Ca' Bonfadini

The bathroom and toilet spaces were very small, and far too tight for five star luxury or comfort. The room's furniture and orientation was not optimal to maximize the floor layout and take advantage of the canal side windows. The cleaning services did not replace all hand towels and wash clothes upon cleaning. The breakfast did not begin early enough for a departure and travel day and take away options were limited. Not knowing the canal's promenade was under construction was disappointing.

Our family had an amazing stay at Ca Bonfadini. This boutique hotel is gorgeous, in a restored 16th century palazzo. It has so much character and is so beautifully decorated to retain the old world charm. The entire stay was a truly luxurious experience, and staff were all so helpful and amazing. Asia was wonderful, and always had great recommendations for restaurants and experiences, we truly appreciated that! The other staff were wonderful as well and so helpful. The linens, soaps and other amenities were so luxurious, it doesn’t get better than this! Our room was huge, and so beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and gourmet, we loved it. |The only complaint I have is that unfortunately our upstairs neighbors were not very respectful and made a lot of noise late into the night and early morning, making it hard for us to get sleep. But we would still stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Venice. Just bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper like me! Location is amazing, out of the way from all the high traffic areas but close to everything.

Wonderful stay here at the beautiful Ca Bonfadini. The receptionists were always very attentive and ready to serve. They’ve answered all our questions and made reservations for us for restaurants and water taxis. The room was impeccable, comfortable and clean. The showers had the best water pressure in our entire trip through Italy. It was also just a 5 minute walk from the Venice train station which was a major plus because be didn’t have to deal with the water taxi scams outside the station. Truly so happy to have stayed here! Will be suggesting to friends and family!

We would like to thank the whole team for their wonderful hospitality. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. The surroundings are also stunning, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We are truly impressed and highly recommend this place!

We stayed at this hotel for only one night, but we truly enjoyed our experience and would love to return. The only minor downside was that the breakfast could have been a bit more varied, though everything was very tasty. The rooms are beautifully decorated, well-renovated, and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally attentive.

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and we brought my step daughters with us. We booked the Classic Frescoed Suite and it was so gorgeous. Felt like we were in a palace! The front desk staff was really kind and accommodating. They sent us a bottle of champagne and a handwritten note to congratulate us on our first anniversary. They also called water taxis for us anytime that we needed them. Every morning we had breakfast in their restaurant Dama. They had lots of fresh fruit and pastries. Plus you get eggs made to order included with breakfast. Overall a great experience. We would stay here again!

One of the finest hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Management and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay while visiting Venice. The rooms are incredibly luxurious and beautiful. Also found it to be value for Venice. Can’t recommend highly enough - a true 5 star experience.

Excellent location not far from the main routes to San Marco and other key attractions but far enough off the beaten track for a peaceful stay surrounded more by Italians and good eateries. Easy access to water bus and taxis just outside of the hotel. We found the location ideal having stayed several times in Venice in various locations.

Beautiful 5 star hotel in Venice that resonated luxury. The staff members are all very kind and accommodating and even took the time to explain what the city has to offer and how far everything was walking distance. Be aware that it is about a 25 minutes walk to Saint Marks square. The private water taxi can dock right at the front of the hotel so it is very convenient if you don't want to walk or take the public water line. The suite is spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast that we had included was delicious and left us feeling full and satisfied. Definitely will be back again!

We (my wife and I) are traveling through Europe (London, Paris, Roma, Florencia, Madrid, Barcelona and Venezia) and staying in best-rated (Hotels.com) hotels along the way. That said, this hotel was absolutely amazing and it exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay, the staff was amazingly helpful. The location is perfectly situated away from the madness of the throngs of visitors, but yet still close enough for us to walk it all. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended.
