Hello All, I'm sharing my experience today about a recent experience I had that truly blew my socks off. Having been bit by boredom in these homely confines, I decided to take a bit of a break, clear my head, and what better way than to pay a visit to that sound of nature we all love - the beach! Let me take this opportunity to introduce you to Cabo Wabo Beach Club. This is not just a hotel or restaurant, but a delightful blend of both. To say that it exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. As someone who has had his fair share of travel experiences, I can confidently say that this location is the perfect spot for different sorts of folks. Whether you're looking for a charming escapade for a romantic date night, a picturesque backdrop for your vlogging endeavors as a YouTuber or even if you simply wish to indulge in a little taste of luxury, this place has it all. If you don't believe me, allow my pictures to do the talking. The atmosphere is nothing short of stunning with teal waves crashing the sun-kissed shores, creating a symphony that not just pleases the ears but also tugs at one's heart. But there’s more! This establishment is not only inviting for you but also your furry companions, making it pet-friendly and family-oriented. One of the many feathers in their cap is their prime location, strategically positioned just across the beach, so it's just a crosswalk away from setting foot on golden sands. Although it resides in a luxurious neighborhood, you’ll be delighted to know that the prices for the food and drinks are surprisingly reasonable. The quality of their dishes took me on a culinary journey to remember and the drinks just were the icing on the cake. I was so enchanted by my experience at Cabo Wabo, I find myself counting down the days until I booked a weekend in June to soak up more of this magical atmosphere. As someone with a background in management, I can truly appreciate their attention to detail and the memorable service they provide. I felt I must share this slice of paradise in a rather heavy world. In a nutshell, if you haven’t been here, you’re missing out!

My friend and I came here for lunch and were incredibly impressed. Excellent service by our server Jared, and a gorgeous view of the beach while we dined. The food was absolutely on point! We tried the ceviche, street corn, carnitas tacos, and quesobirria tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious! Generous portion sizes too.

The entire staff, especially Travis was very friendly and prompt. Travis was attentive till the end of our breakfast. He made sure my family enjoyed our meal. Thank you Travis for being genuine.

I think we had higher expansions for a beach- front type eatery. The food, service, and cocktails were just average. The outside patio was not what one would expect. Seating is behind the pool area. So, instead of a beautiful beach view you see families playing at the pool. Barely a glimpse of the horizon off in the distant. Probably a descent lunch for a family with kids but not for us. Won't be returning.

They've really leveled up and beyond post soft opening. Returned last night with hubs. Starting from the warm bar reception, fresh Brewery X beer, CW tequila shrimp (and the accompany bread), excellent chips and salsa to the main entrees--quesabirria for hubs and Veracruz chopped salad for me. Highlight was Chef Efren's flan--his mom's recipe. Truly one of the most memorable meals. Service from bar to finish was perfection. Warm, inviting. Fun setting. Arriving hotel guests in great spirits. Can't wait to come back. Our new go-to for coastal Mex. Outstanding.

Food was flavorless, and pricey for the what it is. I ordered, Seafood Ceviche, Queso Fundido with Chorizo, Chicken Tenders, Carne Asada tacos, Fish tacos, and Seafood Pasta, and Fried Ice Cream. Both the Carne Asada and Fish tacos were not properly seasoned, which made for a bland taco, they were better once we added salt. The Asada tacos were ~$8.33/each. The Queso Fundido was 99.9% cheese with Chorizo than I'm used to at other restaurants for a lower price. Also, lacking the chorizo flavor. The Ceviche was good but not the best I've had from other restaurants. The Seafood Pasta and the Fried Ice Cream were the best dishes.

We were delighted to experience a private cooking class with Chefs DJ and Efren at Cabo Wabo. The ingredients were prepped, the margaritas flowing and stories were shared. We made fresh guacamole, queso fundido and quesobirria tacos, as Sammy watched over us. This was a fun girls Sunday afternoon event but couples and families would enjoy it too. The food was delicious!

The atmosphere was nice as it close to the beach. The food was great after a few hours in the waves 🌊. The waiter was nice, my vodka and cranberry was too weak and they took it back no problem and made me another. Fun place, would recommend for sure.

Briana was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu suggestions were perfect. Our party of 5 had a wonderful dining experience outside on the Patio!

The place is great. Very informal. They have a bar area for those who wants alcoholic drinks. You have options where to sit. For breakfast, there's a buffet with lots of selection. The service was excellent if you got Shea. She's very thoughtful in everything that we need before we asked her. She thinks of everything. Now that's service. They serve mostly Mexican food for lunch and dinner. You also have other options. You can try it for yourself.

I have to say what a great experience here. It was my first time and the service, food, and atmosphere were remarkable! I sat down and had a great view of the beach and a nice summer breeze. Drinks hit perfectly.... got a bit of a buzz on! The best part was my server, Nikki! She was attentive and alway had a smile on her face. I've been to restaurants before with so so service. She made the experience worthy of a 5 star review! I hope she's there next time I visit. Go in and get your drink on! Enjoy the chips and salsa by the beach.

Food was average . Not worth the price.. get way better food at reg taqiera. 500.00 a night and you get nasty tap water with your dinner no ice alot of things went bad our server she was like her first day on the job no napkins no chips and salsa complimentary. We had to ask for everthing.chicken fajitas were good calamari frozen fried . I'm not going to go on but what a bad place. Place was quiet . $90.00 for2

Randy was my favorite bartender! He was fast, efficient, professional, friendly, and his beverages were delicious. This is the perfect place for spring and summer to bring friends and family.

Nikki was the best server! We can run for our anniversary and she was absolutely amazing! She gave us great recommendations for the food and drinks. Everything tasted amazing! Even thought they were a bit busy with the holiday weekend she was ON IT! Loved her! We'll be coming back to see her!

Bad inside our hotel stay. Mexican Cuisine, I ordered the ceviche and they had 3 different kinds. I love the fish and lobster kind, I ordered the lobster. $32 I wish they would do 4 tostadas not 3. Also the lemon that they gave me was so dry, I asked the bartender for more :). The ceviche as a whole was delicious! Service was pretty fast. The bar wasn't really packed at all for a Saturday night. The was a man playing some good music as well.

I had a great time. I came to the bar close to closing the other day and really wanted a sweet tooth fix. I chatted with Anahleah and she assured me everything was a diabetic's dream (my words, not hers lol) and we finally landed on the churros. While I waited at the bar Ryan made me a very tasty margarita - not too sweet or tart but just right. And I got to chat with his fellow bartender Gabriel who was making a whiskey martini. Now I never knew that was a thing. So I too got a whiskey martini - with a blue cheese olive - and WOW. Gabriel knows how to make a drink. I'm not one to do martinis or olives but I was feeling the spirit of adventure and his drink didn't disappoint. Twas amazing. Even the manager (blanking on his name) was super kind involving a question I had. All in all great vibe, TVs abound, everyone was friendly, drinks were tasty and I passed out from a sugar crash after the churros not too long after. A great way to end a night!

Meal started with a personal greeting from Chef Jared himself who kindly delivered a new Queso Frito dish which was freshly fried and delicious. The Adobo Wings were perfectly crispy and spiced with jicama and radishes on the side to assist with the heat. The fajitas had a great mound of peppers and onions which is a must for me. And little bear scarfed the Mexican Pizza with ease. We'll be back next time we hit HB, fur sure!

We had the best experience here at Cabo Wabo. We are from Vegas, where hospitality is top notch and the cocktails are on point. We met Gabriel, a bartender at Cabo Wabo and he is truly the best mixologist we've ever experienced. His knowledge of mixology is truly amazing. He made us several cocktails and each one was amazing and unique. The flavors mixed so well together and the presentation and even garnishes went perfectly together. He even makes the drinks vegan with the foams that some of the drinks have. Gabriel is a hidden gem. Cabo Wabo is lucky to have him. If you want to experience the best cocktails in Huntington Beach, stop by Cabo Wabo at the Waterfront Hilton and ask for Gabriel!

Great service from Nikki! She had amazing recommendations. The vibes are spot on with a live singer. Awesome margs. Great way to start the night!

This was my first time here the Beach burger was unbelievable but Briana made the experience an exceptional one. Nice old fashion customer service with a smile. Made me want to come back for that alone. Please don't replace her with AI. Next time I'll be headed to the gorgeous patio with the fire lamps it's so romantic.

I stayed at the waterfront hotel since my friend had his wedding here. As a Hilton Diamond member, you get $15/person (max $30) per room to spend on food. My wife and I tried their breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning. The buffet ($36) features pretty much all the items on their usual breakfast menu (minus the chilaquiles that I originally wanted). I tried their posole, omelet, cinnamon sugar waffle, pancakes, mushroom eggs benedict, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. All of them tasted fine with no complaints. They have an omelet and waffle station. Our server Travis was kind and friendly. This place isn't a bad option if you want to stay in the hotel for breakfast.

The Halibut fish tacos are very savory. Grilled on the outside that gives a smoky taste to the fish. Fresh pico de gallo with a tropical twist of mango. Amazing!!! The staff is fantastic. Rebeca is an absolute professional server always attentive and always helpful. Cassie the runner also an amazing person always smiling and assisting beyond her responsibilities. We had an amazing time here.

Here in HB for a few days celebrating my birthday. The Quesabiria Tacos and Seafood Enchiladas are Awesome! Those suggestions were made by Alfredo and let me tell you, Alfredo is a Gem! His personality and knowledge of the restaurant, food and bar items was extremely helpful and definitely on point. Thank You!

Nikki was absolutely amazing! As foodies who travel, it's usually difficult to say someone was truly outstanding among the rest. However, in this case, Nikki's service, friendly conversation, attentiveness and general interest in going above and beyond the expectations of typical waitstaff, easily set her apart. We couldn't have been more pleased. Everything was beyond perfect. We were impressed at every opportunity. Wow.

Super awesome joint on the beach, great drinks... they had awesome live music played by Halfway to neptune and great food and drinks. We had the pizza and pitchers of margaritas!! Uncle Tony was super rad. We will be back.

Kai was amazing! Very friendly and hospitable. He helped us get our food and drinks out on the fly! It's a cute little place to chill with family or friends. Definitely will be coming back! Give Kai a raise!!!

Cabo Wabo bar has great food and great staff! Carlos was amazing and makes great drinks! Highly recommend this restaurant. Say hello Carlos when ya come in!

Came here for dinner after work to kick off a good weekend, great service from Maddie and our cocktails were killer!! Thank you for the great Friday night, will be back!!!

The last time here did not go well and I was invited back by the manager Rafael. This time Jared the chef came out, and introduced himself and the new menu which had just come out yesterday. We sampled several items and found everything prepared perfectly and everything tasted very well and much better experience from last time I will definitely be coming back. On top of the appetizers photo below we also had the steak fajitas and the prime New York, which was delicious. We even managed to squeeze in a dessert and share the Horchata Panna cotta. Everything was delicious.

Great food and service. Bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet on weekends is delicious.

Came here with the family to enjoy a weekend getaway! Sat outside and had a great view while drinking the jalapeño and Cadillac margarita. Started with the chips and salsa and let me tell you the salsa was amazing! Nikki was our server and she was spectacular. Super friendly and recommended awesome dishes. We had the birria tacos and Carne Asada burrito. We will be going back tomorrow and most likely the next day!

This review is long overdue but this bar is one of the best places in HB. I've been here a few times when work brings me to the area and each time have been impressed with the hotel ambience, cleanliness and style but most notably the service in Cabo Waco bar with Eddie. He's incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks are always consistent. I also appreciate the amount of gluten free options on the menu. Usually the bar is pretty mellow but tonight they had a serious influx of customers from a convention or meeting (I'm assuming was hosted at the hotel). It was insanely busy, but the staff (Eddie, Nicole and Ryan) never missed a beat, I watched them take order after order, revise orders, buss tables, etc.. without ever leaving anyone unattended. It's easy to get lost in a sea of convention members who flood the bar but the staff here made it a point to not only cater to the convention customers but made sure to check in and refill exactly when we needed it. Looking forward to my next visit to this cool little gem! Thank you Eddie, Nicole and Ryan!

Super friendly and excellent service - Very attentive - Nicky was fantastic. It seems it was her first night and she nailed it.

The food was really good and I loved the lobster starter. Sammy's rum cocktails are delicious, especially the creamsicle one. My Boyfriend and I agreed that the server, Jared was professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely be back asap. Must try!

My family of 11 joined me in Cabo Wabo and the team executed flawlessly. Jaxson was kind, attentive and professional. He was timely considering we had 3 young kids. My dad's favorite drink is The Conductor and Jaxson and Johanna made it happen even though Henry's is closed. Thank you to all of the Cabo Wabo cooks who made delicious plates that my whole family enjoyed. The quesabirria tacos, posole, ceviche, mushroom tacos, beet salad, flautas and shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious.

The food is fantastic! We stayed at this hotel 3 nights & ate here for breakfast 2 times. Great atmosphere and customer service is outstanding!! Thank you!

I came in yesterday for fourth of July fireworks and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Nikki was our server, we got the flautas, quesabirria tacos, and seafood pasta. The drinks were top notch, really great service, and just good vibes from this place all around. Will be coming back.

Perfect view and great food! Ask for Uncle Tony he'll take care of you!! We had the pizza, turkey sandwich and BBQ brisket - yum!! I highly recommend the turkey burger!!

I'm more of celebrating good than pointing out the not so good, but yeah, I'm going to in this case. After a long walk on the beach path, we wanted to get a bite to eat and saw this place near where we parked. Looking at the prices, they didn't seem too bad compared to other beach places. We ordered the brisket sandwich $12, and garlic parmesan fries $7. They weren't too busy, but they weren't dead, but either way it took a bit of time to get our food, not a big issue. Cashier was nice and friendly. When we finally got the food, we opened up the sandwich and noticed that it had two large pieces of brisket. But unfortunately, both of those pieces, we're very, very fatty. Luckily, I had my pocket knife on me and we he tried to cut off the most of the fat, I would guess that it equaled almost half of the meat. I mean it wasn't cheap but it wasn't really expensive for a sandwich, but the 2 pieces of meat had so much fat. It was just awful. We were going to share the sandwich between me and my wife but she ended up eating just the fries. I don't know if they just use very fatty brisket, or those who prepared it did not take the time to realize that they were giving us 2 pieces that were so fatty. I mean, it's not like good marbling in good meat. It was just, thick veins of tough fat. I don't think we will ever go back and if we do most likely, we'll get chicken or just fries or something of that nature. They do have a nice outdoor patio that you can see and hear the ocean. This food was in no way like the food we had at Cabo Wabo in mexico. So I highly suggest skip the brisket. Fries were good.

Kai's Amazing Service! We had a fantastic experience thanks to our server! Super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and made great recommendations. Everything came out quickly and with a smile. You can tell he really cares about the customer experience. Definitely made our meal even more enjoyable -- thank you!

Great food and service! Love that the menu is labeled with gluten free options as well as those that have dairy. Our server, Nikki, was super sweet and even brought blankets for our family when she saw that we were cold while dining outside. She was friendly and attentive and took great care of us!

Went down here at cabo wabo after Offshore 9 rooftop bar. They have a decent selection of food items and drinks. There was a live acoustic performance. Place is clean and cozy. Great place to hang out.

Going to sound like a complainer, and I really wanted to like this place, though it just wasn't great. The food wasn't generally bad, though it's priced as if it's a 4-star restaurant, and the kids menu and deserts were awful; "Mexican pizza" that's just a plain cheese pizza disk, hard churros, and the "fried ice cream" was rock solid ice cream in a taco salad shell. You could almost give it another star since the view of the pool/beach isn't bad if you're seated on the edge, though the hallway running right through the middle makes it feel like you are eating in a hotel lobby with a few Sammy Hagar memorabilia strewn around. And it was almost empty and still managed to be really slow. Sammy, step it up!

I went for the first time a few weeks ago to check it out. I had an amazing time , it was great vibe and the service was great. Nikki was our server and was so sweet and helpful. Can't wait to come back and hopefully I get Nikki again ! She truly was the best

Whoa, what a change from the previous place that was here! We enjoyed our meal here. Thankfully, we had resort credit so we were able to indulge a little bit. FYI, there is a kids menu but you won't able to find it online here (I also forgot to take a quick snap to post). If you don't like tacos, you can have a salad or a burger. :)

The employees there were super friendly and nice. They made sure we were always good and were pretty fast with bringing out our drinks and food. We had five people including 2 kids and they even went beyond when my nephew opened his ice cream and when it got caught on the wrapper and fell they got him a new one right away. I would definitely come back they had a little bit of everything for everyone to eat And the view was nice as well.

Maddie was an amazing server tonight. She was so friendly, warm, attentive, and always made herself available to us to make our visit great. It was an awesome night with surprising good quality food (was just expecting okay but actually was super tasty) all in all great experience!!

Came here on a random trip to the OC. I was craving Mexican food so I decided to spend the day at the Cabo Wabo beach club. My group and I were seated near the pool area. I ordered an old fashioned & the chicken flautas for an appetizer and birria tacos for my entrée. As we waited for the food to arrive, we received chips and salsa. Unfortunately, chicken flautas had zero seasoning but luckily some hot sauce was provided. The birria tacos were surprisingly AMAZING! Highly recommend
