EXCELLENT food, unfortunately they made my dry martini with sweet vermouth instead of dry vermouth. Didn’t ask me if that was acceptable beforehand , made the drink, i caught it was different and asked, they confirmed it was sweet vermouth because they ran out… and that was it! No attempt to rectify. Again, great food… just don’t order complex cocktails

I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to stop by this restaurant after a recommendation from my Uber driver. It was a great idea to have dinner here! The service was excellent, the restaurant is spacious, and the food is fresh and delicious.

First off, the portions here are ginormous! See pic for how much food you get for ordering two things! Quite pricey because of this. You're paying like 4-8 times the price ordering two main course for two people. One main dish can feed like 2-3 people! No where is this mentioned on the menu. The food itself was alright, but not anything spectacular. The ribs were fine, doesn't fall off the bone (might be a regional thing). The crab pie is disappointing. It doesn't taste like crab at all. Everything is overpowered by the olives and dried shrimp. Texture also somewhat messed up by the hard dried shrimp shells. Staff were excellent.

A good restaurant close to the Luzeiros hotel we stayed, approximate 200 meters... They had very friendly staff, the helped us even with the language barrier... The prices were above the average restaurants we stayed, but very huge portions... Sometimes more than two person can eat out of 1 portion... See the picture for the example, then you have an idea how to order....

+ good cocktails, though the waiter didn t know them, seems they are not ordered to often - hardly any veg. options - huge portions the dish for 2 would feed 4, to sad because we did not have space for dessert - canteen atmosphere 🙁 - overrated and expensive

Good service but carne de sol (file minion) is okay level. you can have same level at normal costelao in south brasil, but here price is tripled. And you have to wait for a long time during busy hours due to popular tourism destination.

Superb! Delicious regional food!! Very authentic Maranhense dishes! Don't forget to prove their homemade pepper sauce! Very well served plates.. must visit in Sao Luis

Solid Carne de Sol in massive portions on Praia Litoranea. Upstairs, the massive windows offer a view of sunset if you come here before 18:00h for a Caipirinha for example. Come with friends to help you eat the massive portions and delicious sides, and get a "shot de limao" to help you digest it after

Extremely popular restaurant in São Luis -- we came around 2.30pm for a late lunch on a Wednesday and the restaurant was 2/3 full, and it's a big restaurant! We enjoyed all the dishes; only reason we didn't give the extra star was that service was pretty slow and it was a bit pricey. An English menu is available but not really spoken. We were only two people and ordered the sun dried suckling pork for 2, and the house special shrimp cauldron for 2. The suckling pork was delicious , with the pork flavor enhanced by the drying. The shrimp stew was good but a bit mild for our taste, but we still enjoyed it. With two waters, a beer, and a caipri, we ended up spending RS $466. One could say we ordered enough for 4 but honestly we finished most of our meal, so it was closer to being enough for 2.5 hungry people. That said we wouldn't hesitate to come back and recommend this spot if you're in São Luis!
