I've given Cabana Burger several tries to get it right, but both the service and the food continue to be poor.
I ordered the GYPSY BURGER ($14.00): Spinach all natural turkey burger (antibiotic free), feta cheese, gypsy sauce, red onion, cucumber, applewood smoked bacon. It was good, but more at the $7-10 price point good.
My partner had the BIG BOY BURGER ($15.00): Double beef patties, grilled mushrooms, Swiss cheese and bacon jam. I sampled some of that, and again, it was okay--more at the $7-10 price point.
Fries and onion rings were good but did not blow me away.
For burgers at this price point, go visit Macintosh for a $17 C.A.B. burger and truffle fries. Or Husk for $14 cheeseburger with fries.
Unfortunately, the service was awful. Our server only came to the table to take our order, deliver food, and deliver checks. She stood around with the other servers at the bar, talking to the bar tender for most of our meal. I had to go up to the server in order to request refills on drinks. There was no sense or urgency or service.
For the overpriced food that didn't blow me away and subpar service, I am not interested in coming back to Cabana. The location is great, and they have plenty of outdoor space.
