Brunch-minded and Southern at heart, Byrd’s earns steady lines for cinnamon swirl pancakes and the famed Hot Chic fried chicken sandwich. Included in Coastal Virginia Magazine’s city dining roundup, it’s pure neighborhood comfort.

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem Worth Every Bite! Byrd's Restaurant is the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left. I ordered the Byrd’s Hash with deli corned beef (and yes—real corned beef, not the canned stuff!). The home fries, onions, and bell peppers were perfectly grilled together, topped with two eggs just the way I like them, and served with my choice of bread. You could taste the freshness in every bite—absolutely amazing. My husband got the shrimp and grits, and let me tell you… I almost ditched my own plate to steal his. As someone who’s never had shrimp and grits before, Byrd’s set the bar way high. Creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection—they nailed it. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations, just walk-ins, but the wait is 100% worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which just adds to the cozy, down-to-earth vibe. Byrd’s is a must-visit—whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a winner.

Google
Went here based on a recommendation. My first experience wasn't the best. My chicken was dry and fries overcooked. The biscuit, burger and waffle were on point. It does get crowded. Its a small popular place.

Expect a wait, they don't take reservations. Food and service is phenomenal. Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Had a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it!

Google
Highly impressed by the breakfast here. I had the banana bread French toast and it was amazing. The cappuccino I ordered was perfect as well.

Google
By far the absolute best place to eat in Newport News We just stopped in for breakfast / brunch and I must say in Al of Virgini beach / Hampton roads the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Great French toast , sort of like how they do it upstate thick bread . Amazing flavor. Only thing I would suggest is for the servers to be a little more attentive . Friendly for sure still 5 stars but it wasn’t a terrible wait time to be seated but I was done eating and everything for maybe 10-15 minutes until I could get my check. Again it’s great service but you can definitely turn some tables quicker will help y’all out. Not a huge place so if you are coming here be mindful of that don’t be a Squater. The entire meal was excellent , I would highly recommend

Now we are starting to become regulars. We got in earlier about 8:30 am hardly any wait at all (typically about 45 mins) if later. The service is exceptional and the place feels artsy and home comfy! I love the sense of humor and how everyone helps everyone (genius really) Food is fabulous, a very special place that makes you feel special too.

Google
What a hidden gem in Hidenwood. Our experience was fabulous. From the crab and asparagus omelet to the Ambrosia to the Poutine to the specialty coffees. Best food on the Peninsula.

Google
A surprisingly delightful restaurant tucked in a shopping center near Christopher Newport University. They serve everything from their menu all day and offer a variety of coffee and adult beverages. I had the eggs Benedict, my son had the day's special cookies and cream pancakes, and my husband had the create your own omelet. All were great. My favorite part was my side, white cheddar grits, which were creamy and absolutely perfectly seasoned. I would return for these alone. Their servers were amazing. I think every one of them checked on us at some point in our meal, without us feeling it was too much. My husband’s coffee cup never ran dry.

Yelp
The food and service is on point. This is my favorite restaurant place hands-down on the peninsula. The only downside is the long wait. The staff is friendly and they help out each other. I like the Hydenwood and the French toast ! I have also gotten the eggs Benedict amazing!

Yelp
I have lived in Newport News for almost five years. During that time, I have often driven past Byrd's and always see folks waiting. I figured it must be good or the locals wouldn't wait. I went in by myself one Saturday morning after my plans changed at the last minute and I was in the area. Because I was alone, I was seated immediately and greeted by a server who took my drink order. The place was bustling. It was clean and seemed well-run. The decor is cute even if it's a little dated. The menu was basic but had everything one might want for breakfast or lunch. I opted for bacon, eggs, and french toast. The food arrived quickly and hot. The bacon was crisp the way I like it. The portions were good sized. Everything tasted good and the price wasn't sky high. It's a good basic restaurant. I would eat there again.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! I tried this place out since I was visiting a friend in the area. It must've been super popular as the wait time was 30-50 mins (wow) I ordered an iced french toast lagger (they had so many different flavors!) and a hiden combo which came with 2 pancakes, 2 sausage patties, and 2 eggs. The latte was great! I loved the flavor of the espresso but not my fav syrup flavor. The pancakes were super soft and fluffy. The sausage patty had a good flavor but a bit tough to bite. My friend let me try her home fries and they were nicely seasoned. The servers were super nice and made my group and I feel welcomed. Will definitely be back if i'm in the area!

Yelp
Small but welcoming spot for a delicious breakfast. Wait time can be a bit long due to the popularity of this spot, but the wait is worth it. Service and staff are great here. Food was delicious, pancakes fluffy and my omelette was even more fluffy. My home fries were out of this world. Definitely recommend the home fries. Not open all day, so plan ahead and get there early, you won't regret it.

Yelp
I have on occasion eaten at Byrds, and it is so popular that generally the wait is just too long and too crowded. So today we took a chance at about 1230pm and had a wait of about 15 minutes . When we were seated and our orders placed it took quite awhile for the food to come out. This is the only reason for taking one star. It was probably 45 minutes waiting for food. In the mean time attentive waitstaff were keeping our drinks refilled. I ordered poutine, which is fries topped with melted cheese and brown gravy. Dee licious!! I filled up on it and could barely eat my savory shrimp and grits. This was made alot like a tasty gumbo over cheesy grits. The breading on the chicken sandwich we ordered was crispy and tasty. The portions were huge and everything well prepared. The menu is diverse, kind of between diner food and a pancake house. I really wish I could eat here more often, but the wait is just too long. Still the 3 items and iced tea we ordered came to $60 plus gratuity, which seems average for a similar dining experience most places.

Yelp
I've been to Byrd's a few times, and the food is good--simply good food. The customer service is great. I love the team approach, and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. Seating is limited, so there has always been a wait, typically 30-40 minutes, so be prepared to wait. They do have seating inside near the entrance and outside. I believe you can sit in your car while you wait, and they will call you.

Yelp
Be prepared for a long wait. Maybe it's a good sign because it seems like everyone here in NN come here for breakfast/brunch. Or maybe they just need more help in the kitchen or wait staff. There were at least 3 empty tables. There was even a time when a waitress would come upfront and answer customer questions while the hostess was standing by. Service definitely needs help. Ambiance: typical local diner vibe. Charming decor, a hodge podge of random nature prints and Eat sign. Food: now THIS is the aspect that sets Byrd's Restaurant apart - even with those in VA Beach or Norfolk. Food is solid 5 stars. I ordered The Monitor which is an omelet with real lump crab, diced ham and asparagus. YUMMY! They have specials today one of which was really good that my friend proclaimed: lemon blueberry French toast.

Yelp
Soooooo Good!! This place is so good that you need to be prepared to wait. It's worth it though. Not pictured was "The Granny" a cold ice coffee with liquor. Everything was excellent, start to finish. From the food to the wait staff.

Yelp
At last I have been able to visit The Byrd. You know its a popular place when people are waiting at 8AM for a table. Parking in the shopping center is ample but has an angle and vehicles park along the storefronts. The interior is basic but cozy and overall very pleasant. The menu is not deep but the choices for breakfast or lunch are ample. I had the homemade Hash Browns with egg on top and rye toast along with coffee. The plate was full, the food quantity and quality was very good. Service was attentive, and in a few cases other wait staff made sure my coffee cup was not empty. I actually spoke to the manager/owner and considering how busy it was she took time to ask me how everything was. I would be interested in going back. From what I saw they have a loyal following which is earned.

Yelp
My first time going here everything was good. They put some type of beef sauce (gravy) on the shrimp and grits. Didn't expect it but it was cool. They also put a savory sauce on the chicken for the chicken and waffles, don't know why and i haven't tried it yet because of it. Service is ok when you go pick up your order. I will say though my over the phone ambiance was pretty destroyed by the rudeness of whoever answered the phone on 8/17/25 at 11:11 am. She got an attitude because i asked if this fine establishment uses 100% maple syrup or not. Annoyed me tremendously.

Yelp
Food is always good! Some of the best shrimp and grits in the area! Byrd's hash with real corned beef and eggs, amazing! Jays big biscuit sandwiches are huge and very good! They are always busy and always a wait but definitely worth it!

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing the only thing is the wait was over an hour but it's definitely worth it. Wish I took a picture of my food but I had some delicious shrimp and grits and my fiancé had that steak and eggs with a side of French toast. He liked his food as well. I would definitely go back I did manage to get a pic of my caramel macchiato it was delicious

Yelp
Sophia and I stopped here for breakfast on our day off from work last Friday. We've been here before a few times where the breakfast was very good. It's been a year since our last stop so why not see what they've been up to? We entered after 8am but it was so packed that there was a near 40-minute wait. To be honest, it didn't bother me since we had nothing else planned until later on. They always have a packed house and seating is small. Patience is definitely a virtue. After snagging a table, we were ready to order. I selected the Snyder omelet (bacon, ham, cheese, mushrooms) with a side of sweet potato fries and Sourdough bread. I also had an iced Butterscotch latte for beverages. Everything was delicious. The omelet was full of protein and veggies which is a huge plus for me. The sweet potato fries....a whole lot. And I gotta say the cinnamon-based dipping sauce was a game changer. You definitely don't need a side of ketchup for this one. The Sourdough bread was slightly burnt, but it didn't bother me at all. You can't go wrong with jelly and butter either. A very nice way to start off our day. A full breakfast with staff making sure you're taken care of. Can't ask for anytjing more. Till next time :)

Yelp
The food and service is ALWAYS GOOD. Can be a bit of a wait sometimes but it is worth it. If you're not hangry just wait and order something. I have tried all breakfast options and I love the shrimp and grits. Very filling and delicious. The mimosa flight will have you feeling as though you're flying

Yelp
For a Thursday morning before a long weekend holiday the restaurant was packed. The wait time was 40mins but they sorted us in 25-30min. The setting was relaxing and fairly quiet for a morning rush crowd. The food was tasty and the service was great. Everyone was very friendly. The food didn't wow me but it was still very good. It's not pictured but I also had French Toast Banana Bread; it was very sweet and moist. Everything was flavorful and filling with their large portion sizes.
google avatar

Yelp
A bit overrated in my opinion. I arrived just after they opened (only 5 tables had patrons). I waited about 20 minutes to order, of course after the waitstaff took the food order everyone plus the 3 other tables who arrived after me. Thus, it was about an hour to get my food and finish eating. I can see why this place is always so busy, it simply takes forever to order, get you food, and leave. The French toast was high quality, and very good. I got a large portion of bacon. Of course the cost reflects it. Overall, it was worth a try - but is it a 45 minute wait if you come during peak hours? No. No. No. I'd rather spend a short amount of time eating decent and inexpensive french toast over the contrary. But meh, to each their own. It is a step above a typical diner.

Yelp
I would love to give this place a 5 star review. The food was great, the waitress, Alexis was fantastic. Unfortunately the manager/owner whoever she was assaulted my 17 month old, yes 17 MONTH old. I took my toddler to breakfast this morning hoping to have some just us time. I was prepared and brought his felt busy book for him to play with, they had crayons and paper for him to color, these things entertained him for about 20 minutes after we ordered but our food still hadn't arrived and he was getting bored so he picked up the little bundle of (cheap plastic) flowers and was playing with them. I was showing him how to keep them together and making sure didn't destroy them. As our food was being delivered 10 minutes later, this woman comes over to our table and yanks them out of his hand and walked away. I didn't want to make a scene and luckily our food had just arrived so he was distracted by eggs and didn't get upset at this woman taking something from him. I didn't want to make a scene so we just ate our food and when she came over to ask how our food was like nothing happened I asked her to please in the future not take things from people's children and her response was "In the future don't let you child play with my flowers and we'll be fine." I 1000% would have been okay with her saying something like "Hey, can you please not let your kid play with the flowers" I wouldn't even have cared much if she had been rude to *me* about it. I've worked food service and retail for 20 years, I get that kids can be frustrating and parents even more so but you do not EVER put your hands on someone's kid.

Yelp
The wait for this restaurant is terrible. Honestly the wait alone is a deterrent and they don't offer a call or text option once your table is ready. So you have to wait at the restaurant for 1-2 hours until your table is ready. And don't be in a hurry because even though you're seated you'll still have a bit of a wait with the kitchen. That being said, the food is delicious. I had the chicken and waffles and ate every bite. My sister ate every bite of her biscuits and gravy. My sister had the mango mimosa and said it was quite tasty. I had the pomegranate and it was PERFECT. The second one I had was grapefruit and it was not hitting. It tasted as though they used unsweetened grapefruit juice which just made it not great. The restaurant is quite small and everyone is in there tight. When they're full it can be very close and they one have a single stall restroom.

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of being served by Alexis during my visit to Byrd's Restaurant, and I must say her service was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were seated, Alexis greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor that instantly made us feel welcome. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, as she provided insightful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Alexis was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were filled and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She checked in at just the right times, making sure we were satisfied with our food and addressing any questions we had. What truly stood out was her enthusiasm and genuine care for the dining experience. She took the time to engage with us, sharing stories about the restaurant's specials and even her favorites on the menu. It was clear she takes pride in her work and values her customers. Overall, Alexis made our dining experience memorable, and her exceptional service is a testament to her professionalism and dedication. I would highly recommend seeking her out if you're visiting Byrds Restaurant you won't be disappointed! Thank you, Alexis, for a fantastic afternoon! Unfortunately, she was reprimanded (by the owner right in front of us) for not mentioning a promotion or item to us, in which she did. The unprofessional intrusive behavior of the manager was off putting to say the least. This young lady didn't deserve that and it was the day after Christmas. I hope we can have more kindness and accuracy going forward.

Yelp
This breakfast & lunch spot is delicious! Love that you can order lunch or breakfast anytime they are open! First time here and it won't be out last. Everything we had was delicious and we sampled a lot! I highly recommend the club sandwich, the scrambled eggs with pimento cheese added in, the chicken noodle soup, the sweet potato fries, banana bread French toast and cinnamon swirl pancake. Coffee never went low and very friendly service. Did have s little bit of a wait on Friday morning, but understand why with how good the food is! Nice comfortable seating and a cute coffee bar in there as well with lots of fun coffees to order with your food.

Yelp
The pepper got me at first Ordered shrimp and grits, enough for two and it was so delicious. The pepper got me at first but after a sip of water I appreciated all the flavors. French toast are thick! And pancakes and fluffy. Small wait to sit down but all very worth it!

Yelp
Was visiting Newport News,Virginia for Mother's Day weekend and decided to visit Byrd's, this is my second time eating at this restaurant. Location isn't the largest and reservation are not available so wait time can be a little long, there is plenty of parking as the restaurant is located in a shopping center. Hostess is nice and service is always attentive, this visit we ordered Mimosa flights,Cheese burger w/fries and Crab breakfast quesadilla. All food came out fresh, and in a timely manner with great flavor! Restaurant itself is simple and decor, and is very clean from the seating area to the bathrooms. All around the experience was great and if you're looking for a affordable breakfast/brunch in the Newport news area, this is definitely a place to try

Yelp
Went to Byrd's the other morning for breakfast. There was a bit of a wait, about 20 minutes or so. There is usually a wait of some sort as the restaurant isn't really that large. It is a family style restaurant. The servers are always very nice, especially Kim. I got a caramel macchiato and cinnamon roll pancakes and it was amazing. I don't feel like the pancakes are overly sweet, although they come with icing. My bestfriend got the Chicken Quesadilla, and she said it was a 10/10, along with the potatoes. Byrd's is a favorite of mine and i will be back sooner rather than later!

Yelp
This is my favorite breakfast restaurant. They have unique dishes I order an omelette with ceab meat and I really enjoyed it. i gave been here on multiple occasions and the food and customer service gas been great. They also have mimosas which is a plus. The only downside is there is usually a wait. However, I don't mind waiting if Im going to enjoy the experience

Yelp
The average restaurant seems to work with one contact doing everything, a split team where one person takes the ordering, and another serves, or a few variations of defined non-cooperative existence. This place beautifully breaks that mold... shatters it. I've never seen such a large group cover each other so well... the hostess which could have been an owner (British accent) also came by with refills and checking in. One person took the order, but served food to others. Another served our food, but took orders elsewhere. Constant light checking for satisfaction, refills, and more. I think this model rocks the customer service and efficiency world as each person looked at what needed to be done next and did it. Perhaps I misread it... but it looked like a world class ballet compared to most places. Food was great, the long wait was worth it, and the attention to each detail was marvelous. Thank you all!!!
google avatar

Yelp
It's obviously a good choice when the wait is an hour. We got the porch swing and morning y'all alcoholic beverages while we waited and they were great. Not overly sweet. I ordered the eggs Benedict with sweet potato fries. My ONLY complaint would be that the hollandaise sauce was a little vinegary and thin. Maybe the vinegar was from not rinsing the poached egg after cooking it. Other than that the service was great. They really did a nice job taking care of the table. I'd go back.

Yelp
Came for brunch with a friend on a Friday, This is a small restaurant located within a shopping center. The wait was an hour but we didn't mind waiting until 2 different parties that came in after us were seated before us... we spoke to the hostess and noticed that our name was scratched through on the list with "cancelled" written beside it, even thought we were sitting right beside the hostess counter the whole time. The hostess was very apologetic and seated us next which was about 10 minutes later. Our server was very friendly and took our order right away however the wait for the food was very long as well.. when the food finally came, it was delicious! It tasted fresh and had a home cooked feel. Portions were great and processed were appropriate. Would definitely return, but will make sure to have plenty of time!

Yelp
This place is worth the wait! We got there around 10:30 on a Saturday and waited about 40 minutes for a table of four. We knew what to expect because of the reviews and didn't mind waiting to try this place. The space itself is small so I'm impressed with how quickly they were able to move people through. They pretty much have it down to a science. Our server was quick to arrive and take our order. It seemed like no time for our drinks and food to arrive. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions are huge for what you pay! The value is definitely there.

Yelp
On a trip to Virginia, we happened upon Byrd's (thanks Yelp). While we waited for our name to be called, we chatted with the couple next to us who turned out to originally be from the same neighborhood in Philadelphia! We ended up ordering a caramel latte, decaf coffee, the chicken and waffle and Byrd's hash (eggs on the side). The latte was very sweet but otherwise good. The decaf was surprisingly delicious. The chicken and waffle was honestly a bit of a disappointment. The chicken was okay but lacked crispness. And the waffle had a strange flavor. I hated the gravy and was glad I got it on the side. The star of the show, and the reason I would return if I was back in the area, was the Byrd's hash. My family is very picky about hashes and as a result we are typically wary of trying hashes at new places. We were willing to take the risk this time #1 due to the cheeky "not out of a can" note on the menu and #2 after looking at pictures here. The hash was so good I was trying to sneak extra bites in! We subbed out the toast for a pancake which was also very good.

Yelp
AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE After seeing the good reviews, my daughter, her friend visiting from out of town, the friend's toddler, and I decided to give it a try. This turned out to be a bad mistake. I arrived first and asked for a table for three with a high-chair. When my party arrived I was happy to see that my son-in-law had accompanied them. The restaurant was very busy and there were a few people before me so we settled in for a wait. That is when the issues began. ISSUES: - Similarly sized groups who arrived after us were seated first. Initially, I thought it was because they had reservations and we were walk-ins. However, a review of the website revealed that Byrd's is supposed to be "walk-on only". - The manager refused the seat my son-in-law. As stated, upon entering I asked for three seats and a high chair, which admittedly turned out to be wrong since my son-in-law joined us. The manager (Christina) who seated us was clearly non-plussed and annoyed about his unexpected addition and said adding another chair was not possible. Being that the miscount was my mistake, we said we'd be okay with either letting the baby sit with her mother or waiting for another table. Christina told us neither was AN OPTION. My son-in-law is a gentleman and offered to sit in the car so we could be seated. We were stunned, but acquiesced because we'd been waiting so long that we just wanted to eat (especially for the baby's sake). Ultimately, we ordered a meal for my son-in-law which he ate in his car. What we had hoped would be an opportunity to catchup up with a family friend and her new to us baby over a meal had turned into a disappointing experience. - The manager had trouble processing my payment. Ordinarily I wouldn't mention this because annoying things can happen at any business. However, after such a disheartening experience, this was the cherry on top. GOOD FEATURES: Despite the overall awful experience, I gave the restaurant one star for the following: - A very pleasant waitress who commiserated with our poor treatment, but didn't feel empowered to do anything about it. - Adequate food. No one complained about it. - Decent ambiance. Despite Christina's refusal to add a chair or otherwise accommodate us, I have to admit the restaurant had ample space. This should have been a plus, but ended up being even more galling!

Yelp
The food is really delicious. However it's always busy. You have to come like right when they open. Saturday and Sunday past 8:30 AM, you're waiting 30+ plus minutes. Besides the wait time, everyone is friendly and helpful. One of the best brunch spots on this side of the water.

Yelp
Good food but not worth the hype and the long wait. We ordered to go because of the wait time. The steak was thin and chewy and flavorless.

Yelp
I have enjoyed eating here for years. Byrd's breakfast is incredible. Try the Snyder Omelet or the Chicken and Waffles. I will continue t9 eat there with the great owners and staff.

Yelp
A very inviting place. I came in a hour before closing and I was not turned away. I was treated amazingly by all the workers. I was never rushed to finish my food. There was a wait time of approx. 20 mins. However, it was no more than 10-15 mins of wait. There is an option for patio seating which is nice when the weather permits. I ordered the flight mimosa, the monitor crab omelet with a side of french toast. The french toast was really good which was surprising because I don't like French toast. The omelet needed some salt and pepper but that didn't bother me because I have family that doesn't eat with salt due to health. So, i think its nice for them to have an option to eat here with me!

Yelp
Went to restaurant at 1:20 PM with a closing time of 200 PM and was refused a seat by the hostess and another person that could have been a waitress or manager. There was no waiting list, they do not take reservations, and open tables were available. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and will not return.

Yelp
We had a 6 person party and the wait was well worth it. Staff was great, it was ALL STAFF SERVICE. I think 3 different people refilled my coffee. The FOOD, Big portions and everything was great.

So my partner and I arrived around 9:45 am on a Friday. We were told our wait was going to be 45 mins and so far we've been here for over an hour. Sitting inside the lobby and observing customers come and go, the front desk greeters are giving differing wait times. One is giving an hour and a half and the other is giving 2 hours. After one hour and thirty minutes we are finally being seated. The place is really nice and cozy though. Clean and well kept. Hope the food is worth the almost two hour wait! The food was delicious and definitely worth the wait. The waitresses were nice and pleasant too! Overall, communication and estimates could be improved!

Yelp
This is my favorite breakfast place the Byrd's Benedict is amazing Some constructive feedback I can tell owner is stressed many times when I go in which i can understand in leadership role. My heart goes out to any business owner! I would try a different team work approach it may be more effective with positivity vs. the negative abrupt interaction ... if customer notice that isn't good . Everyone has bad days but its always important to have a positive outlook . I notice tables sit a long period many times when we have visited. I don't intend to be negative at all just to provide observation on hopes to improve experience of associates and customers . The food is amazing and team is friendly .

Yelp
Small cozy breakfast spot. The eggs Benedict's are my favorite. Easy to customize like I did.

Yelp
Now be prepared to wait...Byrds does not have a reservation system or open table (please consider its 2023)...BUT BABYYYY once seated the BEST breakfast in the 757! Its small quaint and friendly but well worth the wait! Everything is delicious from the Shrimp and Grits (top tier)...Omelettes...PANCAKE (yes)...and lets not forget the beverages...Mimosa Flight A MUST! Always a 10/10 I just hate waiting 45-1hour with nothing around...

Yelp
Wish I could try the food, unfortunately the person who takes names at the front is so rude she literally won't allow me to sit- the first time my daughter was walking in from the parking lot and she told me the other party had to be physically present (there were two tables seated and NO people waiting). This time she decided she was going to take multiple people in front of me for names- because apparently men get better service from her. I had to give a star to leave a review.

Yelp
Excellent! You must try their poutine and wash it down with the mimosa flight but have a DD! Be prepared for a little wait but it is absolutely worth it. It is very family friendly and casual. A true local treasure!

Yelp
The service was very friendly and hospitable. The food was pretty decent but I feel like it was missing an ingredient to really bring out that wow factor, but overall, I enjoyed my omelette. I had a little bit of my husband's shrimp and grits too and found that enjoyable as well. The big hitter was the Bloody Mary! This is one of my favorite ones yet. Just one gave me that nice buzz feeling without tasting like it was just liquor. I recommend people to try this place out.. especially for the drinks lol
