The food was honestly very delicious, but I have never left a restaurant so frustrated with the staff in all of my life. Absolutely rude. Both the waitress and the woman that brought our food looked pissed to be there. They forgot an entire meal at our table, we waited and waited for it and finally told the rest of the table to eat. Our food came as they were finishing up. I asked for a condiment, she gave me a nearly empty container. Then was so annoyed when we used it all and asked for more. We waited for ages for the check, I went to the front to try to get her attention. Purse in hand, I stood at the counter. She looked dead at me and walked on by. Multiple times. I finally sat back down at my table. She continued to ignore my obvious attempts to catch her attention. I was FUMING at this point. I was ready to walk out. We finally got paid and left. There is so much potential for this restaurant. The atmosphere is fun and the food is actually very delicious! But this service is enough to make me NEVER want to come back.

Great elk bacon burger. Was smoky and tasty. Tasty fries and side salad was very fresh and tasty. Patty melt was also very good. Friendly and attentive service

Ok so on any other day i would give this place 5 stars HANDS DOWN. I recommend this place to everyone and come here at least once a week. However, I came here today (Sunday night around 6pm) and had to sit at the bar because everywhere else was full (that's no big deal, just noting it because I've never sat at the bar here before). The bartenders (2 females) immediately seemed like they were not happy with me and my boyfriend at all. They were rude to us and then immediately turned around and were nice and energetic to the other people at the bar (a big group of older guys, while me and my bf are just a female and male in our lower 20s). I see the bartenders flirting with that group of guys THE WHOLE TIME while practically ignoring us, to the point where they even took shots (of alcohol, while on the job) with this group of men who bought them a round to take with them I guess. No big deal I guess, but just annoying (I guess we're not a part of these particular ladies demographic). AN HOUR after ordering our burgers, which are usually the best burgers that I've ever eaten, our food comes out at the same time as one of these men's food that ordered 5 minutes before it came out (not sure if they forgot about us or what). Well they come out BURNT TO A CRISP. On their menu, it shows their options as "medium or medium well" and these were far past well done and had a thick layer of char all around. These are wagyu burgers that are typically juicy and flavorful, while tonight the burnt burgers were flavorless and dry and tasted nothing like wagyu (that is much more expensive). So I paid $60 for this meal and I've had better burgers at McDonalds. The bartenders saw me/heard me visibly upset talking to my boyfriend about the food and started whispering about us, which is the only time they started to be nice to us (probably to attempt to save their tip, which i still gave them unfortunately). It's sad because I love this place, but I was just too uncomfortable and angry to stand up for myself on this. I just know that these burgers were not up to their standards and I'm disappointed that we got treated like this while in there, but I guess I just didn't want to be seen as a complainer. Definitely was a waste of $60 tonight though.

Google
WARNING, PLEASE READ. HEALTH RISK. Food was actually pretty good, and the wait staff was impeccable. However, my 2 star review is due to the serious lapse of judgment in storing food and drink containers in the male and female restrooms in open boxes. Pictures included. They are both sitting in front of the bathroom stalls in each restroom. I should not need to explain why this is a serious health code violation. I would not eat here again, and I would especially not get take out from here.

The service was great, the food was delicious. I had a chocolate brownie shake and my boyfriend had a jalapeño margarita and they were both sooo good! The food game out quickly and our drinks were never empty. Will definitely be going back!

Google
Came here to celebrate a little, we both ordered margaritas but that wasn’t my bf’s taste so the waitress was nice enough to swap it for a beer, he asked for no mushrooms on his burger and it came out with it, she said she’d bring a new one and then charged us for it without us knowing. we wouldn’t have gotten it if we had known, oh well, the food was delicious regardless and the waitress was super nice! We will probably be back soon :) the pretzel was delicious as well!!

Yummy burgers. Also they have a cool milkshakes. My daughter loves it. Family friendly atmosphere.

Google
Not sure why I came back so many times. Maybe because it’s convenient and close. But I will not ever again. Multiple visits with terrible results. I had to ask for another water because there was a bug in mine. It happens so I wasn’t going to think twice about it. But then the Server delivered my daughters chicken tenders and immediately after she set the plate down I picked up a huge black hair off her chicken (which she watched) and then quickly walked away like she didn’t see it. This place has potential but is clearly disappointing and has a disgusting kitchen staff. DHEC needs to make a pop in visit here to ensure they are following protocol. They are also storing cups and To-Go boxes in the BATHROOMS……

Yelp
What to eat during a gloomy day....comfort food. Decided to stop in for a burger and fried at Cabana burger & Shakes. The place wasn't very crowded because of the stormy weather. The interior was cute and warm. I had the Standard Deluxe Burger and Sweet Potato Fries. Our server was very polite and attentive. The food came out fairly fast. The burger was okay. The brioche bun was a little stale. The sweet potato fries were so good. Next time, I will have to try a shake! I will stop back again to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
We were thrilled a few weeks ago that Cabana Burger was opened for brunch and boy was it delicious! We have always enjoyed eating dinner / lunch but brunch?! Yup definitely worth it.

Yelp
We went there the other night just before closing. All my friends had been there before, and they recommended the brisket quesadilla, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, it didn't fully stick together that welll. It came with a chipotle dipping sauce that was really good. I ended up getting a non-alcoholic drink because I was driving home, but all my friends got some really good drinks like piña coladas and other fruity cocktails. The service was amazing. We had Cindy/ Cynthia, and she was so sweet. She remembered all our names, which was impressive given there were quite a few of us, so shout out to her for doing such a great job.m. We're planning to go on a bingo night, which I think will be a lot of fun. Parking was pretty easy since we arrived around 9 pm when it wasn't too busy. I'm excited to try the chicken salad sandwich next time; our waiter gave me a sample, and it was really good.

Yelp
The best burgers on island! Great atmosphere, friendly service, and ice cream shakes. What more could you ask for?

Currie M.

Yelp
Bad service in an empty restaurant at lunchtime should have been my hint to go somewhere else but limited time caused me to stick it out and order a weird deconstructed entree called cilantro lime shrimp tacos which had neither cilantro nor lime

Yelp
My experience this time was completely different this time. First let me say the ambiance and interior are still awesome. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. The seating is spacious. The service is still outstanding. Our waitress was Priscilla and she was awesome. She was very attentive and prompt. She was polite and professional. Now onto the food. We ordered drinks. A beer and tea. For an appetizer we ordered the Turkey chili nachos. They came out quick and were delicious. There was plenty of toppings and it was constructed nicely with a good amount of toppings spread out on the nachos. For dinner my wife ordered the Farmhouse salad and I ordered the Grilled chicken Caesar. My wife's farmhouse salad was good she said except there were some wilted/spoiled pieces of greens throughout. Not too many and she was able to pick them out. Regardless this is unacceptable. Never ever serve a salad with spoiled greens. The worst part of the mean was my Caesar salad. The Romain that was used was all, and I mean all butt ends of the romaine. I didn't have one piece of dark green romaine. See attached picture. This was served entirely with the stem end of the Romain. Unacceptable. Also my salad came without the Parmesan cheese. I had to ask for it. If I didn't know better the shaved cheese they brought me was a mix of Parmesan, Romano and asiago. Not just Parmesan. Again not acceptable for a Cesar salad. My salad was not cold. It was warm. Like room temperature warm. Not acceptable. They charge $16.50 for a Caesar salad. For that price I had better not get one stem from the romaine lettuce. I am really disappointed in this experience. I do like the place and will be back for burgers but I won't ever order the crap salad again.

Yelp
I'm always here for Mike's Cheese Steak. I love it! But today I decided to take a walk on the Wild Side and ordered Mike's deluxe burger. Incredible! Sitting at the bar( love the bar) the bartender suggested their River Dog's IPA. It was delicious! Happy all around. I love this place!!!

Yelp
Cool atmosphere here at Cabana Burgers and Shakes, great vibe! Outside seating area as well and kid friendly spot!! Full service bar here with 4 large TVs to view sports! Several choices for Milk Shakes!! Here with my SO and we both ordered burgers and onion rings (extra $2) for lunch. We had the single wagyu burger which is 6oz single patty with white American cheese on a brioche bun and the single deluxe burger which is two 4oz patties on a brioche bun and I chose pimento cheese. Oh these burgers did not disappoint, well seasoned meat perfectly cooked, Amazing!! I cannot forget the onion rings are some of the best I had in the Charleston area!! We ran out of gas completely full!! Mark my words we will be back and get some Shakes!! Easy 5 Stars for Cabana Burgers and Shakes Definitely in my Top 5 Burger Spots in the Charleston Tricounty Area!!

Yelp
Second visit and just as good as the first. Food is delicious and service was great. New and relaxing atmosphere; great place to go with friends and/or family.

Yelp
Best burgers in the entire country, even got myself a nice shirt. I'll surely come back again.

Yelp
This was my first visit to this restaurant as we were visiting our children and grands (I love me some of them!). My husband had a break from his work and treated us to lunch, and this was a winner, in my opinion. The atmosphere was laid back, inviting, and kid-friendly! This is always a plus when doing casual dining with children. We were seated immediately and had a pleasant server to take our drink orders. She was friendly and did not hesitate to engage in some light conversation while taking our orders. Loved her and wanted her to be my phone friend! The menu is extensive enough to please all palates. It offers appetizers, burgers, salads, sandwiches, shakes, and adult drinks for those who need something a little stronger. They have fun fare for kids, such as a unicorn milkshake with lollipops and marshmallow candy and a cute rainbow straw keepsake. Sliders, chicken fingers, and grilled cheese are also an option for the "finicky" eaters. The grands chose cheeseburgers w/fries. I chose the Fried Green Tomato BLT, which was delicious. And Popsie chose a cheesesteak. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. In fact, my granddaughters and I were only able to eat half of our meal. Oh, did I mention how incredibly tasty the fries were? YUMMY!! If you're looking for a nice place to enjoy a good meal with excellent service and a warm and inviting atmosphere, this is it.

Yelp
Excellently executed diner food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and clean/well-maintained space. I'd be a regular if I lived in town.

Yelp
Food came out quick and tasted delicious! I was stuffed. Our waiter was sweet and didn't forget a thing. Atmosphere is relaxed, slightly pricey for a burger but good food. Would recommend giving it a try! Only Con: not a fan of the ranch. Maybe try a different sauce for the fries.

Yelp
Wme had our late lunch at Cabana burgers and shake. Although the service was slow due to low kitchen staff the burgers came out really juicy and good. I had brisket burger and switch the horseradish cheddar to ghost pepper cheddar which was super awesome for my palate and my husband had pick your own ingredients for his burger. The burgers were awesome. My kids had grilled cheese, slider, and quesadillas and all came with free drinks and crispy fries... yummm. They all approved this kids meal and I love the crispy fries ya'll! For the shakes we ordered cookies and cream which was okay, salted caramel pretzel which was good, and fruity pebble's shakes which was nah...just okay and wont order it again. Overall we like this place and our server was so nice and very attentive.

Yelp
A one and done for us. Our grandson was craving a burger, so we thought we'd give it a try. We spent $65. for 2 burgers and a child's slider, water to drink. The burgers were way overcooked and dried out. All toppings on a burger are ala carte and extra. I paid for a house sauce but the burger came naked. Short on staff and while our waitress was hustling, she had several tables so I didn't bother her. Not worth a second visit for us.
google avatar

Yelp
Food and shakes were amazing. There was such a good variety of choices on the menu. Service was fantastic considering we attended during a Halloween event. Would go back!

Yelp
We've been here several times and this spot has always been consistently great! Priscilla has always been so friendly to us and our pup & all the other staff + servers we've had have been wonderful and accommodating. Not only is the food delicious (we've had everything from the salads to the wings to the tacos to the sandwiches and apps!), but the outdoor space is a great spot for dogs, kids, watching football or even playing a game of pool.
google avatar

Ken K.

Yelp
Good burgers and fries. Good service with a good menu. All the shakes sounded great! The red wine was tasty. I look forward to my next visit!

Yelp
We came in one night during the week and got sat in a cozy booth. We were craving fried pickles so we got some and It made it so our dinner was a bit too much, but they were good. I got the standard deluxe wagyu thinking that the meat would be extra yummy, but in reality my husband's burger with the double beef patties and fancy bacon was so much better than mine. The fries are battered and extra delicious and I love how they plate their burgers and fries. Just cute all around. Good service, fun spot, can't wait for an excuse to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable at Cabana Burgers. Our server was on top of it and the kitchen staff got our food out fast. We started with a delicious appetizer of corn queso. While the prices are a little high for fast casual burgers, our food came out quickly and correct. The menu offers so much more than burgers including apps, salads and other sandwiches. I ordered the chicken cilantro salad served in a taco shell. The greens were crispy and fresh and the protein serving was perfectly seasoned in a generous portion. Cabana burgers will for sure go onto my regular radar for casual lunch/dinner options.

Yelp
Fantastic sandwiches, salads, and burgers. Great gluten free options! They have a gluten free bun with sesame and poppy seed. It can be replaced on any burger or sandwich. Great service and fantastic attentiveness. Knowledgeable waitstaff when it came to gluten free questions. Good selection of drinks and shakes. We had a party of 6 and they got us in immediately. Limited staff sign on the front door prepared us to have patience. It wasn't needed! So great! They were even busy. Recommended for lunch. So very delicious!

Yelp
We happened to be down that way at James island county park with some friends. It was kind of in between lunch and dinner but we were all starved! I quickly grabbed my phone and searched Yelp for nearby restaurants that we haven't been to yet! We also had three picky eaters.... Kids! So, I suggested here! Outside was to hot, but they have lots of tables in/out of the sun and some fun stuff for kids to play with, which is a big hit with us! We all chose to sit inside and they sat us after a minute or two. The menu (drool) I wanted it all! My husband and I immediately said we just had to try one of their burgers. I ended up getting the "Big boy burger" which had two double beef delicious patties, loaded with Swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms and bacon jam. All burgers have lettuce, tomato and pickle on the side. I chose fries, I'm pretty bujey with my fries and prefer hand cut only, but these were still pretty good and they give a lot! My husband and I normally split and I didn't even ask, I just dug right in! Bite two I was saying we'd be back! Lol. Only weird thing was the three kids meals ( one slider meal and two chicken tenders) came out after our meals, like 5-6 minutes after... I normally try to ask for kids meals to come out before just so they can cool off and they can start before or with us, but I was half way done before his arrived. And the. He didn't want his. Lol! Other than that, we will be back!!! Also, I forgot to take pics of theirs cause I was so involved in mine haha

Yelp
I really want to like Cabana Burger. I just don't. I've been twice now with the first being shortly after they opened. The food was really disappointing with strange serving sizes (salad was insanely packed with greens and barely any toppings, alligator bites came with just a few tiny pieces in a large basket) and a super runny milkshake. We decided to give them some time and returned recently. The menu seems to have changed a bit (the french fry salad is gone) but the food remains subpar. They do have a bunch of games outside which seems nice to entertain children. I also have seen them have bands on several occasions. Maybe if they get a good happy hour menu going I'll try it again, but for now I've given it two chances and both were disappointing.

Alyce N.

Yelp
I had their "new" salad which was romaine lettuce with grilled shrimp. The shrimp were good but the rest of the salad was disgusting. There was hardly any dressing in the salad and most of it was brown. I guess you should only order a burger there.
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
I've been to cabana burger a few times. The first time I came was shortly after they opened, and I was very disappointed in their burgers. I figured they needed some time to figure out everything and I was right. I got the patty melt this time and enjoyed it. It was way better than I expected. The burger could've been a little bit juicier, but all in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also ordered the king pao cauliflower. It's one of my favorite things on the menu. The fries here are so good! They are beer battered and perfectly crispy. Cabana has a great outdoor and indoor space, and they occasionally have live music.
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
Server was above and beyond and apparently she is that way with everyone. Never met a stranger. We learned some of her family history as well. Great employee that I would hire myself in the business. They did charge us additional $3 for splitting a milkshake in half. Wish we had know and if so would have just shared one milkshake. Good wagyu burger and great fries. Burger comes with tomatoes and onions free if you ask. Make sure to ask. Otherwise you really get not much on it other than normal condiments and you need to ask for those as well I think. Our experience was positive with good music on the patio and a decent happy hour. I need to add we started with the cauliflower appetizer and really enjoyed that.
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy! Great burgers, and the fries had a sort of vinegary flavor i liked. Chocolate shake was also delicious, and a great atmosphere! Gypsy Burger

Yelp
We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner on our way home from James Island. It was that weird time before dinner so we almost had the place to ourselves aside from a few folks at the bar and maybe one other table. We started with the Mexican Street Corn Dip (Roasted corn, jalapeños, queso, and topped with panko Parmesan breadcrumbs and feta cheese. Served with tortilla chips on the side.) which was excellent. I love street corn and this dip was a unique take on it. I felt like I had to try the burgers here so I went with Standard Deluxe (Double 4oz beef patties, white American cheese). It came with veggies on the side for topping and a basket of fries. The burger to bun ratio was good but the bun was a little dry and I ended up eating the end of the burger without the bun. I really enjoyed the fries too and they're presented in a little metal basket too. The inside was nice and our server was great. I hope they get busier once the dinner rush comes. I would come back, but I'm not rushing in.
google avatar

Victoria B.

Yelp
Cabana Burger is always consistent and has friendly bartenders who make really awesome drinks. My favorite is the Mexican Martini, made with tequila and jalapeños. Rhiannon, the bartender, makes this perfect every time and shows great patience and attention even when the place is busy. The Tuna or Gypsy burgers are my favorite, but I would skip the Shrimp tacos - they were very skimpy with the ingredients. Anyway, check out this place for a lively atmosphere and live music on weekends!

Steven W.

Yelp
Anna was fantastic! Great food and great service from the bar! The cabana burger was one of the better burgers I've had in Charleston
google avatar

Kourtney G.

Yelp
We had a very disappointing experience here and don't plan to return. We've been before and it was never great but this was the last straw. Our service was awful and the food took forever.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, super service, and a really nice atmosphere! It is the perfect place to visit with friends and family...even the music was good!
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I was coming from Angel oak tree, which is like 9 minutes away!! We decided to stop here and it looks very brand new. There was no wait time, clean restaurant, and they have specials! Our server was super nice and even got us some mocktails! I'm vegetarian and I believe they have a lot of vegetarian-friendly options so I tried the fried pickles (pretty good and tangy.. nothing special), cauliflower wings (really flavorful, a little spicy with Buffalo in the breading but super good with some ranch sauce), and fries (well seasoned but again nothing special). My meal (cauliflower + fries) ended up being like 16 w/o tip! I would actually come back if I'm in the area because they do have a lot of good options!

Tracy G.

Yelp
If you're looking for a bougie, overpriced Charleston restaurant... Cabana is not it. If you are looking for a laid back atmosphere, clean, friendly and attentive staff, and consistently good food at reasonable prices, Cabana is a great option. We've been here three times and have had very good experiences each time. They have a decent sized menu where even a vegetarian can find something (which isn't always easy in Charleston). There's a full bar, plenty of parking, and an outdoor seating area with music in the evening (at least on Saturday there was). The one thing I must point out is the staff. In a city where it feels most servers are doing you a favor by doing their job, everyone at Cabana is nice and they all really appear to enjoy their jobs and where they work. It shows not only in their attitudes, but the overall restaurant vibe.
google avatar

Tony N.

Yelp
Just sat there for 15 minutes waitress walked by us 10 times never even acknowledged us, the place is empty four people outside two people inside at 12:30 in the afternoon.
google avatar

Amy D.

Yelp
Want to start by saying we are fans. The food is good, one of the best chicken sandwiches around, IMO. Went tonight and the ladies room was a mess with toilet paper rolls on the floor in each stall. We sat and watched the young man who was expediting at the food window pick food off of people's plates with his bare hands and eat it for like 15 minutes before he noticed us! Our server was kind but inept. Hubs and I ordered the coq fighter chicken sandwich and the steak salad, ordered water. It was $40. Yummy food but not worth the experience as a whole.
google avatar

Mike F.

Yelp
Very nice staff and very delish burgers. Ordered the turkey burger which was incredible. Also got a cookies and cream shake for the road. Over all, very please and will return when back in the town.

Yelp
I've given Cabana Burger several tries to get it right, but both the service and the food continue to be poor. I ordered the GYPSY BURGER ($14.00): Spinach all natural turkey burger (antibiotic free), feta cheese, gypsy sauce, red onion, cucumber, applewood smoked bacon. It was good, but more at the $7-10 price point good. My partner had the BIG BOY BURGER ($15.00): Double beef patties, grilled mushrooms, Swiss cheese and bacon jam. I sampled some of that, and again, it was okay--more at the $7-10 price point. Fries and onion rings were good but did not blow me away. For burgers at this price point, go visit Macintosh for a $17 C.A.B. burger and truffle fries. Or Husk for $14 cheeseburger with fries.   Unfortunately, the service was awful. Our server only came to the table to take our order, deliver food, and deliver checks. She stood around with the other servers at the bar, talking to the bar tender for most of our meal. I had to go up to the server in order to request refills on drinks. There was no sense or urgency or service. For the overpriced food that didn't blow me away and subpar service, I am not interested in coming back to Cabana. The location is great, and they have plenty of outdoor space.

David T.

Yelp
Yum!! Great burgers. Kid friendly, great atmosphere! Good for drinks as well. Worth the try.

Luke C.

Yelp
Very yum food, large portions, and great service through and through. When something was brought to my attention that upset me, a manager came over and listened and explained it which helped me understand their understanding of it which helped me feel resolved.

Yelp
Food - 6/10 Service 3/10 Ambiance - 7/10 Management - not present Only people that are rating this place above average either: 1) are drinks that sit at the bar 2) come here so their kids can act like idiots outside while mommy and daddy sip on their seltzers 3) wouldn't know a good restaurant if it slapped them in the faces Good potential but a waste of money. Don't blame this on not being able to get help due to Covid. There are plenty of kids here working....just need an adult present to manage them. Got meals before our first glass of wine. Food sub par.
google avatar

Kim C.

Yelp
First visit here and was not disappointed. Was seated right away and we were offered outdoor or indoor seating. We chose indoor although their outdoor seating is is great. There is even a small area for the kids to play. We were greeted by a huge smile from Priscilla, our server. There is a wide selection of meals so there is something for everyone. I had the Mike's Pittsburgh cheese steak with hot, crispy fries and my husband had the Bison Burger and fries. He was happy with the taste of his burger and my cheese steak was delicious. The restrooms were definitely clean and even smelled good. I would definitely recommend Cabana and hope to be able to return soon.
google avatar

Opal D.

Yelp
The most kid-friendly restaurant I've been to in a while. Love all their toys in the outdoor patio (though I'm not sure about the water table... I don't want to have a soaking wet kid after lunch). The food was alright, not fantastic; may just have been what I ordered, I plan to try something else next time. Service was only alright too--no offer of ketchup when the fries came.
google avatar

Sheila W.

Yelp
Nice place. Our server Brad was super sweet. Told us he was a newbie . He went out of his way to make our meal enjoyable. He was quick to fix the kitchen's mistakes. I had the Greek Salad. My friend had the Beet and goat cheese salad and we split the sliders which were delicious.

Yelp
I try to patronize local places here on Johns Island so tonight I went out in search of a good burger. I think if I was going to just judge the burger patty itself I would have to say yum but if I take into account the entire meal and experience I would have to give it a meh. Here's my experience. The burger patty itself was good. Well cooked, tender, juicy. I was all for that. I got the brioche bun. Very good. Fresh. I am a big fan of toasted buns so I would have thought a little butter and a quick toast on the flattop would have added some additional flavor and texture but thats just me. I am a huge fan of onion rings so I opted for the up charge to get some onion rings. I also added bacon jam (up charge). The burger came with plenty of onions, a thick cut tomato slice, and some hefty pickles. All good. I had to track down a server for some ketchup and mayonnaise. I saw the cheddar cheese on the burger when it arrived however it really had no taste. The bacon jam was not really worth the up charge. The best bacon jam I've had contained caramelized onions, some sweetness, and well rendered bacon. This was not what I got. I could tell there was onion, there was a sharp onion taste. There was no sweetness, and the bacon was not really cooked. It was rubbery bits. Bacon jam can't be whipped together quickly. It needs to cook slowly and the flavors need to meld and marry. You need to cook out the raw onion taste and it should be a little sweet (in my opinion). The bacon jam was a fail. I ended up scraping it off my burger. Onto the onion rings. These were probably the biggest disappointment. The oil they were cooked in needed to be changed. There was an off taste to the onion rings that was disappointing. I ate one and left the rest behind. There is an up charge for using my credit card. It was only 84 cents but I guess I'm really getting tired of places adding these charges to my bill. There is a sign on the door that says you get a discount if you pay in cash but honestly I don't think I've had any cash in my pocket since 2010. Finally service. I watched the servers when I sat down. My server seemed to be hustling with a couple of big tables when I got sat. Two other servers were hanging out and didn't seem to be too busy. There weren't a lot of people sitting outside but I finally puzzled out that the servers sanding around had tables outside while the other server had the inside. Not a great strategy. When my food arrived (and quickly) the runner dropped it and was gone before I could ask for the condiments that were not on the table. My server was busy so I went in search of condiments myself. I managed to find the ketchup on one table and the busboy did bring me some mayonnaise. When my server stopped by my table (only time after my order) I thought I'd better ask for the bill. Running a restaurant in this economy, dealing with staffing issues, and supply issues is rough. I can recognize that. However, there are things you should do well (food quality) to ensure your business is successful. No excuse for that bacon jam having a sharp onion taste, the bacon being rubbery bits, and it not having that mellow sweetness. If you can't do it right then take it off the menu and don't disappoint. Frying onion rings in old oil won't work either. Deploying your staff to make sure service is up to par is key. If you have time to stand around and look out the window then you have time to help your fellow server so the customer is happy. Staff training can help a lot. Never drop food and then dash off without seeing if the customer needs anything else. I you see a customer walking from table to table to looking for something you'd better head over and see what they need. There are places you can go here in the area that serve great food and that are dealing with the exact same issues. They are still making good food and providing great service. If you are going to survive then you need to create a place where when you think I want a burger the answer is Cabana.

Yelp
Burger is alright, nothing special. The waiter's aggressive nonstop upselling was obnoxious.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Right when we walked in we were greeted with smiles and excellent service. The whole look of the place is new and fresh. The food was absolutely delicious and I can safely say we will come back sometime!

Yelp
I ordered the Cabana Burger and my husband a single deluxe w/bacon and burger sauce. A previous review said the burgers were dry but the ones we received were far from dry. Great bun to burger ratio and greasy so keep a napkin close by. Also the key lime pie shake was a perfect ending.
