Ca' Bonfadini

Our family had an amazing stay at Ca Bonfadini. This boutique hotel is gorgeous, in a restored 16th century palazzo. It has so much character and is so beautifully decorated to retain the old world charm. The entire stay was a truly luxurious experience, and staff were all so helpful and amazing. Asia was wonderful, and always had great recommendations for restaurants and experiences, we truly appreciated that! The other staff were wonderful as well and so helpful. The linens, soaps and other amenities were so luxurious, it doesn’t get better than this! Our room was huge, and so beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and gourmet, we loved it. |The only complaint I have is that unfortunately our upstairs neighbors were not very respectful and made a lot of noise late into the night and early morning, making it hard for us to get sleep. But we would still stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Venice. Just bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper like me! Location is amazing, out of the way from all the high traffic areas but close to everything.

Wonderful stay here at the beautiful Ca Bonfadini. The receptionists were always very attentive and ready to serve. They’ve answered all our questions and made reservations for us for restaurants and water taxis. The room was impeccable, comfortable and clean. The showers had the best water pressure in our entire trip through Italy. It was also just a 5 minute walk from the Venice train station which was a major plus because be didn’t have to deal with the water taxi scams outside the station. Truly so happy to have stayed here! Will be suggesting to friends and family!

One of the finest hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Management and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay while visiting Venice. The rooms are incredibly luxurious and beautiful. Also found it to be value for Venice. Can’t recommend highly enough - a true 5 star experience.

Overall, our stay was extremely pleasant and exceeded our expectations. The room, service, and amenities were outstanding. However, we did encounter two issues related to our early morning departure for the airport that are worth noting:||1) We were promised a vegetarian boxed breakfast that could include dairy and eggs but no meat. Unfortunately, what we received consisted only of fruit juice, water, a croissant, and two apples—a disappointing contrast to the exceptional breakfast we enjoyed the day before.||2) The day prior to our departure, we were assured that a porter would assist us with our luggage to the designated meeting point for the water taxi, just a three-minute walk from the hotel. However, upon checking out early in the morning, we were informed by the night receptionist that no porter service was available. As a result, we had to manage the walk ourselves. Navigating the uneven cobblestone streets with heavy luggage was quite difficult, especially for my wife, who had a foot injury. Had we known there would be no assistance, we might have considered alternative arrangements, such as staying closer to the airport.||Despite these challenges, the hotel itself was lovely, and we would gladly recommend it—with the caveat that guests departing very early may want to confirm porter and breakfast arrangements in advance.

From the moment we arrived to the final farewell as we departed by water taxi from the front steps, we were graciously and attentively pampered by the exceptional staff. This hotel is not only stunningly restored with incredible attention to its 18th-century heritage, but the service is on a completely different level—elegant, intuitive, and wonderfully anticipatory.||||The staff seemed to know exactly what we needed before we asked—from thoughtful in-room touches to seamless coordination of transportation and dining. Every detail of our stay was meticulously handled, allowing us to simply relax and soak in the beauty of Venice.||||Whether it was the perfectly prepared breakfast, the elegant turn-down service, or the warm smiles from every team member, we felt cared for in the most refined and unobtrusive way.||||If you’re looking for an authentic yet luxurious Venetian experience, Cà Bonfadini is everything you hope for—and more. Top-notch high-end experience at the Ca' Bonfadini, Venice Italy. The staff were very help answering questions about things to do in Venice and were able to help arrange activities. Defiantly a high end hotel. Made my stay at this part of Venice effortless.||||The Location is wonderful and way more quiet than the St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) area. I highly recommend using the Ca' Bonfadini as a base and traveling to St. Mark's Square as you wish as the hotel location has a way more casual and relaxing vibe.

Great hotel in a lovely locale. We stayed in several hotels during our Italian adventure, and this one had the biggest rooms along with the largest showers. A lovely staff and an absolutely killer breakfast. I appreciated it being a bit off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle. That part may not be for everyone, but it worked out splendid for us.

Through we stayed just for one night but we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The hotel is minutes away from the train station and right at the bank of canal offering beautiful views. The staff is courteous and friendly, We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Beautiful 5 star hotel in Venice that resonated luxury. The staff members are all very kind and accommodating and even took the time to explain what the city has to offer and how far everything was walking distance. Be aware that it is about a 25 minutes walk to Saint Marks square. The private water taxi can dock right at the front of the hotel so it is very convenient if you don't want to walk or take the public water line. The suite is spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast that we had included was delicious and left us feeling full and satisfied. Definitely will be back again!

We (my wife and I) are traveling through Europe (London, Paris, Roma, Florencia, Madrid, Barcelona and Venezia) and staying in best-rated (Hotels.com) hotels along the way. That said, this hotel was absolutely amazing and it exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay, the staff was amazingly helpful. The location is perfectly situated away from the madness of the throngs of visitors, but yet still close enough for us to walk it all. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended.
