Byron - Covent Garden

Our beloved&fabulous Byron Waterloo is sadly no more, but luckily Byron is still here. Byron Covent Garden has a very cool interior, and it offers the same amazing trademark Byron burgers - the namesake Byron Burger is our favourite. The superb Byron malt is unfortunately no longer in the Byron's menu, but the thick shake - for us, the vanilla - is very good. The house fries are just right, perfect saltiness, and crispiness. A good selection of drinks - so good that the Toro Fuerte malbec is still in the menu. You no longer get coffee at Byrons, but you are not going there for the coffee anyway. What is unchanged, however, is the good and friendly service - thank you to our great waiter Finlay - that makes Byron Covent Garden such an enjoyable place to go to. Long live Byron, and Byron Covent Garden!

The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing, the burger, milkshake and fries were all very filling and tasted great. The service was quite good although there was no service and I had issues with the restaurants WiFi (not sure if it was a me thing) so I had to use my friends phone to make orders. They did ha e table service order as well which wasn't a big deal. Overall quite a good spot to chat and catch up with friends.

Loved the sweet potato chips with side table condiments, Byron Burger & The Smokey! Dirty seats, allergen QR codes broken and the staff unfriendly. Restaurant is so loud it’s impossible to have a conversation. For coeliacs, zero reassurance/ attention to explain how they’re making sure allergens. Staff is busier to banter with one and another in front of the kitchen than actually serve (ie even giving the drinks to the people who ordered them vs just slamming them on the table to one side and running away). Though we sat next to the kitchen, my burger was somehow cold. To top of the experience, the staff coughs without covering their mouths to the backs of the customers - in a way it’s nice though since you don’t see them washing their hands between handling dirty dishes and fresh plates.

I got wings and sweet potato fries! With fresh orange juice which was surprisingly really refreshing. I also had a brownie dessert - again flavour and presentation was lovely. Fresh with great flavour. Staff were lovely, always accommodating and I’ve been here a few times now. It’s the perfect spot especially if you’re touring Covent Garden.

Great location, perfect for a pre theatre meal. Cosy atmosphere however service took a tad longer than expected. Good vegan options however the onion rings were drenched in oil and soggy. The vegan burgers were pretty average nothing to rave about. Chicken burgers were tasty and fresh. Mac and cheese was great. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Byron in Covent Garden is a solid choice for a casual meal. 🍔 The burgers are juicy, well-cooked, and packed with flavor, with plenty of sides to choose from. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, making it a nice stop whether you’re dining solo or with friends. Great spot for comfort food! 👍

Meaty, flavorful burger. Excellent fries. Got The Smokey. Good, thick burger patty. The maple bacon was really tasty. Could have been a crispier, but it wasn't limp. When combined with the bbq sauce it was a bit sweet for my liking. Should be noted I asked for no pickles (because they're just cucumbers soaked in evil) so maybe that would have balanced things. However, they do have a "hot" sauce on the table. It claims to be medium heat. Eh. But it did have enough kick to help tone down the sweetness. The fries were surprisingly good! Crispy exterior, yet still fluffy on the inside. And really well salted. If you're sensitive to salt, it may be a bit much, but for me it was perfect. I was a little worried about service, as that seemed to be the most common compliant. But everything went extremely smoothly. Perhaps because I went on off hours. (2:00) Overall, not only will I return, but will go out of my way if I'm in the area and craving a burger. Next time I'll even get a shake to wash it down.

Great burgers! We had a few meals here while in town. They make a really good burger. The menu is fairly limited but with a solid burger and good side options, what else do you need? Definitely recommend Byron.

The hamburger, fries and milkshake were all great BUT service is dismal. The couple next to me waited for 30 minutes for a server and I never got my check. I waited over 30 minutes and after asking for it twice I left £25 on the table and left. I don't even think the take notes but I couldn't wait any longer.

I'm not sure why this place gets under 4 stars. We loved it! The burgers were very flavorful and tasty! I would definitely go here again. We just happened to find it when we hopped off our bus tour. We were famished! So glad we walked in. Yum!

C-Rex was super good! Could use a little more sauce, just a tad. Side fries was generous. Kids dishes are reasonable value for price. All burger are big. Great family ambiance. Service was speedy. Also, notable is that it's a large restaurant with underground seating, so lots of space.

Just what I needed. American style burgers and fries. I did not say crisps I said fries! The atmosphere is pretty cool here. They have an average noise level and friendly wait staff. Luckily they also take Apple Pay; or else I may have been washing dishes while I was there. I am traveling in London and forgot my credit card in my dress pockets from the day before. I came I. Ate then realized no card. Yay Apple Pay saved me. The food was good. I asked for medium rare and I got medium rare. I know it's just a burger but cooked right makes all the difference to me. They even had ketchup on the table. I like not having to ask for normal stuff at a burger place. I am sure to stop in here again for a comfortable and affordable meal. The prices were fairly descent for the area. The food service was also fairly quick. One last thing. When I ran my Apple Pay charge. They didn't force me to rip them. They actually bypassed the tip screen and handed the machine with just my good bill. This was different to me and so I asked them if I could tip and I did. Ok I recommend this somewhat American burger joint.

We went to this burger joint for my birthday lunch today. Hubby had reserved a table but it was not too busy at 2pm and we were seated straight away. Service to start of with was very good and quick. Ordered some wings for a starter and they were yummy, particularly loved the blue cheese dip. We all had the cheese fries with bacon. They were good but a little light on the cheese. Husband had the Reuben burger. He says it's messy to eat but totally worth it. Daughter had double bacon and cheese and she loved it. I had the big smoke. It was tasty but felt it was a little light on the bbq pulled pork, was kind of a hit and miss. We also had milkshakes. Oreo and Mississippi mud something. They were amazing. Best Oreo milkshake I have had in a long time. Had the brownie with ice cream for dessert which was very good and Oreo cheesecake freakshakes which were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Service at the end was a little slow, took ages to get the bill but it's all good. Will return here.

I love Byron!!! This was probably the best burger I had in London. The patty was a perfect medium rare and super flavorful. The staff was extremely helpful which made this a great dining experience. I would come here over and over again!

In a sheep like tourist packed strip of chain restaurants running along the arse of Covent Garden towards the Strand, Byron doesn't initially stand out. It's a fairly substantial chain of its own now, ten restaurants strong stretching from Kingston to Canary Wharf. Despite my misgivings of chain restaurants generally, I have to admit that Byron appears to be really rather quite good. It's a clean, tiled room with church hall style chairs and basic decor. There's a cavernous space downstairs that I hope fills out regularly. It was a quick bite, post and prior to a few beers. I went for the Byron Burger and courgette fries. Never having had courgette fries, I was pleasantly surprised. Soft and juicy courgette strips, in a light and crispy batter. Perfect. The burger was cooked medium, with a beautiful pink colour. The charred flavour I was hoping for only came through in the last last few mouthfuls but it was there, and it was good. There was a nice tang to the cheese, though the bacon was a little thick and came away in lumps.

Probably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I got the cheeseburger with mature cheddar. The meat was cooked perfectly. It comes medium and really is medium. The cheddar was very tasty. You could tell that they use quality ingredients. The fries were very good and the onion rings are the best I've had. My husband and I found this while walking around the neighborhood and we were so thankful that we gave it a try. We did not receive horrible service. Our server was quite friendly and attentive.

Short story: American cheese and French's yellow mustard. Long story: These could be served in any American upscale burger joint. I had the B-Rex, my wife had a chicken sandwich, and both kids had custom burgers. Both were so excited to see American cheese and French's yellow mustard. I was happy with the crisp (streaky) bacon, onion ring, BBQ sauce, and chopped onions. If you want to taste "proper" burgers, Byron's is the place.

Great service. Nice location. My wife and I had the mushroom goat's cheese burger with fries and onion rings. I was surprised by the way the flavors worked together on the burger, but overall it was nice. Smoky with a hint of savory. Onion rings had a nice thick batter. Chips were as expected.

Quick and friendly service, with a nice selection of dining options. Banana milkshake was amazing, as were the sweet potato fries. Not the biggest fan of their new Cali Vegan burger, but would be willing to come back and try some of their other burgers instead. Overall good experience and great vibe for a casual lunch

Maybe I came on an off day? I came here on recommendation of a friend. After ordering, we sat...and sat...and sat probably for about thirty minutes. The tables around us got served including people who came in after us. We never even received it beverages! The waitress kept glancing at us but never came close enough for us to flag down. We finally were able to grab her and she apparently said our ticket had been closed and we had received our food. (She also didn't remember she was our waiter). She re entered our order and it finally came...with a mistake. Sigh. To be fair, she did discount our food for her mistakes. So how was the food? Ehh it was okay. The burgers are a bit on the smaller side...similar in size to Shake Shack. The Bryon cheese was a bit thick and I'm fairly certain Byron sauce is the same special sauce...that thousand island type sauce..,a lot of places use. The cheese fries were crispy but had very little sauce. I guess for those looking for a taste of America they may enjoy it? But guys, we do burgers much much better.

Great burger. Fries need work. Americans love freedom fries, as much if not more than the meat. Byron's served what was needed. Ambience is stuffy and cold. If you're going to make burgers an art, why no table cloths, wall art? Rebel Review: 4 stars

We were lucky to have Jacob for our waiter. He was charming, informative and funny. Didn't treat us like stupid tourists. The food was great. We had Cobb salad, macaroni and cheese, cheeseburgers, cole slaw, onion rings, chips, and fried zucchini. Everything was prepared as requested. He kept our drinks refilled and cleared off empty plates quickly. He even gave us tips for fun things to do. Great first British restaurant experience for our kids.

I've tried a few of London burgers and I've got to say that Byron's are definitely in my top 3 ! The beef is always perfectly cooked (medium rare for me, but they ask you every time), bun is pretty good too and the service is great ! The salad is a good choice but so is the coleslaw and well, the fries too. I've never been disappointed at Byron !

Most stressful pre theatre meal ever. In fact worst restaurant experience ever. Long wait times, bad service and mice. We were going to see a show and arrived here with 1 hour 15 to spare. After being told the wait time is 35 minutes but being assured that would be fine, we sat down. Upstairs full, downstairs fairly busy. We're not asked for drinks when seated but we look through the menu. We quickly decided what we wanted and tried to catch the attention of the waiter who knew we were in a hurry. The response is everyone is going to the theatre we just need to wait. At this point I'm killing for a drink, there's a guy behind the bar but he ignores us. After asking someone for water and waiting ten minutes we ask someone else, who gets us the glass that had been on the side since we walk in, and a jug with a couple glasses. Fortunately our friend didn't want to drink. After 20 minutes we get to order our food. While we wait, the couple next to us well arrived after us has managed to get food already. That annoyed me. Downstairs is starting to empty now. The couple next to us finish and we still haven't got food. We keep asking to be told it's coming. While waiting we watch a mouse scurry across the floor which freaks my friend out but I'm not leaving we need to eat. Makes her anxious the rest of the night. After 45 minutes we go to leave, there's one couple left downstairs and upstairs is quiet. As we head up we say to the waiter we have to go he just says nonchalantly that 'it's ok don't worry' like are you for real? It's not bloody ok we've sat here for an hour and not got food. Upstairs we walk out the door and my friend turns to see food under the great lamp that looks like it could be for us.... We asked and it was, so we wolf down the mediocre food in 5 minutes and rush to the theatre with literal minutes until start. No time to argue the wait time and everything so we paid full price without the whisper of even an apology. I don't hate many food places but fuck Byron burgers.

LONDON RESTAURANTS! I MUST HAVE YOUR ATTENTION! This Byron knows good service. Seriously. No, seriously. Okay so Byron burgers aren't going to top the list of anyone's favorite burger on the planet. But as far as chains go, Byron does the job and does the job better than the other popular chain GBK. I had a Roquefort burger which was cooked perfectly, along with skin on chips which were also tasty, although slightly lacking in salt, and a chocolate oreo shake. All were good and perfectly serviceable. The crispy red onion on the Roquefort burger really makes it quite tasty. Totally recommend. But what I want to talk about is the service. Our group of 9 walked in at 7:50, having booked a table at 8pm. Whoops. They couldn't find our booking. Well, that's not great. So the host looked around and said that if we went to get a drink, he would have a table for us by 8:15. Okay, it's a bit inconvenient, but not killer. So our group went across the road to Sophie's for a drink. Get our beverages, and suddenly we turn around to see that the Byron host had walked over to tell us that our table was ready and to take our time and come back whenever we're ready. I was impressed by this alone. How nice is that? Then, halfway through our meal, the manager walks up, unsolicited, and says "I understand there was an issue with your booking, so we're going to take several of the food items off the bill." And he delivered on that promise. Not to mention, our waiter was totally spot on. Say what? Seriously, I will love this Byron forever for the top notch way they handled a minor inconvenience. Super classy folks. No excuses, just awesome delivery.

I first discovered Byron's accidentally while wandering near Holborn Underground Station (it's also walking distance from Charring Cross) looking for food after a film/lecture at LSE. We had a short wait at 9ish on a Friday, probably about 10-15 minutes. On our return visit, also a Friday, we had the same wait at 730. As soon as we sat down I was convinced this was American owned. Who else but an American would know to put Cholula and French's mustard on every table, put Sierra Nevada on tap on the menu and offer classics like no frills cheeseburgers and milkshakes simply and without the Americana kitsch so commonly assigned to these types of restaurants in the UK? Turns out I was wrong. It's British owned but the guy did his homework, and certainly fooled this Yankee. The burgers are high-quality meat, served simply and with all the right fixins: tomato, special sauce (probably ketchup and mayo blend), sliced red onion and fresh, leafy green lettuce. Optional add ons are a variety of cheeses, bacon, avocado. The burgers are just the right size, juicy and the choice in meat quality is distinct. The bun is a bit too soft for my preference but not a meal ruiner. The service is pretty good, with the server smiling and checking back twice after the meal was delivered and even chatting us up a bit. This location is quite large, with a downstairs area as well as more than two dozen tables at ground level. We got an Oreo sundae on our last visit, and it was only so-so. I would prefer a better quality ice cream and there was little Oreo about it, save for the cookie being added to the top and maybe a half of another crushed up into the rest. But overall I'm really impressed with this burger place's offerings and ambience. Worth a try if you like good quality burgers, American or otherwise.

Had great service and a very good burger here before going to see The Lion King. We had only 40 minutes to get a bite, no reservations, and neither I nor the mrs. were very hungry. Byron's took us in right away, took our drink and food order quickly, and the food came out fast! The standard cheeseburger was cooked perfectly medium with a good blend of gooey cheese and the side of onion rings were fresh and homemade. Jacob, our awesome server, was engaging, friendly and even offered to split our shared burger for us. We got our food so fast we even had time for dessert! We tried a banana, caramel and "biscuit" concoction not knowing what we were getting into. It ended up being a parfait-like banana pudding (delish) and the "biscuit" was actually layers of graham crackers. Silly Brits and their "biscuits"...

It's one of the those very few places in town that you can find a combination of good quality food, friendly service and reasonable price. I am so impressed by the staff and how lovely they all were- enjoyed the food very much- I confidently can say that it is the best burger you can get in town I think the place still need more variety in menu, but overall my experience in three branches in central London was absolutely positive

This is a new location for Bryon's. I had a Byron burger today and it was really good. The bun didn't break apart and the burger was nice and juicy. Crispy bacon and cheese were there to accompany the juicy burger in great harmony. As a side I got to try some courgette (aka zucchini) fries, they were good but the onion rings were amazing. The waitstaff were really nice and helpful too, refreshing to see that in London.

Byron is the ultimate answer to whether there's a decent burger to be had outside the states, and it's with an ear-shattering and resounding HELLS YEAH. Byron is Van Gogh's sunflowers. Beethoven's fifth. Homer's Odyssey. It is basically the greatest fucking burger you will ever taste on this planet, aside from the Olympus-quality steakburgers served at Lark Creek Steak in San Francisco. Any burger ordered up medium rare is guaranteed to kick off a satisfying afternoon.

Since moving to London from the States, I've been on the hunt for good old fashioned Americana-y food and Byron has pretty much been the answer. For hamburgers, at least. Simple and straight to the point, the burgers are juice and delicious and they taste like a sticky summer night when my dad's just flipped them off the grill. Cooked perfectly with the classic toppings and a coke in a glass bottle, it's just the best. Hits the spot. The people watching is great because there is always such a diverse clientele and i always get a giggle out of people who sit daintily and sip their wine while eating their burger with a knife and fork. My only complaint is that the tables are a little close together and I've been stuck awkwardly, and unintentionally listening in on my neighbors conversations.

Came here after a night of drinking in Covent Garden (celebrating the Detroit Lions win earlier in the day in London) and was looking for something to eat and stumble upon Byron hamburgers. Ordered a couple of beers (they only serve it in a can, no draft) and of course food. For food I had a burger (excellent burger, one of the better ones I have ever had), chips/fries (good not great) and their macaroni and cheese (amazing, one of the 3-5 best Mac n cheese I have ever had). Overall I would come here again for a burger and macaroni and cheese.

6oz medium rare, juicy plain hamburger - - enough said. Get your hamburger craving groove on....oh, also tried the veggie burger, also tasty. Went in for weekday lunch around 12:30p and there was no line. Fast, friendly service. No hassle and no grief if you don't order fries.

I don't like going to chain restaurants - would prefer to stick to independent restaurants without a cookie-cutter menu and supplier. But, my friend said Byron Burgers are REALLY good... sigh ... so alright, off I went.. and it was definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. The price is a bit steep: I got the Byron Burger for £9.75, which has bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and special sauce. If you want fries, its an extra...£3-3.50? The burgers will make you plenty full, so if you do want fries, its best to share. They ask you how you want your patty done, which I got a bit weirded out by since I felt that minced meat should always be cooked through and not served anything less than that. But I asked for medium rare, and it was fantastic! Melt in your mouth patty, I just wolfed this thing down. Chips - they're chips! can't go wrong.. but a bit steep Coleslaw - good, would rather get this than chips Onion Rings - nothing to rave about Mac N Cheese - didn't suck, but definitely had better elsewhere. The burger was heaven, but was it worth £9.75.... its a bit pricey. I would expect some really kick-ass toppings for that price. Next time, I will also ask if I can replace the cheddar cheese with something else like a blue cheese. or Monteray Jack. Hope they don't charge for a substitute, esp since they have a "pick your own cheese" burger. Still - 2 thumbs up.

Walking through Covent Garden in mid Feb, we stumbled on this "burger restaurant" Burgers were yummy, School type tables/desks were fun and the waiting staff were helpful and friendly. reasonably priced too.

A great little restaurant, which delivered on taste and service. Burgers cooked well, with just the right amount of filling and sauce and the strawberry milkshake was divine - real bits of strawberries in the shake which made it über strawberry in flavour. The mac and cheese and homemade chips were delish! Give me more! Service was great - prompt and efficient and we were shown to a table straight away. Would return for more burger juiciness!

I like Byron's for the most part. The burger's are okay, and the rolls are excellent. Fries tend to be underwhelming which is sad when you think about how much you pay for the darn things. This particular location is just so DARK inside, which is suprisingly considering that there are windows and I was sitting next to one. It felt like I could barely see inside. Yet, the people who work at this location were SO outstandingly friendly while I was there, I felt like I was back in Midwest USA! It was really nice to have someone sincerely seem to want to provide a great service. It made me give an extra star on the whole experience.

For vegetarians there is the portebello burger. Burgers don't come with sides or fries, that's extra. That said, I ordered a Cobb salad and it was massive and delicious and so filling! crisp juicy lettuce, spinach, chargrilled chx, crispy and chewy bacons, creamy avocado. I skipped the blue cheese and subbed with a grano padano. I didn't even need to dress it. It was that delicious. AND MASSIVE (did i mention it already?) It was bigger than my face. Go for Croquettes fries if you like your fried zucchini which was yummmmm. Fries are stringy ones and you couldn't go wrong with it. Busy, loud, great service. Will come back again.

As far as burger restaurants go this one is defiantly up there. The service is super speedy but you're not given the impression they want you out of there as soon as you finish. I had the chicken burger and my partner had the bacon burger and they were both excellent burgers. The price was reasonable for central London and if I'm in the area and in the mood for a burger it will defiantly be stopping back in.

The Byron Burger at Byron comes down to simple execution. The Byron Sauce is salty and tangy and the beef I ordered was cooked a juicy medium. The bun is soft and savory and complements the cured bacon. Melted mature cheddar holds it all together and a classic combination of tomato, lettuce, pickle, and red onion top it off. Finely tuned ingredients and complementary pairings of sweet, salty, and savory along with a good texture make each make you hope it is not the last.

I've been to Byron a few times but never to this particular branch in Covent Garden. They specialise in burgers and they do a pretty good job of it as I have always enjoyed what I have ordered. On this particular occasion I had the Byron Bacon burger which was very tasty. The service was very good and this has always been the case with any of my visits. My only criticism/feedback is there is no drink included in the kids menu and on the main menu there are no fries included with the burgers. Surely this is a popular combo (ie burger and fries) and adding them together would give customers more value for money. Lastly, I would have no hesitation in recommending Byron to friends, family & strangers!

I would recommend coming here if you have a lot of time and are not in a rush. We made a reservation for 6:00pm and were seated at 6:05. We placed the order at 6:15 and did not receive our food until 7:00! Considering that we had to go to a show at 7:30, we really were not able to enjoy our meal. The food was good, and the staff was helpful in giving us recommendations of what to order. However, we were given no notice of why it took SO long for our food to come out.

After to being to quite a few 'gourmet' burger restaurants I was a little hesitant that this was going to be just another disappointment. But I can honestly say that everything was fantastic. The burger was just as good as some of the burger joints back home (USA), and the accompanying beers and bourbon hit the spot. Sure, it was a little expensive but my partner and I felt that the burger, beer and bourbon deal that came under £15 was pretty good value, especially in central London. The service was fantastic and our waitress was knowledgeable on which drinks were good paired up together. We will definitely be returning!

After playing tourist for an afternoon my husband I wanted some place to sit and enjoy a nice quick lunch. We found Byron and was seated soon enough without having to wait. Sweet. The restaurant has very high ceilings and very open, which is great for people watching. The only unsavory sight was seeing a waiter's butt crack here and there. Why did he bother to wear a belt and not cinch it enough to do its job is beyond me. Hmm...I digress. We ordered a hamburger, onion rings and mac and cheese. The hamburger had a great smoky flame broiled taste. Very yum. The batter on the onion rings was crispy but not flimsy and falling apart. But the rings could have stood to be less oily. As for the mac and cheese...*drum roll* It was okay. Nothing much to write home or here about. It was cheesy but not creamy. And everyone knows mac and cheese has to be both! So I would go back for the burger. Definitely one of the better burgers I've had since moving here.

Fun and quick staff, delicious sauces and burgers that can make a person weep. I hope this place does not change. I have had a number of their menu items, yeah somehow I can still walk, and have found each to be a good decision. I will point out the super thin chips are a bit of a waste for me. It is almost like a unhelpful game of pick-up sticks when trying to eat them. The rosemary addition is close to useless. three tiny leaves of rosemary on one chip is a little far from the advertisement. That being said, a great place to bring friends, or co-workers, and enjoy a couple of juicy burgers, chips and a shake on the side!

Basically went in to kill a burger craving & it did the job. We each had a cooked to medium emmenthal burger & shared some skin-on french fries. Glass each of malbec because the milkshakes were a 15 minute wait. Service was efficient, no issues. Would return but too many other burger joints in London to try out.

Le Smokey fizzled. My group was looking for affordable options in the Covent Gardens area and chose Byron. The burgers looked interesting and they had a reputation. Le Smokey is their special burger right now and it sounded promising. Smoky bacon, smoked chili bbq sauce, crispy onion rings, Scottish beef. Well, the delivered burger didn't match my expectations. First, the bacon was waffish and translucent. Whatever flavor that bacon may have offered was swallowed up by the tasty crispy onions. Also, I ordered the burger medium well and it ranged, left to right, from medium well to medium rare. I never saw a burger that inconsistently done before. On a more positive note, they do good pickling.

Great burgers and drinks. The location is big, clean and spacious with two floors and plenty of bathrooms. I liked the booth tables as they were next to the large windows which allowed you to get fresh air on such a hot day. We ordered regular cheeseburgers, the ronaldinho burger and chicken burger which we were all very happy with. Not bad for being in London.

Byron is awesome. I got a nine of hearts here, some courgette fries, and a mature cheddar burger. I even read the little story about the founder that restaurants really love writing about and it resonated with me in mind and stomach. Thanks Byron youre the real MVP.

We came here to eat from the USA! The burgers were very tasty, the drinks were great and well priced. The fries were crispy and delicious. Overall, amazing service and a great place to stop for a bite to eat!

Was looking for an inexpensive burger joint and happened upon Byron. We were seated immediately and quickly received our pitcher of water. We ordered the Halloumi fries, fried pickles, and the nuggets (decided to forego the burger). Everything was amazing! The chicken nuggets were delicious and the BBQ sauce was great. The fried pickles and Halloumi fries contained the perfect ratio of breading to cheese/pickles. They were fantastic. £14 for all of it, which seemed like a great deal to me. We will definitely be returning.

Really solid chicken sandwich and burger. they also have a good selection of craft beer (gamma ray was on the list when i was there).

Byron gets the burger chain formula totally right. Quality meat, reasonable price, with enough originality on the menu and in the venue design to make it feel different from the next place. Is it going to blow you away for being a high class, unique, sense-busting culinary experience? No, but it doesn't need to - because it's strength is when you want to keep things simple, easy and cheap. A tip: go or the courgette fries - they're delicious.

They hugely messed up our orders and offered us free burgers on the house the next time we wanted to visit. Four stars for knowing how to rectify a bad customer experience.
