Very friendly staff, and they always make sure your coffee cup stays full. The breakfast buffet is decent, not amazing, but great for kids with plenty they’ll enjoy. The menu isn’t huge, but it offers enough variety to cover different breakfast preferences.

Get the fajitas best thing on the menu. I tried several dishes and settled on the fajitas. I would say the highlight of the restaurant is the staff. The hostesses 10/16 and 10/18 were lovely and interact so nicely with kids. The wait staff is very nice as well and this evening you could see some men who seem like managers bringing food to the tables and ensuring it runs smoothly. It’s a good experience and apparently they have really great burgers too.

This is the second year we’ve stayed at this resort and we love the chill vibe of the bar and breakfast is really good. We split a breakfast burrito because they’re huge. The flavor is awesome, just the right amount of kick. The bar prices are a little high but outside of that, a really cool spot for breakfast in the morning and a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar.

The food's good. The prices are typical for hotel resort. The view is good if you sit outside or near the pool. The wagyu fajitas was perfectly cooked with grilled flavor served with flames next to the table. The salsa has a bit of a kick and chips were crispy.

My friend and I came here for lunch and were incredibly impressed. Excellent service by our server Jared, and a gorgeous view of the beach while we dined. The food was absolutely on point! We tried the ceviche, street corn, carnitas tacos, and quesobirria tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious! Generous portion sizes too.

They've really leveled up and beyond post soft opening. Returned last night with hubs. Starting from the warm bar reception, fresh Brewery X beer, CW tequila shrimp (and the accompany bread), excellent chips and salsa to the main entrees--quesabirria for hubs and Veracruz chopped salad for me. Highlight was Chef Efren's flan--his mom's recipe. Truly one of the most memorable meals. Service from bar to finish was perfection. Warm, inviting. Fun setting. Arriving hotel guests in great spirits. Can't wait to come back. Our new go-to for coastal Mex. Outstanding.

Having been bit by boredom in these homely confines, I decided to take a bit of a break, clear my head, and what better way than to pay a visit to that sound of nature we all love - the beach! Let me take this opportunity to introduce you to Cabo Wabo Beach Club. This is not just a hotel or restaurant, but a delightful blend of both. To say that it exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. As someone who has had his fair share of travel experiences, I can confidently say that this location is the perfect spot for different sorts of folks. Whether you're looking for a charming escapade for a romantic date night, a picturesque backdrop for your vlogging endeavors as a YouTuber or even if you simply wish to indulge in a little taste of luxury, this place has it all. If you don't believe me, allow my pictures to do the talking. The atmosphere is nothing short of stunning with teal waves crashing the sun-kissed shores, creating a symphony that not just pleases the ears but also tugs at one's heart. But there’s more! This establishment is not only inviting for you but also your furry companions, making it pet-friendly and family-oriented. One of the many feathers in their cap is their prime location, strategically positioned just across the beach, so it's just a crosswalk away from setting foot on golden sands. Although it resides in a luxurious neighborhood, you’ll be delighted to know that the prices for the food and drinks are surprisingly reasonable. The quality of their dishes took me on a culinary journey to remember and the drinks just were the icing on the cake. I was so enchanted by my experience at Cabo Wabo, I find myself counting down the days until I booked a weekend in June to soak up more of this magical atmosphere. As someone with a background in management, I can truly appreciate their attention to detail and the memorable service they provide. I felt I must share this slice of paradise in a rather heavy world. In a nutshell, if you haven’t been here, you’re missing out!

Food was flavorless, and pricey for the what it is. I ordered, Seafood Ceviche, Queso Fundido with Chorizo, Chicken Tenders, Carne Asada tacos, Fish tacos, and Seafood Pasta, and Fried Ice Cream. Both the Carne Asada and Fish tacos were not properly seasoned, which made for a bland taco, they were better once we added salt. The Asada tacos were ~$8.33/each. The Queso Fundido was 99.9% cheese with Chorizo than I'm used to at other restaurants for a lower price. Also, lacking the chorizo flavor. The Ceviche was good but not the best I've had from other restaurants. The Seafood Pasta and the Fried Ice Cream were the best dishes.

I came here for breakfast recently and I must say - the food here is really delicious and the staff were very attentive! Shoutout to Pedro for the wonderful service and accommodating the modifications on my order, and to Johanna for checking in on me and ensuring that I enjoyed my experience!

We arrived around 4pm which was both Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour. Our bartender was Eddie and he was amazing - All smiles and very attentive. He gave us great recommendations from food to drinks. The nachos were sooo good. The carne asada and chicken tacos were also good. Salsas were on point with a good kick, which honestly I wasn't expecting. The Oaxacan mule and Pepino drinks were my fave. I will be back to try the mole fries. Make sure to get chips and salsa - addicting! The overall environment was great. Very clean with great lighting. All the guys behind the bar seem to work well together. Thanks so much Eddie for a great experience. This was my first time here and definitely won't be my last!

Been a few times during the day on my lunch break and had great service from Haley the bartender. Food is great. Drinks are great! I come 2x a month at least and it's been great every time! Ask for Haley If you go!

My previous review was for the SAND BAR and not the BEACH CLUB. With that said, the General Mgr of the Cabo Wabo Beach Club reached out about the issue and invited me back due to the previous experience we had at the Sand Bar. Rafael was very welcoming and truly was concerned and that was refreshing to take pride both at his restaurant and the one out at the beach. We started off with chips, guac and salsa, which was very good. I'm a fresh salsa guy, (a whole meal could be chips and good salsa but I digress.) I ordered the Wagu steak fajitas and they were delicious and tender. The veggies were amazing, I highly recommend this dish. In addition we tried the Glacier 51 Chilean Sea bass ceviche. The Glacier 51 sea bass was marinated in aji Amarillo lime juice served with Peruvian green sauce hominy, concha's and crispy yucca (it was the highlight of the meal). To finish off, we were treated to fresh made churros with 3 dips (caramel, chocolate, and vanilla sauces). All three were very good. My favorite was the caramel and my wife loved the vanilla (you could see the specs of real vanilla in it). The restaurant itself is very nicely nestled mid resort adjacent to the pool with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat near the window (a bit chilly yesterday). I would highly recommend this place just for the Chilean sea bass ceviche which you can order at the bar. This restaurant would make for a very nice lunch or a great dinner date. The service was great and we were taken well care of. Rafael took the time to come to our table a couple of times and made sure everything was satisfactory. If you're visiting HB consider checking them out. If it hadn't been for Rafael reaching out we would have never discovered it. The entrance is off Pacific View Ave even though the address is on PCH and they validate for parking.

We had our wedding here in Sept, over the year of planning the Cabo Wabo was a nice place to get a bite to eat at times to look over ideas. The staff was amazing as they helped us with on of our signature cocktails for the wedding.

The place is great. Very informal. They have a bar area for those who wants alcoholic drinks. You have options where to sit. For breakfast, there's a buffet with lots of selection. The service was excellent if you got Shea. She's very thoughtful in everything that we need before we asked her. She thinks of everything. Now that's service. They serve mostly Mexican food for lunch and dinner. You also have other options. You can try it for yourself.

I always have a 5-star experience when I come here, and that's mainly due to the great service from Eddie and Gabriel. They are so friendly and cheerful. Just fantastic people. I'd go out of my way to eat at Cabo even if I wasn't staying at the hotel. The steak fajitas are the best thing on the menu, and now that they've brought back their famous street corn, I'll have to come back more often. P.S. Taco Tuesdays are also outstanding and worth the drive on their own...but only if Eddie and Gabriel are there. Can't wait to come back!

Bad inside our hotel stay. Mexican Cuisine, I ordered the ceviche and they had 3 different kinds. I love the fish and lobster kind, I ordered the lobster. $32 I wish they would do 4 tostadas not 3. Also the lemon that they gave me was so dry, I asked the bartender for more :). The ceviche as a whole was delicious! Service was pretty fast. The bar wasn't really packed at all for a Saturday night. The was a man playing some good music as well.

The BEST bartender at Cabo Wabo, CARLOS! I have to take a moment to give major credit to Carlos, hands down the best bartender we've ever had anywhere, not just at Cabo Wabo. From the second we sat down, he brought such great energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness that it completely elevated our experience. You can tell he cares about every guest and takes real pride in what he does. He makes everyone feel welcome, remembers your order instantly, and somehow keeps the drinks coming perfectly balanced even when the bar is packed. That's a true skill. And it's not just the drinks , it's his personality, his attitude, and his positive energy that make the entire atmosphere better. Honestly, if every bartender were like Carlos, Cabo Wabo would be unstoppable. He deserves major recognition (and a raise if you ask me). Please don't ever overlook how much value he brings to this place, because people like him are the reason guests keep coming back. Carlos, thank you for making our night unforgettable , you're a total rockstar behind the bar!

My experience at Cabo Wabo Beach club was amazing!!! The food was delicious specially the asada tacos with the salsa it comes with and the salsa verde nachos. The drinks were refreshing and well made. The service Eddie gave was excellent; he always made sure we were good. He gave us great food recommendations and drink recommendations. Overall, it was a great bar experience. Everybody was very friendly and attentive.

Food was average . Not worth the price.. get way better food at reg taqiera. 500.00 a night and you get nasty tap water with your dinner no ice alot of things went bad our server she was like her first day on the job no napkins no chips and salsa complimentary. We had to ask for everthing.chicken fajitas were good calamari frozen fried . I'm not going to go on but what a bad place. Place was quiet . $90.00 for2

Randy was my favorite bartender! He was fast, efficient, professional, friendly, and his beverages were delicious. This is the perfect place for spring and summer to bring friends and family.

Lived in Orange County for quite some time and can't believe I didn't know about this place. First time trying it out and I was blown away. So happy I found it. I thought I had to go to Cabo to visit and we have a Cabo Wabo in OC. The ambiance is fun. The place is immaculate. Decor is awesome. Staff WAS EXCELLENT! Bartenders Eddie and Gabe were very attentive, kind and helpful with the menu. They gave us the best tips on what's hot on the menu. The Manager Johanna was GREAT! She came out and checked on us, introduced herself which always adds a nice touch to have the Manager welcome you. The drinks were AMAZING and the food portions pretty big so you definitely get your moneys worth! I'll definitely be back and will tell my friends about it!!! A+ service all around.

Food was delicious! Everyone was nice! We had so much fun singing along with band. The restaurant manager, Johanna was accommodating. Briana was so excellent in serving us. Ricardo was also lively!

Delicious breakfast and dinner, and the service was impeccable! Carlos and Eddie were our bartenders, they were super nice and suggested a Scooby Snack shot for me and my two girlfriends. Rene was our server in the morning, he recommended the breakfast burrito which was HUGE and super tasty! Rafael is the restaurant manager, he answered all our questions about the area and was overall a delight to talk to. Thank you Cabo!!

The Cabo Wabo Beach Club at the Waterfront Resort has the best drinks and bartenders! Not only were the cocktails amazing but the service was also amazing. Gabriel, Carlos, and Eddie are the best mixologists and servers!

Meal started with a personal greeting from Chef Jared himself who kindly delivered a new Queso Frito dish which was freshly fried and delicious. The Adobo Wings were perfectly crispy and spiced with jicama and radishes on the side to assist with the heat. The fajitas had a great mound of peppers and onions which is a must for me. And little bear scarfed the Mexican Pizza with ease. We'll be back next time we hit HB, fur sure!

Highly recommend this place for breakfast, whether you're a guest of the hotel or not. Good food and attentive service in a bright, stylish dining area. On weekends there's a buffet breakfast; we were there on a weekday and got the CW Eggs Benny which was one of the best eggs benedict I've ever had. Just outside the restaurant in the hallway is an amazing gingerbread house display of the Huntington Beach pier.

Found this bar with some friends on a Tuesday night! We had the carne asada tacos and green salsa nachos and they were delicious! The drinks were amazing ! The bartender Eddie was very friendly, engaging and attentive! I would definitely recommend visiting !

We had the best experience here at Cabo Wabo. We are from Vegas, where hospitality is top notch and the cocktails are on point. We met Gabriel, a bartender at Cabo Wabo and he is truly the best mixologist we've ever experienced. His knowledge of mixology is truly amazing. He made us several cocktails and each one was amazing and unique. The flavors mixed so well together and the presentation and even garnishes went perfectly together. He even makes the drinks vegan with the foams that some of the drinks have. Gabriel is a hidden gem. Cabo Wabo is lucky to have him. If you want to experience the best cocktails in Huntington Beach, stop by Cabo Wabo at the Waterfront Hilton and ask for Gabriel!

I stayed at the waterfront hotel since my friend had his wedding here. As a Hilton Diamond member, you get $15/person (max $30) per room to spend on food. My wife and I tried their breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning. The buffet ($36) features pretty much all the items on their usual breakfast menu (minus the chilaquiles that I originally wanted). I tried their posole, omelet, cinnamon sugar waffle, pancakes, mushroom eggs benedict, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. All of them tasted fine with no complaints. They have an omelet and waffle station. Our server Travis was kind and friendly. This place isn't a bad option if you want to stay in the hotel for breakfast.

I have to say what a great experience here. It was my first time and the service, food, and atmosphere were remarkable! I sat down and had a great view of the beach and a nice summer breeze. Drinks hit perfectly.... got a bit of a buzz on! The best part was my server, Nikki! She was attentive and alway had a smile on her face. I've been to restaurants before with so so service. She made the experience worthy of a 5 star review! I hope she's there next time I visit. Go in and get your drink on! Enjoy the chips and salsa by the beach.

Nikki was the best server! We can run for our anniversary and she was absolutely amazing! She gave us great recommendations for the food and drinks. Everything tasted amazing! Even thought they were a bit busy with the holiday weekend she was ON IT! Loved her! We'll be coming back to see her!

Came out for the pool when the weather picked up -- Eddie and Gabriel didn't miss a beat. Walked us inside, gave us service, and made us feel like VIPs. Beautiful hotel, great vibe, and hosts that absolutely crushed it. Sammy Hagar would be proud let's go!

First of all our server Briana was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! We truly enjoyed getting to know her in the short amount of time we dined. All of the food was amazing! Duck Confit Tacos, Sea Bass and the Wagyu Steak Fajitas. And the homemade chips and salsa were amazing as well we asked for a 2nd helping! We would definitely recommend this to all!

Wow! Great birthday dinner for my husband! We had a blast at dinner and an overall wonderful stay! Sizzling steak fajitas recommended. And Briana was so wonderful. Will definitely be back and ask for Briana, her smile is so inviting!

Here in HB for a few days celebrating my birthday. The Quesabiria Tacos and Seafood Enchiladas are Awesome! Those suggestions were made by Alfredo and let me tell you, Alfredo is a Gem! I had a great time. I came to the bar close to closing the other day and really wanted a sweet tooth fix. I chatted with Anahleah and she assured me everything was a diabetic's dream (my words, not hers lol) and we finally landed on the churros. While I waited at the bar Ryan made me a very tasty margarita - not too sweet or tart but just right. And I got to chat with his fellow bartender Gabriel who was making a whiskey martini. Now I never knew that was a thing. So I too got a whiskey martini - with a blue cheese olive - and WOW. Gabriel knows how to make a drink. I'm not one to do martinis or olives but I was feeling the spirit of adventure and his drink didn't disappoint. Twas amazing. Even the manager (blanking on his name) was super kind involving a question I had. All in all great vibe, TVs abound, everyone was friendly, drinks were tasty and I passed out from a sugar crash after the churros not too long after. A great way to end a night!

Nikki was absolutely amazing! As foodies who travel, it's usually difficult to say someone was truly outstanding among the rest. However, in this case, Nikki's service, friendly conversation, attentiveness and general interest in going above and beyond the expectations of typical waitstaff, easily set her apart. We couldn't have been more pleased. Everything was beyond perfect. We were impressed at every opportunity. Wow.

Super awesome joint on the beach, great drinks... they had awesome live music played by Halfway to neptune and great food and drinks. We had the pizza and pitchers of margaritas!! Uncle Tony was super rad. We will be back.

Went down here at cabo wabo after Offshore 9 rooftop bar. They have a decent selection of food items and drinks. There was a live acoustic performance. Place is clean and cozy. Great place to hang out.

This was my first time here the Beach burger was unbelievable but Briana made the experience an exceptional one. Nice old fashion customer service with a smile. Made me want to come back for that alone. Please don't replace her with AI. Next time I'll be headed to the gorgeous patio with the fire lamps it's so romantic.

Whoa, what a change from the previous place that was here! We enjoyed our meal here. Thankfully, we had resort credit so we were able to indulge a little bit. FYI, there is a kids menu but you won't able to find it online here (I also forgot to take a quick snap to post). If you don't like tacos, you can have a salad or a burger. :)

Great service and live music right on the beach! Tony is the best made it feel like home and it was our first time....second visit we felt like family. Definitely a place to we will be visiting again and again!

Came here on a random trip to the OC. I was craving Mexican food so I decided to spend the day at the Cabo Wabo beach club. My group and I were seated near the pool area. I ordered an old fashioned & the chicken flautas for an appetizer and birria tacos for my entrée. As we waited for the food to arrive, we received chips and salsa. Unfortunately, chicken flautas had zero seasoning but luckily some hot sauce was provided. The birria tacos were surprisingly AMAZING! Highly recommend

Overall an outstanding experience. Stayed for a week with my wife, kids and they grandparents/our parents. Cabana staff on the weekend days were hard working and super on top of it. Weekdays cabana staff was a little slower, but staffing was less. huge shoutout to Chad helping coordinate the cabanas all week for the family. Our favorite staff was the Cabo Wabo bar staff inside. A collective group of high achievers and detailed oriented folks willing to go above and beyond anything we would ask for or need. Shout out to Pete and Eddie making our afternoons and evenings so enjoyable. Only negatives about the place is that food and drink on the resort is a bit expensive, but as it's expected for a California resort with the beachfront. Outside of that, got rubbed the wrong way at Henry's regarding the lack of communication that there was going to be an 18% gratuity added to our bill due to the size of the group (8). Not that that isn't expected, but no reminder or mention of it and the check was slide on the table without a mention and we had to ask what the "Service Fee" line item was when confirming it was required gratuity. We still tipped on top bc the food was good, service was quick and the setting was outstanding.

Carlos and Heri made my fiancé's birthday so special. They went over and beyond with service and the food was delicious. We will absolutely be coming back!
