"C Fruit Life is best known for something it calls a snowdae: Fruit-flavored shaved ice, served with fresh fruit. Try the strawberry snowdae, which is adorned with slices of various mixed fruit." - Terrence Doyle

This place has unique Asian desserts that are mostly fruit-themed. We had mango sago with shaved ice and some type of fruit pudding with fresh fruit and black sticky rice. This area of Brighton has a lot of similar dessert places which we noticed while walking around.

I came here for dessert after dinner and saw good reviews here. I ordered the Sea Coconut Lotus Bowl, and it tasted horrible. The lotus seed is not fresh, and the chances of it being bad is very high. The snow fungus was also does not taste like it was cooked. The sea coconut was probably out of a can. The soup itself, it tasted like they used rock sugar and melted it and then mixed all the ingredients together. Overall, I will not recommend this place to anyone. Please make these desserts correctly, if you continue to offer these types of desserts to the public.

Google
new founddd fav dessert place. Especially for someone who loves fruits. They have a lot of variety to choose from. Strawberry pochette just melted in the mouth. Black sesame ice cream was new and interesting flavour . Mango sago was 8/10. Loved the grass jelly with condensed milk along with mocha ice cream☺️

Google
great dessert place!! Love the variety of menus and array of available toppings. The place is not so big but when we went there were several seats available. The service is relatively fast and nice. They also sell small bites and foot items but I think they are more well known for their desserts. Nothing to go wrong here- recommend it as a staple dessert spot in Allston :)

Google
I made a mistake by stopping at this place after dinner. I ordered the spheres edge. Not only did it take over 20 mins to make, it tasted like cold mash potatoes. On top of that, the employee had AirPods on and could not hear that I was asking for her. Do not recommend plenty of other options in the area.

Google
Really unique place! I tried: 1. Longan, date, wolfberry (goji berry), tremella soup with a side of lotus and sea coconut (also called Lodoicea or Coco de Mar), 2. Strawberry Pochette: basically a crepe with strawberry and ricotta (if I had known that I would have foregone, as I know what those things taste like). 3. Papaya coconut 🥥 milk with Sago (other names are saksak, rabia and sagu: an extract of palm stems and a staple in New Guinea and the Maluku Islands 4. Mango pizza with fresh mango and mango jam, mozzarella, and mayonnaise on top (that part sounded gross but it was so tasty). The fruit soups were not cheap, but they were so tasty, and I don’t know where else you can try this variety of vegetation! No parking right out front, but there is street parking all along other streets. Fully accessible but the door is insanely heavy to open so I asked for help. Sadly no bathroom!!! Most of the ordering is done on your phone with a QR code associated with each table.

Google
Well lit, good unique options for shaved ice. They had a QR code for menu and ordering at each table. It was easy to order. I wish they gave more napkins though cuz they gave only one when they did bring 3 spoons for the group (so gave 4/5). They also call shaved ice 'snowdae' which I thought was cool. Tried the new Matcha coconut and it was very good. It had decent amount of fresh Fruit, and a good blend of both Matcha and coconut flavors. Enjoyed it very much. Also not too sweet which is important for me. Good sitting area to share and chat. Bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Will likely be visiting again to try other products. Had a good experience.

Google
The mangoe sundae is what we got. It was pretty good. Grapefruit however, doesn't complement the mango flavor. It was a bit of a weird combination. That said, it was a fun dessert. They also gave us a sampler of a new flavor they're coming out with, pineapple.

Sophia C.

Yelp
Will forever get my shaved ice from here, was smooth and buttery-like! I didn't consider myself a huge fan of shaved ice but this place changed my perspective. WIDE range of flavors, highlighting mostly fruit-flavored options (which I absolutely live for). If you had to compare, it doesn't have as many savory options as Meet Fresh does but their list of ranged options overrode that issue for me. The shaved ice is truly shaved, not some crunchy cubes making me beg for a dentist appointment the next day, so that was a huge plus. They may have had physical menus but it was digital ordering for the most part (could still order at the register). I shared it with a friend and it was the perfect size for a post-meal dessert. The topics included fresh-cut mangos, mango-bursting tapioca, marshmallow panda, and some grapefruit sprinkles on top (we had lychee jelly add-on). Will absolutely come back again!!!

Yelp
I'm so glad that a friend introduced me to C Fruit Life a few years ago. I never thought of myself as a big dessert fan but after coming to C Fruit Life, I've changed my mind. If I'm eating in the Allston area and have room for dessert, I make a point to stop by C Fruit Life to wrap up the night. The mango snowdae is my favorite. It's rich and flavorful without being overly sweet and comes with different toppings that help to complement the flavor. I've tried similar desserts at other restaurants around the US but none have come close to C Fruit Life's and tend to taste more watery. The shop is a seat yourself with a handful of small tables throughout. It is always busy, especially at night so seating might be tight or you may need to wait a little bit for a table but it's worth it. FOOD: 8.5/10 SERVICE: 8/10 RECOMMENDATION: This is a spot better suited for small groups since seating can get tight.

Jenny X.

Yelp
Overall a cute little dessert place but not my favorite! Good: - We got the strawberry slush dessert and the fruit it came with like the strawberries were nice but the slush itself was like way too sweet - Nice interior and place to sit with friends - Unique desserts on the menu Bad - Took a while for the dessert to come back Overall not too impressed since I feel like I would not come again.

Adam R.

Yelp
The prices here are fair and there are plenty of options on the menu. The staff are very friendly too. I had blueberry ice cream. It was refreshing and tasty, but had a bit of an artificial taste to it. There was fruit added to, which did seem fresh. I'll go here again, but will check out places as well before I make it a regular destination.

Lilian Z.

Yelp
Had the mango bingso and it was great! It's a fluffier way to enjoy ice cream and provides a more satisfying texture. Included toppings are also tasty (aloe jelly, popping boba, fresh mango). Prices are a bit high but portions are pretty large and there is a 10% discount for students which is a nice touch.

Yu Y.

Yelp
I didn't realize how big the mango shaved ice was going to be or I would have ordered just one to split with my friend. The mango itself was sweet and the shaved ice was very fluffy. They have a wide variety of hot and cold desserts including some interesting ones like Durian Cheese Pizza which we did not try. The shaved ice came out quickly and came with color changing spoons which was fun. The spoons went from pink to blue depending on temperature. It wasn't too busy when I went very chill place to hang out.

Alyanna T.

Yelp
My partner and I shared a mango snowdae - TASTE: 5/5 - this dessert was honestly pure perfection lol. Strong mango flavor in the shaved ice, as well as the mango boba, chunks of cut mango, and lychee jelly. Would come back to try more! TEXTURE: 5/5 - a balanced variety between the folds of shaved ice (which didn't melt quickly) and popping boba PRICE: 4/5 - item was only $8.99 on the menu SERVING SIZE: 5/5 - larger than we expected! A great mountain to share SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 3pm on a Sunday and all of the tables were full. Browsed the menu book on the counter, and realized there's a $15 minimum for credit cards, so I'm glad I had cash handy ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - small space w maybe 20 seats available PARKING: 4/5 - got a metered spot around the corner on Harvard Ave

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Still one of my favorite shaved ice spots in the area. I got the small sized durian and it's enough for a quick dessert for two :)

Joy G.

Yelp
I'm a fiend for Asian desserts and love anything with mango sago involved. We came here after a soup dumpling dinner a few doors down. Not a ton of seating inside and people generally tend to hang out with their friends; we came during the after-dinner dessert rush but were able to grab a four-seater. (Also, please clean up after yourselves and put away your napkins/plates for the next group! There's even a pretty visible sign posted on the wall asking people to do this. The two people who used the table before us were getting up/putting on their coats, saw us wandering over, and blatantly left their mountain of used napkins and plates sitting there. I really should have said something to them. Please don't be these people.) We ordered four desserts, which ended up being the right amount, since the portions aren't super big. We got the mango snowdae and mango sago, the black sesame soup, and the mango pouchette (which were these fat chunks of mango surrounded by cream and an egg wrapper). My favorite was the warm black sesame soup - not sugary at all, full of beautiful toasted nutty flavor. Just beware that your teeth and mouth may look a little scary afterwards. Menu has a ton of other options: smoothies, pizzas, coconut desserts, papaya bowls, and shaved ice. Parking is notoriously bad in this area. Try Commonwealth for metered options.

Amber C.

Yelp
My favorite go-to dessert place in Boston/Allston! I'm always craving their mango shaved ice after eating out in Allston. It's just the right amount of light and flavorful and refreshing after dinner. Granted, I don't think this is necessarily the *best* dessert place I've ever been to, but I'm giving it a 5 stars because it's the best option in my opinion amongst the other dessert options in this area :) We love the mango shaved ice, mango pochettes (thin crepe outside with cream and delicious mango inside), and some of the warm desserts too! Only downsides are they dont take card under either $10 or $15 so bring cash or order a few more items! Street parking as always around the Allston area.

Kristyn C.

Yelp
I'm absolutely obsessed with C Fruit Life! I often make a point to stop by and order the mango snowdae whenever I'm in the Allston area. I've tried to order equivalent dishes in other major cities across North America and none have come close to how much I like C Fruit Life's. The only potential downside is that the shop is quite small and, more often than not, incredibly busy meaning it can be tough to grab a spot to sit - especially for larger parties. However I've never had to wait too long to grab a table as turnaround time is pretty quick.

Annie C.

Yelp
It's so freaking cold in here. Like legitimately really cold for no reason. And then you come in for shaved ice, and it's honestly so intolerable. The space is very cute though and well decorated. I really enjoyed the various ingredients and freshness of this mango shaved ice. Unfortunate that I couldn't enjoy it more. The spoons are also very fun.

Katie H.

Yelp
I'm hooked on the mango shaved ice here! It's really delicious, especially with all the toppings. It's never icy, and the mango flavor doesn't taste artificial either. My husband also really enjoyed his matcha shaved ice, while my friend's husband loves the durian flavor. Parking is a hassle, and there aren't a lot of tables here but we've honestly never had to wait long here, at least on a weeknight. It can be a little pricey, but shaved ice always is. The atmosphere is pretty bare bones with tables questionably clean at times. That's the main thing that would really improve this place. Regardless, this will continue to be a regular for us after dinner in Allston!

Ann C.

Yelp
This is a Chinese dessert spot in Allston that is a must-try if you've never had these types of treats before! It's counter service, seat yourself, and someone brings your order to you. There are plenty of seating options for groups of 2-4 (5 or 6 if you squeeze into a booth). Our favorites are the mango pouchettes (fresh mango wrapped in a light cream and a cream cheese skin) and the black & brown (black sesame soup + chestnut soup, a warming hot dessert for winter). Their menu is extensive and also features shaved ice, traditional dessert soups, some strange pizza combinations, and lots of smoothies/drinks.

Andy N.

Yelp
Cute cafe vibes with a wide menu full of delicious treats. The price is unbeatable from other dessert places I've been to. The shaved ice is delicious and the toppings are perfect. Only con is that there's a $15 minimum for card transaction, but otherwise, I would 100% recommend this place for an affordable, delicious sweet treat

Sierra H.

Yelp
A great spot to drop in for a delicious dessert in Allston. The menu is extensive and has something for almost any taste. You order at the counter and seat yourself. We ordered the mango snowdae and the peach gum in papaya bowl. The mango snowdae is a fluffy mountain of shaved ice topped with popping mango boba, lychee jelly, and fresh mango pieces. It's a large portion and great for sharing. The peach gum in papaya bowl is served warm and comes with a small pitcher of cream on the side. This not-too-sweet dessert is a comforting classic.

Gloria H.

Yelp
I hadn't been to C Fruit Life in 5 years, so I was happy to see that it was still bustling with customers. The interior is very welcoming with cute fruits painted on the walls. Ordering is done through a QR code on your table. The prices seemed pretty reasonable -- you could get a single serving shaved ice for around $6. We got the mango snowdae for 2 people ($12.45 before taxes). The portion size is quite generous -- we probably would've been satisfied sharing a single serving. I thought the default choice of toppings was great -- lychee jelly, mango popping boba, pomelo, and mango chunks. The mango was tender but a bit sour, and the shaved ice had a mango flavor. This dessert was not too sweet, but also not as refreshing as I was expecting. The ice, while finely shaved, ends up being a bit clumpy/dry in the mouth. I enjoyed the pomelo, popping boba, and lychee jelly. Overall this is a really pleasant place to get dessert, and has good price points. I probably wouldn't get the mango snowdae again, but maybe I'd try a drink!

Pete D.

Yelp
Decent desserts. The snowdae is like a snow ice but more milky vs icy. The kiwi smoothie was a little plain but looked like it was made with real kiwi. They've got some very interesting looking pizzas on the menu which we didn't try.

Mark L.

Yelp
Mango coconut jelly dessert was delicious. There chewy coconut gum with very flavorful coconut blend ice and fresh sweet mango. Absolutely splendid! Papaya coconut with grass jelly - coconut flavor blast off! If you like coconut, you will be happy. I would say more papaya will fit the title more. Coconut taste dominated papaya. Mango coconut blast was also very good. I'm very impressed with the quality. It's now my official favorite dessert place in Boston.

Tulsa H.

Yelp
Decent dessert food place in the area. They have a wide variety of selection to choose from -- see their famous album of menu items. We are regulars here.

Tessa L.

Yelp
Love this place! Coconut and mango fusion 5/5 fruit mix grass jelly 5/5 Gone here many times and have always loved their desserts! They have a wide selection of sweet items as well as interesting savory items like durian pizza. I'm always impressed at how their desserts with fruits are paired so well that the fruit is not sour in comparison to the ice cream and jellies. The fruit is always perfectly ripe and desserts end up being a good level of sweetness. There's a decent amount of seating, but the place is typically quite busy when I've gone in the evening. There have been a couple times where I've had a short wait before I was able to get seating, but service is good. You can place your order at the counter when you arrive and find a place to sit or take a menu back to your seat to view the selections before ordering at the counter. The place itself is quite lively and has a nice atmosphere to catch up with people. Street parking only.

Jackie S.

Yelp
My friends recommended I try this place, and I'm glad glad that they did! Immediately upon entering the atmosphere was very fun and trendy. In addition the staff was friendly. It had an interesting menu ranging from pizza to shaved ice. We stopped in after dinner and had shaved ice (both the taro and mango). Both were light, delicious, and refreshing on a hot summer day. Parking in the area was a little tricky, however worth it

Cynthia L.

Yelp
Came here after doing some research for a Hong Kong based dessert shop. First off, the shop is pretty pleasant. It's clean, spacious, and ordering is easy since you just go up to the counter to order. The lady working at the cash register was awesome and sweet since we had never been prior. She was so patient. My bf and I ended up getting a mango sago dessert and the taro snowdae. The taro snowdae (basically Korean bingsu) was really good and the size is big enough to share between two people. With the fresh fruit paired up, it was delicious. The mango "winter snowball" falls short...somehow I assumed it would be more liquid from the picture but instead it was like...snow cone texture bottom? The fruit and ice cream were good but I did wish it was a bit more "soup" consistency as is the original version of this. So while this place does have a lot of Hong Kong style desserts, it also has a couple of Korean style desserts as well as things like Creme Brulee. Would I go back? Maybe? But otherwise, it's good to try once.

Julia Z.

Yelp
4.5/5 As my friend says, "If anyone visits Boston, I bring them to C Fruit Life." I've been here several times already and they never miss! Highly recommend getting anything mango flavored - it's always so fresh and sweet. It's a really great spot for Asian fresh fruit desserts. My favorite items that I've tried are the Mango Snowdae (very soft and fluffy, comes with sides of fresh mango, lychee jelly, and mango pop boba; enough for 2-3 people to split; not too sweet) and the mango sago with grapefruit (fresh, refreshing, and the grapefruit pieces add a nice texture without being bitter like grapefruit usually is). The mango pochettes are pretty decent, I wish the crepe had a slightly sweeter or mango flavor to it. The mango piece inside is always fresh. Very light and fluffy! The dessert pizza is interesting; definitely something to try once in your life for the experience but not a repeat item. It has a nice mango jam underneath the cheese which adds a nice sweetness. Everything is also very affordable! If you get one thing (like the shaved ice), it'll be usually less than $10. They have a $15 card minimum though, so make sure you bring cash!

Lani L.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, and each time it has been a good experience. It's a cafe-style service where you order at the front and pick it up at the front to your table yourself. The booths are comfortable to sit for a while as you wait for your brain-freeze to calm down. They also have these special spoons that change color when it touches something cold, which is really cool. I order mango sago and mango snowdaes when I go with my friends - I've haven't tried much else because I know these are good. Refreshing, not overly sweet, and quite generous with their portions. I have tried durian sago, but I think the portions were smaller.

Clarissa B.

Yelp
I've come here over and over and over again and each time the fruit is literally the freshest I've had to behold in my entire life. I don't know how they get such high quality fruit and can have such consistency, but this place is literally better than the freshness of Michelin tier desserts. They also make things pretty fast (unless it's one of their pizzas or hot soups, because they make everything fresh). Regardless, I've tried their mango and durian pochettes, mango smoothie, black pepper beef pizza (wow for it being not a pizza focused place their pizza is so good, such a pleasant surprise), several of their puddings and more nostalgic red bean, taro, sago soups. They're so good I don't actually think these desserts would be any better if I went to a formal dessert restaurant or renowned dessert stall in HK. I have pivotal memories sitting with my cousins around midnight in Hong Kong at a dessert shop, and while this place isn't open that late, I am continually floored by the quality and nostalgia of their desserts. If you're Cantonese this place is awash in memories of familiarity - if you're from elsewhere, it's a great place to get a taste of HK in a conventionally palatable way. I'm moving in a few weeks back to NYC and am gutted to know that I can't just stop by anymore. This is one of those places that I will travel to!

Daniella B.

Yelp
The service was wonderful and I loved the food! The ambience was quiet. There was not many people and no loud music which was nice. Me and my friend went and I got the winter snowball. The mango was so fresh and sweet and the ice cream and slush were so yummy. I liked the rice balls with the slush. My friend got the taro snowdae and it was so good! The taro was so flavorful and it came with fruit and 2 rice balls! The only thing was that it's pricy. The winter snowball was almost 10 dollars which as a student, is not something I can purchase as much. I loved it there and is great to go every once in a while!

Kenneth M.

Yelp
Edit: The owner responded to my review and made things right. I'm a happy customer. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, stick to stuff other than red bean. I'm absolutely disgusted and furious with the smoothie I received from this place! I ordered a red bean sago smoothie, expecting a delicious and refreshing treat. What I got instead was a SOUR, spoiled mess! The flavor was off from the first sip--clearly, this smoothie had gone bad. It tasted like it had been sitting out for days. To make matters worse, I offered the manager an opportunity to make another one or to refund my order, and he flat out told me that there are no refunds or exchanges. This is unacceptable customer service. They have zero interest in correcting their mistakes or ensuring customer satisfaction.

Dannie W.

Yelp
Came back for their mango snowdae. It's very good for sure compared to the ones I tried in other places. The ordering is convenient. Just scan the code, order and pay via phone.

Juhye K.

Yelp
One of my favorite little dessert spots in allston. Especially love their crystal bubble harbor - if you're a fan of coconut milk/ice and grass jelly, this is the pick for you. Sweetened with some condensed milk and texturally enhanced with sago, it's the perfect little (but filling) sweet treat. Their mango sago and pudding with the black sticky rice are also delicious!

Gloria H.

Yelp
I stopped by here with a party of 5 on a Friday night during prime time (after dinner). The dining room seems small from the outside, but actually has a decent amount of seats. It's a bit cramped, so I feel like it was a little bit on the noisier side. The staff was very friendly but I feel like they could have done a bit more in controlling the seating chaos. You order at the counter and it's pretty much self seating, but with table service after your initial order. It was a bit confusing. This was a non-issue for us as my party isn't afraid of confrontation or speaking up, but I can see this being awkward for a lot of people. From my perspective, it didn't bother me enough to deduct any stars. My party had been waiting on a table that was getting ready to leave - when they finally did, we were waiting for the staff to clean the table. While we were standing in the middle of the small dining room area, a new party of 4 walked in, shoved past us, and tried to seat themselves at said table. We immediately spoke up and let them know we had been waiting on that table for some time, which they were visibly and audibly annoyed with and immediately left. Initial seating and ordering aside, we had a great time and the desserts were fantastic. We had just spent the last day and a half binging on ramen for the Boston Ramen Crawl T_T so this was a much needed change of pace. I'm not huge on very sweet desserts, and I feel like the menu had a very good variety of items ranging different levels of sweetness. Nothing we ordered disappointed. I'd definitely come back again, but if your party is larger than 4, I'd be a little wary about seating during prime times on the weekend. I want to iterate again that the service was phenomenal. The one person who ran the entire floor by herself somehow managed to stay friendly and cheerful the entire time we were there, all the while taking orders, serving dishes, and bussing the tables. She really made the experience even better, I didn't get her name but she made small talk with a lot of the patrons, including our party. It's always nice to feel welcomed when you dine out, even for a casual dessert spot. The Mango Pochette is both airy and creamy - the perfect dessert for after a heavy meal (thanks ramen crawl -_-) The Crispy Milk Cake is exactly what you'd expect from crispy milk - a nice crispy outside with a lovely creamy filling. The Winter Snowball is a really nice mix of texture, but I think it was a tad on the sweeter side for me. The mochi really helped round out the sweetness though. The Snow White Harbor had a bit too much of the ice cream for me, so if you like ice cream, this is for you. The Sphere' Edge is a fantastic choice if you're looking for something to warm your belly and not too sweet. The Sweetie is a great balance of sweet and savory - the mochi is the perfect consistency! The Fruit Mix and Pudding combo is refreshing. The Mango slushee is delicious and I could probably drink it straight.

Alex L.

Yelp
Love the desserts and have come back time and time again! Got the mango snowdae this time, but have also tried the durian poachette (I love durian), taro snowdae, and black sesame soup. Everything is not too sweet and I have only positive things to say :)

Kelly C.

Yelp
Stopped by for some dessert and oh my gosh the mango snowdae is soo tasty! It's made of a hill of mango shaved iced with sides of freshly cut mango, mango popping boba, and lychee jelly. The mango shaved ice is drizzled with mango purée. Ugh, it's a mango heaven!!! Absolutely loved the different textures and varieties of mango. The lychee brings a burst of sweetness and a tiny bit of tartness to mix. So delicious, we left no crumbs! Highly recommend! Service is pretty fast here and it does get pretty crowded. Take out is an option, but you won't get the same amount unfortunately. So definitely try to grab a place to sit if possible. It's usually pretty busy here with some good music playing in the background. The perfect spot for a nice little catch me up with friends or just grabbing some dessert after a date night around the city!

Fiona W.

Yelp
Best shaved ice / bingsu in the area! We ordered the Mango and Strawberry Snowdae. I'd give the Mango Snowdae a 5/5. There was a reasonable amount of toppings, fresh fruit, and a perfect balance of creamy and ice. The mango flavor was so delicious. The Strawberry Snowdae on the other hand was not my favorite. I did not particularly enjoy the strawberry flavor. However, again, there was a reasonable amount of toppings and fresh fruit. Service was good. The snowdaes were ready quick. I'd definitely come back again and hope to try more flavors!

Jeff H.

Yelp
They have one of the best Mango Sago in Boston and friendly customer service! The restaurant is kept clean and fruits are always fresh.

vickie w.

Yelp
Cute dessert place with cool spoons! We tried the matcha snowdae and the sweetie. Both were excellent and not too sweet. I liked the matcha flavor and the pieces of fresh fruit in the snowdae. The mochi in the sweetie was perfectly chewy. The cold snowdae and the hot sweetie were ideal for our spoons! They have nice seating, comfy chairs inside and when we went it wasn't too busy. Service was efficient. Overall, seems like a great place to hangout for dessert after dinner or for an afternoon snack! I'm looking forward to coming back to try some of their other items!

Nicole L.

Yelp
I absolutely love c fruit. This place really is my go to place for dessert after any meal. My favorite dessert here is the mango snowdae. The mango tower of goodness is so tasty and has such a strong mango flavor. I love the additions of the toppings which add wonderful texture.

Yi H.

Yelp
Also 10/10 taste and service A cute sit down place for fruity desserts. their durian flavored items are always soo on point, if you're a durian love you must come! I've gotten many things here but my favorites are the snowdaes and sagos.

Moose M.

Yelp
Went here about a year ago--what amazing desserts! Delicious mango desserts. Can't wait to go back.

Kelly Z.

Yelp
Spacious, lots of seating and good for bigger groups. Fresh fruit and mango themed desserts. I got the mango pochette but it isn't as good as other mango pancakes that I've tried, just because or the small mango to cream ratio and how the cream coats the roof of your mouth and leaves and uncomfortable sensation. Fruit voyage was refreshing but overpriced.

Yu Ya H.

Yelp
How did I not think of trying this place every time I'm in Allston?? I love all the desserts I tried out. The portions are big - you can easily share one snowdae (shaved ice) among two and still be full. Their menu has A LOT OF options and all the photos really help. We got mango sago float, matcha snowdae and durian pochette. Everything was remarkably good. For durian lovers, durian pochette actually has a lot of durian inside than I expected! I will definitely go there again to try more especially in summer. There are also ample amount of indoor seating inside.

Tony T.

Yelp
We got the Mango & Durian Snowdae and the Sweetie. The portions are very generous for the price. The shaved snow was very creamy which I loved; I prefer this over shaved ice which usually starts tasting bland once you eat away the outer layers. Everything we got was good, but the Mango Snowdae was my favorite. I would definitely come back to try other flavors.

Gennie L.

Yelp
C Fruit Life is a great Asian dessert place! I ordered the mango and coconut slush and it was $5.99. It was so worth it for the size I got! The coconut was on the top and the mango was on the bottom. There were also mango chunks at the very bottom of the drink! The sweetness level was just right. It was sweet but not too sweet. C Fruit Life also has shaved ice; I'll definitely need to try it next time! The down side about this dessert place is that credit cards require a minimum $10 purchase. C Fruit Life is located in Allston, MA near many other super dope restaurants and dessert places! Check out C Fruit Life if you're in Allston! Overall rating: 10/10

Yelp
Kind staff great flavor! Ordered the mango and taro snowdaes. Would recommend getting toppings on the side since it's less room for the snow dae. Fresh fruit was tasty and didn't melt so fast, wish it was a bigger serving for the price. Would also recommend ordering takeout as the seats aren't so comfortable. Taro tastes nutty and not too artificial. Mango tasted great too but a little artificial.

Yelp
I bought the Mango Sago and Mongo Mango Pochette which I have bought multiple times this past few months. Today was the first time I experienced any issues in where I found multiple pieces of hard plastic in it. On the smaller pieces I bit down and now my tooth really hurts. If I didn't notice the bigger piece I probably could have choked. I called the store multiple times, but no one was picking up. I hope this review can get there attention and have them notice this issue.

Yelp
This is the place to be when you're craving dessert! The menu has so much variety and you can't just pick one thing to try. I love going here with friends and ordering a bunch of new things to try. The staff are super friendly here and treat customers really well. The most recent time I was there, my party of three ordered the Mango Pochette, Double Layer Milk Pudding, and two plates of the Crispy Milk Cake! I always get the Crispy Milk Cake whenever I'm here. Everything was so good and was the perfect end to the night.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best dessert places to check out in Boston. Their snowdae/bingsoo is sooo refreshing and creamy and great to enjoy with friends. Their service is quick and it's great to sit and enjoy your desserts there in the shop. Great place to also hang and chat with friends. I also really love their papaya smoothie with sago and mango coconut with sago drinks! They're definitely a spot worth checking out.

Yelp
This is always my go to place for some good shaved snow! They also have so many desserts to choose from that it's always so hard not to over order! I love their snowdaes especially their mango one! This time I got the blueberry one and it was also very yummy! I also got one of their mango desserts and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth! It's a cute little place so it can be hard to get a table on a busy night!

Yelp
Very cute store, good service, and nice and creamy shaved ice. The mango flavor is strong and the toppings add to the dish nicely
