to provide the salt. It can't be savory without salt. Savory is the ultimate goal and this wasn't that.

Have been waiting for this location to open for some time. We ordered the Byrd Bombs which is cut up tenders over fries with cheese and 24k sauce. The medium had a decent kick and the hot was super spicy. The chicken is Zabiha Halal and the owners are very nice.

Me and my friend's first time visiting this Chicken Sandwich Restaurant. Funny enough, we were actually on the way to Vasco's chicken next door and came across their sign in the front that said "2 for $10 single chicken sandwiches". We made the decision to try out this place and we weren't disappointed. We were treated with a very nice and lit up interior and easy to read menu. We were then greeted by the staff and he was incredibly nice, social, and friendly and helped us ordering the chicken sandwich spiciness levels. We ended up getting medium sandwiches and they got done with our orders pretty fast. We tried the medium needless to say they were amazing. We devoured both those sandwiches so fast. They were very tender, juicy, and flavorful. The right amount of spiciness paired with the sauce and coleslaw. The owner came around to check on us and was extremely nice and informative telling us about how much they care about the flavor and food. They were even nice enough to let us sample the Hot Spicy Level and yet it was still flavorful, just a bit too spicy for my taste. Overall, a great experience and fully recommend if you're craving some chicken sandwiches

First time here and the food was really good. The chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was perfect. The fries and potato salad were also very good. Will definitely be back.

The food is good, but their online ordering has serious issues. I am currently waiting for an order that was supposed to be ready over a half hour ago. Still waiting behind more people like me... Recommend calling in the order and asking for how long it will be.

The food is really good, the restaurant is clean, and staff is very friendly and attentive. Creative menu and flavors plus the portions are large. Highly recommend this place.
