ILLEGAL PUPPY SALES WITH NO CONCERN. Solicitors selling illegally bred small puppies in OVER 100 DEGREE heat absolutely abusing them. Cabazon security did NOTHING. It is very obvious they are peddling animals to the point they are asking people to buy them. Cabazon DO BETTER. Spoke to someone in the office who led me in the right direction to air my concern. Apparently there is different security for different areas of the shopping center. Thank you for being helpful in solving this matter. I will keep my post up to inform others not to support backyard breeders!

I love this place! Clean with nice mountain views. Great sales with designer items on Thanksgiving week. Black Friday sales start the week of Thanksgiving. For example..COACH has 60% + plus 25% on top of it. Check it out, every year!

It's almost like a little desert oasis. Not for Miles is there anything really nice. Then boom. This very clean and up to date outlet mall. I unfortunately was not there to shop. But worked on the Chloe face lift. Its revamped and full of modern and very aggressive light fixtures.

With over 50 stores, this place is a shopper's paradise where you'll either find yourself spoiled for choice or tempted to buy everything you see because it’s all so beautiful. It offers a comfortable and peaceful shopping experience, catering to all age groups.

Google
2025 ,Beautiful place beautiful view . Best place to shop luxury designer . The only down side are the outrageously overpriced food court and the trash over flowing and not being emptied often enough.the bathrooms are also filthy old and outdated, shocking for surch a luxury place, the ones in the grove in LA are better . Great parking space.FREE PARKING , which is great compare to LA .huge outdoor mall . Other than the bathroom issue ,definetly one of my fav in southern california. I keep coming back . Very peaceful for outdoor luxury shopping. There is stores for every budget every price range

Google
Phenomenal place with great varieties of great stores. Fun to pass the time shoppers delight. And tons of great deals with great brands. There are small shacks to buy food and drinks. There is enough parking and even security patrolling. And the bathrooms are decent.

Emalyah helped my 10 year old with some questions and our purchase during our most recent visit to the crocs location at Cabazon. She was kind and patient and genuine. Not something I’ve seen lately in customer service and especially from someone so young. I appreciated the everything about our interaction with her.

I've always liked shopping out in the middle of nowhere. I just don't like the other shoppers, most are jerks. But the few stores I shop are amay with some good sales and discounts

Yelp
Great outlet with the convenience of a Tesla supercharger so I can charge up my car while I shop on this side. There is also a lot of parking on this side of the outlet mall. There is also a good selection of stores that I frequent including 7 for all Mankind, Lululemon, Ecco, Levi's, Sandro, Ferragamo, John Varvatos, and many more! I will often grab some McDonald's or Starbucks to eat or drink while shopping. After I'm done with this side of the mall, I would usually drive to the other side to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets where there is a huge selection of stores including luxury brands. The combination of the two outlets being side by side makes this a great place to shop.

Yelp
I love shopping at these outlets despite the one hundred + degree weather just about each and every time I have shopped here. Certain area of this huge complex are currently undergoing remodeling so several businesses are closed. During this recent visit, I noticed very few customers unlike my previous and many visits where this place was PACKED and nearly impossible to find a parking spot. It actually felt sad shopping here and appeared as though many businesses are desperate for customers. 90% of the stores I noticed, had, "50-70% off" posters displayed on the front windows or "entire store on clearance" posters. There were also two businesses with, "going out of business forever" posters on their front windows. As a shopper, this means great savings on many items but when my of my favorite athletic shoe stores (ASICS) is no longer here, this can't be a good sign. A security guard I spoke to shared that business has been unusually slow this summer. I hope that retailers are not planing on leaving and this just happens to be not only a slow day for shopping but an entire summer of customers staying away.

Yelp
This review is specifically for Designer Perfumes, and more so, for the unprofessional behavior of the employee I encountered today. I walked into the store to inquire about a few fragrances and asked about the pricing. The prices she quoted were identical to those you'd find at Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's--basically full retail price. When I asked what their outlet price was, she told me these brands don't come at a discount. I thanked her and left. Another customer who also didn't make a purchase exited right after me. As we were both walking away (fully outside the store), I casually mentioned to her, "If it's full price, I might as well get it from Nordstrom where I earn high points," to which she agreed. That was the end of that exchange--two customers sharing a passing comment outside the store. A few minutes later, I realized the sunglasses I had previously bought (not from that store) still had the tag on, and I thought I saw scissors on her counter. I went back in and politely asked if I could borrow the scissors. She kindly allowed me to use them, which I appreciated. However, what came next was completely uncalled for. She told me she overheard my conversation outside and said, "If you want a discount, maybe you should go to Nordstrom Rack." I replied that Nordstrom Rack doesn't carry that specific perfume, but Nordstrom does--plus I earn points. She then said she "didn't like" the comment I made to the other customer. I explained I didn't say anything wrong and was simply commenting on pricing and loyalty benefits. What made it even more awkward was that she said this in front of another customer she was helping check out, then held up her finger and said, "I'll have a word with you when this customer leaves." At that point I said, "Excuse me, I'm not here to get a lecture from you. I appreciate you letting me use the scissors, but that doesn't give you the right to confront me about a private conversation I had outside your store." I left feeling deeply uncomfortable. It's one thing to decline a sale, it's another to chastise a potential customer for an offhand comment made outside your store. This employee needs serious training on customer service and basic professionalism. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Yelp
The Cabazon Outlets is one of my favorite spots to come to when my boyfriend and I go to Palm Springs. This time was no different. If you know me, I'm pretty cheap when it comes to buying clothes so this place always slaps! If you plan to go then wear comfortable shoes cause it's a massive outdoor mall. The staff everyone is super friendly and you'll probably leave with more than you went looking for! It's a great outlet mall that I definitely recommend come to if you're in the area!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite place to shop whenever I'm in California. Plus my uncle lives 10 minutes away. There's a ton of stores here, luxury stores as well. They have a big parking ramp and parking lot in the back. Right off the highway and down the street from the casino, so you can't miss it. They have a food court and also food trucks available at the entrances and courtyard. I would stop by the Gucci store to see what kind of purses they have in stock. Otherwise it's all for my daughter, she's more into clothes.

Yelp
If you're going to do the Outlets during a holiday weekend, you have to start early. We arrived a little before 10a and shops weren't open yet so parking was easy. For a good hour or so - shops didn't have lines yet to get in, and inventory was stocked! So we had time to get to more shops than if we went later with the rush. They have a GREAT SELECTION of stores, including luxury stores. The only thing I wish they had were more INDOOR FOOD places, they mainly had the food court here. They did have outdoor food stops but it was just too hot for that. Definitely recommend anytime you're in the desert.

Yelp
Get your walking shoes on-this outlet mall has everything! Service was good in every store we went to-attentive sales associates at Coach, Longchamp, Ralph Lauren and LuluLemon. Had a delicious lunch at the Italian restaurant-sooo much better than the old food court. The prices weren't great-didn't seem like a great discount. Pandora prices seemed like the same as retail stores. Overall we didn't buy all that much, but it was a fun day trip with friends.
google avatar

Hyd F.

Yelp
So many top designer shops at this Cabazon outlet stores. Midway between the buildings food court that offers a variety of foods. Many parking spaces in the structure and the backs of all the buildings.

Lorena M.

Yelp
The worst customer service. Not one employee said hello or asked if I needed help finding anything. I would rather pay full price than shop here. I was looking forward to buying a few pieces but I refuse to spend my money where I'm not welcomed. Visit was 8/30

Yelp
Strap on your walking shoes because spending a day at this place will have you racking up the miles! There are a lot of stores where you can find what you are looking for. Some are high end and others are normal mall stores. It is an outlet shopping area but it was hard to find anything that looked like a deal. There are food and drink carts throughout the shopping center with some unique food items to be found. Warning: if you go here in the summer be prepared for the heat. Bring an umbrella and plenty of fluids because the heat radiates throughout the shopping area as there is very little cover to be found. Parking can be terrible so show up early, or be prepared to park far away and add to your daily walk.

Yelp
Cabazon Outlets has a good amount of stores. I would say they are mostly high end stores. I don't think the prices are any better than regular retail stores. I also came on New Years Day. There weren't a great sales going on today. Nonetheless, there's plenty of parking especially at the garage. The restrooms are spread throughout. They are clean. The layout of the outlets can be confusing. You might end up walking in circles. Overall, visiting here is a once a year thing. I don't need to come here on a regular basis.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Pretty well organized outlet mall given the caliber of stores and the volume of traffic it brings in! We went to the old part first to visit Vuori and Columbia then we drove over to the new part which has a crazy big parking garage with lots of spots open on a Sunday night. The stores were never ending, it felt like we kept walking and walking and walking. Usually I wouldn't mind but this was after a day of hiking so it was hiking part two! I've never been to an outlet mall with such nice stores....Gucci, Prada, Burberry, the list goes on and on. I ended up treating myself to a little something nice from Tory Burch but otherwise didn't find a lot of items. I love that instead of a food court, they had food trucks parked there as well. Carb load and shop!!!
google avatar

Jerry M.

Yelp
If you can't find it here... it does not exist. There are several sections and a ton of parking behind the mall that is in addition to the lots out front. Its a very big complex. Come here for clothing and everything that goes with. If, like me you are accompanying your spouse who is doing the shopping... you will find lots of comfortable seating to relax in throughout the mall. Recommend.
google avatar

Vanessa P.

Yelp
Excellent outdoor mall, clean and great selections. There is quite a bit of walking so be sure to wear comfortable attire.
google avatar

Yelp
Great outlet! With all the brands. It is a hit and miss. But keep going and you will find great items at a great price.

Yelp
One of my favorite outlet shopping malls for luxury designer goods! I used to come here way before they did the renovations. There used to be a parking lot in the center of the mall but they've since added more stores and added an additional parking structure. One side I deem more high end stores and on the other end, more affordable priced goods. Parking is always pretty busy so we usually opt to arrive before they open and just grab breakfast and a coffee from the food court to kill time. The stores range from Lululemon, Levis, Adidas to Kate Spade, Christian Louboutin, Tom Ford, Balenciaga, YSL, Prada...the list goes on. So something for everyone. Gucci is one of the hots spots and if you are going during the hot summer months, I suggest you arrive about 30 min to an hour in advance to secure your shady spot in line as they only allow so many bodies in there at once since they have limited sale associates that are assigned to each person. If not, bring an umbrella as you'll be standing in the blazing heat from anywhere to an hour on up depending on the day of the week that you go...weekends are the busiest, obviously. They have 2 small food courts on opposite sides of the center but also have a few food trucks sprinkled throughout. Always a favorite spot to visit on our annual trip to Palm Desert with the fam.

Yelp
Brought my granddaughter to Vans as she wants a new pair of shoes for her upcoming birthday! It was only 101 in the shade! Ha ha! There was only : other persons in the store looking around as it's just to hot to shop for some! The price was ok and plenty of employees to help with anything you needed. I loved that I just walked up to the counter and paid without waiting!
google avatar

Jose M.

Yelp
Found what I was looking for! Nike store has a great selection and pretty good sales!
google avatar

Sunil R.

Yelp
These and the premium outlets are right next to each other, and to me, they were just a contiguous plethora of stores. I could not really tell where one ended and the other began. It did not matter, really. There is great shopping to be had here. It is well worth the drive.
google avatar

Yelp
Cabazon Outlets is a lot smaller than I remembered back in the days, but then again I am not much of a high end designer name brand shopper so I probably didn't think too much or noticed about the stores in the first place. WOW... that was a very long statement!!! LOL There are about 15 stores and 2 snack/drink shops. New Balance is my favorite shoe brand so I will shop there to show my patronage. Auntie Anne's is my favorite pretzel joint so I will be there for some Sweet Almond pretzels. Columbia is one of my preferred clothing brand so I will go there to shop if there are special deals. Under Armour is fairly new to me, but I have bought an athletic shirt from them before. As for the other brands, I'm not familiar with them except for Oakley which is known for their designer sunglasses. I'm not a big fan of sunglasses since I wear prescription eyeglasses that have transition added so I don't really need the cool looking sunglasses. Parking space area is small at least in the front, but maybe they have some in the back. I wished my eldest daughter and I got some Auntie Anne's when we had the chance... I guess we'll catch them next time. Btw, its neighbor Desert Hills Premium Outlet doesn't have a lot of dining options either so do plan accordingly. Happy Shopping and Snacking!!! LOL

Yelp
Huge 170 store outlet just north of Palm Springs. It took my friend and me about 5 hours to shop and we probably only went into about 25-30 stores. You'll find high end stores sprinkled with regular stores so there's something for everyone. It's easy to find public restrooms and food/ drink are offered everywhere. I was impressed with the friendliness of every single worker I encountered! Very friendly. Parking garages are located all along the outlets in the back. This is a shopping Mecca!!!!! Plan to be here awhile and get some great deals.
google avatar

Yelp
My fav outlet to go to I absolutely love it here! I try to go at least 4 times a year. They have everything you need from designer to forever 21. I feel that this is the best outlets in Cali for sure! Right next to Morongo and not far from Palm Desert. They have Prada, Burberry, Balenciaga, YSL, Nike, and much so many stores. They have good deals as well for holidays and Black Friday. The service is also good with exceptional customer service! All the workers are always so pleasant and willing to help you out. Overall, I recommend this outlet for the best deals with top notch designer luxury brands. They even have alo and Givenchy store they have very good prices! Side note: it's plenty of parking and you can park on any side. If you check in on Yelp you also get a gift and coupon. The check in is by the Columbia store FYI.
google avatar

Kisha L.

Yelp
This is an upscale outlet that has several name-brand stores. Gucci, Prada, Balenciaga Burberry, etc. The stores have high-end clothing and shoes with fantastic discounts for great bargain prices Everyone is helpful and nice. This outlet is located next to the Morongo casino and not far from Pam Springs. You can make it an overnight weekend while you play and shop. Plenty of free parking around the outlet. Make sure you check in on Yelp to receive a coupon discount for various stores listed on the VIP Card and a possible $25 gift card from the concierge. They will explain how you can obtain a $25 gift card from San Clemente and The Citadel Outlets during promotions only. Overall, worth the drive and lots of fun shopping.

Yelp
stores are such a hot mess. i wanna go to gucci but not waiting in a 100 person line. they used to have victoria secret which i guess closed. they allow like 10 person families in stores which make things soo much more hectic. the tourists here are wild. i only go to some of the stores. the best ones were: jimmy choo, stuart weitzman, nike is crazy. i wanted to go to prada but i aint waiting in a line!
google avatar

Yelp
Great Day to be out and about. Sure, some Holiday busy shoppers Not too mention limited parking Crowded Plenty of Sales The topper lol Individuals dressed, layered, bundled up like it's 25 degrees Fahrenheit This Made it all worthwhile! For me... Part of the Holiday " package " Thanks for reading

Yelp
The Cabazon Outlets have been around for a long time, I remember coming here when it first opened thinking it was so cool especially because I could shop for a bathing suit and get a deal before going to Palm Springs! Weekends are crazy here like any outlet center. I don't think they've done that much to improve it over the years. It was super crowded here today and I was on the hunt for a purse. I stopped at several stores and wasn't impressed with any of the merchandise. I finally found my favorite store and that ie Saint Laurent.
google avatar

Alice C.

Yelp
cabazon is the woodbury commons of the west in terms of store offerings. some of my personal favorites: - loro piana - brunello - christian louboutin - burberry - gucci - prada - jimmy choo - lanvin you can go high or low here at cabazon, there's something for everyone. sadly the food offering has a ton of room for improvement. they permanently closed down one of the food courts that used to house panda express (which was really the only decent food option) and will be the new home for restaurant- opening date tbd. best to stop by at plazas next door to morongo for food (chipotle, panda, in n out). you'll notice some stores will put a little more effort into the storefront and mirror their non-outlet retail stores but some just dgaf and serve a true outlet experience. parking structure and uncovered lots available. albeit in the middle of a desert there are covered walkways to keep you in the shade and the stores are dog friendly- but i wouldn't recommend bringing your pets if it's super hot out the pavements will sure burn.
google avatar

Brandon Z.

Yelp
Been coming here for probably over ten years as we make our annual trek from Phoenix to the LA area for Thanksgiving. TONS of stores to choose from - probably the largest Outlet Mall I've ever been to. Many food options, mall is generally clean and well laid out. Parking can be hit or miss - we made the mistake of coming here the weekend after Black Friday and drove around for an hour and didn't get a spot. Other times we've had zero parking issues.
google avatar

Lucille M.

Yelp
This place has gone bigger and offer more stuff that you will find in a good price. You only have to come early for you to be able to get the items you wanted to buy. As I said they have a good price. Their place is clean. And the restrooms are really clean . I am surprise because there are lots of people shopping and they still were able to keep it clean. I highly recommend this place
google avatar

Ellie C.

Yelp
Overall amazing outlets! Facilities and grounds are clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking and everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful!
google avatar

Helen M.

Yelp
Hell yasss! Amazing outlet mall - super high-end brands (Staud, Zadig, Mackage, Prada, etc). Don't go hungry - no food options just a couple of food trucks and the lines/waits are really LONG.

Yelp
Definitely my first time being here and it was nice to see all the different stores! I used to go to the Camarillo outlets with my family as a kid all the time but this one is huge in comparison at least from what I remember. The stores are great but definitely not stores I would normally shop at. It's nice seeing all the different deals they had going. We managed to drop by Coach since they had a Disney Villains collab going on and it was really cool to see all the purses and items they made for it! Honestly wish they did more Disney collabs in general because I may just end up purchasing one! Great place to walk and had some interesting food spots. A little tip: park by the McDonald's and walk from that end! They have a parking structure around the middle but the cross walk can be endless because people don't know when to go or when to wait so it can just be a constant flow of people crossing and you'd be stuck forever. Yelp
This review is for the Prada store. Sales people were awful with no service. The cashier just shoved $1000 cashmere sweater in the paper bag without even wrapping a piece of tissue paper. We spent $5000 and didn't even get a thank you. The worst store ever!
google avatar

Leilani M.

Yelp
Such a fun place to spend the day. I would definitely recommend coming when it's not blazing hot. It's an outdoor mall very enjoyable when you're in the shade. There's lots of levels so you silver sneakers out there bring your walkers and take the ramps and stay hydrated. Lots of eatery carts along your journey. Some Adirondack chairs to give your feet a rest and a few outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy lunch. Also had some pop ups at the midway point. Some agua frescas, bottled beverages to Asian dumplings and Thai tea. Lots of promotions on top of it being an outlet mall. Great for Christmas shopping and Black Friday deals.

Glendy P.

Yelp
Cabazon Outlets Closed Today Tuesday 21, 2025 Due to Power Outage! Lots of wind, maybe this is why it was closed.
google avatar

Yelp
Bring comfortable shoes or tennis shoes are you gonna do a lot of walking? Great discount on productive star
google avatar

Yelp
Long lines at good brands Only a few times in a year for new arrivals Not much choice for lunch
google avatar

Georgie M.

Yelp
Cabazon and Desert Hills have grown and expanded over the years, both in a good and bad way. Yes, it's no longer a strip parking lot, like a great many other Outlets. And, the high-end stores have grown exponentially, like Zegna, LV, Prada, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Jimmy Choo and Fendi; complementing the usual suspects of Coach, Ralph Lauren Polo, Nike, Under Armour, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Columbia et cetera. The downside are the brands own efforts to sell knock-offs of their own products, as a separate and cheaper distribution channel. Yes, those bags in Tory Burch or Kate Spade you see may never have been seen the inside of one of their non-Outlet stores. So Caveat emptor, because 40% off something, isn't necessarily a deal.
google avatar

Sonny S.

Yelp
Relatives were able make a great purchase at the Gucci & Kate Spade store - they were very happy

Victor V.

Yelp
The experience at the Prada store was horrible due to the manager working there this morning at 10:45am. She is a Caucasian lady with blond hair. Very rude, and totally needs some diversity sensitivity training. Her attitude was very off putting. She was managing the door. I ended spending 4000 dollars at Gucci due to the friendliness of their staff. Never going to Prada again due this terrible customer service experience.
google avatar

Jim V.

Yelp
It was a nice day and perfect for a drive and stroll around the outlets. I decided to check in on Yelp and was offered a free small gift and discount card. Both this card and gift were a total bum steer as Customer service was difficult to find and once found it was just closed. After checking in at the management office I was directed to customer service on the other side??? I guess the two sides are different even though they share information boards, over all style and branding throughout the mall. They might have 2 different names, but I don't have any Idea what the other name might be. Once I made my way all the way over to the other side, I found that customer service office closed. I never got the small gift but more importantly I didn't get the VIP Discount card. After the half mile or perhaps more walk and a bit frustrated, I just decided to not buy anything. The mall was quiet and most of the food places were closed, it just had an off vibe, so I went back to Menifee for a late lunch and some shopping. I doubt I will return because I have been to better outlet malls.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
I've heard so much about these outlets, but my experience was just alright. It was nice to walk around during the evening, but there wasn't a single store that really caught my eye. It's mix of high end brands and some common brands that you can find at the mall. Somehow our party of 4 could not find anything that really interested us. Apparently it's also right next to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets, which are within walking distance. Either way my experience is similar for both of them. Additionally, it's a hot spot for shopping, especially in the holiday season but I felt that the decorations were really cheap, boring and lack luster. Solid green or red lights, a single large tree, and that is all that I remember. Irvine Spectrum is much prettier and decked out. Hell, even Westfield Santa Anita is more magical.
google avatar

Annie Y.

Yelp
There are plenty of parking spaces, but they also have street parking just outside the plaza. This outlet is definitely smaller than I imagined but it's next to Desert Hills Outlet, which is the bigger outlet. This outlet is the only outlet that has Vuori! Tip(s): - Plenty of parking, but also has street parking - Small outlet (~18 stores), but it's close to Desert Hills Outlet, which is bigger
google avatar

Khem B.

Yelp
It's not really an outlet. Retail prices everywhere. Still long line to get in the actual stores too. I had high expectations for going but left with parking fees. Not much selection except for Coach. Service overall was mediocre especially in high end stores. They both ask to help you, just assume that you can't afford it!
google avatar

Derek Y.

Yelp
A lot of stores to browse through from cheap to high end, they have non-name brand and Gucci. You can definitely get your step counter in while visiting the long strip of retail shops. Bring a drink; it gets warm and the lines for refreshments are long. Shouldn't be called outlets because most of the clothes are regular price. There are not a whole lot of amazing sale items you associate with the Outlet label. They need covered parking badly- even if it's paid parking.
google avatar

Agnes D.

Yelp
This is my second favorite premium outlet (The first one is Woodbury Commons in NY)! They have a wide selection of designer outlet stores here, and you can't beat the deals, especially if you go on a holiday. It is def worth the trip. Staff are very courteous and helpful.
google avatar

Raul A.

Yelp
Great deals, all of the stores you can think of, and plenty of parking. One piece of advice, get there early and have the stores in mind that you want to shop at so you can save time and money... lol!
google avatar

Jerry H.

Yelp
Cabazon is a huge mall that is a TRUE OUTLET mall with discounts of 30% to 70% off retail prices. They also have great stores you normally can't find such as an outlet Lululemon, Tory Burch, Gucci, Quicksilver and more. I was able to get Quicksilver board shorts for $25. It's normally $60 plus. We bought so many things on sale with huge discounts. We loved it. The only bad thing about this place is there are very few places to eat here. The food court currently only has two vendors open with very limited seating. I recommend you find somewhere else to eat. Parking is plentiful and restrooms are available in several sections of the mall. If you like great deals and you don't have to eat, try this place out!
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
It's a great outlet if you like high and higher fashion and accessories as they have every big name under the sun and most of the lesser names as well. The big name stores had some lines outside with stanchions set up. We hit a taco booth and I had some beef tacos with mild sauce. I like that they have a Skecher's store for me to shop for work shoes, but they had nothing in my size in WIDE. Other shoe stores had some good deals on black running shoes that could work as work shoes, but I figured I would hold off until I can try some Skecher's in store since I need wide size with good cushioning for lots of walking. They now have a REBORN coffee which is better quality than Starbuck's. The holiday parking game plan the outlet enacted blew doors. They turned it into one way in and one way out with nobody directing traffic inside or out. It becomes a game of musical doors because you really have no clue how to get out because there is an exit on the 2nd or 3rd level, but that is set for entering only and there was no temporary signage observed anywhere. Also, the lot is sold the __ out with cars so you are constantly stopped while another car waits for someone to leave. Needless to say some impatient pukes behind us went fargin nutbalz with their fancy cars and veered around these people and sped away fortunately not mowing down a pedestrian.
